A generations‑old family parlor that defines the St. Louis‑style experience: ultra‑thin crust, hand‑sliced Provel, and a bright red sauce. Riverfront Times named it Best St. Louis‑Style Pizza, praising the balance and care that wins over skeptics and loyalists alike.

Faraci Pizza for lunch. The best garlic cheese bread I've had. The pizza was fantastic. Service was great. Kitchen was fast. Thet have the best tables heavy granite no wobble. It was cozy and warm. Definitely need to keep them in mind.

Google
We run a West County facebook group called West County Social. Faraci Pizza won Best Pizza in West County in our latest Best in the West poll. We of course had to see and taste for ourselves! The restaurant is larger than I thought it was going to be, they have a large dining area with plenty of seating. The owner Vince was in the kitchen and was so nice to come out and talk with us. We got the 14" Faraci Special- sausage, peperoni, bacon, mushrooms and onions. The crust was light and crispy and held all the generours amount of high quality toppings without getting soggy in the middle. They only use high quality provel cheese and you could tell the difference from a standard STL style pizza! The garlic cheese bread was so crispy, ooey and gooey! We had an order of toasted raviolis which tasted fresh not frozen. We also had a tomato salad and this really blew me away! The tomatoes were so ripe and fresh doused in Faraci's house made Italian dressing topped with crumbles of provel cheese. The service was excellent our waitress was so sweet and knowledgeable! Seriously, it was all so good, and even better when we had all the leftovers for dinner the same night! It was clear to us why they were voted best pizza in West County, and we will be back again and again!!

Google
Best StL Style Pizza in the StL Metro Area. So good. Ravioli was good not Great. Cheese Bread was Amazing, if you like Pravol Cheese. Would Recommend.

Google
I love their thin crust pizza and salad. It is all made fresh daily with simple ingredients and tastes amazing every time. They have some of the best St. Louis thin crust style pizza. They also have great tasting meatballs that are made fresh every day. I would definitely recommend them!

Google
This place is, hands down best pizza in St. Louis! Pizza has been consistently top notch for the last 40 something years. Highly recommended

Google
To start, we ordered a couple of their meatballs. Delicious! I could have drank their sauce if I could but I knew I would probably get some looks from doing it. This was our first time trying St. Louis style pizza. So what makes it that? A very thin crispy crust with provel cheese and whatever additional toppings you like. It was tasty but honestly not something I could eat regularly. The best way for me to describe this cheese is a cross between mozzarella and processed American white cheddar, so a bit saltier than just your standard mozza. Overall, will definitely be back when in the area again. If you love pizza, might as well try their version!

Google
The BEST pizza!! We usually get carry out and it is consistently wonderful!!

Pete

Google
Our favorite pizza place. Small salad is large enough for 2. Toasted Ravioli is good as well. We live in St Charles & go anytime we are close. We ordered a sausage pizza. They don’t skimp on the sausage.

Yelp
If I were to be on death row, this would be my last meal. Best pizza probably in the world. I would shit this pizza out, eat it, and it would still be good. Eat here or die

Yelp
I stopped in for lunch on my day off and was greeted by a lovely woman, who turned out to be a one-woman show for the front of the house. She was the hostess and the server and she was awesome and full of energy. I decided to get the pizza lunch special. Everything was ready pretty quickly. I liked the house salad dressing and my pizza was blazing hot when it arrived. I had to be patient because I fear that molten provel cheese! I was surprised to find the sauce to be on the sweet side, great crust, and the toppings were plentiful. It took me far too long to check out this local institution, but I'd definitely return!

