Absolutely loved our visit to Faria Bakery. The croissants were next-level—flaky, fresh, and full of quality. We tried the classic and almond, and both were incredible. We also had the chai and the tiramisu drinks—both were flavorful and paired perfectly with the pastries. The space is small but cozy, with great vibes and a super photogenic setup. It’s definitely the kind of place you’ll want to snap a few pics. Staff were kind and welcoming, and we appreciated the easy self-checkout kiosks for a smooth experience. Can’t wait to come back and try more—this spot is a gem.

Cozy little downtown bakery. Nice vibes, fresh bread, and great quality. Beautiful patio too. Some of the flavor combinations were a bit off-putting for me, like with the salmon tartine, which we did order. I also ordered a chocolate croissant which was basically just a massive regular croissant with a dime sized amount of chocolate on the edge. Great flakiness on the croissant, just not what I was expecting. But I did also order a chocolate cookie that was supreme. Wanted to try the milk French toast but they were sold out. Overall, cool spot for a coffee and pastry.

I have been waiting for a really long time to come to this so called iconic cafe. My family finally made it today around 1200, we were so excited. When we walked in the staff looked like wondering why we were in there, there was no greeting, no smiles. I felt almost as if they were irritated we were there. Not to mentioned the pastry display was empty and dirty meaning (crumbles everywhere). I try to ignore their unfriendliness and asked what kind of syrups they had. The girl would not want to take my order physically as I needed to make a small request. She emphasized few times to order on the iPad. So I did and of course no way to write special request.. in the food industry even if the food is not good but you get very friendly staff you feel welcomed. Not at the place. I was excited to visit now I don’t want to give my money to a place does not deserve it.

Google
Faria Bakery is a must-visit in Sacramento’s Oak Park neighborhood! Their sourdough look perfectly crusty, and the pastries are visually appealing, flaky and delicious. They also serve well-made coffee drinks that pair perfectly with their baked goods. The staff is friendly, and the cozy atmosphere makes it even better. If you love fresh, artisan bread, pastries, and great coffee, this place won’t disappoint!

Google
A nice and cosy place. It’s a bakery with good quality food. You can buy bread as well. Many people just stoped by to get some pastries on their way. We had a breakfast here. Not much space to sit but it’s clean and quiet

Wow! Why haven’t I been here before?? Came after going to their sister restaurant Solimar which was also amazing. We had the Turkish eggs, Mcegggggggg, Salmon yartine and quiche! Everything was amazing, top fave was the Turkish eggs and best almond croissant we’ve ever had!

Farria Bakery is an absolute hidden gem. Every single item I ordered was incredible—the croissant and pain au chocolat were perfectly flaky with deep, buttery layers, the country loaf had a beautiful crust and soft, flavorful crumb, and the mini panettone was light, airy, and just the right amount of sweet. Even the cappuccino was spot-on. The quality of the flour they use really shines through in everything they make. If you appreciate top-tier pastries and bread, this place is a must-visit. Highly recommend!

Cute little bakery with big heart. Fresh baked sourdough bread, goodies, and coffee. They also have a limited selection of artisan breakfast dishes. The seatin area is a bit tight but functional

Yelp
This is my favorite bakery in Sacramento! I always try to stop by and grab some goodies whenever I'm in the area. I visited on Lunar New Year, and the place was beautifully decorated. Unfortunately, they were out of many items by 10:30 AM. I only managed to try their pineapple bun with salted egg yolk custard from their LNY specials this week (they were out of the black sesame kouign-amann and egg tarts). 4/5 Pineapple Bun: The crust wasn't as crispy as a traditional pineapple bun. It reminded me more of a concha-style top. The filling was generous but didn't quite taste like salted egg yolk custard; it was more like a creamy custard instead. 5/5 Pear Butter Donut: omg this was amazing! The dough is milk bread rolled in cinnamon sugar, filled with pear butter and topped with cream. Soo good! 4/5 Miso Toast: This was tasty! I loved the umami-sweet miso butter on the toast with the blackberry jam.

