I love this place! Great restaurant overall. Food is delicious! Especially their onion rings, burgers, biscuits and gravy, hash browns, garlic fries, you name it they do it better! Service is impeccable! Fast and friendly, always welcoming. Hands down one of my favorite go-to restaurants! Highly recommend for anyone on any occasion 💯 👍

Generous portions. Hashbrowns fried on BOTH sides - yay! Very very clean. Staff are quick, friendly, attentive - 5 stars was easy there. Breakfast served all day! 4 stars for food because I've had better tasting pancakes. 3 for atmosphere because it's pretty average - nothing wrong with it.

The coke from the soda dispenser was flat. The french fries were good texture and flavor. I suspect that they were cooked before I ordered them. They were not as hot as they should have been. The cheese burger was good size and flavor. The meat was cooked correctly (medium well) but it was just barely warm. The bun was the correct temperature. It seemed to have just come off the grill before serving. I would eat here again but I would request that the food be warmer.

"Tell the chef: This is some real low-grade dog food!" - Rodney Dangerfield It's unfortunate that such a highly reviewed establishment has food that's so bland, I won't take it home for my dog. A friend recommended this place, and since I was in the area decided to try it out. It's been over an hour since I ate there, and I'm still trying to get the cooking oil off my lips and tongue. They use no seasoning, and even salt and pepper couldn't spice up the dish they made. Our waitress was fun, but that's the only good thing about this place. Our little group couldn't even finish half of the bland food, so we kindly let the waitress know it wasn't up to par. She said that she'd see what could be done. Instead of remaking our food, or discounting the meal, they removed the drinks from our ticket which was fairly insulting. Do yourself, AND your wallet, a favor and skip this establishment. Unless, of course, you like to overpay for bland food.

One of best breakfast cafes I have ever been to, I orderd a country fried steak and did not disappoint! Waitresses are very good, prices aren’t crazy and the amount of food they give is very generous. Will come back here again.

The staff is always friendly & the food great! They offer breakfast all day long, which is nice. They have the ability to order online and go through the drive-thru to pick it up. We have also eaten inside which is very nice and clean.

I haven't posted a review in a while. The food is very hot, fresh and delicious. The service was very pleasant. The portions are generous and never disappoint.

I stopped by for breakfast and overall had a really nice experience. The food came out hot and tasted fresh, and the portions were definitely generous. The service was friendly and checked on us a couple of times, which I appreciated. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is that the wait was a bit longer than expected, but nothing too bad. I'd still come back again for sure -- it's a solid spot for a casual meal.

Headed up to mount baker and found this place to grab a light breakfast before heading east. Looks like a framchise on the outside. But inside it was full of locals and the parking lot was full. Full parking lot is usually a good sign. Good American style food. Kiddie friendly.

this has to be the worst experience I've ever had at restaurant. I decided to try something new and the bread of the blt I ordered was moldy. Being allergic to mold that just adds to the issue. They took that and our 2 iced teas and 1 soda off our bill and didn't even act like it was a big deal.

Decently good food, they remodeled a burgerking and did pretty decent, everyone enjoyed the food. And service was good, no complaints for a good basic breakfast place.

We stopped in for a morning breakfast date. The hostess was nice and gave our drinks pretty fast coffee and water. Staff was friendly. The food was pretty good to be honest a dozen wings and an order of chicken fried steak hash browns toast and 2 eggs. Unfortunately after we were finished I still had 3/4 of my hash browns one egg and a large bite of that great chicken fried steak .The server asked if we needed a box which we said yes to and she grabbed our plates and took them. When I saw her coming back I asked where my food was and she said I put it in the bussing bin . She then said she would bring it back but it's already in the bin. And that was it no sorry or let me try to make it right. I'm not saying I wanted an entire free meal but an offer or gesture of any kind would have been nice. I will try this place again because the food was great but we will see about the rest.

The Food was Excellent and the Waitress was none stop with our Coffee and Water and at the time, it was easy to talk with the person I came with.

