"Fanny’s feels like the kind of place where entertainment lawyers eat steak and complain about their clients. It also happens to be the restaurant and cafe at the Academy Museum in Miracle Mile. This two-story spot is full of clamshell booths, waiters in fitted blazers, and blocks of French cheese that ride around the dining room on a rolling cart. But much like the Recording Academy, this prestigious establishment usually misses the mark. If you’re already at the museum and in need of a convenient lunch option, drop by Fanny’s for a breakfast burrito or a club sandwich. But if you’re looking for a special occasion dinner spot that’ll make you feel inspired, keep looking. From a monotone ceasar salad to a dramatic tomahawk steak carved tableside, dinner here is very underwhelming. The only thing more disappointing than the food is the lonely DJ spinning vinyl records in a massive space that remains almost entirely empty after 8pm. That said, the cocktails are great and the glamorous dining room works well for a last-minute drink date in the area." - Nikko Duren

Went to Fanny's on a Friday night to celebrate our friends anniversary. We had a 7:45pm reservation, and we were seated immediately. This place is a nice boutique Italian restaurant. Very modern. Dimly lit. Good music playing, and it wasn't loud at all. The service was quick and friendly. So for drinks, I had a dirty martini and my friend had a sangria which were both really good. We had the baked clams and the Wagyu meatballs for appetizers. The clams were good and the serving was generous for a table of 4 to share. The only thing I found strange is that you had to order and pay for the bread. The bread was delicious. Soft on the inside, crusty on the outside and came out warm. It came with this amazing sweet/spicy spread, but still... you had to pay for it. The serving was enough for each of us to have a piece. The meatballs were also very delicious, and the crispy polenta it was served on was amazing! For dinner, we had the Braised Short Rib Ravioli. It was good, and the portion was fine. My husband had the vodka pasta with fried chicken cutlet cut up in it - which I can't find on the menu. The waitress suggested it because he was going to order the Vodka Parm under the "From The Coop" section of the menu, but she let him know no pasta came with that. Anyway - what he got was AMAZING, and the portion was generous. He actually brought the rest home. My other friend got the Hatfield 14oz Pork Chop and was disappointed. He ordered it spicy and he got sweet. They got it wrong. It kinda tasted like ham. Overall everything was ok - but it was a little pricey. Nice for a special occasion. Next door is Ladyfingers Bakery. They had amazing specialty donuts and a carrot cake that was to die for!!! If you're not impressed with the dessert menu at Fannys - be sure to check them out. It's associated with Fannys.

Located in Bloomfield, New Jersey, Fanny’s serves up sophisticated Italian cuisine with delicious cocktails. The Wagyu Meatballs and Whipped Ricotta were incredible, and don't miss their perfect Vodka Parm and the melt-in-your-mouth Filet Mignon! Loved the interior too!

This place was amazing, I’m coming back asap! The food took a while but honestly it was so good we didn’t even mind after trying it. The cocktails were well crafted and the employees were super nice. The portion sizes looked ok but the food was super hearty and filling. Great for a date night.

We went for the Sunday evening "breakfast for dinner" experience - the French toast sticks were sublime, the silver dollar stacks were well-loved by my fiance, and I thoroughly enjoyed my cocktail. Can't comment on dinner at this time but we'll come back later this year and I will try to update this review

Absolutely delicious food and drink. You must try the baked clams, ricotta crostone, all of the pastas, the steak and honestly cannot wait to go back to try more. Tons of flavor and great portions. The bartender was excellent and made us some shots for celebrating a birthday and all cocktails were very well balanced. Service was spot on and our server was very nice and the perfect amount of attentive. We didn’t have to ask for anything! The ambience of the restaurant is also very beautiful - cannot wait to host a private event there one day! Thank you for making my wife’s birthday special!

Google
Drinks and atmosphere was nice. Waiter and hostess was hospitable. Appetizers were good...Wasn't too much of a fan of the dinner portion but the steak was tasty just wish it came with one side considering the cost. The pasta fell a lil short for me and wasn't hot when it reached the table..lukewarm to my taste but that may be how it's served there. Overall I would return again. Lastly the bartender is a gem she really put in some work on my espresso martini so no complaints there. Dessert was also good too.

