The 14 Best Restaurants & Hotels In Wilmington, Delaware

"Go for the burgers, stay for over 400 types of whiskey, served neat or stirred and shaken into a broad selection of cocktails. You could easily walk into Farmer & The Cow at 2pm for a late lunch and find yourself still there many hours later, elbows deep in boozy shakes, truffle tots, and many pours of brown liquor. The atmosphere is pretty casual and a little divey, exactly the type of place where you might make friends with the group at the other end of the bar." - maddy sweitzer lamme

Great spot… atmosphere & food! Food taste fresh and delicious. My mushroom Swiss burger was meaty & tasty. Glad they had a healthier option to fries that was right on point. The chicken & waffles salad entree in left corner that we shared was very good but we finished it off before this pick. 😋 They also have a large bourbon & whisky collection for people to check out.

Came for lunch, the burgers are unique and tasted soooo good. Best burger I’ve ever had. I ordered the Morning Glory. Our server Brittany was so sweet too!! Definitely coming back here. The atmosphere is so cute and chill.

Stopped in on a late Saturday afternoon for lunch. Menu is heavily burger, but makes sense given the name. We got the Closed on Sunday fried chicken sandwich, Rodeo King burger and the Frankie McFurter hot dog. All were good, but the hot dog was like a foot long dog on a regular size bun, so half the dog didn't have a bun or the toppings, so it doesn't really work except as a novelty. The other sandwiches were good, as were the fries. The price points seem high, $20 for a burger and $14 for a hot dog with fries, as well as $4 for a 12 oz bottle of soda. Apparently the fresh iced tea was all sold out as well. Add to that, although we saw it on the menu after the fact, getting charged $2 for filtered tap water was insulting. It's $2, and unlimited, whether for one or the table, so it was $2 for me to have a glass of water, but I guess I saved $2 since they were out of iced tea.

Google
Great burgers, great shakes, and amazing atmosphere. The burgers are stacked, quality meat and fresh seasoned fries to go with. The shakes are flavorful and unique. The staff is always awesome ! Best burger in Wilmington.

Google
Tremendous whiskey and bourbon selection! Great and unique food. The Bao Burger with chicken skin, chili, and slaw was mouth watering. The Korean brussel sprouts were delicious. Excellent service and knowledgeable staff.

Google
The burger meat was dry(Farmer and the bao) and so were the Korean bbq wings. Without the added sauces, the burger/wings would’ve been a total miss. The fries were well seasoned and probably the best part of the meal. The chicken fried bacon was very good and well seasoned. The stateside(surfside) iced tea was marked as $8 on the menu, but showed as a $9 charge on the bill. Make sure your menu shows the correct prices. Overall, I would try a different burger if I were to return. And I would probably skip the wings.

Google
This place is the food and drink highlight of my 2025. The year is young but I doubt it will be beaten. My brother and I went here after I read about their extensive whiskey collection. It did not disappoint. However it is one thing to have a lot of bottles. It is an entirely different experience to have John recommending and pouring those bottles. He came to our table, asked us some questions about what we liked and delivered some amazing pours. The food was also incredible. We had the pork belly which I could have eaten all night, the wings which were very good, and the famous chicken skins which lived up to the hype. The OG burger was fantastic and so was the IPA I washed it down with. We ended up closing down the place but they just kept up the master class on bourbon. I can't wait to head back. I do wish they had a kids menu though.

Google
Came here for a late lunch—great food, great beer, and great service (shout out to Monty!) we both got burgers and my only complaint is my mouth is too small. 😂 Loved the seasoned fries!

Yelp
Upon multiple recommendations I have this place a shot for my one "burger of the month". I self-limit to a single burger to stay in shape so it's got to be good. The burger did not disappoint. Cooked nearly perfectly. Happy friendly staff. Worth the trip into Wilmington. (And not much is) Stop by the independent bookstore Huxley and Hiro for some interesting reads after dinner. Great shop and knowledgeable staff.