Yelp
The staff would benefit from improved training in phone etiquette. The woman (don't know her name because she didn't introduce herself) who took my order was short to answer my questions and unenthusiastic responses also referred to me as 'hon,' which felt condescending. On a side note: The website appears outdated and could use a modern refresh. (Bring it up to the 1990's)

Yelp
I'm literally going to visit EVERY pizza place in St Louis that I can. Always exciting when I come across one that has been around 50+ years. They must be doing something right, right!? Admittedly, as much as I love St Louis style pizza I've not really tried a lot of places that specialize in it. Enter Faraci's! In business and family owned since 1968. I drove past it once day, and checking out pictures online it definitely looked good. The place was pretty packed at 530, on a Thursday night. I showed up a bit later than my friend and it did take a bit before I was asked if I wanted a drink. A bit more off putting for me was that while we ordered at the same time my friends pizza was delivered first, with mine almost ten minutes behind it. While I found the service to be a bit slow, the staff was all super friendly! Let's talk pizza! It looked and smelled phenomenal! While St Louis style, I loved that it had a lot more body and I knew it was going to be a lot more filling than St Louis' famous chain. The sauce was delicious, but I felt it a bit lacking on the pizza. Was happy that we kept the sauce from our toasted ravioli. Adding a bit on top of the pizza, definitely was a good move! The toppings were all wonderful, specifically I loved the seasoning on the sausage. I loved the crisp on the edge of the crust, but wish that same crisp had carried through to the underside. All in all, I enjoyed faracis! Definitely would stop back in if I'm in the neighborhood and inspired to try more St Louis style pizza spots!

Yelp
I tried to order a carry out pizza and they said it was 1 hour and 45 minute wait. LoL - so not sure

Yelp
Drove past this place many many times and this is the first time we stopped. It feels like a family atmosphere, servers are great. Pizza is thin crust St. Louis style and rectangular. Not a fancy place but a good and satisfying meal.

Tina C.

Yelp
Very welcoming and hospitable environment terrific salad, awesome pizza we ordered the Faraci special - you can tell that the sauce & crust are homemade are-- so delicious! We will be back!

V'lilia L.

Yelp
Great looking pie, been hearing about them for years & finally got one. With the drive.

Yelp
Wow...St. Louis thin pan style pizza and a basic garlic Italian salad....and I'm in heaven! Comfort food at it's best. I love either Italian sausage or sausage and pepperoni pizza. Faraci a familiar "North County" style St. Louis pizza. I try to stop here when in the area on Manchester whenever I'm hungry.
google avatar

Yelp
Great ingredients prepared by mature professionals who get it done with pride! It's about as good as it gets!

Yelp
I had not had this pizza in over 20 years. It's the best! Sausage, pepperoni and bacon. Bacon was thoroughly cooked (no fatty parts) and it's great leftover too. This is my new fav pizza place. Staff is very friendly and efficient as well.

Yelp
YUM!! We made the trek out here from Saint Louis because the bride (from the area) highly recommended it. The second we walked in we felt like family. The hospitality is unmatched! Everyone was so kind and open with suggestions. We tried the cheese garlic bread and an order of the home made meatballs and sauce. WOW. We ordered 2 orders of it because it was soooo good. We then ordered a large pizza with sausage, pepperoni, bacon, mushroom, and onion. What a treat!! The crust was crunchy and perfect and the cheese was delicious. We had some leftovers but we ate them for lunch the next day (still amazing, even cold!). We will return next time we are in Saint Louis.

Yelp
Everything was awesome. Friendly staff! Great ambiance! And the pizza is amazing! We highly recommend!!!

Yelp
The best original STL-style pizza. High quality ingredients. Fantastic provel. Love the crust. A bit pricey but worth it.

Tim K.

Yelp
Small local restaurant that has been around since 1968. Great staff that is very professional and helpful. Small number of choices, but the ones they have do not disappoint. Please visit and try for yourself. You will be glad that you did.

Yelp
I love love love the Meatball pizza! My husband is a die hard Faraci special guy. But you gotta try the meatball! So goooood!

Jason P.

Yelp
Been a customer for 30 years and this is still the best pizza on the planet. The freshest ingredients and always made to order, you won't find a better pie anywhere.

