Google
Jade created a delicious “Figgy Stardust” bratwurst that had arugula pesto, fig preserves, and candied walnuts on top. It was an unusual and wonderful combination! She was great in letting me know that it was her new creation and to let her know if I liked it or not. I loved it!!

Google
I've never been to Ashville & FarmDogs was the first place I stopped for food. Jade was amazing & her idea of Pig in the Pen was the best thing I ever tried. I've tried bratwurst before & didn't like it but i recommend getting the Pig in the Pen with the bratwurst here, its so freaking good! Thanks Jade! I plan on stopping by next time I'm out here.

Google
$9 plus tax and tip for a brat smaller than my hand. Unbelievable. Flavor is fine, nothing to complain (or write home) about but for the size this thing should be $7 max. And I specifically asked for no cheese and ordered the brat with mustard and kraut and was charged for the cheese any way (it’s listed as the Farm Brat on the menu for $8.99 but if ordered as the brat with those 2 toppings it should have been $8.50… minor but it’s the principle). For an actual full sized brat this price would be fine but this thing is only like 5 inches long. It fits in a small to-go clamshell. I work downtown and won’t be going back unless the prices come down or the brat gets bigger.

Google
We had the Farm Brat, the Farm Dog, and soft pretzel knots. The sauerkraut on the brat was zingy and delicious. The hot dog in the farm dog had an excellent flavor on its own but was elevated with the savory chili plus the pop of pizazz from the green tomato chow chow. All the different flavors worked together to make a wonderful symphony of flavors for a hot dog! The spicy mustard for the pretzel had what appeared to be horseradish in it which was excellent. Just be aware before you take a tremendous bite of the mustard...it hits hard similar to the effervescent punch from Wassabi. We took our food upstairs and enjoyed beer alongside our food.

Google
Really cool take on your traditional Hot dog and brat. Got the special which had pineapple, bacon jam, teriyaki, mayo, and green onions. It was really good. Also got a pretzel knot that was very good as well.

Google
I was so hungry I didn't get a picture, and honestly, Carolina dogs aren't much to look at --- it's slaw on top of chili on a hot dog --- but DAMN they do them right here. Really good chili, none of that canned slop.

Google
The farm dog was exactly what I was craving. To respond to everyone else’s comments— yes it tastes like a fairly regular Hot Dog but you’re paying for the locally sourced meat. I was glad to support local. Anyway I enjoyed my Hot Dog with house made lemonade. I went back for the pretzel bites. They were pretty bland but next time I’d like to try them with the cheese from Highland Brewing. The service was great. The woman running the stand even refilled my lemonade before I left. Service was great and fast. I will definitely be eating there again

Stopped in to farm dogs and was taken care of by Jade. She suggested the Irish car dog and man was that a home run. What a good bratwurst combination!.

Yelp
As far as hot dogs go, this is one of the best I've ever had. The hot dog was about 3/4 of an inch thick and it was very juicy. It also had a nice texture to it. The guy who was working there really cared about his product too as he placed the toppings on ever so carefully. It was beautiful. He was also very nice and accommodating. I will definitely go back any day of the week.

Yelp
Fast, cheap, and tasty! It's hard to beat a good hot dog; in my opinion. You can tell that the meat they use is high quality. I had mine with all of the free toppings. This is located inside the S&W Cafeteria building. Despite some confusing conflicting reports on Google, their website, Yelp, etc, they were indeed open on Tuesday. Head on over!

Yelp
Farm Dogs is one of the kiosks in the S&W Market- a beautiful food hall in downtown Asheville. I had the Farm Dog-hot dog on a soft bun with beef cheek chili, slaw, & chopped onions. The bun was so soft when I took 1st bite it broke right into so I had to eat my hot dog with a fork. The combination together of the local grass fed hot dog & toppings was delicious but so smothered in toppings I couldn't differentiate the meat from a pack of Nathan's! My husband built his own with chili & mustard. We also shared the pretzel knots. It was too early for the beer cheese to be ready. Beware that Lusty Monk mustard really has a bite to it! The server was fast & efficient & did a good job early on a Saturday AM.

Yelp
Ordered the Farm Dog, which was a Carolina-style dog, and it had beef cheek chili, chopped onions, and housemade cole slaw. I enjoyed the hot dog at the base of it all, and the onions went well with the coke slaw. The beef cheek chili was also delicious. Service was fast, and the ambiance was cafeteria style with multiple establishments.

Yelp
Farm Burger but ALL THINGS HOT DOGS. I love a hot dog so I was excited when Farm Dogs opened in the new food hall in Asheville. Their menu is small but mighty and includes a few classic hot dogs and sausages but the key is to get their daily special. These range from hot dog grilled cheeses to the most recent one we got which had various veggies and an aioli on it. The hot dogs are perfectly grilled and all natural and the buns are balanced (nothing worse when there is way too much bread). Stop here when you're downtown even if it's just for a quick snack!

Yelp
We wanted to check out the new food hall on our most recent trip to Asheville and thought this food stall looked good once we were there. We got the Farm Sausage and a Peach Lemonade which came with free refills. The sausage was great. I loved the beer cheese that came on top. The lemonade was refreshing. If you're at S&W Market, give this place a try!

Yelp
I love a good dog with a good snap! Farm Dogs Asheville has it going on!!! Best dog I've had in a while... -CM

Yelp
The dogs were good, aside from being $10 for a 4in hotdog that hardly could hardly satisfy as an appetizer.

Yelp
Like Farm Burger? Try Farm Dog! This is a new hotdog 'stand' located in the S&W Market on Patton Avenue brought to you by the founders of Farm Burger. I've always said we need quick bites around Asheville and this fills that void perfectly. Quick, easy and still keeping to the high standards of Asheville food, these dogs and brats are ethically sourced from Asheville based companies. The price seemed a little high~ it's probably the most I've ever spent on a hotdog. For two dogs without drinks it came to a little under $15. They should also consider offering the option of a bag of chips and/or a cookie to go with the hotdog. It was a good meal and fun to sit upstairs and people watch while we ate. Highland Brewing has beer on tap which was perfect for washing down the hotdogs. There are other vendors there as well that serve tacos, Thai street food, chicken and ice cream. Go check it out~ there's something for everyone in your group!

Yelp
Great hotdogs and sausage in the S&W building/food hall. Great taste and you have to get some of the pretzel knots!!! No they're handmade peach lemonade is incredible and the staff are very friendly. Great option in the food hall

Yelp
Food is fine. Service seems to follow the motto: the customer is always wrong.:) Rude.

Chris A.

Yelp
I ordered the Market Dog, which comes topped with tomatoes, pork belly, and chimichurri. As a side, I got the pretzel knots with beer cheese. Overall, everything was quite good. The pork belly was a little bland and the beer cheese could have been richer, but I left satisfied.

Yelp
Man! Great place to grab a great dog while running around downtown. Fin helped us out and was super cool answering our hotdog related questions. Totally recommend
