I love stopping by to see what they have. The summer selection has lots of fresh produce. I recommend checking out freshly baked bread, local honey, and small-batch jam, jelly, and pickles. Vendors even take EBT on Fri-Sun starting at 8 am.

What a fun stop on our MSP trip! Definitely go on Saturday/Sunday. From fresh produce to meats and cheeses to food vendors, there is something for everyone. The flowers were absolutely stunning.

So much beautiful produce! Potatoes, carrots, beans, tomatoes, eggplant, cabbage, sweet corn, broccoli,..just to name a few. Most of it was clean and fresh. Beautiful bouquets of fresh cut flowers for $6-$8. Great deal. Lots of food vendors. Fun clothes and jewelry. Be sure to allow plenty if time to see everything, and bring coolers for all the goodies you want to bring home.

this farmers’ market is definitely one of the bigger ones i’ve been to. there’s a wide range of vendors that sell goods from fresh produce to exotic plants to merchandise along with live performances. many local businesses make appearances at this market too and it’s incredibly fun to walk through and check out each seller’s booth. parking isn’t so bad either since your options are a lot under a bridge or on street parking for <$1/hr. i’d be weary of some merchandise vendors since it appeared some of them were drop shipping of some sort.

Lots of wonderful things and food to buy! A great way to spend your weekend away from home. There are a number of booths so make sure to check every lane if you want to make the lost out of your visit. Dress comfortable and also have cash ready so that it’s easy for both the vendors and the customers. Make sure to have a number of bags if you want to be more eco friendly, although plastic bags are still given. Overall just take your time, 1 hour isn’t enough in my opinion but I didn’t have a list to buy either so I just formulated what I wanted for one meal first then I can always come back! Support small businesses!

Yelp
A great location with street parking and ramp parking and rows of canopy covered venues about five in all complete with at least 25 or more vendors per canopy Fresh flowers, organic produce, syrups, soaps, garden plants, hanging baskets, specialty breakfasts cooked to order, fresh barbecue slabs, rib tips , fresh and frozen sausages, chicken, beef, pork, jewelry hand crafted, beautiful clothing, purses , travel bags, fresh cut flowers. All this and live music in a happy, well laid out venue. Beautiful produce we took home and more. Family friendly, steps to get up into covered canopies hut wheel chair access on many ground level vendors. We can't wait to go again with a shopping cart. Places to set down and eat and make a day of it.

Yelp
The Farmer's Market Annex is a fun place to shop. My uncle and I swing through after we visit the Farmer's Market every weekend during the summer. In addition to a good handful of produce vendors, you can find merchants and food vendors of all kinds, from clothing and crafts to jewelry and wellness products. It's a superb place to look for gifts for everyone on your list, especially if you want to support small local businesses of all stripes. Everyone is really nice, and I always enjoy learning more about their stories. The selection can vary week to week, so stop by throughout the season to meet everyone!

Yelp
First time here visiting the farmers market in Minneapolis and I would say I wish I can come here every weekend if I lived here. Prices are very affordable and there's lots of vendors here. Parking here is a little hard; difficult to find parking space under the bridge. Trying to get in the parking lot it's very crowded with side and curb parking. I will say get there early, the atmosphere there is vibing, they have live performances. I came here to check out Miss Papaya and it was a hit! They were very friendly and service was fast! They amount of portion they give is well. The kapoon was also a hit just on a sweeter side but I love the thick flavory broth. The spice level on the papaya was great! I will definitely return back whenever I'm visiting Minnesota!!!

Yelp
Always fun going to the farmers market and supporting our local family farmers. There's definitely quite a few throughout the Twin Cities but this ones my favorite. There's a lot of variety when it comes to produce, merchandise, goods, and hot food prepared right in front of you!!! Location is great cause you can get to it from the bike trails or right off of 94. Parking is a bit of a pain.. but that's to be expected in the city unfortunately.

