One of my favorite places in the city and a hidden gem of Fairmount. My sister has lived in Fairmount for almost two decades and this is our neighborhood joint. It’s our favorite for truffle fries, fig mule, flatbreads, calamari, and salmon is delicious. Brunch is also always delicious here. Literally anything you get on the menu will be tasty. The owner George is a super great person and has even let me host my best friends bridal should here a number of years ago. It’s a Gem within Fairmount. He also seems to have opened an oyster bar across the street which will will try soon as well. The menu changes seasonally due to whatever is available from the farms he sourced. Here are some pictures from over the years! Definitely check Fare out!

Google
The delicious food, helpful and attentive service, and great atmosphere at Fare make it a must-visit if you're going out for dinner in the Fairmount area! Additionally, Fare has one of my favorite happy hours in Fairmount with a great variety of dishes and lovely unique cocktails that really pack a punch. Highly recommend it if you're around Eastern State. Also, the mushroom flatbread from here is a must, but honestly, everything on the menu here is great.

In the Fairmont district of Philadelphia. Stopped in Fare for Happy Hour! We ordered the Farmer’s Tonic and Fairmont Sunset cocktails. Light and mildly refreshing, but not memorable. The Fish Tacos were light, flaky and tasty. A nice sidewalk stop on a beautiful fall evening.

We visited Fare for weekend brunch and were treated to a decent meal. I ordered the Good Morning Burger while my girlfriend ordered the Meat Omelet, one of the specials for the day. The burger came with a savory side salad while the omelet was served with potatoes. I asked for the burger to be cooked medium and, while it came out much closer to well done, it was still quite tasty. The egg on top was cooked well and complemented the burger. The omelet was tasty and the potatoes seasoned well. The servers are friendly and the service was quick. We arrived around 12:30 on a Saturday and the place was about half full. Good option if you do not want to wait to be seated at other options.

Very poor service. Went for brunch, got our main dish, but none of our sides. Reminded our waitress about them, she said they’d be right out. Sides didn’t come out until after we finished our entire main dish, at that point we didn’t even want them anymore. Also, had to wait ~10 mins to even get silverware AFTER our food arrived, so the food was cold by the time we even got to eat it. Really confused because there were only 3 other tables there and a few other servers around, it wasn’t like they were super busy, not sure why the service was so bad. Also, the mask our server was wearing didn’t cover her nose, and to be honest, barely even covered her mouth? In general, food really wasn’t anything great for the prices they charge. The Bloody Mary was pretty good though.

Google
Super nice server, very attentive and friendly. Amazing brunch....French toast was decadent and presented beautifully. Great hollandaise for Benedict, although eggs were over poached. Good coffee, fair prices for the area. The seating was a bit tight but the atmosphere was happy and everyone looked satisfied.

Google
The food here is simple, yet delicious. My lady had the brunch burger. I had the eggs Benedict. The Benedict was good. Only complaint is that the eggs were poached hard. Basically making them hard boiled eggs on top of my meal. When I come back (which I will) I'll remember to request them poached soft. The burger was delicious (I was a little jealous). Had the calamari. Pretty sure it wasn't actually squid though. I know some trade secrets in the industry, so I know when I'm eating "real" calamari. Atmosphere was nice. Very "hipster". Not my cup of tea, but I know the locals love it. Service left a little to be desired. I just wish my server was a little more attentive. It shouldn't take 15 minutes to order another round of drinks. He should've noticed the empty glasses and my impatient face (which he did as I glared at him for trying to walk past us for a third time). In the end, it's a good place to eat. Will definitely return.

Google
I had the joy of dining at Fare for a NYE dinner with some friends of mine. The inside was decorated for the New Year and it was overall a very cute restaurant. The food was amazing -- we got appetizers, drinks, entrees and finished the night off with dessert. I felt like the place is reasonably priced and the portions are large. I'll be back again.

