Rated as one of Singapore's best Hainanese Satays with quite a few food guides, I must come try it out. On a packed Hawker Centre during peak Sunday night, I was surprised to see this stall manned by three young man has no queue. Was a little skeptical, but on ordering was given a buzzer thus I realised. Took us a wait of almost 30 minutes for our Pork satays. Their satays are grilled over charcoal fire in your view thus they retained the smoky flavour, and the satays are well marinated, nicely charred and very flavourful. Peanut sauce is thick and savoury. Only thing missing is thin layer of fat between the meat. Thus four stars in my view, worth a visit, but could have been better if they have that thin layer fat that would glisten the satays and make me come back again and again. At 70 cents a stick, it lack that fatty bits and lose out to my favourite in town.