Food is good here. The issues are that the last 3 times my daughter and I have come in here, it's not busy at all and something gets screwed up. Tonight was the last straw, and that's why I did not leave a tip and decided to write this review. Please escalate this to the manager. I ordered the sirloin and when asked soup or salad, I said clam chowder please. I NEVER got my soup! Our server was just refilling the hot sauce bottles at the table and waiting at the food window or answering the phone. Said nothing to us the rest of the meal, except at the end when she asked what we wanted to order for to go. And then said "sorry, wrong table." Stood there while I'm running my card in their pay point system, which I think is unprofessional. Give us some space, don't hover! Straws- twice now the host has gotten me an unwrapped straw with their hands all over the top - I know you clean off tables and use sanitizer sprays but get me a wrapped straw! Not cool and not sanitary. I've resorted to getting my own straws. We were forgotten about the host didn't inform our server, who is a friend of mine that she had seated us. Once again, they were not busy, and we sat for a good 20 minutes before our server came over profusely apologizing and was irritated with not only the host who was visiting with her friends on the clock, but the other staff because they were slacking. Our server felt so bad about the wait, she bought our drinks. There are 2 servers worth their salt- Larren and a woman with blue hair and wears glasses ( my mind is blanking on her name). Everyone else needs to either get their head out of their asses and do better or look for employment not in food service!

Very dissatisfied. 5/10 I expected more especially with the good reviews. For the portions the price isn't valid. The ground Chuck just looked like a smoked hamburger patty which should've just been put as the description. Very little portions. This is why I hate trying new places. Total was $57. I don't mind paying for food as long as it's good and worth the price and this just wasn't it. Dennys definitely would've been better.

Just okay, we were seated right away, wasn't busy. Unfortunately wouldn't go out of my way to return, always looking for good breakfast restaurant. Asked for "crisp" bacon, not even close, hash browns overcooked, all crust, eggs and toast were fine. Server never checked back w/us until end of meal we were asked if we wanted more coffee.

I always have a pretty good experience here! The servers are always friendly, the food is always good and the prices are pretty fair! only slight complaint is that some of the table settings are very close together and awkward when it's crowded won't stop me from going as the pros outweigh the cons!

Went here with my fiancé, his dad and stepmom for an early dinner. Went on yelp saw great reviews and heard the food was wonderful and the prices were reasonable. Plus my future father-in-law said he's eaten there before and really liked it. Old decor, not updated, but that actually is what added to its character... I was told that the location used to be an old Burger King! I had a chili burger, my fiancé had an omelette, dad had a cheeseburger and stepmom had fish and chips. All of us loved our food. My fiancé's omelette was great with tons of proteins and loaded with veggies, his hashbrowns looked crispy and delicious. My chili burger was huge... Chili was great and the fries were good too, chili was a little spicy, and I had a nice kick to it but no way what I consider hot. My dad's burger was good because he ate every bite, and stepmom's fish and chips was good... She doesn't eat a lot to begin with but she ate half the fish. Bill for all of us, including tax and tip was about $94, worth every penny. If you're ever out in Stanwood, this little gem is a great place to go to for a good breakfast lunch or dinner, highly recommend!!!

Food. Good. Service. Great. It's a lot of country style food. I will say the biscuits were very flavorful but fluffy. I like a dense biscuit but that's my personal tastes. Server was great with my 6 year old who took her time to pick the mouse pancakes. I only took one point off for price. You're looking at 20+ an adult if you get a full meal with a drink. Farmers cafe, worth a try if you want country cooking.

Farmers Cafe serves up cozy classic American food. We have always visited for breakfast but they do serve lunch and dinner. I always get my favorite- eggs Benedict but with sausage instead of Canadian bacon. Mmmm they do it right every time! The hash browns can be a little hit/miss but we always leave feeling full and satisfied! Great service, and the delicious breakfast keeps us coming back!

Really good home cooked meals! Nice service and the inside is clean and neat. Slightly higher prices but I totally understand and the food was definitely worth it!

A very solid diner. Meats were all good. Sausages had the optimal texture and amount of burn. Hash browns had the perfect amount of crisp on top and soft underneath. Eggs were fairly over-medium like I ordered. Condiments were all available on the table. French toast came with a generous amount of spread and the entire little dispenser for the syrup. They weren't particularly busy. Service was super fast, and they refilled my coffee multiple times.

We eat breakfast here at least once a week I always have the avocado scramble and my husband usually has the eggs Benedict . The food is always great and the service is very good. We've gotten to know all the servers and really enjoy chatting with them

Friendly staff though after. food was delivered we were forgotten. Breakfast was delivered fast but less than impressive. Biscuits and gravy were tasteless and the Breakfast burrito was missing something (though avacado was great). Maybe a little more time adding seasoning? A lot of good Breakfast places in town, sorry this missed the mark.