Yelp
We came on a rainy Saturday morning around 11am- there was a fairly long line that stretched from the entrance down to Solimar. Thankfully, Faria had a basket of courtesy umbrellas out front, so that you have some coverage while waiting. It took us about 15 min to get inside- they only allow one party inside at a time for ordering. I did notice there seemed to be some confusion with folks who preordered- some people coming for pick ups were told to get in line as well, but some just went straight into the store to grab their order. They could probably use some signage clarifying what is preferred. Items that we ordered: - Ham + cheese croissant: absolutely delicious, one of my favorite items. I loved the texture on top of the croissant- it had crispy ridges and was topped with a cornichon. - Almond croissant: really delicious as well, nice and flaky, not too sweet. - Miso toast: this was topped with seasonal jam, which seemed like a blueberry jam. The sweet and salty combination really complemented each other. - Morning bun: cinnamony, delicious as well, pretty standard for a morning bun. - Miso apple handpie: unique flavor, the miso didn't overwhelm the handpie at all. Again, the balance of sweet and salty was really satisfying. - Cortados: tbh I don't think coffee is their strong suit. We only got coffees because we were planning to dine in for breakfast. The espresso itself seemed to be under-extracted; was kind of watery, acidic.

Yelp
This is the only place in Sacramento where I've found truly amazing, authentic canelés! My family and I can't get enough of them. If you know anything about baking canelés, you know they're a finicky labor of love and not easy to make, but Faria seriously nails it every single time. Their perfectly caramelized, crispy outer shell and rich, vanilla-y custard center are absolute perfection. These pastries are worth every penny! I read some reviews of people saying they're too pricey and too crunchy on the outside, but hello thats how authentic canelés are supposed to be and where the rich caramelized flavor comes from! They're expensive bc canelés are not easy to make and they use local ingredients. Try making some and you'll quickly see why.. Plus they deliver, which is so convenient and I use it all the time lol! Personally, their customer service has always been great with me. Everyone I've talked to has been nice and friendly. Their buckwheat coffee cake and kouign-amann are also excellent. Both are less sweet, but still incredibly flavorful and clearly made with top-notch ingredients. Their almond croissant is on the dryer and flakey side due to being twice baked, so keep that in mind if you're expecting a soft doughy croissant, twice baked isn't that! You can really tell that everything they bake is crafted with care and high-quality ingredients, which sets them apart from other bakeries in the area. On their website it shows how they support local farmers and buy their ingredients from them, which is not cheap and something most bakeries short cut. I truly appreciate their efforts to do this and buy local! If they ever stopped making canelés, I don't know what I'd do because they're my absolute favorite pastry. Definitely a must-visit!

Yelp
The almond croissant is buttery, flakey, and just perfection. The miso toast was unique and yummy. The mocha was good. The store is quite small for dining in, it can probably can fit 4-6 people max. There is outside seating however. I wish staff were a bit more friendly and helpful however.

Vicky P.

Yelp
The food was soooo good! Service was so nice and friendly and the coffee was pretty good but the food is delicious.

Yelp
This place is pretty good. It's organized by having customers form a line outside. When you arrive, you are instantly hit with a great baking smell. There's places for sitting indoors and outdoors. I love the simplicity of their menu and their items are pretty good! I enjoyed the baked treats such as the rhubarb and ricotta danish and my husband ordered an miso apple hand pie . We devoured them which tells how good it is. The mocha was beautifully presented and my husband enjoyed his iced coffee. I'd love to go back and maybe dine in. We ordered to go! Definitely check this place out.

