I ordered through door dash today. When I showed up to pick it up the doors were locked. There was no number on Google to call but there was one on door dash. Whatever number provided answered said that wasn't the restaurant apparently. So I tried to cancel my order because I didn't want to get ripped off. WHAT'S GOING ON

I LOVE this place the food is bomb and always is bomb! This isn’t the first time though that we have arrived for food when it said the store was open and it has been closed. We arrive with more than enough time till close and online it says open but when you arrive it’s closed. I don’t understand. I love it here but all I ask if that they get the hours more in control. Thank you for your time.

Google
Consistently good quality food with a bang for the buck. The spam sliders are perfectly cooked, wings are crisp and not greasy, fries are seasoned evenly! My husband and I have only ordered delivery and have never had a single complaint. Definitely a new favorite!

Google
The food is really really good. I tried them once before way way before my elite years and I thought he flavors were too sweet and didn’t connect with my Korean palate which tends to lean way over on the spicy side. They were being hyped quite a bit back then too when they just opened so maybe my expectations were on the high side. On this trip, the sweet notes are well balanced with the savory side and hit the spot right away and made me think why didn’t I give this place another try? I tried the Joint fried rice and spicy salt calamari. The fried rice has bulgogi which is supposed to be a little sweet and as far as I can tell, was the only sweetness in the dish which had a fried egg and scallions and added to the savory side. My fave today was the spicy salty calamari though. Who doesn’t love anything fried, but when it has a light crispy batter that’s full of flavor, it’s just so much better. The dipping sauce was on the sweet side as well, but nothing a little (or a lot) of sriracha can’t fix :( Spicy makes the beer taste better too. I’ll have to make the trip back for some wings that looked pretty awesome. Maybe with a hot link or two.

Google
Grubhub made a mistake and allowed me to schedule an order before they were open. Even though they were closed, the staff still helped me out and made my order when I went to pickup. Sorry didn't get their name, but whoever helped me out on 4/21/2025 @ 2:45PM. Much appreciated!

Google
I’m so glad we tried this unique little place! Everything on the menu is delicious. The joint fried rice is basically kimchi fried rice (minus the kimchi) with bulgogi, which I’d highly recommend. The fries are tasty and so are the deserts. When we went, they weren’t very busy considering it was the weekend, so go out and support this place!

Google
Great place for a delicious and totally original bite! Will certainly go back. It wasn’t busy at all, which surprises me because it seems like the kind of place that would be packed on a Saturday night. Loved the vibe, loved the service!

Google
Service was great. Food was served hot.. Employees are knowledgeable of The menu and can assist. I received my fries 15 minutes beforehand as I Had to wait a while for my 12 piece…. They said it was delicious.!!!

Yelp
Far East Joint is in the Lakes plaza! You order first before seating, and they will bring your order to the table. I saw people sit and eat, but there were also a lot of people ordering to go. The Joint Burrito is one of my Top 3 burritos in the area. It is packed full with fried rice and bulgogi, each bite was perfect. This is a MUST order!

Yelp
Located right across the plaza from the Regal Edwards Theater at The Lakes Mall, this chicken shop was clean, however we felt that the food and service were just okay. FOOD: Nothing was bad, but nothing "wowed" us either. First, we ordered the Spicy Tuna Nachos ($12.95) appetizer, which was actually served last (not sure why restaurants don't understand the concept of an appetizer...it's supposed to come pre-meal). We tried the 12-piece Wings ($17.95), splitting the flavors between Lemon Pepper and Garlic Soy (flavors weren't very bold), as well as the Chicken Katsu Curry Bowl ($12.95), which I thought was a little dense/heavy. We also ordered both bottled and draft beers, and I thought that they could have been served much colder. Overall, it was only okay, and we decided that we probably wouldn't go out of our way to return.

Yelp
Wow, first time coming to this place. All I can say is "WOW":):) Me and my wife tried their chicken burrito and beef burrito:) Tried them Garlic Parmesan and Lemon Pepper chicken wings was freakin delicious:):) it has their own distinctive flavor taste of them wings. Never tasted anything like it before:):) But their burritos is in a different level of something else that is very flavorful:) I'm just speechless. Service was amazing and the place is very clean. Bringing the kids with us soon.