Good friendly neighborhood restaurant service was good it took about 15-20 mins to get breakfast which was fine for a Saturday. Great homemade hollandaise sauce and homemade corned beef and hash. Good hash browns plenty of food and reasonably priced. Maria was our server she did an excellent job. Very thorough. Followed up well and was good. Probably the best Benny I have ever had in my life.

I can't review the food; we were never served. It wasn't that busy on a Monday morning. But the reviews that mention bad, horrible or non-existent service seem to be spot-on. We were seated, given water, and - after 12 minutes without being acknowledged by anyone - we walked out. We watched two waitresses walk past us a couple times. Not a 'Hey, I'll be right back.' Nothing, Stanwood a bit off the beaten path for us, but we wanted to try Farmer's Cafe. We weren't served.

Excellent cafe with a broad menu. There was a line when we arrived and when we left, the food is that good. Bring your appetite and enjoy the hospitality of the staff you won't regret your choice.

Really good service, decent burger, blah breakfast, and uncomfortable booths. My boyfriend wanted to try something new this morning, so we gave Farmers Cafe a whirl. The hostess, who was also our server, was on fire. My boyfriend got the Rio Grande burger with onion rings. The burger was "two to three steps above Denny's," according to my boyfriend. The onion rings were "okay." My breakfast sucked. I ordered the avocado scramble. The eggs were dry and bland, and the avocado was tasteless (not ripe enough). My sourdough toast was served cold and topped with butter that had not melted. The only semi-respectable thing on my plate was the cottage cheese. The place is clean, but the booths are way past worn.

Very pleasant place. The food is made of FRESH ingredients and tastes great. Our waitress was kind and professional. Fast, friendly service. Will definitely come back again.

The food is delicious and the service is excellent!!! The selections give you many options including all day breakfast, lunch or dinner served. And the quality of the food is very good for the price range. I highly recommend recommend eating at the Farmers Cafe in Stanwood!!!

Yummy! We came in while waiting for a jobsite to be ready and we were hungry! I just wanted some scrambled eggs, my partner for eggs, toast, bacon and delicious hashbrowns. Service was nice and staff was kind. Well be back if we find ourselves in the area again!

I've always been curious about this restaurant because it has a drive-thru window. Learned that this used to be a fast food place and the window is used for pick up orders. Great way to social distance during these times! They are more known for a breakfast place, but have plenty of other options for lunch or a light dinner. Ordered the Hawaiian Burger, which starts with a thick juicy patty, slice of Swiss cheese, a large pineapple slice, lettuce, tomato, and mayo. Slices of red onion, pickles, and teriyaki sauce are all on the side. I especially liked the bun, slightly grilled and soft but held up well. The onion rings are battered, and they don't skimp on the size or quantity. There is no dipping sauce included, so I used the teriyaki sauce that I was dipping the burger in. I was asked when picking up the order if I wanted any sauces, and didn't think of asking what kinds they had. Overall very happy with the taste and amount. While the drive-thru may give a fast food vibe, they are far above fast food quality. Definitely give them a try!

We were seated quickly and brought coffee and water right away. This is the only thing that was quick. Our server was friendly and attentive. We waited about 7 minutes for her to take our order. We then waited, and waited. The place was about 1/2 full on a Sunday morning at 8:30 when we placed our order. We did not receive our food until 8:55. Eggs and hashbrowns should not take 25 minutes. This was pretty slow service for a half full restaurant. Anyway, the food was just okay. Not very flavorful or hot. The butter on the toast was not melted. I had the Denver omelet with hashbrowns. As you can see in the picture I have 1/2 dark brown hashbrowns and the other 1/2 is light golden? What? Same for husbands order which is weird. His was also just okay. I would eat there again if there were no other options but would probably try something else in the future first.

Had a wonderful late lunch here with my daughter this past Wednesday. We had mozzarella sticks and also French dip sandwiches with fries. Delicious! All was cooked to perfection and I can't wait to go back! Also, we drove up to Stanwood for shopping and I can't believe how nice the waitstaff was. We didn't go without anything. We needed ranch and refills for our ice teas and water and the staff was awesome!!! It's been so long since I have had excellent customer service. Thank you again and we will be back! Please support this business, you won't be disappointed!

