Farlam Hall Hotel & Restaurant

A wonderful stay at Farlam Hall Hotel celebrating a milestone birthday. The room was cosy & beautifully decorated, with some lovely touches such as bathrobes, slippers & Molton Brown toiletries. We ate at The Cedar Tree restaurant - this was the absolute highlight. We choose the journey tasting menu & wine flight. Every course was a delight. We would highly recommend a stay at Farlam Hall Hotel.

Beautiful location, stunning hotel with exceptional service and food. Foodie experience package was perfect short break. Delicious food, exciting new tastes, loved the lamb, Scallop, Skate and the bread pairings (chilli sculptured butter) calamansi and Ugandan Vanilla. Such skill blending flavours. Thank you for a warm friendly delightful stay.

We have recently experienced Hrishi’s tasing menu & it was an incredible experience. The very charming Farlam Hall has a relaxed but refined atmosphere. We had attentive service & were educated on every course.|Highlights for us:|Mackerel tart – super fresh bursting with flavour with a fruity hint|Heritage tomato – light & subtle but super tasty|Chilli butter – immense|Lemon sorbet & Farlam gin – the nicest, most refreshing lemon gin |The wine pairing were also excellent choices.|Definitely worth trying!

Fabulous team , really welcoming with outstanding hospitality- the evening tasting menu was truly fabulous, well balanced with real interest and depth of flavour. My wife’s dietary requirements were expertly and discreetly accommodated. Lovely room and gardens- looking forward to returning.

This is the best hotel we have ever stayed in in the UK. All the staff were lovely, the food was great, the room was very comfortable and spacious. the attention to detail is superb. The grounds are outstanding, we were lucky with the weather and the surrounding walks were excellent.

From the moment we drove onto the driveway , my friend and I knew we had come somewhere special. |We were greeted at the entrance to the hotel and immediately made to feel welcome. The whole ambiance was relaxing as we were shown around the hotel, from the super comfortable lounges, bar and luxurious bedroom. |All of the staff were attentive but not intrusive, welcoming , friendly and polite . Having followed the career of Hrishikesh for some time, we were here primarily here for the dining experience but Farlam Hall is so much more than that but of course the food is amazing, with the dining room overlooking the “ Cedar Tree”and pond.|The grounds were a pleasure to sit and relax in and the surrounding area is worth exploring further.|The new Sycamore Retreat is well worth a visit too, my friend and I had the most amazing Indian head massage ever.|Most definitely a place to come back to!

Once again a wonderful stay at Farlam Hall. A lovely welcome upon arrival and three nights of different experiences during the Diwali Celebration. A very enjoyable time with good company, delicious food, fireworks and a lovely walk to a nearby tarn. A celebration not to be missed.