Brian B.

Yelp
OK, so I've been meaning to try Faraci for a few years now. I've seen good reviews. Finally gave it a shot on Thursday evening. Good: -Pizza is best "Imo's style" that I know of in STL. Better than Imo's I'd have to say. NOT So Good: -Good god man, the pizza is just as pricey as Imo's. Maybe even higher. -Chef salad was weak. A ton of iceburg lettuce and perhaps 1 slice of ham cut up and about a dozen pepperonis with a miniscule amount of provel. -wine was rather crappy, but I wasn't expecting much here. My gal wasn't a fan of the pizza, but this is my review. We dropped more than $60 after tip for a large 1-topping pizza, a chef salad to share and a glass of wine. If we just went for the pizza and knew it was STL style, probably would give it 4 stars (dinged for outrageous price).

Yelp
My family has been ordering takeout from Faraci's for years and it is my absolute favorite pizza place. I've never dined in, but I am sure the service is excellent for dine-in, because it always is for take out! Their pizza is a St. Louis Style thin crust with yummy cheese and delicious sauce. The pizza almost melts in your mouth, words can't describe it. We've gotten their garlic breads and salad before, which are also great. My only complaint is that it is a little pricey, but it's hard to complain about that when the food is so good!! HIGHLY recommend. I have been going here since I was a kid and have always loved it.

Yelp
Visited for the first time a couple nights ago after seeing the owner pop up on Facebook with a few mutual friends. Love family owned restaurants so had to give it a shot. There was an hour wait for pizza, so started with house salads and toasted ravioli. They have a very good house dressing and the T-Ravs were standard St. Louis fair (which is good). The sauce served with them was a little thinner than I like and I wasn't a huge fan of it, but that's my personal taste, not saying it's not good, just not my favorite. Pizza came an hour later and was very good, however I prefer a crispier crunch from a St. Louis style pizza, but again, that's my personal taste and it was still very good. The place isn't huge but has a great vibe and the staff were very attentive. They all cared that we had a great experience. Seems to be filled with regulars who all know each other. We'll definitely go back and try other menu items. If you have any inclination to go, do so. You won't be disappointed.

Judy L.

Yelp
This is a family owned business that has excellent sheet pan pizzas and great salads.
google avatar

Dee W.

Yelp
The over the phone service was great! He was patient and answered my questions, so the pizza it self was ok. Maybe I should have got the special. My boyfriend went in to pick up the pizza and said "it's very Italian" lol so I'm guessing that was a good sign, he did say he would never order chicken tenders from them since you only get 4 to 5 at the price of $10!

Yelp
It's so funny because I used to intensely dislike Faracis pizza. Somewhere along the way , along with my family's love of this family owned pizza parlor, my taste for it grew until it really is the best in St. Louis I think. Their salad is really just lettuce, onion and a few tomatoes but their homemade Italian dressing makes it delicious. It's not too sour. A little more in the oily side but holy flavor!!! The Faracis special pizza has always been our favorite. A little bit of all the important pizza toppings like pepperoni, sausage, onion, mushroom and I think green pepper and bacon. This pizza is worth the drive from Creve Coeur to Ballwin alone. Now you may want to get an order of their fried mushrooms or cauliflower as an appetizer because pizza generally takes an hour they say... although I think they estimate high so as not to have upset customers. But the pizza comes out piping hot when it does make it to your table! This is a place to go with others so you can sit and chat and enjoy yourself while you wait and not feel rushed. Because it is family run, they do close for vacations and such so always be sure to check their schedule. Another bonus is that the same staff have been there for. Long time and they are always friendly, honest, on top of keeping drinks filled and grateful for your coming I . This is a great pizza place that I highly recommend and even if it's not your cup of tea at first give it a couple chances because chances are it will totally grow on you :)

Bill S.

Yelp
Good old school pizza, a little pricey but worth it. We'll be back next time we have the craving

Alyssa F.

