What a great bottle shop/wine bar! Great list by the glass, cheap corkage to take one off the wall, food was excellent, great music and vibes, and the owners on hand to answer any questions. They have great knowledge without being pretentious. Must stop for us every time we come back to Phoenix!

What a great little wine bar! Retail wine at great prices or purchase and drink there for a $10 corkage fee. Food was good, service was great. It’s small but very unique and funky vibe that I loved.

Far Away Wine & Provisions is a hidden gem, intimate, relaxed, and perfect for a chill night out or a quiet date. The wine selection is excellent and ever-changing, with plenty of options by the glass or bottle, and the small-plate menu complements it perfectly. The vibe is friendly and unpretentious, the owners are welcoming and passionate about wine, and the atmosphere feels more like a cozy living room than a bar. Great food, great wine, and a warm, local feel, I’ll definitely be back.

When I checked this out with my friends, we got a few bottles of wine, played some card games, and snacked on olives, meat and cheeses, and I had the salmon salad which was scrumptious. It's a really small, tight space, but cozy and inviting at the same time. Owners were super friendly and knowledgeable with their recommendations.

One of the best wine bar gems in Phoenix. Pat and Chris both are incredibly knowledgeable and incredibly cool. Great tunes and a wonderful selection of wine both behind the bar and retail- and you'll find most of the industry spending their free time here, so you know it's legit. Think Cheers- if it was a little punk rock and classy all at the same time.

What an adorable hidden gem in Arcadia! My husband and I rode our bikes to this spot and were so pleasantly surprised with our experience. The wine selection is phenomenal and there are plenty of great beers available too. We also ordered a meat and cheese tray and were not disappointed by the portion or the presentation. I was thrilled with the reasonable prices too, since wine bars tend to be on the pricier side in this neighborhood. Chris and Pat were so friendly and knowledgeable about the wines. Everything from the music to the decor was so inviting and clearly a reflection of the owners. Very well thought out space. Perfect spot for a Happy Hour drink ($5 wines!!) or a date night. We will definitely be back! Note: There is no bike rack yet, but they are working on it!

Knowledgeable, fun and easy going would be my simple description of this newer neighborhood wine stop that is anything but simple. Both in house drinking as well Togo wine selection for any range of connoisseur. Lite bites include salmon deviled eggs, tomatoe soup, charcuterie board with selection options and a few others that I'm sure are tasty but I have yet to try. -Cheers

This place is a hidden gem! Wonderful selection of interesting wines (and a few beers), and a great atmosphere. The bar foods are prepared in house and are really good. There's a bar area and also a kind of hangout space in the front.

Really cool hidden gem in Arcadia! It is a smaller space so rather limited seating, but the few times I've visited been lucky enough to snag the little couch area to just hang out and sip on wines. They stock a lot of unique and international wines at varying and approachable price points. They also have a fun collection of games to play and a nice menu of snacks and sandwich items. The staff is very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful with answering questions and offering recommendations.

Every once in awhile you find a place that becomes a part of your soul, and Far Away Wine & Provisions has done just that! Chris and Pat have created something truly special. From the warm and inviting atmosphere, to the great care and dedication, that goes into creating a special experience, this bar feels like home! Went here on a recommendation from one of the owners family. What a great hidden gem. We really enjoyed the vibe and selection. We had the charcuterie board, along with deviled eggs and we let them surprise us with a beverage. They did not disappoint. Such a friendly place with so much to offer. Worth a try if you're in the area or not. Take a little trip, order, and hang out.

Have been going to Far Away for sometime now. Food and service consistently exceed expectations (Pat is amazing). Owners/ staff are very knowledgeable and can always point me in the correct direction for purchasing wine bottles. The ambiance is cozy and cool. Please do yourself a favor and visit this bar. You will not have any regrets (maybe a hangover but that's not their fault).

I liked our neighborhood already, and then Far Away opened up. Now I love our neighborhood. There's wine! There's provisions! Don't like wine or provisions? There's also beer! And sex, drugs, and rock and roll! (Okay, actually just the music. But it's really good music, so you won't even miss the sex and drugs.) If I could wish a neighborhood wine bar into existence, it would be this place.