Google
Great addition to the NJ Food Scene..! Beautiful interiors with a great ambiance. Staff were all very pleasant and helpful, and the service was pretty good as well. All the dishes we ordered tasted wonderful and yummy, and exactly how you would expect them to be. The options form their Substantials Menu was really substantial, the size of the Pork Chops was huge. Pasta options were cooked perfectly and seasoned well. They have some fresh Cocktails to choose form as well. Would definitely recommend

Came here for the first time with my husband. I made reservations online and we were seated immediately upon arriving. All of the staff was very kind including our server. The restaurant was clean with a nice welcoming feel. I ordered the eggplant parm, my husband had the steak pizzaiola, and we shared the ricotta toast. We both really enjoyed the ricotta. My eggplant was good. It came out piping hot and was large enough for two people. My husband's steak was cooked perfectly. He really enjoyed it but it was a little on the sweeter side for my personal liking. Service was excellent throughout. Overall a great dinner and we would certainly return again!

Yelp
We were a party of 9. Service was extremely slow because they were understaffed. The entire restaurant had one official waiter. fannys was so understaffed that the bartenders came to serve food at one point. For an establishment to be understaffed during holiday season is not very good. I don't blame our waitress Yolanda as she was running around all over the place. We didn't even get water for the table until we got our check. Food was mediocre. I got the lobster Madaline- which was lacking salt and seasoning. A touch of lemon and salt would've went a long way. For $32 the entree came with very little lobster .

Yelp
The Good- i love the bar area, the seats are very comfy and the walls are nice. Seems like you were dining at a speakeasy joint. Disco music playing was a plus then it switched to 90's Hip Hop but i didn't mind. It just seemed a bit out of place. The Bad- i was LITERALLY the ONLY person sitting at the bar my entire 2+ hours dining there on a saturday evening and i waited 30 mins for baked clams and approx 27 mins for my pasta course. The Ugly- baked clams were not good. Nduja sausage, butter, chimichurri, and lemon. I don't know. It sounds good but it was just too much going on and it just wasn't for me. The most disappointing was the Amatriciana Bucatini, guanciale, pecorino, calabrian chili. The pasta was slippery meaning it wasn't al dente at all. I don't even think they used actual Guanciale. They were chunks of fat. I never had Guanciale like this before. Usually they are tiny little bite sized pieces of crispy salty pork. This was not the case! It wasn't crispy at all. It was just cooked fat. Calabrian chili?? Where?? No spice at all. I gave it 2 stars because the bartender was really nice. Overall. Big fail

Yelp
Fanny's never fails to impress! This upscale Italian gem offers not only incredible food and cocktails, but also a vibrant atmosphere. The homemade pasta is truly exceptional--some of the best I've ever had! My personal favorites are the vodka pasta and the Lobster Malfadine, both bursting with flavor. The service is always impeccable, with a team that radiates warmth and energy, making every visit feel special. From the food to the hospitality, Fanny's sets the bar high for an unforgettable dining experience.

Yelp
Stopped in Fannys for a quick but delicious meal and it delivered. The food was very flavorful and you can tell it was freshly made. We were starving and nearly finished our meals leaving little left overs. It's a dimly lit restaurant with plenty of parking behind the building. I can't wait to come for a slower more relaxed night out when we can stay a little longer because I would love to try their drinks

Elizabeth L.

Yelp
Fun space, loved the attention to detail from the wallpaper, down to the glassware everything had so much character. Seats were designed to sit for hours and the bar was super swanky and cute. The food itself was wonderful and the star was the vodka sauce pasta (6/5) Founder was also excellently prepared not too much sauce and paired with broccolini The burrata was delightful and the truffle aricini balls were YUM. Crispy goodness and piping hot I also loved that they were smaller in size and easier to eat. The chopped salad was fine a little over dressed for my taste but shareable. Drinks left me a little wanting, my Prosecco was room temp and my friends drink was also just ok. Maybe stick to wine and beer. Next to the restaurant which you walk through in order to get in was the lady fingers dessert spot. I'll leave that review separately! Smart tactic!

Kaylee G.