We came here for breakfast, and it was a home run... Food tasted great, service was great, it lives up to everything you read... I will definitely try this place again

Took my wife here for her birthday. We've had mostly good experiences here before, but this was...really not good. When we were first seated we noticed an empty booth and thought we should have asked for it but took the table we were given, (right by the restroom). A short while later, a guy was seated at the empty booth we'd seen, got his order taken and was served. No one had yet taken our order. Two other booths were seated, ordered and served, still no one took our order. My wife pointed this out to the waitress (Roxanne?) who had the audacity to start arguing about it, showing some piece of paper where supposedly we had been written in in some order that would have caused us to wait 45 minutes to place an order while everyone else in the restaurant who'd come in after us had already been served. Even as we started to get ready to leave, my wife tried to make a conciliatory comment but the argument started again. Sadly, the food was pretty good, but the emotional price is too high. If I want an argument I can go to a political rally. I don't expect to pay for it. Won't be back - and we've been regular, loyal customers who've overlooked a couple of other minor issues with this place in the past, but not this time.

We came here for breakfast with some friends. The restaurant is attached to a gas station. We were seated promptly when we arrived (I think there was only one other occupied table on a Sunday morning) and service was efficient. I had ham, scrambled eggs, hashbrowns and toast. Everything was good. This is a decent place to eat if you're in Stanwood for breakfast.

A great place to eat with family. And they have everything on their menu! Breakfast, lunch, dinner, and dessert! Fresh daily soups, custom orders, sweet potato fries- they also have a weekend prime rib special. You can eat in or go through the drive-thru. It's a great, yummy, versatile place to eat. You'll love them!

Lucked out and found this down the street from our hotel. I have to say it is good down home, exactly what you want after a night of drinking, yummy breakfast. The biscuits with sausage and gravy hit the spot. The service was also great! Super friendly and attentive. Loved!

Farmer's is a great place for a sit-down meal that is quick. The food is very good, but the menu has limited options. They don't even have a hot dog for the kids that I saw. But the food is good, and the staff are friendly and helpful. Substitutions can be made, and they cook burgers the way you want them. They take phone in orders and have a drive-up window so sometimes the staff get busy doing other things. This totally understandable in any restaurant. The breakfasts are very good and never overcooked. The staff is friendly, and I have seen that if there is a problem with food, they promptly fix it. We have never had a problem with food or staff. I will be back to this restaurant for sure.

I was in Stanwood Washington this morning and I was hangery. That means I was soooooo hungry I was angry, Hangery......Well anyway to the point I stopped into Farmers Cafe for a Farmers Burger with fries and a Cherry Coke. I like Burgers with fried eggs on them so when I saw it on the menu I ordered one up. All I can say is "Jump back Jesus," Wow this thing was AWESOME. Loved it, HOT and JUICY with the perfect egg. I also loved their homemade ranch for my fries. Servers were awesome, nice and I never had to ask for a refill. That's always a big thing for me. So I guess I'm saying if your in Stanwood Washington getting your dog neutered and you need a burger to calm the beast inside don't hesitate to try out Farmers Cafe. You won't be disappointed.

The good: friendly staff, prompt seating. My experience was just okay, which I kind of expected based upon reviews. We had a party of 5, and were seated promptly, but in a dark alcove. A bunch of bulbs must have gone out all at once. Our server was friendly, and very busy, but we got coffee & water refills pretty fast. The menu is just standard, nothing really stood out. It didn't take too long for our food, given that the place was packed on a Sunday morning, so that was good. The food was just okay. Nothing wow'd me. Nothing really stood out. Kind of standard diner-esque food. No frills.

Good food, good service! Casual atmosphere and good spacing between tables. I'll be back for breakfast soon.

Family got off the freeway to go to the McDonalds across the street, but they were closed due to remodel so we came here. We were seated right away, but it took the waitress a good ten minutes to come to our table to take our drink/food order. It was not that busy. She was at least apologetic about that. But then it took another 40 minutes to get the food (and all we ordered was bacon & eggs, a kids pancake, and a breakfast burrito). It was a tall order to keep our kids calm and quiet for the long wait. The food was at least pretty good, but for a $12 breakfast plate, only getting 2 small pieces of bacon was pretty disappointing. Maybe the kitchen was just having an off day, but we won't likely be back.

Great fresh food. Good variety. Huge portions! We each ordered the breakfast burrito and one was big enough for both of us. Can't wait to Go back and try the corned beef hash.

The service was really slow. I ordered the Monte Cristo and have never seen one done like a club. There was a very small portion of meat and almost no cheese on it. Hubs had fish and chips, they were really good! Large portions. We will try it again, I just will not order a sandwich.