Yelp
Believe the hype! It is well worth it! If you are expecting a regular, average, run of the mill place for breakfast, then this is simply not the restaurant for you. Staff member, Gersam, was very professional and passionate about the product, which is locally sourced from a farm 50 miles away. I ordered the special breakfast dish. What surprised me were the assortment of flavors- spicy with a hint of sweet. While prices are on steeper side, what you're paying for is a gourmet dining experience...which is surprising because the interior seating area is limited. The quality of their products is exceptional. The ingredients for the breakfasts are locally sourced. The baked goods are produced in-house- also exceptional. You need to savor every bite! Then hopefully you will come to an understanding as to why it's so wonderful. It might be easy to overlook this bakery, or have generalizations as to what to expect based on the selected pastries that you might see. This is a true culinary experience! The pear, donuts, for example, are made with a special dough that takes over a day to create. Definitely worth a visit!

Joye S.

Yelp
It's a good AND bad thing that I don't live closer! My wallet is thankful but my belly and soul always fills when I visit. Such creative, beautiful and tasty items. Always something new and fun. A bit pricey but soooo worth treating yourself and anyone you love because it's just food that makes you smile.

Yelp
I'm always here. Believe everything you read. They have their regulars and they have their seasonals. They're at farmers market. Still want to come here for brunch. Oh, they're also on DoorDash.

Tiffany L.

Yelp
I've had Faria before from the farmers market, but it was my first time actually going to the bakery itself. It's a cute little bakery that is extremely popular! I ordered an almond croissant and my boyfriend got the ham and cheese croissant and ham and cheese sandwich. The sandwich is on a baguette. I love almond croissants and this one didn't disappoint. I loved it when there's actually almond frangipane! There were a lot of layers and extremely flaky. The ham and cheese croissant was really good too. I loved how everything went well together, but also you can taste all the different flavors and textures separately. The sandwich is definitely a big boy! Our favorite part were the pickles. I'd get a whole jar of it! The sandwich was good, however there were parts of the baguette that was harder than expected. Overall, I'd come back again to try all their other goodies!!

Connie C.

Yelp
Got the peach lavender in croissant cup form this time and it was just as great as the first iteration only much more manageable. Love it! It's sweet but countered by the hint of lavender and the buttery croissant! Turkish eggs and potatoes were so decadent and so pretty that I didn't want to eat it, but eat I did. I could eat 4 more plates.

Nancy L.

Yelp
For drinks, we ordered their vanilla latte, chai latte, and iced matcha latte. All our drinks were pretty good but their chai latte was hands down the most delicious! We also ordered their almond croissant, pain au chocolat, strawberry cream pie, and mceggggg. Their pastries tasted okay. We really like the strawberry cream pie. The crust was crispy and the whipped cream filling and strawberry was soft and perfectly sweetened. The mceggggg was just alright. We didn't quite enjoy the flavors of the sandwich and the texture of the egg. We regret not ordering a loaf of bread but will definitely give the bread a try next time!

Gerald D.

Yelp
Walked in on Wednesday morning, which is their Monday at this establishment and was warmly greeted by an employee. I wasn't rushed to order so I was able to look at their variety of pastries that they offered through the display. I chose an almond croissant and a Canelé. The Canelé had a light crisp on the outside and was extremely moist on the inside, the perfect combination. I tried their brown sugar latte hot with oat-milk, it was very suttle and not overly sweet. I will definitely come back to try their brunch menu and pick up one of their olive loafs my next time here. Don't sleep on this bakery, it is worthwhile of your time...

Lily M.

Yelp
Stopped by the Midtown Farmers market a bit ago and got an assortment of goodies! Loved the seasonal items and can't go wrong with the almond croissant and coffee cake!

Greg C.

Yelp
Horrific service. I love the food - pass on the people. I've purchased their food from the Folsom Farmer's market, from their store in Folsom and today I drove from Rocklin to their Oak Park location to purchase bread. We go there at 2 and were spoken to rudely by the staff that they were closed. When I informed her that according to the web, you are open to 3 - I was told I was wrong and was treated if I was stupid. Moving forward, I will find a bakery with better staff that understands how to speak to patrons. Not sure if you can see the screen shot, but I took it before 3 and it shows they are open until 3. I'll be spending my money elsewhere - horrific employment should have a cost.

Elaine Y.