Yelp
Love coming here for some quick KBBQ! It's located at the "Lakes Mall" in the same plaza as the Edwards theater. The beef bulgogi bowl is my go to! Along with pairing it with a side of joint fries, joint tacos or the Lettuce wrapped egg rolls! Mmmm! The food here takes about 15 min -25 min depending on how busy it is. We come usually around 6:30pm which is a good time but if you come on the weekend be prepared to wait a bit longer! They have a great 2 for $5 domestic beer special! And is good for a quick lunch or dinner! It's very laid back and chill.

Tina H.

Yelp
Chicken wings were 10/10! Huge, juicy and delicious. Also got the joint fries which were on the salty side. Order at the front and they'll bring to your table. The only downside was the plaza was very very dead, but maybe because it was a Thursday afternoon.

Lyna N.

Yelp
I hope this place never leaves the The Lakes plaza... it's one of the staples keeping it alive and for many it's an engrained part of growing up in the area. Going for a movie then out to eat here... to the mall, after school, etc. They have been doing fusion since before fusion was a thing! My favorites are the Joint Fries, Carne Asada Fries, and Joint Fried Rice. Service is always fast and honestly I don't mind the rising prices... you gotta do what you gotta do to stay in business!

Katie C.

Yelp
i would give this place a 4.5-5 stars! the staff is super friendly and helpful. we got the onion rings, joint fries, and beef bowl. onion rings - really crispy! my niece loved it and it's not too much batter compared to the onions. joint fries - flavorful; bulgogi, cheese, with a hint of minced kimchi and green onions. it was the perfect shareable amount. the balance between the bulgogi and fries were good. beef bowl- bulgogi with rice and salad. the salad was more spinach with some croutons. the bulgogi was really flavorful and rice was decent. this makes you full! the only thing was that the music was super loud so i had to talk in the other person's ears. the joint fries were delicious, just a bit too saucy that made it soggy quick. i wanted more crispier fries with some sauce, perhaps sauce on the side(?)

Yelp
Decided to come check this out since I was in the area. There are plenty of tables on the inside but their AC wasn't working. They DID have these high powered fans running but it was still hot in this 90 degree weather. Cashier was friendly and attentive. Checked in w/ us halfway through our meal. Ordered the Joint Tacos and Joint fries. The fries were decent. I was expecting a little bit more for the portion size from all the pictures I've seen online. It seemed smaller than the previous. The flavor was good but a little too sweet and salty. The tacos had the same flavor, however whatever cut they used on the meat made it very chewy. I doubt I'd give this place another try, especially with so many other choices in the area. Maybe I just tried the wrong things. But it's in a good area right outside the theater.

Matt S.

Yelp
Came here for dinner on a Wednesday night. I almost decided to turn around and go somewhere else when I found out that the ac was broken, but my sister and niece didn't mind it so we stayed. We ordered the calamari, joint fried rice, carne asada fries, and joint burrito. The food took a while to come out, maybe 20mins or so? I believe there was only one cook working at the time so we figured they were doing the best they could. The food came out and we went in! The carne asada fries were bomb! The asada had great flavor. The calamari was good too, perfectly cooked. The joint burrito was huge! It was packed and super filling. I was only able to eat half. The joint fried rice tasted like the burrito, just deconstructed. I would've given this place 5 stars, but not having ac was killer. Also, my sister and I don't handle spicy food well, so we asked to have the kimchi removed. It was removed on the burrito, but the burrito was spicier than anything else we ordered. Spicy + no ac = I was sweating bullets lol besides that I enjoyed my time If you'd like to see more of my food content, please follow my ig: @_mattyeats

