First, let me start by saying I don't like to give small businesses low reviews. I understand the difficulties of running one and don't want to negate anyone's hard work. This place has a lot of potential, however, I have to give this a low rating due to the terrible customer service. I came in in the middle of the day, and was the only customer. What I presume to be the owner and his wife (?) barely acknowledged me, and were busy packaging product and doing inventory. A little unprofessional to be doing it out in the open during business hours, but whatever. I wouldn't have cared that much if the staff were more friendly and welcoming. The woman behind the counter begrudgingly handed me a menu, took my order, then continued doing inventory or packaging in the kitchen. Two words were barely exchanged. I asked for a wine recco based on the meats I ordered, and her response was "I don't know. What do you like?" Like huh? You own a wine business. You would think that for one customer in the entire place they might be a bit more hospitable, but they acted like they couldn't be bothered. I felt like I was there during closing time when they were wrapping up. Not sure if it was an off day, but due to the poor interaction and lack of professionalism I won't be going back. The wine selection seemed nice and I want to support small businesses in the area, but they should be a bit more gracious to those patronizing their business.
