Farmand's Kitchen

I came here with my three kids, ages 0, 3, and 6 on a Sunday night around 5:00 and it wasn't too crowded. It was perfect weather for sitting on the outdoor patio/deck! The staff is friendly and service is great, it has a cute interior and vibin' exterior with a playground and some open lawn with cornhole. There is plenty of seating outside and inside, from tables and chairs to lounging type community seating. There are a couple of TVs, and a bar area. We ordered the Kids Mac and Cheese, Kids Beef Sliders, Farmand's Steak Wrap (substitute normal fries with sweet potato fries), Skinny Margarita, and Lavender Bramble. Everything was great, although my kids did not like the mac and cheese as it's not the typical mac and cheese (it's not very cheesy and kinda bland...) so that's why we ordered the beef sliders which they liked. The prices on the main meals are a bit steep, but that's to be expected as it's farm to table food. I had a chill time hanging out with my 4 month old while the kids played. Definitely a place to check out and hang out at with your family or significant other. We will be back!

Farmand’s Family Kitchen is such a hidden gem! Every dish I’ve tried has been absolutely delicious and fresh, you can tell they put real care into the food. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, perfect for a family outing. I also love that they have a playground for the kids—it makes the experience so much easier and enjoyable for parents. Definitely a great spot for both good food and quality family time. The service is great.

My family drove from Cedar Park to visit this place largely due to their kid friendly ambiance. I did make a reservation (I would highly suggest you make one) and when we arrived we were seated in doors which was somewhat of a bummer because I wanted to be able to let my littles play freely outside on the playground- however I just want to say that everyone at this establishment pulled out all the stops for us. They were able to find a space outside to accommodate us. Every single person we encountered during our visit made our visit 10/10. (I.e. we were directly in the sunlight and it was pretty toasty outside and one of the outdoor staff opened an umbrella for us just on a whim). Our waiter was fabulous, hostess, the drinks, the chicken sliders were delish! We ordered chicken fingers for our littles and they were definitely hand battered/homemade which was nice! Would visit again!

Previously Moonies Burgers—location at least. Incredible upgrade worth visiting. Food was great for our party of 16, no one disliked a dish they ordered, most liked the dishes a lot. Had a wrap. Very good. Atmosphere is far far better than earlier establishment that was here. Entirely new set up and build out very nice. Photos are a bit odd as there are so many people here would love to show it but hey it’s packed.

Very, very hospitable and friendly owner - Tony Such a cute / almost date night like vibe outside. Some subtle music would be awesome! There are tables below big oak trees. Tastefully done! The lighting etc. High touch. High, high quality ingredients. So fresh! Superb service! Really good. Nina especially. Legendary - as good as it gets • Old fashioned. Challenge you to find an almost equal one. Super Loved - order single time • Dirty martini • Ginger margarita - touch too sweet • . • That chicken burger was insane! • Chicken Caesar wrap • Farmand’s bowl • Harvest Greens Bowl * hummus with superb bread. If I could give more stars I would!! Phenomenal service, menu and combinations you can do, drinks, atmosphere, taste!!! The details in absolutely everything! It’s romantic, family friendly, cool!! This will be our new go-to place, I feel like family here thanks to the team! Aiden was our rockstar server today! Everyone came by to check on us on their way to their tasks. I came here for lunch with two friends and my friend’s two-year-old and had a great experience! I ordered the steak wrap with sweet potato fries and both were delicious! The steak wrap was very flavorful and fresh. Food came quickly. Our waiter, Jake, was very attentive, answered our questions and gave suggestions. The outdoor seating area is beautiful with a large fenced in grassy area with playground and games. Perfect for the kids! Highly recommend.

We loved it! 1st time in and everything was so fresh and delish! We loved the pimento cheese & pretzel, burger & sweet potato fries, and BLT salad with steak! YUM! The BEST part of the meal though were the PEOPLE who worked here! Sophia was our server and she was so kind and fun! EVERYONE was great!

Really great concept. I wish the food was a little bit better. Hopefully they'll get a more advanced menu and offer things that are a little bit more tasty I like the chicken wings, but I wish there were more appetizers that were appetizing. I just wish the menu was a little bit bigger and they did everything just a little bit classier... I think it's way overpriced for the quality.. I wish they had more salads with entrée toppings. I wish their sauces were more flavorful. I wish they had more variety of appetizers that were good for a group or like a beer or burrata salad possibly a high nacho.... I also found their drinks to be too sugary and sweet maybe copy something like a peche or do some mussels or some sort of French influence

Went here recently with my family and enjoyed the food, drinks and environment. Outdoor area is spacious and little ones can also have space to run around or play with the slides. Saw some reviewer saying food is pricier but this restaurant isn't trying to be all cheap like Applebees, this place is higher quality ingredients. Check out their menu online and see all the options - for appetizer you have to try their chicken wings, very tasty unlike any other places that does wings. The convenience is great too because of the large parking lot and you can get your grocery shopping done at Randall's right after your meal. This is a nice edition to the area. The service was also good, they were attentive and very friendly.