Yelp
Note: Fare has been renovated and this is a review for the new space: IOS Bar, a Greek restaurant and bar. We ordered a dip (I unfortunately forget which one) and calamari. The dip came with warm pita and was good but not my favorite. The calamari was tasty and tender! As my entree, I ordered the beef and lamb gyro platter. The portions were huge but the food was tasty. I think the tzatziki sauce was a little bland but the rest of the platter was good. The fries had a nice crisp to them. I ended up taking half of it home! I still love Zorba's for a fancier Greek dinner option but this is a fun casual addition to the neighborhood.

Yelp
This is a great place for happy hour, especially on day with nice weather! My friends and I sat outside as this place is situated right on Fairmount Ave, so it's great to just see people walking around (and lots of dogs lol). I ordered the mango paloma which was super refreshing! I also had the spicy chicken sandwich and I loved the potato bun and gochujang sauce on it. The prices were also super fair for happy hour. Definitely recommend!

Yelp
I haven't had the food here yet so a review update might be in order as time goes on, but what a great neighborhood spot for a glass of wine at the bar. There's a big community feel here and I am a big fan of the wine list. I posted up at the bar solo to write and unwind (#maincharacterenergy moment) and had a great hour people watching and sipping a really lovely glass of tempranillo. There are twinkle lights to greet you upon arrival outside and a large FARE sign. The interior is pretty basic but cozy, and representative of their menu and vibe. Like many spots in the neighborhood, they have a great happy hour and it looks like they do a mean brunch as well. Excited to be back time and time again and appreciate the reasonable prices and great menu. Cheers!

Yelp
This place solidified that I need to move here. First, let me tell you about the truffle fries. They do NOT disappoint. Even when I go during happy hour, I always ask for the full basket because I put those puppies down in minutes. Drinks are amazing. Wide selection and they always have specials. It's a little more on the expensive side, however, the food and the servers make it worth it, ESPECIALLY if you get to sit out on the patio during the summer. So nice to chat and people watch!

Yelp
We made reservations on a Saturday, we were seated rather quickly. It wasn't too crowded. Nice chill vibe. Our waiter was really attentive and eager to assist. We ordered the mussels as a shared plate, the mussels were divine, I would highly recommend as they were packed with flavor and were a good size to share. As an entre I had the seafood pasta and my partner had the burger. The entrees were ok. The pasta had good intentions but it was a bit dry. The burger was just an average burger, nothing earth shattering apart from the charcoal bun which also wasn't that great. We had the tiramisu which was amazing. It's probably not a place I need to visit more than once.

Yelp
Rock solid place in the Fairmount area. Friendly service, food came out quick, nice outdoor ambience. Particularly liked the pickled red onions in my fish tacos. Nothing outstanding necessarily about Fare in my first visit, but good enough to return and tell others about.
google avatar

Ashley M.

Yelp
We have been coming here for the last 6, nearly 7 years and always have enjoyed everything from the menu! As you can tell from the photos, we enjoy coming in the summer for bevy's and refreshing appetizer night! Anyway, highly recommend you try this place! Great service, food, and vibes!

Jane M.

Yelp
I love this place. The bartenders are friendly and helpful. Happy Hour makes me happy with their $2. oysters and inexpensive small plates. Try the shrimp fries and the mini sandwiches. My favorite entree is the chicken-fried mushrooms. I often go alone and sit at the bar. Very comfortable for single dining. Highly recommended.

Yelp
We went here for an impromptu happy hour. The ambiance was great! The restaurant has lots of indoor and outdoor seating! In terms of food, it was okay. The truffle fries were cold and not worth the money. The oysters did not taste fresh. The fish tacos definitely could have been better with a hard shell and a bit more flavor! Our chicken souvlaki was cold!!! Pro: Dogs are allowed in the outdoor seating area! Con: Cold food!!