Yelp
We recently got married at the Farmers Market Annex. The venue was beautiful even if the weather was not. We enjoyed the view of downtown, the fireplace to warm things up, and the flowers that had recently been planted. The day before we bought flowers from the market and put them in vases. The women working their were wonderful, friendly and helpful. I would recommend others to wait until later in the summer to use this outdoor venue for the wedding... if the downsides don't bother you. Now the downside... The first big surprise was when we learned two weeks before the wedding that the grounds would be 1/6 full of medal animal art work. They were pushed to the side in a pile and a large orange giraffe over looked the alter. The woman said that she had warned us about this which was true but the warning had come only two weeks before the wedding and after the last deposit. I guess don't rent out the whole venue if some of it is needed for storage. I would go look at it in early summer rather than the winter to get a clear idea of all that will be there. We went to decorate the day before with lights as we told we could. We asked the man working out there to make sure it was ok. He said it was fine an offered to help. After saying we could do it three times, we just let him help. Only to have the event manager come out and say rudely, "you can put up lights but my people will not help they have too much to do." The event manager put down extra table clothes for the caterer. He said he had his own but she said he could use hers. She first claimed the table cloth was burnt and then later that it was thrown up on and needed to be payed for by us. The table cloth was under the Himalayan food that was being catered. Our wedding and reception was three hours long due to the weather. It would have been very difficult for someone to throw up between the food. The next day we went to pick up our heat lamps (the gas tanks were "missing" leaving us with a 60 dollar charge to that heat lamp company) and just stuck our heads in to say thanks. What we got was a "yes?" then she said that she wasn't going to call us because we might be on a honeymoon but we owed her 75$ for the tape, the table cloth, and firewood. The firewood we knew and asked how much we used. She said she didn't know; she didn't take a before and after picture but probably $50 worth. In her defense, she 2 months later apologized after reading this and said that she was overworked. Also even though they will say you can move inside if the weather is awful, don't expect that to actually happen. They told us that we could not because of insurance. If you do need this to happen make sure you ask them yourselves, not your parents or people who are helping run the wedding. Overall, the day was fun and we had a beautiful wedding.

Yelp
My wife and I got married at the Farmer's Market Annex in August 2013 and were incredibly happy with the entire experience. We had ~100 guests there and heard nothing but good things. Leading up the event, Audrey was able to give us a couple of tours during Farmer's Market hours and give us some ideas on where to put everything (i.e. receiving line, ceremony, DJ, etc.). I was extremely nervous, because I just couldn't picture everything, so she actually drew everything out without me even asking and it just all *made sense*. She was incredibly responsive and really made sure the whole day ran off without a hitch. We opted for a traditional BBQ dinner - burgers, brats, salads, fruits, etc. We had several people with dietary restrictions, but there were options for people that needed to avoid gluten, carbs and meat. They even grilled up some veggie burgers for us. There was plenty of room for us to have outside vendors come in to setup a bar and even a DJ with a "dance floor". The only negative was the weather. It was SO hot. However, the staff was really on their game in helping us deal with that. They had plenty of tents for us that covered the tables and even provided us with bottles of water while we set up. There was obviously nothing they could do about the heat, but they did their best to accommodate. If you're getting married in the heat of the summer, definitely be prepared! The one downfall of the location is how the guests are separated when eating. If you have a large group, they'll be split on two sides of the grounds. However, after dinner, there's plenty of space to socialize throughout the whole property.

Yelp
We held our outdoor evening event here in August of 2014. Our company put the party together a local technical community gathering. This venue was perfect for our needs! Parties in our industry tend to be about drinking and trying to talk at a noisy and crowded bar. Those environments aren't always family-friendly, and it's really hard to mingle over the noise. For our party we wanted a completely different vibe, and that's what the Farmers Market Annex gave us. It's important for guests to be able to spread out so they're not just in a big crowd next to the buffet line. The Annex basically has 4 separate areas that we outfitted with drinks, food, snacks, and beer/wine. We also staged a fire pit for s'mores, corn hole, and some card and board games under a tented area. There was something for everyone, and soon our guests were juggling and setting up foursquare courts in the parking lot! No kidding! We self-catered, using the wood-fired oven to make fresh pizza. We also grilled up a bunch of satays and other heavy appetizers and were pleasantly surprised to find a huge walk-in fridge and a commercial kitchen for prep. You could also hire a food truck if you didn't want to take on the work. Audrey was helpful and accommodating. Everything was set up on time and they had staff at the ready for a quick tear-down at the end of the evening. We were so happy to have this venue and all the help for a very unique and memorable community event!

Yelp
Great produce and food vendors with a plethora of options and stands. I've been going to this market for a dozen years and love it. Highly recommend this particular farmers market.