Overpriced food that's mid and service was not good. Good space for kids outside but better value to bring take out to a playground than eat here.

The food here is quite good. First off, the ambiance is spot on. Open, bright, excellent outdoor patio area. The food is fresh, well prepared and tasty. We had the Farmand Burger and BLT salad. Both were very good. Would love to see the burger be more of a traditional smash burger as the meat patties were just a bit small for the size of the bun but the portion is good and the flavor is really good. You can tell the meat is ground fresh and the special sauce is very good. The fries are outstanding. The salad is packed with fresh veggies and the dressing is quite good. Service was fast and friendly. Our Server Giovanni was excellent! Will be back to try a few more items.

What an excellent addition to the area. While we don't live in Steiner, we 100% have a reason to drive down. We came in on a Saturday around 5 and were able to get a table for the 8 of us. By the time we left, every table was filled. Whether you have kids or not, this place has something for everyone. From the massive gated play area, to the 21+ outdoor section, it was truly well thought out. We ordered a variety of items including the steak frites, steak wrap, and burgers along with a few of orders off the kids menu. (Big shoutout to have steak frites on the kids menu too!). All of the food and drinks were fantastic. The service was great, and I could go on and on around the outdoor area and play scape the built out. We'll definitely be back!

Steiner Ranch has a new STAR in town!!! Farmand's Kitchen you are the new gem that Steiner has been waiting for! The space is so versatile. From girls night to date night to bringing the whole family. Inside has a crisp clean and modern aesthetic, the enormously large patio is perfect for a romantic date night or family outing while watching the kiddos enjoy the playground onsite. The staff is beyond five stars! Very helpful and attentive to your every need. We had the pleasure of meeting the GM, Abdel. He runs a top notch staff that leaves no detail unmet when it comes to customer service and an unforgettable dining experience. We tried an array of the best bites that included: Salmon - Literally my favorite salmon now. So tender, juicy and flavorful. Steak - I love me a medium rare steak. The steak was cooked to my liking and the chimichurri was the golden touch. You will leave dreaming about it! Chicken Wings - Perfect crisp and flavor. Finger licking good! Such a lovely restaurant! I can't wait to go back to enjoy the amazing atmosphere and more dishes! Cheers to the best restaurant in town!

Just checked out Farmhand's Kitchen, and honestly? I'm pretty sure I'm in a serious relationship now. This place is so new it's still breaking in, but already feels like the hometown hero of my stomach. The food? Here's the lineup of deliciousness that'll have you reconsidering all your past meals: Chicken Wings -- crispy enough to snap your fingers to, and packed with flavor that should probably come with a warning Steak -- so juicy and tender it basically whispers sweet nothings to your taste buds Salmon -- buttery, flaky, and smooth enough to slide right into your DM's (if fish could do that) The patio? Gorgeous and perfect for brunch, first dates, or pretending you're working remotely while really just eating snacks. Shoutout to Abdel, the general manager, who runs the place like a pro -- friendly, organized, and probably the reason everything feels so seamless. So, if you're in Austin and still haven't tried Farmhand's Kitchen, what are you even doing? Go hungry, bring your appetite, and prepare to fall hard

Went with the family and while everyone generally enjoyed the food, opinions were a bit mixed. I found my burger to be very tasty and satisfying but a bit on the dry side. French fries were totally awesome. One of the kids described the chicken strips as having a weird after taste but finished everything. Another was not the biggest fan of the mac & cheese. I gave it a taste and thought it was a bit light on sauce. The Farmand's bowl was very tasty with a good spice level in the sauce, and adding steak was a good move. As for the service, Giovanni took great care of us and apologized that the kids did not receive utensils. He said they are trained not to provide them to kids generally because most of the options are finger foods. I can respect that, but napkins should probably be placed at the seats at least. The hostess also only provided two menus for the party, notably fewer than the number of guests. Not a big deal but a bit unusual. The ambience is fairly relaxed but polished, inside and out. It's clear they put a lot of effort into creating an upscale environment, particularly compared to the restaurant that previously occupied the space. One other note is that they push a bit to provide a 5 star review or to contact them directly instead of leaving a lower star review. This doesn't feel awesome to me, though I realize it might not bother others. The free kettle corn is a nice bonus on the way out, even if it's part of the request for 5 star reviews. Overall, if I could give a rating that wasn't restricted to whole numbers, it would be somewhere between 4 and 5, but 5 is a bridge too far. I look forward to coming back, and particularly hope to enjoy the outdoor seating when the temperature is a bit cooler. They had a modest cocktail list and a few milkshakes on the menu that I'd like to try as well.