Yelp
Came with a friend for happy hour last week and loved this place! It's so close to me I can't believe I've never been!! Tons of great options for cheap. I got the: Mussels Truffle Fries Mushroom Flatbread The mussels and bread were so good I got a second order after! And asked for extra bread. The fries were great and had a aioli on the side as a perfect touch. The flatbread was a big small for my liking (but made sense since it's the happy hour portion). Probably why I was hungry again. But still delicious! My friend got the sandwich and mozzarella sticks which she said were great! The drinks were good at well and they had hard seltzers which I always love. So glad I found this place- will definitely be back again. Cute little restaraunt (with an outdoor option) that has a perfect chill happy hour vibe!
google avatar

Yelp
Pretty good lil spot to stop in. Has a very nicely priced happy hour menu to stop in during the week for some bites and a drink. The little outdoor area is nice on a good day.

Yelp
I'm so glad that Fare never closed its doors during the pandemic. This Fairmount gem has been a great way to safely get out and socially distance. They have a nice outdoor setup and patio area - covered, but very well ventilated. On top of that, they do have heating so even on cold days you're able to enjoy Fare favorites! During the warmer seasons, we loved getting the Mussels and Clams, which was covered in a buttery sauce with crab meat and ham pieces. It is delicious, and we must have got it every time we went. Unfortunately, they are out of season now, so we haven't been able to get any. But I am very much looking forward to the warmer seasons when the mussels and clams will be back in season! Their starters are also great - the calamari is my favorite by far. I love the sheer quantity of food they provide and also the taste is wonderful! They have other options too, like octopus and fries, etc. You really can't go wrong. Finally, they have the option to do a fully cooked fish with sides, which is great for a date night. It's easy to share, and they have varieties every week that you can try out. Absolutely great!! I will always come back to Fare. It is my go-to in Fairmount, and I don't see that changing any time soon!

Yelp
Fare is a spacious spot with indoor and outdoor patio seating that's always nice for happy hour. It got pretty busy on my last visit, but the service pretty much kept up with everything food wise. Drinks took a little long, but it wasn't a huge issue. My main critique is they could do better with the presentation of the food. Some items came out on actual plates, while others were in little to-go containers. All in all, if you're looking for a good happy hour with reasonable prices and lots of variety, Fare is a good option. I especially love that their happy hour lasts until 7, unlike most Philly spots who stop at 6 when people can barely get a bite in after leaving work.

Yelp
I like the siting arrangements at Fare. Sitting outside in the alley way seems nice on a good weather day. The restaurant has a diverse range of food options. Food can be a hit or miss. One time we got fish taco and there were big pieces of bones in it. And fish didn't seem fresh. I came here a few times for live music Wednesdays as well as happy hour and dinner. Service was good most of the time . Some times, service can be slow and food we ordered never came. Normally, when I'm with good company I don't mind waiting. I'm giving the restaurant 3 stars for overall service and food taste.

Yelp
Always a nice atmosphere. When it's really crowded it gets loud but that's anywhere. I love sitting outside in the warmer months . I find myself frequenting Fare more in the spring/ summer /fall. Their brunch is hands down my favorite in the entire city ! I know there are so many places to brunch in Philly and I've tried most of them . I absolutely love Fare Brunch. Their dinner menu is great too and always has specials that are unique. I can't speak on the cocktails bc I don't drink but whoever I'm with always says "that's so good". They're always busy so I'm sure it's all good! I live close by and usually walk - but when I'm meeting someone coming by car I usually see street parking as I walk and there is a very affordable outdoor lot a block over . This place definitely gets 5 starts . My only issue was last time I was in for brunch with my boyfriend. I had to as for a refill on my coffee and it was cold coffee . I love coffee and I find whatever bean or brand they use is excellent. So , being served cold coffee was a bummer . I didn't say anything as it was nearly 2pm and I figured they just didn't want to make more and that's fine . They could have just told me they don't serve coffee after they switch menus ( as my bf and I had been sitting at the bar for over a hour and it had gone from brunch to lunch / dinner). Still a 5 start restaurant with 5 start service , our bartender was attentive and I'm going to give him the benefit of the doubt and say he didn't know the coffee was cold . We shared avocado toast and they were nice enough to cook each egg a different way for us . I loved my chipotle chicken sandwich and my boyfriends Eggs Benedict w/ their side salad looked amazing . I didn't try his eggs but it was by far a superior "side salad" it had diced cucumbers and arugula mix in a geek style vinaigrette. 10/10 will return !