Yelp
I was in town for a memorial service and my family and I needed to stop somewhere to eat lunch beforehand. I really enjoyed the caesar salad with the diet coke. We really enjoyed the food and the names on the menu were quite clever. The salad and my burger were both pretty good because the dressing to lettuce ratio was perfect. It's pretty hard to mess up a Caesar salad but I give them tons of props for it. My family enjoyed their meals as well. Even though we were there for a somber occasion, we were still able to enjoy the delicious food and the kindness of the people that were serving us. I would gladly come back the next time I'm in the neighborhood.

Yelp
We had the Brussels sprouts salad--the 3 of us really enjoyed it. We also had the Apple Brie burger with French fries and we liked it but not a rave. Our server, sadly I don't remember her name, was extremely helpful, polite, professional and good natured. It's a modern feeling inside but still a warm kind of place in the front room where the bars is. We were seated in the back which was ok but not much to say about it. Overall recommend and we will certainly come back.

Yelp
Perfect spot for a pre show hangout or just a Wilmington visit if you love burgers and drinks! I highly recommend reservations, it was slow when we arrived at 5:30 but within an hour things were jumping and at least a 2 hour wait if you hadn't gotten a table. Do not sleep on this space! I loved that they have a witty modern flare on their burgers and drinks and it's not JUST a whisky bar. I love my fruity sweet cocktails and their Pink Pony Club was refreshing and perfectly whimsical bested only by their other gin option Angels Share which added tang of blackberry which makes me wistful remembering now. The service was a little wonky- we ordered mac and cheese as an appetizer but it didn't appear until it came out with all our entrees and was desperately underseasoned. Most of it went home with one of us to be rehabbed and enjoyed another time. But the wait staff were super relaxed, checking in, and really creating a pleasant atmosphere. I liked that you had different protein options for EACH burger and the salmon isn't a salmon cake- it's actual whole salmon! Very impressive. I love that you can get beers and whisky and great cocktails along with solid bar food. I think the drinks outshine the food but overall will tell everyone to check this star of Wilmington.

Yelp
We come back again and again for great service and excellent food! We finally tried something other than the burgers and really enjoyed the salad with crunchy maple waffle croutons and the reverse buffalo wings! The Turkey burger special for November is my absolute favorite and something I go back for every year!

Yelp
First time here. Didn't disappoint. Food, beer, service all excellent. Owner is super cool and passionate about his restaurant. Had the chicken fried bacon for my app. Loved it. Morning Glory burger with sausage patty, hash brown on top. Wow! Tots were top notch. Hostess/waitress friendly and awesome. Looking forward to coming again.

Yelp
What a disappointing experience. I had come a couple years ago and thought it was really delicious, so on a road trip, brought my family here for lunch. It wasn't a busy time of day, but it still took an hour to get our food, and the fries were way over-fried. With one exciting, the burgers, though pricey, were good, but not worth a special stop. The Moo caliente had a very thick pepper paste that made it inedible, even to a hard-core spicy food fan.

Yelp
Nice inner city Burger bar that has a simple menu. Yet, an amazing level of variety in cocktails, Burger options and taste. Came in after work, pre-rush hour. The dimly lit, wooden interior recalls colonial saloons of the 18th century. The slender dining and bar area is a perfect fit for their simple menu. You can never go wrong with simplicity, especially when paired with decadent libations. Their cocktails, Peach Please, and Honeymaker are good and strong. The Korean style BBQ Brussel Sprouts were delicious and plentiful. The wings were a perfect size and very tasty. The FTC burger was large, well done, juicy and so so guuud.

Yelp
Burgers, bourbon, and craft beers are some of my favorite things, and Farmer & The Cow features that trifecta of glory in the best way possible! I happened upon here somewhat by accident since I found out the hard way that Stichhouse Brewery was no more and I was looking for a backup place to eat at before seeing Gogol Bordello at The Queen. And it turned into a happy accident when I pulled up to the bar and realized that it was filled with fellow show revelers. And upon taking in the vast selection of beer taps, the extraordinary whiskey list, and the well-rounded selection of cocktails I was given a lot more to love. For drinks I appreciated that the tap list had plenty of IPAs, sours, seasonals and more, and it featured a good mix of craft beers, locals, and regular brews. the bourbon and whiskey list was HUGE, but they also featured other spirits in their extensive cocktail list and even had a few tempting-sounding zero-proof cocktails. And for those drinking on a budget they even had a Philly style Citywide special with a PBR & shot of Molort. Fr food I couldn't resist their burgers since they're a hand-crafted blend of chuck, brisket, and filet on a gluten-free roll, and reading it's name almost had me yelling, "That's What Brie Said!". The burger was perfectly medium rare and came with bourbon apples, prosciutto, brie, and a balsamic reduction. Toss in a side of truffle tots and I was on cloud nine! So long as this farmer comes also harvests monthly specials, delicious sounding milkshakes, and CHICKEN FRIED BACON, I have more than enough reason to travel back here for more!