Yelp
Originally came to try the Turkish eggs but turns out I wasn't really that hungry upon arrival into Sac. While waiting in line, both the parties in front of me and behind me raved about the miso bread so I pivoted and picked up a loaf and also picked up the bialy to eat immediately. The bialy was almost too pretty to eat! It featured the bialy which had a lightly bubbled crust like a bagel and then a nice chewy fermented sourness on the interior. The divot was filled with seasoned creamy potatoes, topped with roasted golden beets, thinly ribboned pickled vegetables, and garnished with microgreen leaves and edible flowers. Overall, it was pretty tasty! But! I do think it needed just a little burst of something extra like maybe freshness from a basil leaf or even the bite from fresh cracked pepper. The two items came to just over $22 so Faria is on par with some of the artisan bakeries in SF but it seems to be worth the splurge every once in a while. Edit: adding review of the miso bread - this is a STAR! It's funny, as it was sitting in the car, I wasn't a huge fan of the smell....it just reminded me of sweaty gym clothes lol. However, once I cut into it, you immediately got the scent of roasted miso which was deeply savory and nutty. I toasted up a small slice and was blown away by the complexity in flavor and also the texture of the bread. It had such a nice chew! I've paired it with cheese, roasted vegetables and honey tahini, and also sardines at this point and everything has been delicious with it!

Yelp
A residential neighborhood that has the first of two bakeries that started off at the local farmers market and has grown into its own business. Faria Bakery is located on Broadway in the area called Oak Park. The range and quality of the fresh pastries and breads are exceptional and delicious. They also have a meal menu featuring a few breakfast items plus sandwiches & salads too! We ordered the chocolate croissant & their specialty semia bun. The croissant was layered with light thin layers of flaky perfection with just the right amount of dark chocolate. That semia bun is a "must have". The creamy texture and the incredibly flavored milk bun was divine, but pretty pricey. The bun is $11.50, and plenty for two to share. The coffee bar is located to the left of the baked goods. Barista was not to engaging with customers & didn't go out of her way to make conversation. Note: coffee is provided by a local roaster. We ordered the matcha latte, chocolate latte & brown sugar latte. All were fairly good, but for the price- just wished a little larger of a cup. Keep in mind that your eat-in choices are limited although tables outside are congenial in those portions of the year when that's a tolerable choice. For locals and their guests this seems to be a great place with lots of popularity. Heard on the weekends the line is "out the door". For visitors to the area, Faria is a nice treat mainly for the bakery experience and can even consider picking up one of their unique fresh loafs of bread too!

Tiffany W.

Yelp
I went in around 1:30 on a Sunday and they only had some options left. I opted for the almond croissant and... it was the best almond croissant of my life. It had a good crunch, so many layers, and just an amazing almond spread in the middle. I was shocked when I took my first bite because I didn't expect to be wow'd especially since I randomly stumbled upon this bakery. Would love to try their drinks next time and hopefully come back earlier for other baked goods as well.

Jason N.

Yelp
Overall? This place is hands down one of the best spots in Sacramento for baked goods. Yeah, it might seem a little pricey at first, but trust me, it's worth every penny. The real magic lies in their rotating menu, all built on the backbone of an excellent coffee selection. It's the kind of spot you want to take family or friends to when they're in town because it shows off just how awesome Sacramento's food scene is A heads up, get there early because the popular stuff sells out fast. The interior is warm and inviting, but seating is limited, so don't bank on hanging out too long Parking? Street

Yelp
appreciation post for my favorite bakery located in the 916. Especially the Curry Puff they used to offer. Faria makes the best bakery/breakfast items I have ever tried. Everything they make in house is very well constructed and thought out and you can tell from the presentation and taste. Items shown: Chai Cake, McEggggg, Miso Bread w Miso Butter, Morning Bun, Kouign-amann, Curry Puff (my favorite, glad I tried it before it was discontinued), and a Buck-wheat Creme Puff. Only thing I don't like is how expensive each good is and how they have changed up a few of my favorites on the menu because I believe they have a seasonal menu however everything they make tastes so good and pairs so well together. The service is usually pretty quick. Also note there is not much seating in the downtown location.