Yelp
I movo Fairmount about 3 months ago and have walked by this place a dozen times. I love their atmosphere. They have three different outdoor eating areas off Fairmount Ave. and indoor seating. We called ahead and got on the waitlist before walking down and were seated no more than 10 minutes after arriving. There were lots of things that I liked about this place and a few that I didn't. See below: PROS - ATMOSPHERE: like I said, the summer outdoor vibes here were awesome. I would try to get a spot in their garden area. Even though we were in the covered area, it was still nice to be outside (see pics) FOOD PRESENTATION: I loved the way that our meal was presented, especially the salads. Each came with mini metal tongs, which I found to be a pretty nice touch PRICE: I was going back and forth on price, but this place is right on Fairmount Ave and we got two salads and two entrees (and two non-alcoholic drinks) for ~$80 including tip, which seems reasonable. CONS - SERVICE: I'm not sure if we caught our waitress on an off-night or if she was pissed we weren't drinking but her attitude was lacking. FOOD SERVICE: For dinner, I got the flank steak medium-rare (I know this was my order) but it was VERY rare, pretty much cool in the center. It also took about 30 minutes to get our food (which isn't all that long but considering my steak was barely cooked, I'm not sure why it took so long). Definitely give this place a try. I recommend the Caesar salad with Brioche Croutons. It was very good.

Yelp
Super cute spot in Philly. Really nice aesthetic and the employees are so sweet. Went there on Valentine's Day and the manager gave me a rose, so sweet! The food was amazing. We got the chicken souvlaki and steak for our entrees. My bf was nervous for the chicken because it looked really light in coloring but he said the flavor was incredible. The steak with chimichurri sauce was great and the fries were even better. Def recommend!!

Katie G.

Yelp
I take my son to FARE quite a bit because we live in the neighborhood. Very good food, portions are good and service is also always good. I love the sangria as well!
google avatar

Sonya E.

Yelp
My meal was delicious! I've been here a time or two before did coworkers, but never really payed attention to the food. My latest visit changed that. Parking is terribly limited, that is the one down side. I ordered the seared ahi tuna that was a special for the day. It was delicious! So good! It had a sushi type theme with picked ginger and wasabi.
google avatar

Elizabeth M.

Yelp
My friend and I came to Fare for brunch on a Saturday morning and had a great meal. They have extensive outdoor seating, and it was a gorgeous spring morning! I got the Eggs Benedict (poached eggs and hollandaise) which came on a potato pancake instead of an English muffin, which was delicious! I got a side salad instead of potatoes since there was already a potato pancake as part of the eggs. My only complaint is that the portion size was a little small for the price ($14.50). I am excited to come back soon and try some of the small plates and flatbreads off the dinner menu!
google avatar

Shardai G.

Yelp
Cool atmosphere for drinks and flatbreads. In fact, there flatbreads are pretty good as someone mentioned. The drinks are too. I can't really speak on the food in general because I was there for a gathering and only came to attend for a short period, but did not eat anything. The wine I had was pretty good. The flatbreads looked delicious, and if I came back for dining, I would order one.
google avatar

Holly W.

Yelp
Best Happy Hour by far. In addition to good prices on drinks, they have an excellent HH menu that has so many great selections (oysters, fish tacos, salads, flat breads) that you could easily eat enough to make it a very reasonable dinner. Staff very friendly and efficient. Good music and vibe all around. Sit inside at bar or tables, or outside in booths/tables.
google avatar

Anne W.

Yelp
Our friend lives right by this place and was curious about it so we tried it out. Wow!! I got the French toast and it was the best! Everyone at the table tried it and loved it. The eggs Benedict was pretty good and so was the sandwich but the star of the show was def the French toast!!