Yelp
Far East Joint, nestled in West Covina, is a haven for Asian fusion cuisine enthusiasts seeking a spacious, sports-friendly dining spot. With ample seating and multiple TVs, it's an ideal choice for catching your favorite team in action. Very family friendly. Their Joint burger, Joint Fried Rice + Egg, and chicken wings (Lemon Pepper and Joint Wings) are my go-to favorites, leaving me consistently craving more. Each bite is a delightful temptation that's hard to resist. The restaurant boasts a clean, inviting environment accommodating both small and large parties comfortably. During my visit, the staff displayed a remarkable sense of unity, akin to a dedicated family. I had the pleasure of interacting with Sheridan, the General Manager, whose enthusiasm and kindness added an extra layer of warmth to the experience. Conveniently situated near the Edwards Theatre, the restaurant offers plentiful parking within the center, ensuring ease of access. Far East Joint is a small, family-owned gem priding itself on exceptional cuisine and a welcoming atmosphere. It's a spot worth visiting to support local businesses dedicated to offering great food and heartfelt service. Also keep in mind that you can order for take out and for catering ahead of time. The fried rice will be a hit at any party.

Yelp
This place did not disappoint. We came here to meet up with some friends to have some wings & some good food & that's what we did. This a great place to hang out & have drinks too. It's right next to the movie theaters so you can eat here right after watching a movie. We ordered all kinds of food. You can't go wrong with anything that has "Joint" in front of it!!! Lol we ordered the Joint Fries, Joint Burrito, Joint Fried Rice, Join Tacos & they were all good. The chicken wings were pretty darn good!!! I like them dry so I can dip them in the sauces. We also ordered bowls & they were all delish! I actually loved the spicy tuna nachos. I would definitely come back because I need to try me some of these burgers that they have to offer & other things on the menu. Lol Service was great & food was nice & hot! Great place to hang out!

Yelp
Came here with a group that recommended that they wanted to try this place. It's been quite a few years since my last review. Surprised that this place is still around! Didn't notice that we had been here years ago until I pressed to write a review. So this would be an "updated" review. Ordered to go with our group. We waited for OVER AN HOUR for the food. There was only one person in front of us, and we only ordered these 5 items (not including the 4 thai tea drinks which came out 15-20 min) We tried the following items: Frisco Melt Burger (burgers come with a side of fries) we asked for no salt and the fries we got had salt on them even though the box says no salt. It was downhill from here. They also look like they put a few pieces in the box and was not full, basically looked like someone ate some...fries were not crispy and soggy. It was super overcooked to the point where it was super well done and super dry. The only thing that was good was the bacon, it was surprisingly crispy. The burger was mediocre. In comparison the salmon burger to go box, it was uneven. It looked like a full set of fries as a side too so they def got more fries??? Ridiculous. Curry fries - literally fries with curry poured over it. The curry wasn't even hot, it was lukewarm. Carne Asada Fries - tried it immediately right when we got the order. The fries weren't crispy and the carne asada tasted like it was reheated, quality of the meat wasn't that great, it was also unevenly seasoned/slightly salty. Very much like scraps thrown together. Overcooked. Cheese that is drizzled on top tastes like the gross melted canned cheese. Salmon burger - just plain dry and overcooked, not great. A set of 12 boneless wings - they were just very much crispy battered popcorn chicken like. Not much chicken but mostly crispy batter. Surprisingly it wasn't salty. But they also weren't amazing tasting either. Thai tea - too sweet and milky. 80% of the cup is basically milk/half & half. They also didn't filter it well and there's black tea bit grains in it. I don't understand how terrible it was, and how nothing came out hot considering we literally waited over an hour and when the food comes out it isn't hot???? We noticed that the to go boxes are SMALLER in side and depth for the fries also in comparison to if you order a burger... They accept credit cards but there is a $3.50 "processing fee". They don't specify or tell you up front that there is a fee on top of the taxes, only a little sticker on their payment processing machine. We would not come here again, still not sure why people like this place, it's not amazing, it's not great, quality is low and mediocre...overall I would not recommend this place as it is highly overpriced and def not worth the quality/taste.

Yelp
I absolutely love this place. I'm from Huntington Beach, and I drive here to get the joint Burrito and joint fries. The joint Burrito is HUGE! It's filled with rice, bulgolgi, and kitchen, and they also put a spice sauce inside, which is BOMB. I split this with my wife, and we are both pretty satisfied. Super good. We also got joint fries to share, and it was delicious! The portion on this was surprisingly small. It could have used more fries and more bulgolgi but definitely very tasty and recommended. We also got a beef bowl for the kids. I didn't try it cause I was so full, but it looked great! My kids loved it. The service was outstanding, and the lady was very helpful with taking my order and explaining things to me. I told her I had little ones and they are very picky eaters, so she put everything for the bowl on the side. That was very nice. The little ones loved the beef. Anyways, if you're in this area, definitely try this place. Best bulgolgi Burrito!!