Yelp
The foundation is definitely there. The concept is clear, the staff is friendly, & the food has potential - I think they were just having an off night when we were there. The fried chicken skins were phenomenal. I absolutely loved the dipping sauce, too. They were the perfect appetizer & I would totally order them again. But for a place that really emphasizes their burgers, our burgers fell flat. My burger was cooked entirely to the wrong temp (totally rare when I requested medium) & the actual burger itself was so underwhelming. It lacked flavor (it was so bland & devoid of even simple salt) & cohesion (it fell apart after just a few bites). Again, the concept is totally there. They've definitely got the right idea. I just hope that in the future, especially if they're really highlighting themselves as a burger joint, they put a bit more care into their product. I wish them the best.

Yelp
Wow. So much more than just a burger joint. Reservation for 6:30 last night. Our table was ready and seated right away. Courtney took amazing care of us. GM was out and about making sure everything was perfect. Even our food runner was super nice. Fantastic local draught beer choices and the whiskey wall was epic. A bit too pricey for me to go with bourbon. For a small menu, it really is packed with amazing choices and you can choose your protein for just about anything. Creative handhelds that really stand out. Salmon burger was huge and perfect. Hemp pesto so unique. Even the side salad (no upcharge) had incredible crunch. Highly recommend a visit.

Yelp
Good experience here at the Farmer and the Cow. Metered street parking in the immediate area...free after 6pm. I was able to find a spot a block away. Great environment...very neat and well-maintained. Lots of seating at the bar, counter-height tables in the front and standard-height tables toward the back. Menu via QR code...which is becoming more and more common. I was excited to try a burger given the consistently great reviews online but mine was just okay...I ordered a FTC burger medium. The burger came closer to medium-well...also the flavor profile wasn't the best. I needed to add lots of ketchup to it...never a good sign. It was nice to have the option of a side salad instead of the fries though. I would like to return and try some other items in the future. All staff were nice throughout my visit.

Yelp
Chicken Fried Bacon In theory this was a great idea. It's great thick cut chunks of pork belly. What would've hit this out of the park is if the pork belly was first slow smoked. Then it would've been tender chunks that would've been full of smoke flavor. Since it wasn't the bites were extremely tough with only a hint of smoke flavor. The coating was crunchy and fried well. The honey coating was okay. It needed some more spices to kick it up a notch. All in all it was good. That'll Do Pig Perfect burger patty to bun ratio. I loved all of the toppings. It needed way more bacon mayo, bacon jam and cart sauce, cause it was a really dry burger. Even getting it cooked to medium temperature, it was still dry. Great flavors overall.

Yelp
I checked out the new spot and I have to say I like the ambiance in the new location. It feels a little more upscale. As always, the burger and service was excellent.

Yelp
We stopped at Farmer & the Cow on a recent trip to Wilmington. We'd heard amazing things about this place, so we were eager to give it a try. Unfortunately, it fell a little bit short for us. We started with an order of the fried chicken skins- these were fantastic! Almost like pork rinds, but fresh out of the oven and with a delicious sauce to go with it. For our entrees, we both ordered burgers cooked medium. When they arrived, my burger was cooked medium, but to say that my partner's was "rare" would be generous. It was bright pink all the way through, with some almost raw meat in the middle. She'd also ordered hers on a gluten free bun, which looked great at first, but almost fully disintegrated after just a couple bites. To be fair, there was some sort of festival going on outside when we visited, a great band playing inside, and the restaurant was PACKED. It's possible that there was just a mixup in the kitchen, which of course happens from time to time. Our waiter was very friendly and apologetic, and happily took the burger off the bill. He also asked if we were going to have any more drinks, which I think he was going to give us on the house as a way of saying sorry. It was clear they felt bad about the mistake, which we certainly appreciated. I think we would give this restaurant another shot if we were in the area again- the service was excellent and the drinks & appetizers were great too. Hopefully we just caught them on an off night.