Lynda G.

Yelp
this is the best kept secret in delco!! the food here is amazing. the menu never gets old. constant new menu items. the service fabulous. what more can you ask for?? oh prices very reasonable.
google avatar

Katie O.

Yelp
Amazing outdoor seating! It stays warm, possibly a bit crowded but all the waiters/waitresses are wearing shields and masks and the cleanup between guests appears thourough. The food is good and the drinks are always delicious

Marianela D.

Yelp
Nothing but great vibes in this establishment from the drinks, food & customer service. Its our after work spot for drinks. Highly recommend. It's very chill and enjoyable place. Brittany is my go to bartender.
google avatar

Mark F.

Yelp
So good!! Stumbled upon this place on a business trip and glad I did. Live music (on a Wednesday), attentive bartenders, and amazing food... the seafood pasta is top notch!
google avatar

Phylicia H.

Yelp
Came back for a second time, but stopped for happy hour this time. The service was great and it's located in a nice location so eating outdoors is always nice. Both the mango Paloma and fairmount sunset were good cocktail choices. The sunset wasn't sweet, which I loved! I ordered the fare mixed greens and fish tacos, which were both pretty good. My friend had the breaded shrimp and mozzarella sticks, which he sadly said tasted frozen and not special whatsoever. If you do come for happy hour, avoid those fried items!
google avatar

Tulasi K.

Yelp
Came for brunch on a Saturday last month and loved it! Their patio is dog friendly and they have many delicious brunch options, a bit on the pricier side but the portions and taste are more than worth it. I ordered their special fried French Toast which came with a scoop of ice cream on top. Their guava mimosa was also nice.
google avatar

Joy B.

Yelp
Came here on a weeknight, they allowed us to choose if we wanted to sit inside or in the outside heated tent. We sat outside and it was cozy and secluded which was amazing. The crab cakes and oysters were the best out of the four things we ordered. They have a great happy hour, definitely recommend the chicken platter and mushroom flatbread. Will definitely be back when we are in Philly again!
google avatar

Stephanie R.

Yelp
Love this restaurant on fairmount - the staff is VERY friendly, and patient with our order. The food is delicious! I ordered the tsipoura - which is a Mediterranean fish that was one of their specials. It was absolutely incredible. The best part, they de-bone the fish for you, so you don't have any work to do. Only disappointment was the kalamata martini - it just didn't hit right. The food may be a little pricey for Fairmount Ave, but definitely worth it!
google avatar

Mariah W.

Yelp
Love this place! It's a cute restaurant in fairmount with delicious food. I love their mushroom flatbread and best salad. I was recommended by a friend and it didn't disappoint

Tahreem K.

Yelp
Great food and amazing staff! Got stuck here during a tornado and never want to leave.

Yelp
My friends and I met up for brunch on a Sunday. Drinks: Mimosas were a hit! They have different flavors like mango! They also offer other cocktails and wine. A full drink menu with lots of options. Food: Not bad! I wasn't knocked off my seat but I wasn't displeased either. Maybe it was just what I ordered! My friends had delicious looking plates full of goodies. I would definitely eat here again. Parking: Plenty of street parking is available around the place! Shouldn't be a problem. I was able to park on. Sunday for free not far away. Overall: I was fairly pleased with my experience! Drinks and food were decent. I am knocking off a start because I did think it was a little pricey for what I got (Blueberry French Toast). It was a little lacking in flavor not much filling or fresh fruit served. I also had to ask for syrup. I think the dish would be more exciting if they offered blueberry syrup of some kind. I've had other French Toast dishes that's truly wowed me with flavor and tastiness! Out server was friendly enough. No real complaints other than coming to check on us for drinks and clearing plates was a bit slow.