Yelp
Stopped in last night with a group of 5 other girls! Our server was helpful and knowledgeable about the menu and drinks. We ordered a bunch of appetizers for the table and each was better than the next. The whipped ricotta crustini was probably my favorite followed by the truffle arancini (not pictured). All of our entrees were delicious- I got chicken vodka parm. We finished with a few different orders on dessert and wow- what a way to close the night. Definitely will be back to try more of the yummy menu.

Anthony S.

Yelp
The portions are shareable and quite huge. the place is nice inside. Visited twice. The food is ok at best. It could be better food wise. They need to improve the tasting of the food.

Yelp
2.5*...Oof, this pains me to write this review being I LOVE their sister restaurant "Brookdale". I'm not sure where to start but from the top... Seated around 6:30 with a primarily empty restaurant but apparently seating us in the section of families with kids was thought to be a great idea...great start to a date night! Server asked for drinks and and food so placed an order for the "Two Yutes" a glass of "Barco Reale Super Tuscan" and also an order of Clams. The Two Yutes was fine, nothing great, but the wine was spectacular. Unfortunately the appetizer arrived wayyy before our drinks. The clams were luke warm at best and were finished before receiving the drinks or even an acknowledgment from the server. Finally when the server arrived with drinks and an empty plate I requested bread but was informed I need to "order" bread. Fine, please give me bread so we can enjoy dunking in the leftover sauce from the clams... Waited, waited... bread arrived which was focaccia and house butter. The butter might have been the star of the night, but again we just wanted some bread to eat while we enjoyed the drinks. Entrees arrived while still eating the bread and were just "okay". The vodka parm was way too thin, too oily and on the sweet side. I love thin cutlets, but these only tasted of oil and the sparsely sweet vodka sauce atop. The pork chop was nothing like the pictures Ive seen and just didn't make sense. The pork chop was cooked perfect, but was topped with a sausage and pepper/onion "relish". The sauce was okay, but again it just didn't make sense in my opinion and was just again, "okay". The service felt completely uncomfortable, absolutely non attentive, and just made this experience super lackluster. Also, stop with the service fees, it's just tacky please work it into the pricing. Maybe I went in with high hopes and wanted more, but I didn't have or felt anything that would make me come back unfortunately.

Yelp
Fanny's absolutely HITS.the food is tasty! Picture is their tiramisu which your waiter will put a cool display on for and the pasta vodka is perfectly aldente with excellent seasoning. Knocking down a start because service was slow, however, staff is friendly!!

Yelp
Me and my girlfriend came here to do our book review and had a great time. From the moment we came in we were greeted with a friendly smile from the hostess . Our waitress was very attentive and gave some good recommendations when it came to the cocktails. We ordered the Vodka Parm and shrimp scampi which were very delicious and filling. It was seasoned very well and definitely would recommend either dish. The vodka parm is def a lot so get ready to take some to go. We also had the CAULIFLOWER SCARPARIELLO as an appetizer and it was SOOO DELICIOUS!! However they prepped this was simply perfect. We had zeppoli and olive oil cake. Both were tasty but would recommend the zeppoli over the cake. The cake was more like a pound cake nothing to memorable about it. We had the funny how? Which was okay very refreshing. However I personally liked the Two Yutes better as it was sweeter in taste . Ambiance is a great spot for a date or hang out spot. It wasn't too loud and had good lighting for us to be able to look at our books .

Yelp
Where do I even begin? From start to finish, this meal was wonderful. Fanny's seems to be getting a lot of publicity lately so my foodie friend and I decided to give it a whirl. There is a large parking lot in the back for those that are dining here and an entrance to the restaurant in the back as well. Immediately when walking in you can tell the vibe here is elevated yet casual. The bar is beautiful and the ambiance is top notch. Everyone was extremely friendly to us. We even struck up a nice conversation with the hostess. She was lovely. Fanny's has an extensive cocktail list with a lot of really unique options. We both opted for the Funny How? which was light and lemony. It was perfect. As far as food goes, we split the basil pesto arancini, broccolini, the pork chop, and shrimp scampi. They even gave us a free chopped salad since the food took a little extra time to come out. Everything was really tasty and came out piping hot. I loved the whipped ricotta and chili sauce that came with the broccolini. The pasta and pork chop were cooked perfectly and both flavorful. I can't wait to return. They do a special Sunday, Monday, and Tuesdays - 28pp for a pre fix menu. I am dying to give that a try since it's such a great day.