Jennifer H.

Yelp
Great casual spot to grab food and drinks. You order and pay at the counter, and they bring the food out to your table. I recently visited with my friend and we split the joint fries and joint fried rice. The portion size of the joint fries was smaller than expected (and smaller than it looks in pictures), but we still enjoyed the dishes. We liked the taste of both the fries and fried rice - flavorful but not too overwhelming. We didn't get any drinks during this visit but I definitely want to come back as the drinks seem very reasonably priced!

Tammy W.

Yelp
I was really excited to try this place because it looked similar to Cha Cha Chili (RIP) which is a place I used to frequent in Alhambra and sadly went under. Anyway, my experience was not what I'd anticipated- the service was friendly but the AC was not working and it was a million degrees inside with industrial sized fans blowing wind all over the place. I felt bad for the employees who had to endure the uncomfortable working conditions. On top of that, though my burrito tasted good, the inside of it looked horrendous- literally looked like differing sizes of the same colored brown chunks and pieces with sauce poured into with sprinkles of green (green onions?). Use your imagination- what does my description sound like? Will I be eating here again? Not likely.

Qina P.

Yelp
The lemon pepper wings are so good! I can taste the lemon juice! when life give you lemons , eat some lemon pepper wings. The joint fries are not bad too. It was really favorable.

Anna Y.

Yelp
Oh. My. God. Pictures don't do any justice. Everything tastes amazing from the first bite. Service is great, food AMAZING. I love this place and will def come again very soon. This satisfied my heart. We got joint fries and joint tacos. A little too late to take a pic for the fries but look at the tacos DEFINITELY RECOMMEND!!!!

Harumy C.

Yelp
This place should have a health inspector come by immediately. BE WARNED IT'S BURNING UP IN THERE, no AC and you can see the cook and staff sweating! Not to mention this older lady yelling and using profanity to the staff. Same lady was also drinking on the job really openly without a care in the world. To top it off the food is not authentic and doesn't taste very well.

Camille B.

Yelp
We ordered take out on a Sunday evening. I ordered by phone and when I got there it was pretty empty. We ordered the joint rice, the joint burger, the joint burrito, and popcorn chicken. My husband loves the burrito. It was pretty big and he couldn't even finish it. My son loves the burger. The joint rice was good. They had a really good ratio of meat to rice and had a good hint of spice. The popcorn chicken had no flavor at all!!! I definitely feel like it was overpriced. We spent $64.18 which includes a $3 fee for using my credit. I really hate when businesses pass on the cost of doing their business to customers. There was a sign posted at the cash register. I was not told this when I placed my order, so I really didn't have the option to get cash instead. I know times are hard for everybody but this kind of thing makes me want to eat out less.

Ronald I.

Yelp
I can't give us place a 1 star because the food is so good it's worth trying to go to. Full of flavor! Don't try calling to place an order if youre trying to save yourself time waiting 30-40+ minutes for your food, which is about how long it takes. I got put on hold and they didn't actually put me on hold, so I heard everything happening. 5 mins worth of orders and then nearly 13 more mins of nothing. I'm pretty sure I got ignored, I refuse to say I was forgetting about. Completely disrespectful and unacceptable Please hire more people to help them. I remember talking to some workers before saying they're kind of understaffed

Kriztina E.

Yelp
I'm in love with this place. The prices are great. The fries and wings were perfectly crisp on the outside but soft on the inside. The service is out of this world. Multiple employees went out of their way to start conversations with us, even on a bustling Saturday night. It looks a bit dark from the outside, but the inside of the restaurant is cozy and the music is nice. Not too slow that you want to fall asleep but not so loud that it's grating. I wish I lived closer, but I guess that's a good thing or else I'd be here every day. My favorite things were the (very strong) Vietnamese iced coffee and the Carne Asada fries. The garlic parmesan wings were HUGE. A little heavy on the parmesan for my personal taste, but I think that's because I'm more of a garlic girl. Can't wait to come back soon

Ethan N.