Yelp
Let's start by saying this place is in a great location with excellent outdoor dining set up. I went for happy hour which was 5-7 and it was chilly! They have big heaters set up making things very enjoyable. Covid procedures were on point! Entering the restaurant through a seperate entrance to using the restrooms with sanitizer at the door. Now for the the food. I really wanted to give this place 4 stars but couldn't. There was bottled wine avaiable for $25 each but they were out of a few. The beef sliders same with chipotle aioli which seemed to be their staple- they were extremely dry and did not get eaten. The fish tacos were very very yummy and hearty with that chipotle aioli but the tortilla fell apart at first bite. The mushroom flatbread was tasty but very small. Oysters were good. The truffle fries are what would bring me back! They were insanely delicious!
google avatar

Krysta A.

Yelp
Great service -Great music- Amazing food-superb cleanliness-! We ordered nearly every appetizer "smalls" they had on the menu and each one was delicious and came in huge portions!! We also tried multiple local beers and they were all fairly priced and tasty! My kids each order a kids meal and the portions were huge with high quality ingredients! Anyone coming to visit Philly needs to eat here.

Nash K.

Yelp
We escaped the tornado watch and landed at the cutest most amazing resturant. Excellent food and super nice staff. Turned the heaters on for us at the patio brought in chewy from the car and had the chocolate lava cake recommended by Cypress. Check it out can't wait for my daughter to move to this neighborhood so we can visit Fare regularly
google avatar

Renée C.

Yelp
The food here was well...fair. The fish tacos were painfully dry, as other reviews noted; the pickled cabbage wasn't enough to save them. The appetizer combo of cheese, apple & bacon on flatbread missed the mark for me. My happy hr drink was strong, but not particularly flavorful.

Andrew M.

Yelp
My wife and I ate here last weekend and it was pretty bad. The fish tacos were super dry and bland. Crab cakes were OK but not worth the insane price tag. The beets tasted like they were straight out of a can and my wife's side salad was too salty to eat. The atmosphere is also bad. There is no cohesive theme, the artwork on the walls is half-baked, and everything was dirty. If you're gonna charge upscale prices, I expect an upscale environment. Very disappointed overall. Save $50 on your meal and go to the Thai shop down the street.
google avatar

Des R.

Yelp
I would give them 3.5 stars, but yelp doesn't do halfsies. I seem to have been drawn to this place ever since it opened & then when the outside addition came I really got excited (idky, i just did ‍). I went for the first time a few months ago for drinks on a late night humbug. I had only had a drink and the hummus platter, which was good as expected. I mean, if someone can manage to screw up a hummus platter then they truly have a problem. So that visit was ok. I was bored one day last week and just wanted to go someplace nearby for a nice drink and a nice atmosphere, so I decided to visit Fare again. I had a really dirty martini which was perfect (the dirtier the better). I also ordered the Mediterranean flat bread which was pretty good, a bit too salty, but still good enough for me to eat the whole thing. (I think I have found a replacement for my love of pizza, if I tell them to hold the salt). For my entree I had the Salmon with a side of brown rice and string beans. While I found the Salmon to be pretty good, the rice didn't have any seasoning and the beans were kinda blah. There's something about this place that I like, but I don't see myself visiting again anytime soon. Unless I can manage to bypass Fairmount Pizza and go for flatbread instead.
google avatar

Arielle V.

Yelp
Fare is a really solid neighborhood restaurant. They have a great happy hour. Really enjoy their flatbreads and $5 wine! I have also been for brunch multiple times. Their eggs benedict is really good! It is over a fried potato cake (similar to a thick latka). For my last visit, I tried the vegetable omelette and was disappointed. The vegetables were skimpy and there was barely any feta cheese. I've never ordered a brunch drink. They're pretty pricey. I also have never seen it crowded for brunch. Personally, I think they would do more business if they offered brunch drink specials and maybe lowered their prices slightly. Although I know organic/sustainable food can be expensive. The service good. I don't like how they process your card at the table and wait there while you are entering your tip into the machine. It's awkward and you have to enter it in manually if you don't want to leave a suggested tip which starts at 20%. It's digital and not an iPad. Overall, I highly recommend Fare for happy hour. I also would return for brunch but not overly excited about it.
google avatar

Vernon M.

