I’d say this is the best farmers market in the surrounding area. Good variety, cute vibes, a good amount of vendors, live music, food trucks, lots of free parking.

Great way to spend the Saturday morning. Lots of vendors. Food and atmosphere is great. Tried Chef Nelly’s Peruvian Empanadas, Italian food, Coffee Flights with Ice Cream from Tin Lizzie’s Tonic Truck & Micro green Mix ice cream from Tiny Greens To Go.

Love coming to the farmers market and we go honestly almost every weekend. I love coming to see all my favorite vendors when they're there. One of my best farmers market experiences by far!

Google
The location, infrastructure, and variety of vendors (including food trucks) makes this one of the more desirable markets in the area, which makes it easy to spend a Saturday morning there with the family.

It's a really big place, lots and lots of vendors. The vegetables are so fresh and wonderful and beautiful, and the vendors are very nice and helpful. Lots of fresh baked goods etc, you really want to go.

I came here during my wait at the Aviary on an occasion, and I really enjoyed my time here. The booths were full of tons of different items, crafts, foods, and samples. There were animals to be seen, hand crafted wooden spoons, homemade earrings, an açaí bowl truck, and a lot more. There was plenty to look at and there were some great deals. It’s definitely worth coming to check out if you have some time.

Google
Nice farmers market. They have a little of everything. Great produce. The cucumber kimchi is the best we made a special trip today just for that.

Came here for the first time in 6 years and it has exploded. I was very pleasantly surprised to see all the vendors. Heavy foot traffic on a sunny Saturday.

Yelp
One of my absolute favorite farmers markets. Every time I'm in Springfield to visit family I have to stop in here. I go so often and I'm treated like a regular by several vendors. LOL! Millsap Farm, Terrell Creek Farm, London Calling food truck (gotta get those frozen pasties & sausage rolls to take home!) and many more. I appreciate that they're open until 1 PM to give people more time to shop and not have to get up quite so early so many vendors, including fresh meat, eggs, flowers, jewelry, honey, fresh bakery items, Kombucha, tea, coffee, every veggie under the sun, art, Amish goods, etc.

Yelp
Located in Farmer's park, it is the best and largest farmer's market in the area. They have a mix of food trucks, produce, and it's surrounded by lots of local shops/brunch options. Things to Note: 1) Parking lot available but it gets busy. 2) Best hours are early or around 10am/catch the live music 3) Love the different produce like boy chok, long green beans, lots of lot cheese, beer/cider 4) Some meat/seafood options 5) People can bring their dogs 6) Lots of strollers I love to come early on a beautiful morning, sit on the picnic tables outside and use the Farmer's Place free wifi to do work. You can grab some coffee, local breakfast pastries (London Calling is good), and have some fresh fruit. Awesome place, great atmosphere, and it can be a fun productive morning.

Yelp
I so enjoyed strolling and shopping all the vendors. I left with beautiful tomatoes, a bunch of freshly harvested radish, sour dough bread and black walnut syrup. Oh and I bought delicious elotes from a food truck!

Yelp
Love love love is what I have for the Farmers Market of the Ozarks!!!! I love seeing some of my favs every time I go! Blue Herron farm and bakery, Spring Branch Kombucha, London Calling Food Truck and my new fav, Abby's Açai Company! The variety is amazing and for fresh and mostly organic eggs, fruits, and veggies, the prices aren't bad either! I love that almost everything you could need to make your meal delicious and special can be bought at the market. Whether it be fresh flowers to make the occasion special to homemade breads or speciality teas, farm fresh eggs and home grown herbs or fried pies and baklava, the market has got it covered! Don't miss the market while it's in full swing!

Yelp
One of my favorite places to go to when I am in town. Saturday is the day to go. Even in the winter. They put the sides down so it is not so cold. There are many little shops and places to eat outside. They have all kinds of vendors come to sell their products. You can find fresh veggies and fruits, flowers, hand made wood utensils (which is awesome b/c you get to pick the wood you want).

Yelp
This is a great place especially for families. An eclectic collection of vendors including lots of great food options. There is a great fountain that kids can run thru. It is busy because it is popular, but it is not over run. Much of the market is covered so you are good if it's raining or windy. You are supporting local vendors, there is good selection and friendly. There are some especially funny and rude tea towels and pillow covers at Lewd Linens.

I visited the Farmers Park market & picked up fresh produce, homemade bread and a warm empanada! Everyone was friendly and welcoming & the food is delicious! I recommend it!

Yelp
We are so blessed to have such a great Farmers Market. There are several great vendors ranging from fresh produce, local Kombucha, local dog treats, baked goods, soaps and great meat! Highly recommend bringing some cash. You can get some coffee, food from a food truck and walk around. Such a peaceful way to spend a Saturday morning or Thursday evening by yourself, with your loved ones and with your furry friends.

Yelp
Lots of fresh fruit, veggies, and delicious baked goods all for good prices! It's a large farmers market with lots of local vendors. They have food trucks for those looking for breakfast or a fresh cup of coffee. Parking is limited, so car pool if possible.

