"While the label of farm-to-table dining gets applied pretty broadly these days, Farm & Table, located on a farm in the village of Los Ranchos de Albuquerque, is true to the practice. Owner Cherie Montoya serves new American dishes with locally sourced touches, like a fried chicken leg with potato, cayenne, radish, and cabbage. Since the restaurant opened, many chefs have cut their teeth manning the burners (including 2024 James Beard nominee Steve Riley at Mesa Provisions and Sean Sinclair at Level 5), and Montoya has celebrated Farm & Table alumni with guest spots at anniversary dinners. While far off the beaten path of Route 66, Farm & Table has influenced the careers of many in the Albuquerque dining scene." - Justin De La Rosa

I heard so many good things about this place and finally got a chance to go there. Outdoor view and ambiance is better than inside but it was hot till after sunset. Customer service was excellent and we got helped when needed. Wine collection is good and we tried couple bottles and we enjoyed. Let’s move to food experience, to be honest food ( appetizers and main course) wasn’t as exciting as I heard . I had Dual lamb , meat was tender but sides were too salty and fatty. We didn’t have desserts so I can’t give a complete review. So far I can give them 4⭐️ and will visit them again.

Came to Albuquerque for a long weekend and looked for a good, local place to eat. Farm & Table is simply phenomenal. Our waitress was amazing. So helpful and cheerful. She talked about other places to eat and really loved her job. The food was amazing. The Fried Green Tomatoes and Potato Leek soup were delicious. Also, the Bolognese with gnocchi was fantastic as was the Cavatelli. The atmosphere is perfect but be prepared to sit outside. Such a great find and highly recommended.

Really cool atmosphere. Pros: -Good food. Pasta and steak were delicious. Homemade bread and butter and charcuterie board were tasty -Cool place to walk around and sit -Chocolate trio was fantastic Cons: -Our server was not good. We learned about the menu and options by hearing from the waitress at the table next to us. He didn’t seem happy to be there nor attentive to our needs. If we had the other waitress, I think our experience would have been much different. -the food is pricy which I can see why but $10 for a few pieces of meat in pasta seems a little over the top.

My wife and I decided a treat was in order to celebrate our anniversary. We opted for Farm and Table I have been to many restaurants here in Albuquerque, and elsewhere, but this was a treat. First the atmosphere and location, it's in Albuquerque's rural north valley. A wonderful, serene location. It just oozes a classy elegance, that fits into Albuquerque's casual vibe. I know it sounds like a contradiction, but it works. The food was amazing. I had the fried chicken, that doesn't do it justice. Fried chicken you can get at a drive through, this was so much better. Crispy tasty batter, and the meat was so moist, so tender just amazing. The service, we were greated when we came and they were so nice to congratulate us on our anniversary. We were made to feel very welcome and appreciated with out being smothered. Our server Allison was fantastic. Her recommendations of wine and appetizer were spot on. She was interested in us and a real pleasure to talk to. It was easily one of my favorite dining out experiences. Just top notch. Go, try it, enjoy it.

Pros: Service was great. Our server was attentive and knowledgeable of the menu. I ordered the 8 oz New York strip. I would have liked a little more potatoes than what I received; I got maybe 5 tiny pieces of potato for the whole dish. The steak was a tad bit on the salty side but it was balanced out with the greens. Overall my experience was good. Cons: The food is pricey for the amount that you receive (even though it’s locally sourced). There were too many flies in the restaurant, which is off-putting in a higher end place.

They are sweet, try, and mean well. Nice location. Unfortunately, as a great chef I worked with used to say, "organic is not an excuse for bad." In the case of Farm & Table, "locally sourced is not an excuse for lack of creativity and omission of salt." Excellent service, but something is just wrong in the kitchen - either insufficient knowledge and training, or overconfidence. Tempura mushroom appetizer was brilliantly done with the lions mane, but the oysters and trumpets were sad and wet/slithery. Dish was missing a sauce... When it came as a side, when is aioli not aoili? When it is completely lacking salt and garlic - then it's in no way an aioli. "Gouda style" arancini were four tiny bites, the base risotto was devoid of salt/seasoning/identity, and the supposed star of the dish was a tiny bit of cheese inside - in no way present or featured. The crust on the arancini was exceptional, however. Pork belly was exceptionally well cooked, both little pieces of it. The glaze was alluring, but lacking in... salt. Accompanied by local-corn-enhanced "hush puppies," the chef needs some remedial fooducation. Hush puppies were wet and bland but should have been slightly cakey, fluffy and full of flavor. With these hush puppies was another not-aioli, magically green and surprisingly missing any flavor, any salt, or any garlic. Pork chop main was enormous. Cooked sous-vide and served with insufficiently salted polenta/grits style local corn, a tasty bite was never to be found. I'm their fervor to avoid overcooking the massive slab of flesh, it was borderline undercooked... Pork can be so delicious when cooked correctly, but too overdone or too underdone as a chop and it remains tough, fibrous, and chewy, which this was. BlackBerry gastrique was just blandly ok. Went on my birthday, and graciously got a candle with the check. Bottle of Nebbiolo wine was fine, nothing interesting. Staff were friendly and helpful, though at first our table want ready for about 10+ minutes though we had a reservation. Again, great service and grounds, and they mean well. Food solidly underwhelming. Very expensive, especially for what you don't get. Perhaps they need to find locally sourced salt? Avoid.

This Famer & Table is a first-class restaurant. My family and I enjoyed eating their healthy food and best wines! Their environment is friendly and breathtaking. We were relaxing and eating the best foods. We gave them the best tip! I love their best waiter, Ivy!

Oh my goodness, what a wonderful first visit to this place. Atmosphere was impeccable, Danielle worked so hard. She seemed concerned, I wanted to tell her to relax because she's doing beyond good. Don't wonder because you should be so much more confident with your ability. Edger, it was fun to watch your good attitude. Speaking of good attitude, You should be so lucky to have this young lady seating your guests! Also, I want to mention who tasty the hummus appetizer was, and the shrimp and grits. Thank you guys!