Yelp
Simple but quality menu, with astute service makes Fare a easy place to go on a weekday, as well as the weekend! The seasonal cocktails are thoughtful but also easy to enjoy. Great neighborhood spot!
google avatar

Alyse W.

Yelp
Honestly, I was pleasantly surprised with how good Fare was! I have walked by it for years and have known people to go and the consensus I always gathered was that it was fine. I think Fairmount has always had a bunch of "fine" restaurants, but for a cozy/cute family vibe or date night, I'll have to come back here. The food was good. I had the crab cakes with asparagus and fries and I literally ate every last crumb. We also tried the lava cake and baklava for dessert and they were fabulous too. I was surprised by the baklava offering but apparently the owners are Greek! It was delicious, easy to make a ressie/get a table & allow dogs outdoor seating. We'll have to come back when we're looking for a little date night walking distance.
google avatar

Mike C.

Yelp
Nicely situated right on fairmount ave, great for people watching but overpriced with very small portions. Paid $33 for the crab cakes which were average. Saw the $20 cheeseburger, very small. After leaving here, went to the pizza place down the road...
google avatar

Sherry T.

Yelp
Trying to explore different parts of Philly and always passed by this place in Fairmount but never tried. Finally did a few weeks ago and was definitely a nice experience. Absolutely loved their outdoor area and the little set ups they had. We arrived early but had no problem being sat. For it being Sunday at prime brunch time, it wasn't too busy. We made reservations but definitely didn't need them.

Yelp
I'm giving this place 3 stars because I enjoyed it, but I think I ordered the wrong things. BUT - that's not to say I won't be back. For starters, great outside seating! It is so cute and perfect for a summertime meal or even just drinks. Love the aesthetic and LOVE that it is FARM to Table. I think I knocked the star from 3 to 4 because I love charcuterie. Like live and die for some good charcootz. And I was disappointed with theirs! It was like one I could've made at my house and there was nothing special at all. Like, you are farm to table...throw in some local jams or cheese from the farm down the road that is so tasty and unique...but there was nothing of those sorts. We also got the octopus for appy as well. This was delish. For dinner I got the burger and was unimpressed (as you'll see from my picture of it lol). My parents got the swordfish special and LOVED it. The fries were good, but mostly just fried grease with limited potatoes. Drinks were refreshing and strong. Service wasn't spectacular, but no real qualms. I am curious about this spot and live right around the corner, so I will be back to give it another go. Updates to come.

Yelp
I've been a fan of all the Sabrina's Cafe's for 7 years. My favorite location is the 18th & Callowhill Street. no matter how busy ( which is a good thing) the cafe is the manager Ms. T and staff are exceptional in getting our meals out to us. We had tickets for the new movie Wakanda Forever' and was concerned that we would either be late or go hungry! Neither happened today!! Ms. T and her staff got our orders to us expeditiously and we had time to spare once we got to the theatre! Thank you Sabrina Cafe!!

Yelp
The ambiance was nice at this restaurant. We were able to sit outside, but not feel like we were on the sidewalk, because of their side terrace setup. The crab cakes were delicately fried with avocado inside (!), and the Asian sauce on top was a very good touch. The string beans were fresh but not crunchy or bitter. And the pickled beets were plentiful and tasty as well. A very good meal, if a tad expensive at $30.

Yelp
Ok, I'm giving them three stars only because not everything was off the mark. My wife's fish taco were good but my burger missed the mark. Sounded good on the menu, who wouldn't want pastrami on their burger. Trouble was the pastrami was cut thick and I couldn't bite nor cut through it....Very disappointing. Also the fries were limp, the is one of my pet peeves, I love fries and when they are not done right...very sad. Also, the bread they brought to the table before the meal was burnt, cold and soggy. Whoever let that leave the kitchen is not helping your restaurant. The chef would be better off skipping the bread if he/she can't get a simple thing like this right.
