Crowded weekend markets not your thing?
Cheat day became cheat weekend and threatening to become cheat week?
You're in luck - the Christ Church Farmer's Market is open mid May to late Fall, Wednesdays, 2-7P.
Though smaller than the other farmer's markets/markets in the area (Rittenhouse, Headhouse, Italian, Reading Terminal), it's open midweek and takes care of folks who live/work in Old City district.
It's perfect for a midweek break: coffee shops abound near this serene, tree-lined, cobblestone street. Grab a cup and rock a grocery run during your coffee break (or before your commute home - it's right by the MFL 2nd St station). Pet friendly, too!
Multitasking and healthy living FTW!
- Big Sky Bread
- Cherry Grove Farm (meat and cheese)
- Lunaria Gardens (flowers, house plants, seedlings)
- Mycopolitan Mushrooms
- Spruce Hill Preserves (jams, jellies, butters)
- Taproot Farms (veggies, eggs)
More vendors, rotating vendors, and food truck info updated weekly (on Facebook).
3.5 stars for smaller selection, but bumping to 4 for ambiance and being an awesome local option!