Stopped in for lunch and we'll be back for sure! The design is gorgeous and has a much better flow than the previous restaurants in this location. You can tell how much thought was put into every detail. We were greeted immediately with a smile by Carly, who was also our waitress. She clearly knew the menu and was able to make great suggestions (especially the blackberry margarita with a tajin rim). Everything felt elevated, from the table tops to the floors to the tile backsplash, and we loved the murals. They put just as much thought into the outside, creating different spaces for different types of people, including a shaded area that's only for 21 and up, and of course, the renovated playground with four slides. Carly's service was great and we even got to meet the owner, and had a nice conversation with him as well. The best part, though, was the food. My Husband had the Farmand's burger with sweet potato fries, which were both absolutely delicious and cooked to perfection. I had the chicken Caesar wrap with Texas dusted fries. Also delicious and cooked to perfection. The tortilla was excellent, I'm not sure if it was made in-house, but I wouldn't be surprised if it was, it was so fresh and thin and giant. To top it all off, My Husband had an Oreo shake. We would absolutely order everything again however, the menu has so many incredible options that I cannot wait to try everything else they have to offer.

I decided to check out this new restaurant in Steiner Ranch that just opened. When I walked in I was pleasantly surprised as I walked in the door and walked through the restaurant and went outside and I thought, what a beautifully stylish venue. This place reminded me something that you might see in the galleria area in Houston. This place had a wonderful vibe. I met the owner Tony, a great guy and I said I've got to bring my wife back. When we came back we ordered the Farmand's Steak Wrap and the Mediterranean Mezze and all we could say was WOW. The wrap was an explosion a flavor and the hummus was the best I have ever had!!!

The best thing to happen to Steiner in a long time. We have desperately needed another restaurant option and Farmand's has absolutely delivered. From the atmosphere, service to food everything was fantastic. The food portions were a true to everything is bigger in Texas size. We will absolutely be making this a regular go to spot to stop in for drinks and food.

The grilled chicken Caesar wrap was phenomenal, and the sweet potato fries were absolutely delicious! We loved the outside scenery with the fenced in play area for children to run and play. The service was great, Giovanni was very attentive and took care of our large party with care!

This is a great little neighborhood place with freshly prepared food and a particularly solid burger. Cocktails are on point, too. Decidedly family oriented -- if you aren't here with a stroller, do you even exist? -- and as a result quite raucous, but considering the scene and neighborhood, it all works out pretty well. I'll be back!

Went for lunch after church. Harvest Greens Bowl with salmon was amazing! HIGHLY recommend. Also had the ginger Margarita which was good also. Hubby had fried chicken sliders and he was underwhelmed by those. Buns were stale and presentation wasn't great. He also ordered butternut squash as a side which was very good! Our server, Kimmie was great also!

Excellent food , great quality and great service. Our waitress was Micaela and she was great! The owner is super friendly and the place is bright with natural light and has a great ambiance. This has become a regular spot for me. Congrats you guys on this place !

Not a very inviting ambiance just didn't feel comfortable in the atmosphere, decent food but not worth the price. Service was awkward, $20 for a mid burger? No thank you, not for me.

Alright Steinerites! We really have a great new restaurant here. I just tried Farmand's. So I have only tried two things this far but I am on board. I had the beef wrap and the beet salad. Both were very good. The wrap was huge, the meat was nicely cooked and I love the sauce. The beet salad has that delicate baby lettuce that I like. The place is very clean. I am kind of amazed at the remodeling they did. It's a lot. The kitchen is in a different side now. The staff is helpful and enthusiastic about the menu. Giovanni waited on me. He was wonderful. I know, I will return

Drinks and food on POINT! Giovanni made our lunch perfect with great service!! The harvest bowl with added chicken is perfect with chicken breast cooked just right and the sweet notes just give this bowl a delicate balance.

So glad Farmands just opened in Steiner Ranch! We started with the Mediterranean plate - so fresh and delicious. For dinner, the salmon and steak frites were both excellent, and the drinks were just as good. Loved the modern décor and cool vibe - such a great addition to the area and only a quick drive from Lakeway. I'll definitely be coming back often!

We ordered redfish burger and pesto pasta. Amazing food, the place is clean and family friendly. I wish they were pet friendly on their patio and have some more options for chicken wrap. Giovanni is awesome.

Highly recommend. Very good food and was surprised at how much space there is for seating. Went in with my family and young son, and we were able to both eat and he was able to play in the large play area outside. The shaded trees and plants in the area helped keep us cool as well even when outside. For anyone with a family or young kids I would highly highly recommend. We will be back for both lunch and dinner.