Isaac A.

Yelp
Very solid Croissant! Place has a charming small cafe vibe. Slightly weird to have to wait outside in the rain (under a tent) to be called in to place order because they only allow 1 at a time at the register but alas I guess they're just too popular.

Cassandra L.

Yelp
Came here to visit and chat with a friend, definitely hit or miss on the seating but this place is great. Service is nice and quick depending on the line but the employees can't control that :) Smells delicious, lots of fresh bread, coffee is great and pastries are just as delicious. I need to come here and order some food.

Jessica F.

Yelp
I recently visited Faria and was thoroughly impressed. The McEgg and smoked salmon tartine were both delicious. The McEgg was a delightful twist on a breakfast classic, while the salmon tartine was flavorful and perfectly balanced, with just the right amount of seasoning. The venue itself was nicely decorated and cozy. I would give this 5 stars, but I thought the cost was a bit higher than normal for a small brunch.

Daniella W.

Yelp
Food and drinks are amazing. Only critique I would have is I wish there was more inside seating but it is a very cute, cozy spot to grab a bite or have a coffee date!

Monica N.

Yelp
Cute little bakery located in midtown area. Staff is super friendly at the door and helpful with any questions. They also have some breakfast items here that we will have to try the next time we visit. We got an assortment of croissants and a basque cheesecake (my favorite). All items were DELICIOUS. We didn't end up eating any of it until several hours later when we went to the beach, but everything still tasted so fresh and the croissants were so flakey and good. There's not a whole lot of seating in this place, but come check it out anyways! It's a great place to grab a coffee and pastry for breakfast!!

Jenna R.

Yelp
My friend works in a salon nearby and she recommended this bakery to me for their almond croissants. This place is so cute and when I went it was decked out for Lunar New Year. I ended up picking up an almond croissant, a regular croissant and a sesame cookie. The cashier was nice and friendly. This place was busy! All tables were taken, even the ones outside. I love pastries and a really good almond croissant.

Alisa C.

Yelp
This place is a bit of a splurge but they put out some amazing bread loaves, pastries and sweet treats. I always have to get a loaf of olive bread when I come here, it's nice and soft on the inside but has a good crunch on the outside, and is always consumed way too quickly.

Stephanie R.

Yelp
Really cute spot. I wanted to like it. There is limited seating so it gets pretty crowded and staff customer service is hit or miss. On a good day, it's neutral at best, but never inviting. The food is overpriced and inconsistent. Although it's generally a great menu item, the Turkish eggs were extremely over salted so there's often not a guarantee you'll get the flavor you're expecting. The French toast is really hard and deep fried so you'll feel extremely sluggish after eating it and it's really hard to cut through. The pastries are dry and extremely hard. The almond croissant tasted burnt and had to be cut with a knife just to pull it apart. Overall, this place needs to reevaluate their prices or fix their product.

Nicole H.

Yelp
Go early before the sell out. I was too late to devour one of their croissants, so I settled for the key lime pie. It was amazing! It wasn't too tart and the chantilly cream balanced the tart with a delicate sweetness. The inside tables can quickly get filled up but they have some outdoor seating to enjoy on a sunny day. Parking is ample within the surrounding streets.

Angelica R.

Yelp
had the peach lavender croissant and O. M. G. I wish I didn't absolutely love it. I got there at about 10am on a weekday and there was no line and just a couple of other people at the tables. The cashier was so fast in taking my order I was in and out within 5 minutes. The pastry itself was absolutely amazing and I loved the seasonal flavors.

Terri M.

Yelp
This place was super busy. I actually came because they avocado toast looked really good. The employee said that they dont do avocado toast anymore and havent for about a year. She wasn't a very cheerful person. Odd because someone posted 3 months ago a review on the avocado toast. I got the yuzu meringue pie $12, pain au chocolat $6.50 and canele. $6.50 The canele was completely burnt on the outside, only about 1 bite inside that was edible. I think the baker needs to practice more. The croissant my daughter thought was ehh and greasy. The yuzu pie was super sour. Complete waste of money.