Yelp
Modern, comfortable and delicious! It's not an easy feat to open up an Italian place in Jersey, but Fanny's was terrific. We all tried an app and a main and loved everything. A creative spin on Italian while still being authentic. Friendly, pro service too and cocktails were on point. It is a bit loud, but it matches the fun, celebratory vibe and we could all hear each other speak at our table. Definitely planning to return and can envision us becoming regulars.

Yelp
Opening night, walked into a beautiful Italian restaurant. Three dining areas and a midsize bar. Full menu is available at the bar. That's where I chose to sit. Dani, was very attentive. My glass was never empty and she paired a wine with my food. Hamachi Crudo was refreshing. Crab salad is actually a tossed salad. It was made with radicchio, shaved Brussel sprouts, and arugula. There was no sign of crab and the creamy lemon vinaigrette lacked flavor. For $21 there should be a lump of crab. Saffron battered shrimp served steaming hot. Batter fell apart and the shrimp were very small. Focaccia was perfectly baked. It was large, light, crunchy top, and very good. The star was Gomiti with vodka sauce. The pasta is homemade and the sauce was the best I've ever had. 5 stars to the entire staff and the Pasta.

Brianna W.

Yelp
Went to Fannys for dinner on a Tuesday and had an incredible time! The space is BEAUTIFUL. There was live music, which was nice. We got the Fanny's Feast and it was the best decision. It came with garlic bread, salad, pasta, short rib, sausage, and meatballs as well as whipped ricotta. There were also zeppoles included for dessert. The food was to die for - absolutely incredible. For drinks, we got an old fashioned, Two Yutes, and Never Go Against the Family. We even got complementary shots! Everything was so tasty and the presentation was beautiful. I can't wait to go back. Our server was great as well - everyone was so helpful!

Scott S.

Yelp
We went to try Fanny's with friends. Loud and boisterous with good food. The only problem is service. Our servers consistently put the wrong food in front of the wrong person. This is a pain point for me because it is service 101. We had to chase them down for water refills as well. The timing of the dishes was also not very good. That being said drinks were good and the food is quite good. If they can improve the service it would be a better rating. The fig old fashioned was excellent. We ordered the swordfish which was well received, baked clams ( fantastic), tuna Crudo, spinach salad, chicken park and the Rabbit Alla Liguere which was outstanding. So in short food 4 service 2.0

Yelp
Fanny's is a welcome addition to the culinary landscape of Bloomfield. The decor is very chic. It gives a NYC vibe. The bar is small, but really attractive. The whole place feels special. The staff is fantastic. From the hostess, to the servers, to the runners- everyone was warm, friendly and professional. We ordered Crostone with Sausage and Peppers, Fanny's Chopped Salad, Pork Chop Milanese, Red Snapper with Clam Escabeche, Tiramisu Ice Cream Cake, and Zeppoles. The Crostone was really delicious. The toasted bread was absolutely perfect, and the topping was a great mix. The Salad was just okay. I wasn't a big fan of the dressing. It was very heavy on the balsamic vinegar. The Pork Chop is massive. My husband couldn't finish it and that's unusual for him. It was beautifully crispy and extremely tender. The Red Snapper was cooked to perfection. I was hoping for more clam flavor, but I think they were canned so they didn't give that briny punch. Dessert was a real showstopper! The Tiramisu cake was the best dessert I've had in quite awhile. Trust me, it is a must order! The Zeppoles were nice and light. I think they would benefit from some berry compote on the side. I was really delighted with Fanny's. It's nice to have an Italian restaurant doing something that feels new and interesting. I look forward to returning to try more dishes!

Yelp
The service at Fanny's was impeccable, the food was amazing. I especially loved the eggplant parm and the vodka pasta. Fantastic vibes and great service all around. 10/10 recommend!