Great service, but uncomfortable seats (benches) outside. Seats were comfortable inside but at night-time the place was extremely loud. It was hard to talk at our table when we were inside. I went twice and the food quality was fine but was just okay taste wise. Tried the Farmand's Bowl and Steak Frites. The bowl was solid but not enough meat and vegetables, too much rice. For both the bowl and the steak frites, the flavor was good but it was a bit overcooked (ordered medium rare, came out around medium well). Drinks were a bit weak in strength, but decent in flavor. It was definitely fine in quality, nothing worrying, but the prices were a bit steep for what you get. Overall, I'm curious to see how this place fairs in the upcoming months, hopefully they improve some issues bc their service and location is great!

So I have got to say, this place is a much needed addition to our restaurant options in the area. Too often we struggle with where to go eat out and Farmand's has hands down made it to the top of our list. We have tried almost half the dishes at this point and have not been disappointed. The wings are amazing, and you can't go wrong with the streak wrap! Their cheese burger is perfect with gooey melted cheese and a side of their fries! The staff have been nothing but helpful, courteous and very well trained. If anyone had been to the location when it was the burger joint before, you will have a hard time believing it even looked that bad. They have totally transformed the inside (and the patio) into a verve beautiful restaurant, welcoming and comfortable. We look forward to coming here for years to come!!!

We just had our 4 & 2 years olds birthday party here and the staff could not have been more amazing! The food was great, service was prompt, and the play area was excellent! The huge gated playground allowed plenty of space for the kids to run around without feeling overcrowded. I love how we were able to relax and watch the kids easily! Thank you again to Tony and staff for amazing service and accommodations!!

We sat outside and enjoyed the patio and playground. Happy hour is 3-6pm and I enjoyed the wings! Love what they've done with the place and the playground has been refreshed and the kids had a great time. Madi was our server and was A+!

Food was delicious! The Texas Dusted wings were so good, and the Harvest Greens bowl was just as great. Sitting out by the fenced-in playground couldn't have been smoother ...there was a beautiful sunset and breeze, and the toddlers played safely while we enjoyed our meal. While everything we ordered was excellent, the service was a bit all over the place. It seemed like much of the staff was new and still in training. There was some confusion ...from delivering the wrong meals and drinks to forgetting silverware and small plates when we were seated. We found ourselves having to ask for several basics. That said, we completely understand how important proper training is, especially for a new restaurant, and we're confident things will smooth out with time. The one piece of feedback we'd share is about the happy hour pricing -- it felt just like regular menu pricing. We even found ourselves asking, "Wait, is this the happy hour price?" A little more of a noticeable discount would definitely make it feel more "happy hour" worthy

Farmands is exactly what Steiner Ranch needed. This new restaurant strikes the right balance between quality food and welcoming atmosphere - something our area has been missing. The staff is genuinely friendly and the owners were present during opening weekend, actively engaging with customers. The space is well-designed and comfortable, suitable for both casual and nicer dining occasions. Most importantly, the food is incredible. Everything we tried was fantastic and served by an attentive staff. It's clear the kitchen takes pride in their work, and the menu offers good variety without trying to do too much.

Very nice remodel. You can tell they put money into the space and it was worth it! The bronzed redfish sandwich is amazing! Micaela was our server and she was so nice and her suggestions were spot on!

What a cool addition to the neighborhood! I've been trying to find a great gastropub in this area and Farmand's exceeded my expectations. Trendy looking spot that provides both a lively atmosphere while also being very family friendly. The cocktails we ordered were on point. Wifey raved about their lavender bramble and I loved their old fashioned. The menu is really diverse so there was something for everyone's preferences in our group. The maple mustard salmon and center cut filet were both delicious! We had a chance to meet the owner Tony who was nice enough to stop by and ask us how everything was. Will definitely be back!

All I have to say is THANK YOU, Farmand's for bringing a family-friendly + allergy-friendly establishment to the Steiner hood! Our server, Brandon, was ahhhhhhhmazing + accommodating beyond measure. Executive Chef, Matt Price, came over to our table personally to review my son's laundry list of allergies and conjured up all sorts of customized options for Epi-carrying kids. My hubby & I had some yummy drinks while our kiddo played outside, too. We are ELATED to finally have a local watering hole & delicious food spot so catering to our family:)

Farmands is such a fun and unique concept that I haven't seen a lot of. It's a family friendly atmosphere, with lots of space, big decks and a literal playground and yard for kids to play! Couple that with a gorgeously-designed restaurant and bar, plus professional chef crafted food. This is a must try and repeat visit if you're anywhere near Steiner Ranch!! You will not be disappointed. Love it!

Ordered picanha, which traditionally has a fat cap. Did not get picanha. Overall theme of this restaurant is server is in high school and forgets parts of your Order & that 100% of your order is freezer food with an up charge.
