Fantastic Subs

The food here is consistently great. I usually go for their subs or shawarma, but most items on the menu are at least a 8/10. Orders typically take about 15–20 minutes, which is reasonable. The staff are friendly and the seating area is decent—comfortable enough to enjoy your meal. I definitely recommend this place.

NY Gyro Mix was the best I've ever eaten when it comes to gyro's. Full flavor, large portions, flat or delicious! Well kept establishment. Very clean. The best!!!

Best shawarma and variety. My go to in Hamtramck. Better than of the better known shawarma places in town right, next door to them. The name doesn’t give the place justice. Generic name for an amazing spot.

I love me some fantastic subs!!! My favorite the gyro bowls and steak quesadillas!!! I have been coming here for around 10 years of living in Hamtramck and now that I moved it’s the first place I go when I’m back! Love love love!! Highly recommended!

Fantastic Subs is one of my favorite spots to eat. The food is always fresh, full of flavor, and made just how you like it. You can tell they care about quality, and every bite tastes amazing. The customer service has really gotten better over time, they greet you with a smile and treat you with respect. The workers are super friendly, patient, and always make sure you’re happy with your order. You can count on them to give you the best service every time you go.

I absolutely love Fantastic Subs. Their Philly subs are always hot, fresh, and loaded with flavor—perfectly grilled and seasoned just right. You can really tell they take pride in what they serve. And don’t even get me started on the chili cheese fries—they’re always crispy, cheesy, and full of flavor. Easily one of my go-to comfort meals. Great food, fast service, and good vibes every time I stop in!

Popped in for a late night bite, Philly cheesesteak was great. Bread was really good, perfectly toasted. Nice little side of some sort of spicy mayo situation too that brought it all together.

Ask for them to go easy on the mayo and the result was a soup of mayo with beef patties floating around in it. Apparently, in some countries “easy on the mayo” means two cups. My burger tasted like they spilled the whole container of salt on it and the bacon was undercooked. Two burgers were $25.

Maybe it should be called pretty good Subs instead of fantastic. The flavor of the sub was actually pretty good. The bread, was really nicely toasted. As far as those two things go, I have no complaints. However, as you can see from the pictures there's barely any meat filling. It definitely is nothing like what is pictured on their menu or website. The cake, which was by the cheesecake, was anything but tasty. I found it to be very oily, especially the cream portion. It also did not taste like it it was very fresh. It was more like something store-bought and left on display. The baklava was very tasty. Each piece was a dollar. There is no problem with parking on the attached lot. The service was good. It could have been a little faster, but there was limited staff.. All in all, it was not a bad experience.

Food is crazy good. Amazing flavor. The service is good too. Place is cleaned frequently and there is lots of seating. Nicely lit dining area. Typical of a sandwich shop.

Me and my sister got take out last week or so. They were busy.. I've been here before when it was mocha subs but I'm pretty sure it's the same owner and workers. It's more of a hang out spot

They never double check your order. I ordered a combo that supposed to come with fries but they never included it. Their portions are also small. I paid 60 bucks for my order, the least i ask is to make sure everything is there.

got the chicken gyra rice bowl and was surprised with this piece of hair. was very disgusted

Great food, tried their Fantastic Burger and Steak Sub, was impressed. Their food has more flavor than similar restaurants in the area. Mango Lassi was on point!

The Bengali lady answering the calls is sooo rudeee!!!!! She hung up on me twice ! Other then tht the food is bombbbb!!!
