Farmers Cafe

I have had at least 10 more breakfasts here. Meat lover omelet, Chicken Fried Steak, Bacon and Eggs... always great food and service! I love this place! A nice casual cafe. I'm up helping a friend and saw it. I was seated and served promptly. I ordered biscuits and gravy. It was good and I couldn't eat it all. The staff was friendly and efficient. I'll be back on the way north tomorrow. Ron

Food and service are amazing. Had breakfast. Highly recommend.

The coke from the soda dispenser was flat. The french fries were good texture and flavor. I suspect that they were cooked before I ordered them. They were not as hot as they should have been. The cheese burger was good size and flavor. The meat was cooked correctly (medium well) but it was just barely warm. The bun was the correct temperature. It seemed to have just come off the grill before serving. I would eat here again but I would request that the food be warmer.

Generous portions. Hashbrowns fried on BOTH sides - yay! Very very clean. Staff are quick, friendly, attentive - 5 stars was easy there. Breakfast served all day! 4 stars for food because I've had better tasting pancakes. 3 for atmosphere because it's pretty average - nothing wrong with it.

One of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had. Ordered the top sirloin and shrimp. After several minutes of watching my waitress hanging out at the counter I had to flag the hostess to get my waitress to bring me my salad, the blue cheese dressing was nasty tasting. When I got my meal my steak was very tough and overcooked. The waitress asked if I wanted a new meal I said that would be great. My meal came and it was just the steak by that time my entire meal was cold and the steak was only slightly better after a couple bits I left my entire meal.It is simply not possible that they use prime meat like indicated in the menu. My brother works at a butcher shop in Tacoma and I’ve had every cut of prime meat that is available including top sirloin and the difference between prime and what I got was night and day. I left my entire meal and left hungry. I went next door to McDonald’s and got a Big Mac meal for $12 and was happy. I’m going to slap my friends who told me this place was really good. Maybe it is under new ownership or something. Doubtful I will be back unless someone else is buying.

I’ve come here anytime I’m visiting Stanwood which is a few times a month. Today’s visit I won’t be coming back. I could only eat some of my burger and explained to the waitress the meat didn’t taste right to me so I didn’t need a box. The fries were fine. She still charged me for a full meal and was very short with me. Not appreciated I always expect better food and service when coming here.

"Tell the chef: This is some real low-grade dog food!" - Rodney Dangerfield It's unfortunate that such a highly reviewed establishment has food that's so bland, I won't take it home for my dog. A friend recommended this place, and since I was in the area decided to try it out. It's been over an hour since I ate there, and I'm still trying to get the cooking oil off my lips and tongue. They use no seasoning, and even salt and pepper couldn't spice up the dish they made. Our waitress was fun, but that's the only good thing about this place. Our little group couldn't even finish half of the bland food, so we kindly let the waitress know it wasn't up to par. She said that she'd see what could be done. Instead of remaking our food, or discounting the meal, they removed the drinks from our ticket which was fairly insulting. Do yourself, AND your wallet, a favor and skip this establishment. Unless, of course, you like to overpay for bland food.

I had a wonderful experience at Farmer’s Cafe! The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, and the brunch and breakfast 🍳 specials were delicious. I especially enjoyed the pancakes 🥞 , which were fluffy and flavorful. I highly recommend this cafe for anyone looking for a great meal in a welcoming environment.
