Farm Basket renews its plans to brings it iconic chicken cluckers and turkey gobblers to the east side - Eater Vegas

"Eastside fans of Las Vegas institution Farm Basket patiently waited more than a year since the home of cluckers, gobblers, and orange rolls announced a new expansion headed for Nellis Boulevard. And now, updated paperwork reveals the much-anticipated casual restaurant is finally back on track." - Bradley Martin

Great service, clean atmosphere, and delicious food! Haven't eaten Farm Basket since college, I worked at a tint shop near Charleston location. Chicken is very crispy, gravy is delicious, potato salad in on point, and rolls are soft sweet clouds! Spent less than $21, and 4 of us ate good. Can't wait to try their chicken cluckitos, their turkey with mash potatoes or their fingers! Ask for hot sauce to put all of this over the top. Go show love for the E. Charleston and Sahara location.

Visiting town and spotted this place near the house I’m staying at. After a day of playing softball, I just wanted to go grab something to take back to the house and chicken sounded good so I gave it a try. I have to say that I have never heard of Farm Basket, even though it’s evidently been around since 1973. Just ordered some chicken tenders and decided to try the mashed potatoes and gravy because the dude at the counter was talking them up a bit and it sounded good. Boy am I glad I did, that was some of the best mashed potatoes and gravy I’ve ever had. The chicken was very good, and the three sauces I got to dip it in were very good as well. Very happy that I stopped there for my dinner, I enjoyed it very much. Also, as a sidenote, if the dude who was working the counter is not the owner, the owners would be wise to take care of that guy he was awesome. A great ambassador for your brand. I wish I would’ve gotten his name, but I did not. But it was the dude working the counter Saturday, April 12 at around 7 o’clock.

I need to start this review by saying that Farm Basket truly needs to do some serious work or they will lose their chance to re-enter the competitive chicken boom. My wife and I took a break in our evening to grab a bite to eat, and we really wanted to try Farm Basket, so we stopped in to have dinner. The inside is very basic, but it just seems a bit cluttered, and the attraction to sit down inside and eat is " just not there, and it feels like you're in a glass house on full display because of all the windows!" When you see the menu board, it is plain, and the lettering is too small. The food was blah, and the portions were oddly small. Three (3) pieces of chicken fit in a small food boat (1 breast and 2 thighs), with room to spare and the sides were packed into these tiny 1 ounce cups!. Now when it came to flavor, they missed it by a mile and that needs to be changed quickly, chicken tasted like something you would get in a frozen TV dinner, turkey for the Gobbler sandwich was too thickly cut and very lumber wood dry. The macaroni and potato salad have the same exact taste as what you will find at Walmart or Winco, but the coleslaw was actually decent because of the apple cider vinegar kick. Dinner rolls were sadly awful as well... In the end, the food and the atmosphere are that of a school cafeteria, and we will probably just drive by next time knowing that we tried, but won't be eating it again.

Very pissed off! This food was nasty! The chicken was dark….very dark, which is an indication that this restaurant is using old grease. The chicken was not seasoned at all and it was over cooked! The gravy on the mash potatoes was salty and not consistent, and the fries were also salty! I ended up nibbling on my food but threw most of it out! I am very very disappointed!

My husband stopped in to purchase a three piece meal. He told them our last visit to the Henderson location was disappointing. This location delivered. Our chucken was hot and delicious. The fries were cooked to perfection. Oh we, The cashier was so helpful and full of energy . He showed pride working for this company. I love it!! Thanks for an awesome experience!!

Not it. My husband went through the drive thru this evening and got us a 10 piece chicken tender for dinner. I was looking forward to eating them as the chicken is rally really juicy and fresh here. I opened the chicken and realized it looked a little overcooked. So I said let me try them first.. I took a bite of the chicken tender and I kid you not it tough and drier than the Sahara desert. Like you immediately need water to digest the bite. I called the store to speak to the manager and I was advised they could give me a discount next time as they assured me that the chicken was fresh and was made 5 mins before my husband picked it up.. I’ve eaten a lot of chicken in my life and these chicken tenders are so tough and hard to bite. Also they are most definitely not fresh, tastes like they’ve been sitting for a while or cooked in really old oil. Idk if I’ll come back to this place or at least not this location, the sides were already trash and now the chicken is as well.