Nicole S.

Yelp
Great vibes and coffee! They make many of their syrups in-house, I really enjoyed the brown sugar latte (half sweet).

Emmy B.

Yelp
Customer service: excellent Ambience: excellent (cafe is small but tons of good ambience in a little package) Bread/pastries: amazing--look at the beautiful layers in their croissants. And it isn't like any other croissants-- it isn't made with a fully white flour like you would see in most store bought croissants. This croissant was speckled with different grains giving it a slightly earthier flavor. You can taste this flavor character in all of their breads and pastries. Great selection of regular and their specialty breads are even better. Foods: I had their Turkish eggs. It is a perfect dish--tasty, creamy, tangy, not too spicy- paired with a piece of toasted robust baguette Will be back for more-- and be sure to keep track of their seasonal menu

Howard B.

Yelp
Second to none when it comes to delicious fine baked goods in the Sacramento region. They have a few brick and mortar stores around and also frequent the farmers markets. You will pay more than you might expect here but I promise to you that it's a worthy investment and your taste buds will thank you endlessly. I could literally live on their polenta olive bread.

Hilda A.

Yelp
The shop is very cute, but tiny, beware. As for the baked goods, mmm I expected better. I was hoping to find amazing products but unfortunately most of the items I got were all too crunchy or dry for my tasting. I like my pastries to be fluffy, soft and moist. I got a ham and cheese croissant and the top of the croissant was very crunchy. I poked it, and the crunchy parts just fell off. Not sure if it's intended to be like this, but it's just not my type.

Natasha B.

Yelp
Stop by this morning to get some miso bread and chocolate croissant delicious, Really flavorful fresh and yummy, oat milk latte was amazing too,

Mia H.

Yelp
Best latte so far in sac like better than anywhere else i've tried... I wish I could give more than 5 stars like I am now spoiled rotten. Got a ham n cheese croissant and the strawberry cream pastry flaky thing that has enough layers to last a literal millennium. Anyway, I'm pretty sure this place exists in heaven and it will permeate my dreams for many years to come. Also the inside is soooo cute and they sell flowers.

Stephanie H.

Yelp
I came at around 10AM on a Saturday. The line was out the door, so be ready for a wait! Once we got in the store, the worker was nice and friendly. Our food came out quickly. I absolutely love the pastries. I got the Kouign-amann and canele. Both were delicious, but the Kouign-amann was definitely my favorite. It had a delicious sweet and salty taste incorporated in the flakiest layers. The store was calm and had space to talk for hours. I would definitely recommend coming here for a catch up with some friends!

Mariya G.

Yelp
I think hands down one of the best pastries I've ever tried! I usually get the almd croissant and their country bread!

Darci K.

Yelp
Faria Bakery brings the wow back to baked goods. I went to Wednesday downtown farmers market during my lunch hour, and was impressed by the variety of baked goods. Pastries, breads, all of the good stuff! I picked up a few pastries for myself and my coworkers. All of the yums. These aren't your basic danish, these are the French delights, that take amazing flavors and escalate those flavors to a whole new level. I also picked up a loaf of the olive and polenta bread. The lovely women that helped me, said it's the best. It is! I brought it home, and the family just loved it! It's chocked full of olives that taste like magic. We tried it toasted with butter, yum! We tried it as sandwich bread, yum! We tried it by itself, Yum! This is seriously one of those finds that I plan on discovering again and again. Lovely people, and tasty treats!