Yelp

All the dishes we ordered tasted wonderful and yummy, and exactly how you would expect it to be. Their options from the Substantials Menu are really substantial. The Pork Chops was one of the biggest I have seen, and all the Pasta options were perfectly cooked and seasoned. They have some fresh new Cocktails as well

Yelp
My God I am in love with this place!. The vibe is vibimg first of all. It's like a hug here. Our waitress was attentive and open. The drinks were spot on. Now the food. I had the pork chop, which was the size of the state of New Jersey. But it tasted amazing and was the perfect crunch factor. The eggplant park was so tender and the gnocchi were as soft as clouds. Definitely will be back here

Carol G.

Yelp
Best Chicken Marsala I've ever had! Friendly servers who went above and beyond. Great night!

Mimi V.

Yelp
Food was GREAT and the service was absolutely stellar. Love the look of the place, great for date night or night out with friends. We had focaccia, calamari, Franny's house salad, chicken parm, chicken Marsala and flounder. All winners. Drinks outstanding. The olive oil cake was lovely but not like Maialino's which I love. I would definitely return, did not disappoint!

Alison B.

Yelp
Our first time here and we loved it. Ordered Fanny's chopped salad with their Very Very good dressing (that's what it is actually called) and it was excellent, Wagu meatballs with polenta, (excellent) and the Eggplant Parm which was also excellent and not greasy. Don't forget to get an order of Focaccia that comes with the seasoned butter (scrumptious). Service was extremely friendly and also excellent. WE WILL BE BACK !

Steve T.

Yelp
Second time at Fanny's, and had many of the same problems. Not much flavor to the whipped ricotta crostones or the chicken parm. And the zeppoles for dessert came out raw in the center, had to send those back. The temperature in the restaurant varied from freezing cold to burning hot, the same problem they had when we came not long after they opened last year.

Katie K.

Yelp
Fanny's has a sexy and beautiful interior, but the food was disappointing. Both the shrimp scampi and pasta vodka tasted the same with watered-down sauces. The pasta was undercooked and not al dente. It may be a better choice for drinks rather than dining.

Angel G.

Yelp
I went to Fanny's and actually enjoyed the place but after having been charged 4 times for the same bill, I called and left several messages. After I got no return phone call, I called during business hours and twice left my name, phone number and a brief message about the situation that I was promised was going to be passed on to a manager because miraculously, a manager was never there when I called. This is infuriating and now I will have to dispute with my CC company which could take months. I don't want a refund on what I spent, I want the money that they erroneously took from my account. Is it too much to ask?

Sha L.

Yelp
The food is amazing. The service is amazing. The ambiance is amazing. Prricing is excellent. This review is way over due. We came on a Friday night and sat at the bar and ordered: - Crab salad. We have ordered it every single time we've been here. It is very fresh and delicious. - Eggplant parm. My wife ordered it, which puzzled me as she is a meat lover... she raved about it. - Heritage pork chop milanese. It's a legit pork chop, but it's so nicely done. Classy. - Cannelloni. This is definitely a dish to come back for! You NEED to dip a piece or the pork chop in the Cannelloni sauce. Thank me later. We will 100% come back here for the food. But it really helps that the place is beautiful and the staff is so nice and fun. Don't let the "Italian Restaurant" stereotype fool you. This place is fire!

Julie Z.

Yelp
The restaurant and bar are beautifully and uniquely decorated- very cool vibe. The staff is attentive and meticulous. The cocktails are creative and the food is delicious. I think I have a new favorite restaurant.

G B.

Yelp
The restaurant was very cute, clean, and cozy. Music was definitely a little loud. Service was friendly. Food was just okay though. We had the calamari which was regular and nothing exciting. We also had the burrata which was lacking flavor. It also didn't come with bread which was odd, so we had to order focaccia separately which was an additional charge. Focaccia was nice. It came with some sort of butter which was not listed on the menu. The Caesar salad was simple but definitely underwhelming. Gave almost Panera Bread vibes. We were overall a little bored with our appetizer choices, so we didn't end up ordering dinner. Overall an okay experience when it came to the food. So we won't be going back anytime soon.

Zac C.