Yelp
With great wings comes great responsibility... I've never had wings as good as the wings at Far East Joint. Let me put it like this: they're life-changing. If your life ever flashes before your eyes you will remember your first FEJ wing, your wedding, and the birth of your first child -- and in that order. These wings stick with you. You dream about them. They become a part of your life plans, like... what if I have to move away from Southern California one day? How will I get Far East Joint's wings??? Then you have a nervous breakdown thinking about it and you hope Amazon's has invented some sort of instant shipping by then. My coworkers and I went to FEJ every Friday (at least) when our office was close by. Now it's an hour round trip, and we make that trip at least once a month. We have to. When we pull up, the pooling drool from the half hour of anticipation pours out of the car as we open the doors. Which leads me to the few downsides of FEJ. For one, we made that one-hour round trip recently only to find they were inexplicably closed on a Friday at 12:30 with no explanation. I felt like I'd been stood up by the girl I thought was "the one." My heart still stings from this let down. I felt like I had lost a child. I felt like I found out the Bible wasn't real. I felt like Tom Hanks at the end of Castaway when he found out his wife married some other guy. We wept in the street and questioned the meaning of life together. Also, literally every time we go in, it seems like the staff has been replaced. Amazingly, the chicken remains consistently awesome but why can't they keep employees for more than a couple weeks? I'd say 50% of the time the employees are fairly nice. The other half aren't mean -- they just have that vacant look in their eye like some dazed non-binary goth who works in the electronic music section at Amoeba music and is dead inside. Maybe they just need a little enthusiasm training. They've always been really good about custom requests -- until last time we went in and they told me that the way I have always ordered my wings (combining two flavors) is now impossible. I told them I had always gotten them this way until now. They said it and can never be done in the whole wide world forever and ever, tag, you're it, no tag-backs, not it. Somehow they did the impossible before and somewhere along the way they lost the magic. And maybe this is petty, but they have the tiniest, thinnest, worst napkins ever. They instantly dissolve and crumple up the moment our dirty hand touches them. You wad them up and they become smaller than robin eggs. Combined with their wings which are just the perfect level of messy, I end up using at least 700 of them per meal. Conclusion: you should definitely go to Far East Joint. They need the business. It's so quiet every time I visit I fear every time that one day we will arrive and the place will have closed. This can't happen. If they close, the wings go away and with them a big part of my heart. I'm afraid of who I may become if I no longer have the option of eating FEJ wings in my life. Don't let any of the negative things I have said stop you. They have an amazing menu and the one manager lady with the black hair was always really nice to us, though we haven't seen here around lately. My hope for this review is that it gets more people to go to FEJ and that whoever runs things there reads this and makes some tweaks so that the establishment itself can live up to the high standards of its own amazing food.

Sharmaine A. T.

Yelp
The food here is delicious. I recommend the FAR EAST FRIED RICE . Service..... they are super kind. Ambiance...... it's great!

Rando S.

Yelp
On the way to the movies & stumbled into this incredible gem at the Lakes in West Covina . Great value & incredible Asian fusion food . Owners (Michael & Hazel) were on site to help us with their signature dishes. We will definitely be back !Chicken WingsJoint Burrito

Yvonne W.

Yelp
I ordered through GrubHub and the delivery took twice as long as the initial estimated arrival time suggested. The food was underwhelming considering the reviews I had read previously. By now I realized that I had made a mistake by not sorting based on the "recent reviews". Overall, everything ordered was definitely on the salty side which I understand is subjective. But I do have a saltier taste palate, and this is beyond even what I can tolerate. I was also disappointed that there was barely a smear of kimchi on the taco even though this is supposedly a fusion style. What was left were just soy sauce saturated meat and nothing bulgogi about it. The chicken wings were very salty also, but fried nicely so I gave a 1 star for that. All in all, I've been wanting to try out the place and had high hopes. But after this experience, I'm seriously contemplating about returning, unfortunately.

Imelda D.

Yelp
It was the first time to come here, and we liked the ambiance, service, and specialty of the food. The food is so good. I highly recommend this place. Please come and check it out

Armando S.

