I stopped by here today for the first time while waiting about 4 hours for a connecting flight. I won't be back.
I sat down at the bar, and I was the only person in the place at 1pm. Not a great first sign. The bartender was attentive at first, and asked me what I wanted. I replied, "A menu."
I ordered a tuna melt and a gin and tonic. The sandwich preparer/cashier should not be in a customer facing service position. They plopped a soggy, grilled tuna melt wrapped in wax paper in front of me. No side, no napkin, no plate - $18. Double G&T $19.
I had to find my own napkins down at the other end of the bar after eating my drippy, soggy sandwich, and the bartender spent her time watching tik tok when my drink ran dry. I had the pleasure of watching the cashier/sandwich artist act irritable and disinterested to each to go customer that has the audacity to order something.
The prices don't match the service, so I won't be surprised when this place goes out of business. Do yourself a favor and head to The San Francisco Giants Clubhouse a few gates down for a exceptional customer service experience. They actually check in with their guests instead of checking their tik tok.