Yelp
Run, don't walk...but do make a reservation! Seriously, one of the best dining experiences I've ever had. Called on a Friday evening for a last-minute reservation and from the moment we walked in the door, the staff could not have been more incredible. The hostesses were super accommodating and efficient, the bartenders are slinging delicious and innovative cocktails, the servers are buzzing around a very busy restaurant making sure every water glass is topped off and every dish is coming out of the kitchen is piping hot. Rarely can this be said, but there's not one criticism I can think of for our experience tonight. From beginning to end, the Fanny's crew is putting in work and firing on all cylinders. Amazing food and drinks, beautiful space with a modern and classy aesthetic, absolute top-shelf music selection (loud enough to set the vibe, not so loud that you have to yell at your dinner companions...a concept many NJ restaurants have yet to grasp lol). Cannot wait to go back and try some other cocktails and dishes. To the Fanny's management and staff, don't change a thing. In your short time being open, you have nailed what it means to offer next level operations and dining experience!

Gabriela L.

Yelp
Absolutely delicious food and drink. You must try the baked clams, ricotta crostone, all of the pastas, the steak and honestly cannot wait to go back to try more. Tons of flavor and great portions. The bartender was excellent and made us some shots for celebrating a birthday and all cocktails were very well balanced. Service was spot on and our server was very nice and the perfect amount of attentive. We didn't have to ask for anything! The ambience of the restaurant is also very beautiful - cannot wait to host a private event there one day! Thank you for making my wife's birthday special!

Kelly F.

Yelp
Third time we came here, we look foward to coming now, we really enjoy all of the food and flavors they are on point! Good vibes, good energy!! If you love Italian with old world flavors and a new twist, this is your spot!!

Valerie Y.

Yelp
First time here and was really impressed!! Very cool atmosphere beautifully decorated restaurant. Busy for 6:30 on a Saturday night. Service was extremely attentive and friendly. Had probably the best chicken marsala I've ever had and I've had many over the years. My husband had the pork chop that was absolutely melt in your mouth, outstanding!! We started with the meatballs which were very flavorful and just enough for two people. We will definitely be back.

Manan S.

Yelp
Franny's! What a fantastic experience! Amazing hospitality and service. Shout out to Tom who made us feel more than special and made us feel at home. Food was on point and delicious. Fresh pasta's and unique appetizers. Ambience was cozy and warm. This is our new go to Italian place in Montclair.

Natalie C.

Yelp
Wow, this place blew me away. The beer and wine list had nice selections (i went for the Prosecco rosé). Every menu item we tried was incredible - shrimp arancini, broccolini with whipped ricotta, cannelini ravioli (my personal fave), chicken Marsala, and tiramisu ice cream cake. The service was really accommodating without being suffocating. This restaurant will 100% be in our regular rotation - I am already craving that ravioli again!

Andrea S.

Yelp
Tried this place last night Friday. Loved the concept,, we had the wagyu meatballs w the polenta that was outstanding! Polenta was like Something I'd never tasted before! Crunchy & buttery & delicious. I had the scampi for dinner scampi sauce was spot on the shrimp were like rock shrimp- bite sized. I didn't not care for that. No coating no flavor. Should def have had large shrimp possibly butterflied w some flour & browned up for flavor & texture. My BF had the Amacriacana (not sure if spelling) he said it was delicious. Will definitely give it another try but def not on a wknd. Place was so loud I was practically screaming across the table to have a conversation. Over all waiters were attentive & food was good. Just too loud. We didn't get any dessert in ladyfingers but would go back to just try the bakery side of this place.

Hyunjoo L.

Yelp
Such a great place for a little b-day dinner too! Great food, nice vibe, professional waitresses!! Definitely we'll come back!!!

H Z.

Yelp
The food was decent, but the service sucked. The waitress kept coming by to ask if we wanted another round of drinks when we weren't even finished with ours, as she was trying to rack up the bill. Meanwhile, our water was empty and not refilled nor did she ask if we needed anything after we got our food?! I know times are hard during this economic state but it left a bad taste.. think her name was Gabby. Also, there is a 3.5$ service fee for using credit card just fyi. Needless to say, will NOT be back. Food is one thing but atmosphere and experience is another, and it did not pass the vibe check.

Grace P.