Yelp
I've only come to this farmer's market on Thursday evenings because driving by on Saturday makes me want to stay far, far away (I hate crowds - please everyone keep coming on Saturday and keep away on Thursday!). It's the perfect evening activity. Grab a beer, have a snack - can I suggest a delicious tamale? - and pick up a few things to toss together for dinner. There is a good array of prepared foods and bakery treats, but I will admit I'm always a bit disappointed in the actual produce available. What is there always looks good, but they don't have a very wide variety of things and there aren't multiple vendors with the same items to be able to compare and choose. Overall, it's definitely worth a trip but it isn't going to be able to fill in for a trip to the grocery store.

Yelp
Went to the market this morning. Springfield, we have a really nice market! I recommend that you go first thing in the morning for best selection. Most of the vendors accept credit card via square. The peaches from Campbell Mo are so good this time of year, so be sure to search for them. There are many fresh veggie and fruit vendors, a guy roasting peppers, people selling honey, cheese, seafood, grass fed beef, breads, beautiful flowers, pizza, crafts, you name it, it's probably here. The only downside of going early is that the neighboring shops aren't open yet. They do have a Wednesday morning market as well, much smaller, however. They sometimes have the water fountains going (on Wednesday) and little kids running through them-so great on a hot day! Don't forget to get your punch card stamped!! (I usually forget). A must do in Springfield; you'll probably run in to someone you know!

Yelp
I went to the new Springfield farmers market for the first time this weekend. It is still up-and-coming, but it is certainly off to a great start. It is still under construction, and parking is a little interesting because it is mostly the hotel's parking. Also, I think the only bathrooms are port-a-potties. But I heard there are plans for building a pavilion (hopefully with real potties). There are 2 large tents with most of the vendors under them, which is great. Although it was a cool weekend, the tents (and eventually the pavilion) will certainly be nice in the summer. This market was larger than I expected, and there are all sorts of vendors. There were vendors selling plants for people starting their summer gardens. You could get baby food, dog treats, baked goods, fresh fruits, veggies, and herbs, pickles, cheese, bread, coffee, honey, eggs, seafood, meat, crepes, and empanadas. There was also some great live music, which was nice and unimposing. Everyone was super friendly, and you could tell that the vendors were passionate about their local products. I am very excited about the promise that this market shows and know it will only get better as it goes.

Yelp
This is a great Farmer's Market! It has been rated in the Top 100 Farmers Markets in the US. When you go, go hungry! There are several food trucks selling breakfast, BBQ, pizza and more. There are a large number of farmers from around the area present, so stroll thru and check out their booths. There is a big price difference on some items so definitely do your comparison shopping. Seen today were huge, beautiful heirloom tomatoes, eggplants, garden potatoes, basil. One of the most popular booths is run by the Amish selling fresh pies and breads. Awesome music was playing in the background and there were plenty of places to sit and people watch!

Yelp
I love it when they have a lot of Amish here we always find the nicer things when a lot of Amish folks are selling their goods. Great as always though, less hipster ultra trendy folks this time, which made it even more a pleasant trip. We found a few folks who accepted debit cards which came in handy since my wife and I forgot to hit the ATM machine before we went lol.

Yelp
Love this Farmer's Market. Love that is' open all year round. Love that lots of people bring their dogs with them on Saturdays (if only they would then go home, so I could just play with puppies while getting great locally-grown foodstuffs). The Thursday market is nice too (in the event I can't make it on a Saturday), but it's severely limited in vendors compared to a typical Saturday. Overall, I really like this Farmer's Market, but sometimes I can't handle the crowds. That's pretty much my biggest con to this place, i.e., I have to sometimes prepare myself and my non-existent patience to handle the crowds.

Yelp
I really enjoyed it there this morning. The smell of roasting jalapeños was alluring. So much to see and buy. Seafood, vegetables, mushrooms, bison and goat meat, jewelry, folk art, breads, tastings, fruits, and so much more. Only thing I feel could improve it would be heat lamps or fire pit to warm up by and maybe an outdoor dining area.

Yelp
One of the best farmers markets I have ever been to. Wonderful people open even in a snow storm shows dedication.

Yelp
My greyhound, a retired racer, and I visited the Farmers Market of the Ozarks on 4/9/2016. Most vendors were very helpful and informative. The prices I felt were on the high side and parking was problematic. If you take your dog when you visit be sure to have your dog's Canine Good Citizen certificate issued by the American Kennel Club in your pocket otherwise you will be asked not to bring your dog again until he/she has a certificate. When I was approached by a vendor about my dog's certificate, I felt obligated to leave the market immediately leaving behind un-purchased lovely looking Marinara sauce and salsa. My greyhound, who has had much more training than the average dog, and I will now ONLY visit the Greater Springfield Farmers Market located at Glenstone Ave and Battlefield Rd.