Yelp
By far, this was the best experience I have had in quite some time. Between the sweet potato tater tots, coupled with the Butterfinger milkshake it was like having sex on the beach. Definite 10 stars plus an extra two for the really good feeling. I have waiting to get home to ride this wave!
google avatar

Yelp
Great food and environment , make sure you get the nachos that are out of the world. Also try the food for the month specials.
google avatar

Brianna R.

Yelp
Got the badger, badger, mushroom, mushroom burger and it was so damn good! It was juicy and had so many flavors from the sautéed onions to the mushrooms to the goat cheese, which really tied everything together. The side of fries was on the sweeter side and were pretty good to me, my mom loved them Visited from California and will definitely be back next time I'm out here :)

Yelp
I can't even comment on the food because me and my gf did not get seated the customer service was terrible and me and my gf did not feel welcomed at all. Very disappointed. I wanna elaborate customer service we where told we had to have a reservation to eat there okay we were not aware of that no big deal. But then being told we only have 1 hour 30 mins to eat I have never been told that before and being a first time customers we was very disappointed

Chushma K.

Yelp
The vibe of the place was great! We had the street corn nachos and moo caliente burger. Nachos were delicious. Burger was crazy spicy but loved the flavor. The Cafe de chucho milkshake helped to calm down the spiciness . Service was good.

Yelp
Being in Wilmington, I knew I had to try Farmer and the Cow after seeing on it Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives. Knowing that, I ordered the fried chicken skins and the That'll Do Pig burger. First, I tried the chicken skins and they were very unique. To explain, the flavor was different from normal chicken skin, but I still liked them. Furthermore, the skins were extremely crunchy and had a lot of spice to them. They were different, but enjoyable. After that, I moved onto the burger and the results were spectacular. Burgers are proof that sometimes the simplest things are the most extraordinary. With that being said, the That'll Do Pig was one of the best burgers I've ever had. To elaborate, the flavor of the meat was extraordinary. The meat was tender and oozing with juices. In addition, the bacon jam was sweet and tangy and matched perfectly with the meat. Also, the tater tots on the burger were crispy, seasoned, and elevated the burger even more. It was simply a phenomenal burger. I would also like to mention that the fries were very good. They were seasoned, crunchy, and tasted homemade. Bluntly stated, Farmer and the Cow has some of the best burgers I've ever tasted.

Shea C.

Yelp
Got the food to go and it was fantastic! It was packaged well. Ready on time, and super easy to pickup.

Mike O.

Yelp
We had a reservation for 6 people. 2 people were 10 minutes late. Our server told us we only had an hour and a half at the table. I've never been told this at any restaurant! One person was served a plate of small, overcooked french fries. We had a person in a wheelchair and were seated in the back of the restaurant. It meant 2 tables of patrons had to stand up and move during their meal to accommodate us leaving. The overall experience for a $20.00 burger was unique! We wouldn't go back!!

David S.

Yelp
After seeing this place on Diner, Drive-ins, and Dives; decided to give it a try. Was severely let down. Sent the chicken skins back, lacked flavor and cover with a rub (i guess trying to impart flavor.. didn't work). The burgers didn't impress. The paddy wasn't seasoned and just blah.
google avatar

Courtney E.

Yelp
I've been wanting to come here forever and I'm so glad I got the opportunity to. A placed an order to go and sat at the bar until it was ready. I ordered the FTC burger w/ raw onions and the cafe de chucho milkshake. The burger was pretty good and well seasoned, but the patty itself was a little dry. The fries that came with the burger were amazing. I could eat them by themselves all day. The milkshake was coffee and churro flavored. The bitterness of the coffee helped to balance out the sweet cinnamon sugar. It was thick and creamy, I even dunked some of my fries in it. I want to go back to try their specialty burger and milkshake that changes monthly. The menu is very creative and different than nearby restaurants. I recommend giving it a try.
google avatar

Aliya B.