Yelp
For best selection come here early We happened to find an opportunity to stop by Faria Bakery when we attended two Yelp events located along Broadway. Stopped by to see what was left around 1:30p. No line and I was the only customer when I walked in. The selection was sparse but they still had almond croissants. I got half a dozen. Prices were right along Bay Area prices. A little dry to me and somewhat burnt but I guess that's what "twice baked" means... basically a day-old croissant sliced in half and they filled it with a pastry cream or in these croissants, almond frangipani cream, and baked once more to revive the flakiness. Broke off a bite-size piece from the corner and flakes started to fly everywhere. It was dry until I got to the middle. Too flaky and the top part with the almonds were hard. This was my first time at Faria Bakery... if I happen to roll on this side of the hood again I'll be sure to come early for better selection. Street parking only and could be challenging finding one depending what time of day. Review #2925

Yelp
Faria has been one of my new favorite spots in Sac! Found this place last year and would go on Sunday and grab Coffee, fresh baked bread, and of course the famous Kouign-Amann. If you have never had this pastry or don't know what it is I highly highly recommend to get one. It's almost life-changing... no, it is life-changing. The layers of butter and sugar just melt in your mouth. By far my favorite pastry. Anytime I'm exploring a new city It's the one pastry I am always on the hunt for. They also have a wide variety of other pastries, which include him and cheese croissant, chocolate croissant, almond croissant, and coffee cake. In addition to their pastries, they have local organic fresh bread. They have baguettes, brioche, whole wheat, olive, and a few other options. Be sure to check out their seasonal items as well! I like this area because it's up-and-coming, there's seating outdoors, and a few seats indoors as well. Parking is usually free and plenty of it around in the area . The ambience is on point and the staff are super sweet. Love this place and always happy to recommend it to locals and anyone visiting. Coffee is great too!

Yelp
I've gotten pastries and bread from Faria's Bakery stand at the Midtown Farmer's Market many times. This was my first visit at the store in Oak Park. The shop is small and quaint with a super cute window corner v shape seats facing the street. It was lunch time. I was craving for a good sandwich. I got the allll the veg sandwich in country bread with herb labneh, cucumber, avocado, little gem, tomato, & micro greens and added ham (for protein). Their signature country bread was so soft, fresh and moist with a crunchy crust. They spread a light layer of jam or some sort. Gosh, it was delicious and a hearty sandwich. I was full eating half of the sandwich. I also got the pistachios rose lychee cup for dessert. The fluffy pastry was flaky and the rose lychee cream was indescribable. I haven't had anything that smell and taste so good. Friendly service. Street parking only.

Yelp
Faria is consistently the most innovative and delightful bakeries in the sacramento area! They have two stores, one near downtown and one in folsom. Being to both, the quality and amazing staff is consistent across both so I frequently alternate between the two depending on which is closer or if I need a bit more time. This one near downtown does stay open until 3pm versus 2pm in folsom on weekends so that's a small difference! But if you expect to come later, I recommend reserving your pastries online ahead of time. There's been a few cases when I tried to walk in in the afternoon and most of the pastries are already sold out! Parking is mostly street parking, but it hasn't been a huge problem. The interior is super cute and a great place for a cute cafe date! Definitely try if you haven't, but save some of the pastries for me!

Yelp
Came on a sunny but chilly Saturday morning at 10. This place wasn't on our radar at all but we saw a line and we followed suit. The cueue was long and it took about 15 minutes before we got inside the bakery. A couple of inside seats were unoccupied in this small venue when we were ordering so we decided to get a couple of coffees and share an Almond croissant. Checked the Yelp app and found out that the favorites were the Almond Croissant and Morning Bun and that's what we got for take-out. Four items each or two Faria blue boxes. Pastry: Almond croissant was flaky and tasty with the right amount of sweetness from the cream. Coffee: Latte and Cappuccino were perfect morning jolts paired with our lone pastry Service: Fast and Friendly. Definitely worth a repeat visit when in Oak Park.

Yelp
It's such a cute spot! It's tiny, but cozy and the workers are ever polite! The food is a tad bit pricy, but you pay for what you get so it's worth it. Most importantly, the food is too goooooooood!!! I got the Turkish eggs and some canale pastries. Everything smelt, looked, and tasted wonderfully! I'd definitely go back! :)