Yelp
This is one of the best carne asada fries that I have had, it was a little more on the lemony side but that's how I like it. The onion rings were really good and the Far East Bacon Burger was delicious and milky. The egg was perfect, it was over medium and the bacon was Smokey. The food was overall wonderful. The place gave a very chill vibe and it was very cool in there. The staff were very friendly and kind. We devoured

Joseph K.

Yelp
The service was fine. I got take out. Very kind over the phone as well as in person. The ambience is just a little private owned cafe looking restaurant. The food was very salty. We got joint tacos, joint fries, and joint kimchi fried rice. The description says bulgogi. That's not bulgogi. That's meat doused in sugar and salt. It was very bad. I gave one star for the server. But the food was so salty...not going back. Sorry, no disrespect. Just way too salty. But maybe some people like that ‍

Lisa K.

Yelp
Got the chance to try this place a little bit before they closed. I got a burrito and my man got the bacon grilled cheese sandwich with fries. From reading all the reviews, our expectations were a bit high and the pictures looked great. Neither of us were a fan of the food at all. We took an L tonight. The service was fast and amazing though.

Yajaira B.

Yelp
Totally worth it! The prices are reasonable and the food was scrumptious. What could be better than gold old carne asada fries.... You guess it.., these bullock fries. At first, I didn't think I was going to be able to finish this whole batch, so I ate slowly trying to savor each bit and then, they were all gone. Definitely going back to try the burrito!

Vanessa G.

Yelp
Food Hazard I was told by my sisters that this place was good so drove an hour there around 6pm. We ordered the Carne Asada fries, hot cheetoes fries with bulgogi, and honey Siracha wings with 2 fountain drinks. The fountain drink was out of order. The guacamole and pico de Gallo on the Carne asada fries were spoiled so we returned it and requested a second order of the hot cheetoes fries with bulgogi. Wings tasted okay but were chewy. We received the second order of fries without the bulgogi and they argued that it cost extra to add it. So after arguing we offered to pay extra just for them to deny the payment and give us the bulgogi for free. I am 32 weeks pregnant by the way. I woke up the next morning with a really bad stomache ache and threw up all the food from that place. Costed about $53. Worst first experience ever.

Yesenia E.

Yelp
Amazing customer service. Thai Tea is so yummy The tuna nachos were good as well as the tuna bowl.

Matthew C.

Yelp
Far East Joint isn't as good as I recall it to be. This used to be one of my highly rated restaurants in West Covina. Great fusion food that is greasy, but tasty and comforting. It's always been a bit pricey, but it's worth it. Now in 2022, though, things have changed. I don't know if it's because Korean fried chicken really took off in the past few years, and now I have a whole new standard or palate for Korean-inspired or Korean-adjacent food, but FEJ just ain't hitting the spot like it used to. And the relatively high price tags now just seem much less appealing. Most recently, we got some wings, some tacos, a rice bowl, and a drink. And all together, it was $40 plus a bit. Both the portion and the quality did not reach a satisfactory level for $40 something spent. Flavors were there. But just not jumping out at me anymore. The tacos and the rice bowl were both sufficient. Adequate. I don't think I disliked them. I can only describe them as fine. The wings, however, were dry and the garlic soy flavor were nowhere near the leagues of Bon Chon or any other major Korean fried chicken available on the market nowadays. And this really hurts. Gotta up the game, chefs! These used to be my go-tos. And they will no longer be. Service continues to be lovely. The extra fee for using credit card to pay continues to be irking. I guess, just remember this place as cash only if you can. (But ofc, I never do.) Will return from time to time. (And maybe next time, I'll focus on trying the fries, the burgers, and the sandwiches, so I can broaden my selections here a bit.)

Johnny M.

Yelp
Holy crap! Your lettuce wrapped egg rolls used to be an 11/10... I had them today, and 1/10 is being generous... soggy...the sauce was different...and they were wrapped in thick cabbage... what happened you guys? Everything else is so good I can't give a 1 star, but those egg rolls deserved it. Make them like you did originally again, please!

Leann M.