Yelp
The best pizza ever. My family has been going here for years. I've grown up eating Faraci's and it is hands down the best pizza in St. Louis!
google avatar

Andy S.

Yelp
They make their own dough which takes three days and is made by the owners themselves. Scratch made sauce and scratch made toppings. All cooked in a brick oven that creates a perfect crispy crust. The consistency is amazing. Tonight we ordered the hamburger and the Faraci Special. The service was amazing as well as the pizza. If you like real old school STL style pizza, Faraci pizza is as good as it gets.
google avatar

Randy L.

Yelp
The absolute best pizza around, period. Just off Manchester Road in the Ellisville area this has been my favorite pizza for years. Fresh ingredients and hand made dough. We like different things so the lunch pizzas during the week are a great option.
google avatar

Diane W.

Yelp
Great pizza a staple in our community. We have been going over 25 years and we know the food will be consistent.
google avatar

Paul L.

Yelp
Best pizza in St. Louis in my opinion. I always get the Faraci Special and usually get carry out. They can get pretty busy around dinner so I recommend that if you thinking about it, you call and ask about the cook times, it could be 20 minutes sometimes it can be an hour and a half.
google avatar

Mackenzie L.

Yelp
This is our favorite place! We initially tried this place because Dave Portnoy reviewed it, and let me tell you it is INCREDIBLE! I love the sauce, it's kind of sweet! We always get a medium hamburger and it always hits the spot! Takeout is the best way to go in my opinion. It's a little family shop so there isn't a ton of seating to eat in, so we always order it to go. I will say it's always busy so a pizza takes like 30-45 minutes but it's so worth it!
google avatar

avery g.

Yelp
This place is really good for thin crust pizza. I've always been a picky eater and we asked if they could do a pizza with half sauce and half no sauce. I think they pulled it off very well. The food normally takes a little longer to come out, like any other pizza place though. Service was good and staff were very friendly. Good place for a nice dinner with your family!

Bob C.

Yelp
I'm kind of a snob when it comes to pizza. This place is in my top 3 favorite places for pizza. I drive from Sunset Hills to get pizza from here. Friendly staff and fair prices.

Matt B.

Yelp
What makes this pizza stand out compared to other St. Louis style pizza is the sauce, a very sweet and rich red sauce, not very overpowering but a very nice addition to the salty taste of Canadian bacon or the slight spice you get from pepperoni. The cheese, gooey, buttery, and rich as well. Each bite is a reminder of how great St. Louis style pizza is, it's a bit on the pricier side and the menu doesn't have a variety of options but basing this review on the pizza alone, it's 5 stars all day.

Dyan M.

Yelp
Great Pizza. Old school St. Louis style - very good!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I find the requirement of 85 characters annoying
google avatar

Michael A.

Yelp
Let customers know last time to seat times. We arrived 35 minutes before 1:30 and was told carry out only. We love Faraci's
google avatar

Michelle R.

Yelp
Great first experience..we did carry out pizza, salad & T-ravs. Pizza was outstanding and T-ravs definitely worth getting. We will make this a new first choice when ordering out with friends!!!

Nick F.

Yelp
We order take out from Faraci Pizza almost on a weekly basis. Try the meatball pizza and the chef salad. Made with quality ingredients, everything we've had from here has been delicious! Their service is second to none as well!

Dan D.