Yelp
Tried to get reservations. There were none available for 5pm. We went anyway and it was pretty much empty and were seated right away. We weren't that hungry so we ordered an appetizer and burger to share. We had the Street Corn Nachos and THEY. WERE. AMAZING. I don't know what ingredient it was but something on them was sooooo good. I would go back just for the nachos. My partner picked the Farmer and the Bao burger and I have a little bite but that was definitely not for me. But he loved it. Our waitress was very good she sent out an extra plate so we could share but I only took one bite because I was full from the nachos. If we ever find ourselves in Wilmington again we will definitely be back. Might be sooner than later if I keep thinking about the nachos. By the time we left around 615 it was getting busy so I would plan to go earlier.

William K.

Yelp
If you are expecting the same as the old location be ready to be disappointed. The food was not only underwhelming but burnt specifically the sweet tots. Service was slow especially considering my girlfriend and I were the only ones there. The atmosphere is cold and empty compared to prior location too. We want the old farmer and cow.
google avatar

Jeannez D.

Yelp
Literally so good! The burgers/sandwiches are massive but worth it! And the fries!!! Chefs kiss
google avatar

Mikey W.

Yelp
Everyone in town kept telling me to try this place so on my last night, I had to go, and I'll tell you straight up, it did not disappoint! When I came in it was very bustling but I quickly found a spot at the bar and I noticed the comprehensive selection of whisky available. I was a bit worried they wouldn't have any tequila but was relieved to find a few perfect options for my margarita. The bartender was incredibly friendly and super helpful in making my cocktail and food choices. Ordered the "Closed on Sunday" fried chicken sandwich and it hit all the right notes. Perfectly crispy with a. But of spice, a great slaw and some pickles. The fries were excellent and I definitely cleaned the plate. This place absolutely lives up to hype. If you're coming with a group it might be worth getting a reservation but I'm sure you can get a seat pretty quickly as I did.

Yelp
Wonderful food, atmosphere is great for a date night, and the staff was very prompt. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone for any occasion.

Yelp
Incredible stop on our way from Baltimore to Philly in Wilmington, DE. Extensive bourbon selection and a great selection of beer and shakes, too! We loved the Korean BBQ Brussel Sprouts and the Mac & Cheese! The side salad was amazing! So fresh and full of flavor. For our main course, Rodeo King and the Training Wheels burger. Delicious food and we can't wait to return!
google avatar

Kera L.

Yelp
We were excited to try this place; unfortunately, it was underwhelming. We ordered the chicken fried bacon, and the flavor was good, but there was so much fat, and it was tough. We moved on to our entree, the Rodeo King Burger, and they should have used the flavor from that chicken fried bacon for the burgers because not only did they have no flavor, but we asked for medium, and they came out well. Last, I get the old saloon look, but the spider webs & dust everywhere are not comforting. The wait was okay; he was just as underwhelming; maybe it was just a bad day, but I'm not rushing to return.

Peter F.

Yelp
I'm honestly shocked at the amount of high reviews for this place. I ordered the "farmer & the bao" which is a misleading name because it does not come on a bao bun. The burger was extremely overcooked and dry (ordered medium) and was completely overpowered by the mountain of chili flakes. It was also very messy and just fell apart as soon as you touched it. For some odd reason, the bacon tasted like hot dog, maybe it was the combination with the pickled ginger, but just a very odd tasting sandwich. The fried chicken skins were also underwhelming, fatty and pretty flavorless. Also, the beer was flat. Staff was very nice. 2/10 will not return.
google avatar

Ian K.

Yelp
Was recommended the Farmer & the Cow by a fellow bourbon hunter. This place is GREAT for a burger and a glass of rare bourbon. We arrived on a late Wednesday afternoon and it was a quick in and out trip. What we snagged: -No bourbon, BUT I have attached a picture of their shelf selection. -The FTC burger. One with regular taters (VERY flavorful, and one with sweet potato tots) What I wasn't TOO happy with was that the thick cut bacon was very fatty and flappy. Guess I just needed to ask for well done? Regardless, this is a GREAT joint. I'm sure it gets very busy at night as it's in the heart of downtown Wilmington.
google avatar

Marissa W.