Yelp
I have made it a habit of coming here before going to the movies next door. I usually order the Joint Tacos and and an adult beverage. I love the tacos even though they can be on the oily side. The wings should also get a mention as they are huge, and the sweet chili sauce rivals any other wing place for spice and flavor. Andrea and the other servers always take good care of me. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is because the adult beverages in stock are often not as advertised on their chalkboard menu and I really hope that improves.

Yelp
Don't get the calamari, it's so bad.. the hot Cheetos fries were okay, but the Cheetos were stale.

Yelp
My wife said this place use to be better but when we went, it was quite underwhelming. We got 2 types of fries, wings and some popcorn chicken. It took a really long time for our food to come out and to be honest, it wasnt even that hot when the food arrived. I like that this plaza has a lot of potential but something needs to be done with this plaza

Yelp
If you're strolling around the area, give this place a try! What we ordered: * Joint Burrito - pretty tasty that has a nice kick to it! Nice sized portion. One of the popular items on the menu * Carne Asada Fries - decently good, I would order again but wished the portion was a bit bigger. * Vietnamese Coffee - WOW! The drink was really good. The coffee taste is balanced with the amount of sweetness they put in it. One of the best Vietnamese coffees I've had Atmosphere: The employees were very friendly, even though the Wi-Fi was down for quite some time they did their best to serve us quickly. Had no big issues and would stop by again.

Yelp
I have always been a fan of fusion food, because it introduces new things in life. I ordered the Joint Burrito, I got to say it was one of the best burrito I ever had. I'll start off with the presentation, the burrito was perfectly wrapped. I didn't believe it when the waitress said we got the best burrito wrapper ever, It was perfectly wrapped with passion. The taste of the burrito was exactly how you expected, with flavor coming in every direction. Lastly the chef n the waitress provided top notch customer service. The food was so good that I ordered the Joint Fried Rice to go. It was two thumbs up for this visit.

Yelp
Looooove this place, love the spicy tuna salad here, love all the food. I haven't had a single miss and I always end up super full from all the food because I wanna order everything. The food can come out a bit slow but I think it's pretty worth lol. I'd come here if you're looking for flavorful, hearty food. I came with my best friend on a rainy day and it was the perfect meal!

Yelp
BEWARE! Instagram trap!. Decided to gamble a bit today since I was craving Korean Fusion type food. Let me do you a favor and stop you from getting the proverbial kick in the butt from a place like this. They spend more money on marketing through social media than they do on making sure their food and presentation is up to par. 1. Bathrooms are gross and not stocked with paper towels. 2. Joint fried rice was overcooked but the egg on top was raw. Served are on a bare metal tray that looked like it hadn't been washed since it was created. Rice had EGG SHELL bits in it too...instant turn off. 3. Floors were sticky and since their AC is busted the place had an extra funk to it. It smelled like armpits and bulgogi. Staff was nice enough but were working in obviously miserable conditions. Lesson learned.

Yelp
Covid 19 Review - Went for dinner and it was completely empty. Grabbed a table outside and took a look at the menus. FYI - you have to order inside at the cashier - Ordered the good and and drinks - a beer on tap, but they didnt have it on tap and didnt say anything til the bill was paid and tried to sneak a bottle to us. If you're not into spicy foods - this place isn't for you (or me). It was so spicy for me that I really couldn't finish my fried rice. It would be better if they offered non spicy versions or levels of spice. Would not be visiting again - unless I build a tolerance to spicy foods

Yelp
So glad my sister took me here. Amazing food...full of flavor and portions were big enough to share. I'd suggest ordering a few things amongst your group so you can all try a bit of everything. Very casual setting, you order with the cashier first and then grab a table. There's indoor and outdoor seating available. They bring the food to you and any other condiments/utensils you may need. Alcoholic beverages are served here too like beer and soju. Our party of three ordered the following: -Joint Fried Rice -Joint Fries -Spicy Calamari -Curry Katsu Chicken Bowl (more of a plate presentation). Rice was a bit mushy but I didn't mind. Just wanted to put that out there for those who do care about rice texture. We really enjoyed everything we ordered. The menu is pretty extensive so you're bound to find something that suits your tastebuds. I loved how they used skinny fries. I'm still thinking about the melted cheese and bulgogi on those fries! Bomb . com!!! Also, I would totally get the curry chicken katsu again...perfect comfort food on a chilly night!

