"An attractive, centrally located restaurant with plenty of personality where the true essence of traditional Granada cuisine has been given a modern makeover. Regular flamenco shows are also hosted here." - Michelin Inspector

Google
It was a lovely place for an intimate dinner. Service was absolutely great. Each dish had its own description and background, which is explained when they come out. Each dish was one or two bites, but you get a lot of dishes, and you do get full. If you can also see a flamenco show before dinner for an additional cost at the restaurant. Overall, I enjoyed my time there.

We enjoyed a variety of dishes. The lobster brioche had good balance. Our server, Alberto told us about each dish as he served it. He recommended a wine and it went well with the meal. We knew it was a bit pricey, but for us it was very much worth it.

In short: 5/5. Good sides: 1. Super professional service. They answer questions on the dishes, can advise on the wine. They are quick, they are friendly and positive. Big plus. 2. Interior: nice, well designed, large tables, comfy seating, a lot of room between tables gives you privacy from other guests 3. Finally food: i loved it. Dishes are twists of local andalusian or spanish cuisine, all made with local ingredients. Done very smart. Chef is a genius. To mention few dishes which really stood out: pastela moruna in a “plastic” (edible) bag with lovely moroccan touch - great! Brioche with caviar and cured estrurion - i am gonna try to recreate it at home! Soup with “jamon” fennel and peas but without actual jamon (only taste of it). Leek in beurre blanc - just perfect. I wanna give a balanced review so i am gonna mention slight downsides too (please notice they did not impact overall GREAT experience): 1. our reservation was for 8pm. We showed up 8:03, and 2 other couples were already waiting. the place was dark, locked. It was really cold and unpleasant outside. We had to wait. If they take first booking for 8pm, in my opinion they should open the place 7:50pm and be ready to let guests inside. If they open slightly after 8, they should NEVER take bookings for 8 o’clock. 2. Food: tubot/rodaballo was really ordinary. Nothing special. I can really do it better at home. As i stated: wanted to give balanced review but despite few really small issues this please is still HIGHLY recommended and is 5/5. Bill: 240 eur for 2 people.

The food was all delicious and unique! Staff was incredibly kind and willing to speak in English to my group. Amazing dinner service.

A holiday within a holiday. We had the full experience. A 15 course degustation menu. A festival of flavours! Every course was great and the wine pairing sublime. The chef is a very smart cook. Everything has its purpose and the courses complement each other very well. Would definitely come back if we didn't live in northern Europe. We highly recommend the full experience. It is not cheap but definitely worth it.

It is an exceptional fusion food restaurant. One of the best I have ever visited even if I am not very fun of fusion food. Service and wine menu is great. Congratulations to the team, keep going.

Booked a few weeks ahead to ensure we were able to go here and I’m very glad we did. The staff were lovely and explained every course in English. We had the 9 course menu (I wish I’d gone for the larger menu personally as I would’ve liked to see what else they could do). Menu was as seen in the photo. There wasn’t a bad dish amongst them. We particularly loved the lamb dish and their take on San Antón Pularda (that’s the one with the chicken shaped pâté cracker). Though the desserts were also exceptional and the leek dish… along with everything else like I said. I doubt the kitchen porters had much work to clean our plates when they went back in as not a morsel was left. It’s not cheap but if you’re looking for a Michelin meal - this place shouldn’t be missed. It will have a star in the coming years without a doubt. If you enjoy creative, delicious food and your budget can accommodate it - it was our favourite meal we had in Spain.

Between the michelin recommended restaurants I have been, I really enjoyed this place. I had 9 course menu, each dish was served with creativity with a proper combination of ambient, season and historic city which was seen in the decoration of plates. Each dish was a unique taste and experience. For my birthday, they prepared an extra wonderful cake. Staff extremely professional describing menu and pairing wine. Thanks a lot for the top experience🎈❤

Yelp
We were in Granada to visit our daughter who was studying there for the semester and we came here for our Thanksgiving meal and we're not disappointed! Every course was delicious and well paired with Spanish wines. We are all vegetarian, and they were able to adapt the 7 course tasting menu for us. Service was wonderful, and all dishes and wines were well explained by the staff. Would definitely go again if we are back in Granada!

Yelp
The meal that never ends. Too much of a good thing? Service, food, and presentation are all first rate. Farala seems like it's aiming for a Michelin star. Everything is presented well and delicious, but as the courses and hours progressed, it began to wear. Go but be prepared to be stuffed.

Yelp
Michelin-guide restaurant with creative menu. The food arrangement and presentation is arty, and the food itself is divine. We have tried traditional menu, made with the local tradition-inspired ingredients. Overall, sophisticated and elegant tasting experience! The decor inside is matching the food - fancy and stylish at the same time. Something to keep in mind: portion size is tiny, so if you feel really hungry go for bigger sized set of menu!

Yelp
I fond this place on The Fork app. We were in Granada for the day to visit Alhambra. It's a beautiful site to see. I made our reservation at Farala @8 pm. We got there at 7:30 and was turned down because we were early. So I shopped for souvenirs while my husband was working ( I'll keep him for a while ). We returned at 8 and was told to wait for 5 minutes because there was a flamingo dance show going on. At 8:25 we finally got in. Not a great start but I was hangry at the time and it was cold. However, when we we're finally sat, the experience there was incredible. The wine parring to the food they serve were exceptional. We were full, tipsy and very happy dinners when we finished. We'll definitely, absolutely come back next time we're in town. Thank you for such a lovely experience Farala!

Yelp
I'm almost speechless. We started the evening with a spectacular performance and I was certain the food couldn't live into the standard set. I was wrong. Visually stunning, the meal was a tour through the tastes and textures of Andalusia seen through a modern lense. We started off with a soft shell crab tabouli and a mushroom carpaccio with barley. The flavors were both bold and nuanced. The crab was crisp giving way to a perfectly tender interior. The mushrooms were marinated or prepared in a way that the carpaccio not only worked, I couldn't imagine it any other way. The barley risotto offered a wonderful textural contrast. For the main course, we had the pork and tuna respectively. My husband said the pork was possibly the best thing he's eaten in spain (this is our 4th fine dining stop which included places in barcelona and luxury hotels). The preparation made the pork taste like steak. The sauce underneath was downright captivating. The tuna was delicious. The desserts were gorgeous and tasty. The chef played with texture here as much as he did color and taste. The English menu called them gelato, but they are not. They were mousse, though mine also had gelato and a chocolate crumble and chocolate noodles and ... well, you get the idea. Finally, I have some complicated dietary restrictions right now. They didn't miss a not. I told them in advance and their execution was seamless. The same requests to a chef in barcelona left him almost angry. So it was nice to be treated so kindly. A lot going on. Gorgeous space. Gracious service. I will tell everyone I know to go here if they visit Granada and I will tell my hotel to recommend it. A grand finale to a truly wonderful day.

Yelp
Food: amazing Presentation: awesome Service: stellar Atmosphere: romantic And the Flamenco Show: the cherry on top Totally highly recommended as one of the top things to do while in Granada!

Yelp
This was one of the most incredible culinary experiences of my life. The flavors and textures can only be described as other worldly, while profiling Spain and Andalucía's exceptional tomatoes, olive oils, meats and fishes. I have never eaten, and probably will never again eat, dishes as creative and flavorful as those dreamed up by Fandalā's team of chefs-cum-laboratory scientists. Definitely recommend the tasting menu, during which you will relish each bite as much as you are bewitched by it. Not to miss.
