A great restaurant by the Untertrave river. Great quality food, well presented dishes, excellent service and environment. They also have good drinks and even produce some of the alcohol themselves. I've had other good dishes there, but the Salmon Burger is specially good! Totally recommend.

Good vibes, the staff is very cool and prompt. Food (espcially the fish) is interesting and aromatic. Good beers. Recommend it. Slow service though. But it s a nice place.

Great food. I loved the salmon burger. The fish and chips looked great. They had their own pilsner and locally made sodas. The staff was really nice and friendly, he even made a few jokes. Great seafood restaurant on Lübeck's waterfront, serving classic regional dishes with a modern twist. Staff is very friendly and attentive, and the place has a nice atmosphere. Can get quite busy, so make sure to reserve a table in advance.

In one word: super! In more words: I ordered the seasonal special: fried herring with roasted potato+bacon and cucumber salad. The catch was super fresh and tender, came off the bones like butter. I’m not a huge cucumber salad fan but I finished mine, it was delicious. Roasted potatoes, well is as good as it gets, the bacon bits just made it stand out. Had the crème brûlée with a side of sorbet (rhubarb) , and it completed the whole experience. Service was outstanding. The food arrived very quickly. If you’re in the area, this is one of the places to be.

A popular fish place. I came at 17:30 and managed to get a table without reservation. Staffs are friendly. I ordered a nordic starter with Kiel fish, cod & chips and a small beer and it costed €50. The dishes are fine but I would expect better considering the price. They provide vinegar too for the fish & chips (in case you want it as UK style.. like me). Btw, they have a take away place across the street as well.

The battered fish is really good. It changes how I think about fish and chips! I was initially like "Fried fish? Everybody can do that!", and after I took a bite "Holy. This is so good. The fish is juicy, is not fishy, and so flavorful!" I agree with other comments that the price on the steep side, but I am glad the food performance met the high expectation from the high price. Good job!

Lovely place in Lubeck. Delicious and beautifully presented fish-based dishes. Best part, it's dog-friendly! We were given a water bowl for our dog. Lovely sheltered & heated seating area outside. Friendly and attentive staff. Must visit!

We did not have a reservation but they were able to seat us, no problem. We got some drinks, placed our order. The waiter spoke English and was friendly. Just as the name translates to "freshly caught", everything tasted simply fresh and local. We got the Nordic snack, fish soup, salmon burger, and salmon with potatoes, mushrooms and peas - everything was tasty. The soup that we started with was so flavorful and bold, with the skewered shrimp perfectly cooked. Incredibly generous portions. Very cozy, relaxed atmosphere with candles lit and quite full for 7p on a Tuesday. They also have a stand across the street by the water, featuring fish and chips plus fischbrotchen, bier and vino. It is a nice addition, people can eat by the water and relax.

Incredible tasty fish. Perfectly grilled and not greasy at all. Not too much oil with perfect crust and flavored perfectly. I am a big fan of their Scholle. 24€ seems to be a lot but you get two big pieces that is worth the price given the quality. The fish and chips are nice and the amount of fish is also great. I felt 15€ was a bit overpriced for it though and we've had better fish and chips elsewhere in Germany but the overall experience and taste made it worth 5 stars for me to come back whenever I am in Lübeck

Had some good fish & chips here. The plaice was also well prepared. Big portions, so if you don't have a big appetite you can share. I think there was a garden full of potatoes in those chips. Pretty small wine selection if you're drinking by the glass - only choices are their own label in red or white. It's an okay table wine. More choices for beer, but that's what goes best with fish & chips anyhow, in my opinion. Nice, very friendly service. Very clean place and despite the proximity of the tables, and a full house, the noise level is quite good. Tables out front if you don't mind eating beside a busy street. Take away is available. Worth a visit, very reasonably priced, and a nice casual place. Closed on Mondays.

The best meal I have had in Lübeck. Excellently prepared turbot, lovely glass of Riesling, and wonderful dessert. Unpretentious and honest.

We couldn't get a reservation for a table inside but were lucky to walk by when an outside table became available. We ordered the fish soup which features big chunks of fish and seafood in a well seasoned light broth; the evening's special pike plate- cooked perfectly with the skin on and accompanied with mushrooms and a salad; and a vegetarian bowl with avocado cream, beluga lentils, seeds, sprouts and other veggies, topped with our choice of salmon - light but substantial, and the salmon was perfectly grilled. The food was fresh, nicely presented and tasted delicious. Service was friendly and competent! Highly recommended for fish and seafood.