Chris and Pat were great and made the best recommendations for food and wine! We popped in on a whim and told them what type of food and wine we like and they made the best recommendations. We started off with the devil eggs, meatballs, and CHIVE TALKING (definitely a must have), then Had the Bahn Mi and Muffaletta (amazing!). For wine we started off in the Bugey region then went to Amphora, Spain. Both were perfect! 10/10 would recommend

I think I just found my new hangout. Very friendly owners who also know their wine. Huge collection of stuff you won't find anywhere else. They give you samples to taste before committing to a pour at the bar.

Simply awesome! A simple, intimate wine bar, which offers an incredibly diverse and sophisticated wine selection, interesting small bites, and a wonderful ambiance. If you're looking for a "hipster" spot to crash while binge drinking on a Friday night, THIS is NOT the place. BUT, if you're a wine connoisseur, who enjoys sophisticated food, great conversation, and eclectic music, this place is for you.

I just love this place! We happened upon it because we take our dog to Dogtopia for daycare but it is a bar and bottle shop that truly feels like a part of a neighborhood. This is one of the only places I've ever gone where I immediately thought, "I want to be a regular here!" The owners are wonderful, there's always great music playing, the couch is comfortable... I could go on, but really you should just try it!

First, let me start by saying I don't like to give small businesses low reviews. I understand the difficulties of running one and don't want to negate anyone's hard work. This place has a lot of potential, however, I have to give this a low rating due to the terrible customer service. I came in in the middle of the day, and was the only customer. What I presume to be the owner and his wife (?) barely acknowledged me, and were busy packaging product and doing inventory. A little unprofessional to be doing it out in the open during business hours, but whatever. I wouldn't have cared that much if the staff were more friendly and welcoming. The woman behind the counter begrudgingly handed me a menu, took my order, then continued doing inventory or packaging in the kitchen. Two words were barely exchanged. I asked for a wine recco based on the meats I ordered, and her response was "I don't know. What do you like?" Like huh? You own a wine business. You would think that for one customer in the entire place they might be a bit more hospitable, but they acted like they couldn't be bothered. I felt like I was there during closing time when they were wrapping up. Not sure if it was an off day, but due to the poor interaction and lack of professionalism I won't be going back. The wine selection seemed nice and I want to support small businesses in the area, but they should be a bit more gracious to those patronizing their business.

Best afternoon ever. Great binyl. Great wine (obviously!). Great people to chat with. I mistakenly forgot to have my order adjusted slughtly for an allergy, and while I assured the folks there it was really no big deal and completely my fault, they brought an altered dish (even tho i was easting the original dish...yes its that goo). Fantastic service. Fantastic place.

I can't think of a better extension of my dream basement bar. I love the cozy nostalgia of this place and the staff is brilliant and knowledgeable about music, wine and off the wall odd ball quips. The wine and independent beer selection is decadent! It's a must experience venue. See ya there :).

Awesome! The atmosphere is quaint and comfortable. There are already neighborhood regulars I see each time I'm there. The menu is small but interesting and they vary it with unique dishes. This place rocks! One of the best wine selections I have seen. Concentrating on small quality producers that you won't see at your big box stores. I highly suggest trying one of their sandwiches such as the Jamon. Great value across the board on wine and food.

They are a great wine bar put together by 2 hard working people who have been in the business forever - the place is friendly and lively and they know what they are doing - don't let people who can't read parking signs ruin it for them - they rock it and the wine shop is great for the neighborhood - if you're not shopping there don't park in their space - learn to read - 5 STARS!!!!

Cool! Small intimate wine bar with extensive wine offerings, especially geeky obscure stuff to try. The meatball small plate was unbelievably good - and out of a kitchen the size of my first car:) Vinyl records are on display, sending me right back to my late teens where I'd sit crossed legged for hours, flipping through someone's record collection. Owners Pat and Chris are fully engaged and charming and real - complete opposite of corporate chain focus grouped service. The kind of place that makes me feel like a live in a city, not just a tourist destination.