Yelp
The ambiance and service is good but the food is WAYYYYY TOO SALTY. I've come twice to this spot and both times, the food was way too salty. I would give this place 4 or 5 stars otherwise. That's my only complain but that's a big one considering I couldn't finish my food. Only had a few bites and had to stop. The people who come here are on the heavier side so that might explain the lack of concern for that high blood pressure. The drink specials are awesome though. That is 5 stars.

Yelp
The burrito was AMAZING!!! So delicious!!! The staff was so friendly and I really enjoyed talking to them. They were very helpful especially since I was alone with my 2 toddlers. I didn't have to worry about getting up for anything. My kids loved talking to them and we felt so welcomed. If I lived in the area this would be my go to spot!

Yelp
We are trying this place for lunch and what impressed us the most is their honesty. They accidentally over charged us for our iced tea drink and we didn't even noticed it. They came and told us and gave us a refund. That is awesome. I love how flavorful their foods are. The flavors just burst in your mouth and entice all of your pallets. The joint nachos was a bit salty for me. My husband enjoyed his asada nachos. The buffalo chicken fries---yummy! Must try if you are fan a buffalo wings and cheese on your fries. The joint fried rice is good too. It has the same meat in the joint nachos. The katsu chicken curry was good too. The service is awesome.

Yelp
This place has one of the best fries I've had in a long time. We ordered the joint fries and Far East burger and it was phenomenal. The Far East burger was just a bacon cheeseburger with an egg. Pretty typical burger but did not disappoint. Definitely big enough to fill you up and came with fries which was a surprising addition. The joint fries were made with bulgogi beef and kimchi with a layer of melted cheese. It had a very authentic Korean flavor fused with the cheese. It is worth a try. I will most likely come back and try their other Asian fusion fries on the menu.

Yelp
I had to be in the West Covina area this morning and got held up until after lunch. I was feeling hungry but not wanting to go to your typical restaurant, i decided to do a Yelp search. I came across the steak and lobster restaurant but after looking at the menu decided it was a little to rich for my blood this afternoon. As far as i know we have all heard of Asian fusion food and probably tried it once or twice in our life time without knowing it. Well today i was going to change that. I found this restaurant in the movie district of West Covina. It was after the lunch rush, but i could imagine it on a Friday/Saturday night with all the movie gowers and neon lights, i betvthevplace was hooing That's when i came across Far East. The restaurant is located in the West Covina theater district off Vincent. Very clean plaza, even though it was around lunch time i could imagine the night time vibe with all the restaurants and the lights. I bet it gets pretty happening. Ok so the restaurant itself is located on a prime spot. When you walk in its very handsomely decorated with pictures and mirrors and two tvs. The service left more to be desired for, the lady behind the counter was timid and did not know the menu well and that's a no no if you expect me to have to go up to the counter everytime i want to order something. If it was table side service I could understand the learning curve, but with this place everything seemed backwords. If i had to take a guess it probably has to si with loss prevention given the majority of guest are in their early teens or tweens. There was this bad ass b____h arms tatted down. When I first got there i had in mind i was going to drop a cool 100-150 at this place and try everyth Th After looking over the menu and reading the reviews i knew i had to try their joint tacos. I can't explain it but they were the bomb. I read a review where they ask why only one tortilla, i agree, for tacos that good you need a back up to pick up what you left behind during the first two bites. 1-10 = 9. Yes i know, I'm Mexican, WTF. Those little guys are out there taste wise. I will be back for just those, if your like me and your reading this, it should already be book marked for you to visit soon.

Yelp
Not very impressionable being our first time. Was hoping for good Asian tacos, but was disappointed. We came in during a slow Sunday night, yet we waited almost 30 minutes for our order. We were fairly starving at this time, yet all our food came out room temperature, not hot or warm. We ordered the KBBQ tacos which were pretty greasy and tortillas were kinda tough to chew through. We also ordered a teriyaki chicken bowl for my child which was almost inedible because of the extra salt. The sweet chili wings were okay, but delivered to our table room temperature. Overall, my family would probably not eat here again. We were too tired to complain in person and cause a fuss since everyone's orders were taking a while to come out.