Yelp
I enjoyed the food here although my family did not. We received great service at the bar high top which was the highlight. The fries were tasty however I didn't know the pickles were bread and butter and I found them offensive. Otherwise good food.
google avatar

Heather P.

Yelp
This is the best place to eat and drink in town. Tried several drinks and they were all exceptional! Bar tender took his craft seriously! Food was interesting and delicious. Of all the places we visited while in town, this is the one I'd be excited to return to.

Yelp
Vibe/Ambiance: This is a really neat spot downtown! Really laid back but chic inside. Service: We made a reservation for a Friday night and we're seated promptly. Our server was super sweet and perfectly attentive. Food: For an All American burger place this is top of the line. The burger meat was fantastic, the bacon was cooked perfectly. They have tots and fries as side options (we had both). And the SHAKES were awesome. We also orders drinks and they taste exactly how described on the menu. They keep a specialty menu for the month at the bottom of each menu too, it's easy to miss. Personally I dread an online menu. They had a scannable menu, I find them to be confusing at times. Mainly the drink menu since it is extensive and down right impressive.

Donna O.

Yelp
Friendly and quick service. The place has a nice vibe. The burgers are made with quality meats and cheeses. They have some nice apps. I loved that they nailed the cook on everyone's burger. Their shakes were fabulous. The bar is very impressive. Great date night place. Some of the prices were a little high. I dont mind paying for quality but I think if they shaved off about 2 bucks from their burgers it would possibly allow someone to order an extra app. 4 people ate 4 burgers, 1 milkshake and 2 small apps came to 100.00 and we drank water. So after tax and tip? 130.00 ish later? It seems a little high.

Yelp
This is a go to place of mine as I love Whiskey and this place has a huge selection. I live in the neighborhood so I'm fortunate enough to be able to walk here. John and Alex are very knowledgeable about Whiskey and can offer you some excellent recommendations. As for food, I recommend the Bacon Nuggets, Chicken Skins, and Brussels Sprouts. There is typically plenty of seating available.
google avatar

Jane H.

Yelp
Korean brussel sprouts are insanely good. The two of us ended up placing three orders for them.. crispy, sweet, and salty, with a hint of spice. I also got the Bleu Steel with chicken thigh- this burger had blue cheese, onion, and bacon. It was also good- the side fries were excellent. Lots of seating and a nice cozy interior. Good service.

Yelp
If you fancy yourself in Wilmington, DE, and have the irresistible urge to have quite possibly the greatest burger ever concocted, find yourself at Farmer & the Cow. Both the Chicken Skins and Street Corn Nachos were the perfect table setters to the entrees. The FTCBLTC had many layers of rich flavors and tasty bits that left me needing extra napkins in the best way. As befits its name the morning glory burger rises to the occasion. Like goodfellas, the magnificent seven or the avengers it is an exceptional ensemble cast. Generously portioned it is like nothing you've ever had before. Sure an egg on a burger is nothing new but with sausage and hash brown it's 1+1=100. Take my word for it get this burger. Your soul will thank you. And to top it off the Snickerdoodle Shake with Brown Sugar bourbon was the cherry on top! Imagine an upscale friendly speakeasy where everybody knows your name. Cheers meets the central perk. A place where you can enjoy your food and company with a friendly and attentive wait staff. The lighting and exposed brick elicit a very comfortable and sophisticated feel. Have you made your reservation yet?

Yelp
The food was really great and so was the service and i loved the ambiance! Definitely will be going back in the future!!
google avatar

Holly B.

Yelp
I have to say, I came back here and was disappointed the second time around. For starters, my husband, son and I again, all ordered shakes. They were served in much smaller glasses than they were the first time, but for the same price. And our food was just okay. Same can be said for the service as it took a long time for the meal to come out. I had been excited about coming back but now I likely won't return. It's overpriced for what you get.
google avatar

Fawn M.