Yelp
Food - Focaccia bread is to die for. Humongous and fluffy and flavorful. A fantastic "snack" to start off with. Tuna crudo was a can't miss dish for us. Absolutely delightful, and pictured! Flavorful, fresh, and beautiful! Both pasta dishes tried were delicious. The veal pasta was fresh, filling, and flavorful. The vodka was an amazing, classic, and well done dish. Servings are filling as they should be so come with an empty stomach! Drinks - only tried one but it was divine! Definitely want to come back and test out more of the cocktails. Ambiance - beautiful, classy interior with music that was not loud or obnoxious. Could easily have a conversation and bop your head along. Service - fantastic, attentive. Truly feels like a family owned establishment where you know everyone who works there. Managers/owners came over to say hello and ask how everything was. Great touch that wrapped up a great evening here. Can't wait to come back with more room for dessert!

Laura T.

Yelp
Went around 5:15 on a Mon night. It was not busy. Very nice dining room with very comfortable chairs and the service was very good. Overall, we had a nice time but food needs a couple of tweaks to make the experience even better. We started with the harissa carrots as an app. Carrots were alittle undercooked and while we were warned that this is a spicy dish, I would recommend the restaurant pull back on the harissa. Carrots and harissa are a nice flavor combo but you could only taste the harissa. I had the Heritage pork chop milanese and my husband had the vodka parm which is really a chicken parm. He loved it and said it reminded him of the chicken parm at Emilio's in NY. His only recommendation would be to ramp up the tomato flavor on the red sauce. Chicken, breading, cheese were all spot on. Now to the Heritage pork chop milanese. Yes, it's huge and looked very impressive on the plate. It looks to be a "on the bone" double cut that they butterfly then pound thin. Half of mine was so thin that it was overcooked, the ok half was very chewy. Since the pounded meat takes up the whole plate, the salad is piled on top of the meat and makes the breading soggy. I recommend the chef relook at this dish. Heritage pork should be tender and very tasty but this recipe does not play to heritage pork strengths and was very unsatisfying. I would not order this again in it's current form. We had zeppoles for dessert and they were very light, puffy and hot. Not sure that they were better than the St Ann's festival zeppoles in Hoboken but they are pretty good and you won't be disappointed. Overall, this restaurant has alot of potential. I hope the owners/chef's keep improving and perfecting their dishes. I would come back.

Yelp
Everything was delicious... cosmo cocktail, basil pesto arancini, wagyu meatballs, braised short rib ravioli, vodka parm, limoncello cheesecake. Great new Italian spot!

Yelp
Great decor, flavorful food and wonderful service! There was not one dish we felt iffy about and the concept of the bakery/restaurant duo is executed so well. Nothing bums out more than a beautiful/modern space with mediocre food.. so my friend and I were pleasantly surprised! Would definitely recommend, and we will be back in the future!

Yelp
I had my daughter's bridal shower at Fannys over the weekend. It's a beautiful space lots of room. The food was amazing the guests were all commenting on how good it was! The service was also amazing especially Eric who was always checking in to see if we needed anything and making sure the bride was good! We were very happy we picked Fanny's!!

Yelp
Went on a Thursday night with no reservations and got seated right away. The service and ambiance were great! Apps were a 10/10. The cocktail and main entrees were okay. I got the pasta w/ vodka sauce and it wasn't great. I do want to try again but might just stick with just apps and drinks next time.

Yelp
Had a bad experience. Left 2 messages for the manager. Never a call back. Horrible place. Will never go back

Yelp
I really wanted to love this place ... but we were really disappointed. Service was terrible. From the time we sat down we waited to get water, waited for someone to come say hi and take our drink order. No one cleared our app plates and then meals came and me and my friend stacked our own dishes so server could put down entrees. They never refilled our water. Waiting for check at end of night was torture (we watched the wait staff laughing and talking while we were waiting ). The food was not good. Both of us agreed. Neither of finished. The place/ambiance is awesome. So there's that. And they have a liquor license.

Yelp
A good vibe and amazing drinks! Service was awesome! I also love that they have a Jazz band on certain nights! Will be back for sure!

Yelp
We came on a Sunday at 5:00pm. There was only one waitress at the time so there was a bit of a wait once other patrons arrived. It's a definitely a beautiful space for dinner, but the bar is right in the dining area so those conversations took over the space. The food is overall good, but not the best Italian food I've ever had. The portions were on the smaller side and the chicken parm and eggplant parm dishes don't come with sides - there's no option to order pasta as an accompaniment.