Yelp
Stopped by this place on Manchester Rd. In Ballwin, Mo. For lunch. Can't rely on the menu server says it changed at least 3 months ago. Avoid this place and servers are rude.
google avatar

Yelp
Had my first and last Faraci pizza yesterday. I ordered a 14" two topping, with two toppings on one half and two different toppings on the other half. After a 40 minute wait (!) it was ready and I went to pay for it. The young gal said the price was $23.75. Their menu stated $18.75 for a two topping 14", plus tax. I questioned the price and she said she had not taken the order, but that's what it says on the ticket. She then said a $21-something price, I gave her $30 and she gave me change for the original $23.75. I started to question the amount but she just walked away. Since I had been waiting so long I just took the pizza box and left. If unethical and shady tactics are how they run their restaurant I will not be returning. A few dollars overcharged isn't enough to motivate me to report them to the BBB but they can keep their pizza from now on and I will keep my money. Besides, I didn't think the taste was all that much of a wow factor. IMHO, Imo's pizza tastes better and I can get a 2 topping 14" from them for under $20, tax included.
google avatar

Ray V.

Yelp
Small family owned business with great pizza !! Love the "Faraci's Special". Very reasonably priced as well.

Robert S.

Yelp
Beware the place is not open all day. They have their hours posted as They close at 1:30pm and open again late in the day. I posted my disappointment in a kind way on their Facebook page and suggested they change the hours posted so people don't drive 30 miles only to find them closed. We drove 45 minutes, not that the owner cares. My comment was deleted and banned from posting any other comments. They had not yet changed the posted hours on yelp or Facebook. Good job! You lost a 10+ year customer with that nonsense. Bad business to screw your long time customers. I posted screenshots of their posted hours so the owner doesn't come back and call me a liar after he changes them to the proper times. Why support a business who treats a customer like that?
google avatar

Bob C.

Yelp
Great food and great service. We experienced terrible service at another pizza joint and took our business here. Experience was like night and day.
google avatar

Beth H.

Yelp
Arrived 45 minutes before close ready to order and they refused to seat us. Very disappointing.

Jen C.

Yelp
One of the best pizzas I've ever had ~ and great service , fast and friendly ~ ~~~ ~~

Cindy W.

Yelp
Love everything about this pizza! Loaded with toppings and always perfect. The Faraci's Special is our absolute favorite.....Sausage, Pepperoni, Bacon, Mushrooms and Onions!

Bridgette R.

Yelp
Best pizza in St. Louis. Love the salad as well. Dine in and carry out our both good options
google avatar

Michelle L.

Yelp
Driving by you might not think that this location had much to offer but you sure would be mistaken. Upon entering you are greeted by the fantastic aroma of fresh baked crust and its mouth watering, we were seated promptly and trust me it's larger inside than it looks so there is ample seating. We ordered the large special , loaded with cheese, onions, pepperoni, bacon, sausage and mushrooms and it was scrumptious, thin style crust and toppings from end to end. One of the best pizzas I have had in a long time and this will be my new go to pizza place.
google avatar

Sofia S.

Yelp
Had a great first experience here at Faraci's! The staff was super friendly and very passionate about their pizza. One of their staff members was telling me about how the sauce recipe came directly from a Sicilian family recipe. I love how they actually changed their hours to ensure the quality of their product shines over just mass producing and taking short cuts. With the hour change, they are using that time to prep their ingredient to keep the quality high. They take the time in each step from dough, to sauce, to toppings, to produce a high quality product! What can be better than that?! I love cooking and love making things from scratch because it does make a difference. We tried the meatball pizza, hot chicken wings, and toasted ravioli. We loved the pizza because the crust was crunchy but flavorful. The sauce WAS AMAZING! Sweet and herby just the way I like it. Obviously they had to top it with Provel cheese because we are in St. Louis! What could be better?? The wings were fine but I think we like crunchier wings, these guys were more breaded like how you'd bread chicken parm, still good but not our style of wings. And the toasted ravs were fantastic partially because we got to have more of the tomato sauce on the side! Overall, highly recommend for St. Louis style pizza! Great place to support a local restaurant while getting a great pizza.

Yelp
I love Faraci's Pizza and salad! I go here every time I am in St. Louis and have never been disappointed. The cheesy bread and toasted raviolis are awesome too! If you are into thin crust St.Louis style pizza then dinner here or from here to-go is a must!