Yelp
We visited here for lunch, definitely glad we came. We shared the Brussel sprout salad as our appetizer, one of the best salads I ever had. For our entrees we had the double burger that was on special for the month and the BLT, we enjoyed both. The BLT has a fried piece of cheese in mozzarella in the center and a thick piece of bacon... I would go back again just for that. I highly recommend.

Andrea S.

Yelp
My partner and I decided to visit this burger spot randomly after driving past it several times this year. Upon entry, we were greeted and seated by the host who was nice and greeted us with a smile. While we sat to figure out what we wanted for our entree I sipped on a cocktail by the name of the Angel's Share and it was delicious! Beautifully crafted and not too sweet even though it was made up of fairly sweet ingredients. My partner had the Smoke on the Rio which was also delicious. Smokey but not bitter and very smooth all the way down. The drinks were a 5/5. Now on to the food. We ordered an appetizer of the Korean BBQ Brussels Sprouts. They were fried and seemed to be tossed in the BBQ as opposed to drizzled on top, that was very appreciated. The Brussels sprouts were delicious! That bit of char mixed with the sweetness of the sauce was an exciting combination and while the sprouts were not that crunchy for them to be fried, I don't feel like that would have made a difference. So they also received a 5/5. Now on to the entree. This is where things go downhill. My partner ordered The Rodeo King OG burger and I ordered The Carolina Runaway. My sandwich was to be a rendition of a pulled pork BBQ sandwich inspired by NC BBQ. As a North Carolinian, I was excited to have a taste of home but I was so disappointed. The BBQ was chopped not pulled and that was a problem because the pieces of meat were fairly huge and not tender in the least. I could not bite down all the way through without getting stuck on a tough piece of meat. Also, the BBQ was drizzled on top and not tossed so you taste it and then it was gone and overpowered by the pickle at the bottom of the sandwich. And the slaw was just there for decor because I didn't taste it and had I not seen it there I probably wouldn't have known it was. The only good thing about my meal was the fries, nicely seasoned and fresh. My whole meal was a 2/5. The Rodeo King OG burger was also a disappointment according to my partner. She said "It was grossly overcooked, I asked for a medium and it was well done. It had no flavor to the actual patty itself and my fries were cold" She rated her burger a 1/5. Also, the last tidbit I'll say is we were seated next to where all the dirty dishes were dumped by staff and where the bartender's trash can was. Needless to say, there were loud plates and eating utensils banging every few minutes for the entirety of our visit. So for atmosphere, it gets a 1/5. While my experience wasn't great I do think people should try this place out. There were many guests and people looked happy all in all. Thanks & that's all.

Yelp
Creative burgers and appetizers! I had the Korean Brussel sprouts, which is a fusion take on the sweet, slightly sour and deliciously oily dish using gochujiang as the star ingredient. I tried the April burger, which was the peanut butter. I could not imagine adding meat a PB&J but I've dipped meat into PB sauce before so I gave it a shot. I'm still not sure how I feel about it but I CAN say that Farmer and The Cow definitely does patties well.

Yelp
I've come here several times and I've only had outstanding experiences. The specialty cocktails, whiskey selection, some of the unique (yet grounded in what makes sense) food selection and passion of the staff are what bring me back. There is a whiskey for every day of the year, too. The food is outstanding, and considering the prices of the rest of the world, everything is very reasonable. Highly recommend!

Yelp
Friend and I went for lunch and sat at the bar. It was a Tuesday so not busy and easy park out front. The bartender was nice and kept our waters filled. Menu isn't huge and was mostly burgers and shakes. The burger was supposed to be medium and was a bit over so drier than I like it. Medium isn't always the same so with all the toppings it was ok The restaurant has a nice selection vibe so worth a try.

Yelp
We left here 20 minutes ago and all I can think about is the chicken fried baccon. All of the items we had were delicious. The food came hot and at great intervals. The street corn nachos were plenty for the three of us and the toppings were plenty the fresh chopped jalapeños were great. The wings were cooked just right and they were sauced just right. The blue cheese was none I've ever had and a compliment to the wings and fries. The three burgers we ordered weee medium and cook as we ordered them. The tots were the best I've ever had very crispy but not hard and the inside fluffy and light. The inside was clean and a rustic. The service was wonderful our waitress was kind, polite, and knowledgeable about the food.
