"When Farmer’s Table splashed onto the La Mesa scene in 2017, it marked the area as an up-and-coming dining destination. To this day, Farmer’s Table remains just as popular with residents for its woodfired pizzas and Italian-American dishes using locally sourced ingredients." - Darlene Horn

"Farmer’s Table, the all-day restaurant that has drawn consistent crowds since it debuted last year in La Mesa, launches a second location this Thursday in the Clairemont Village Shopping Center at the junction of Clairemont and Bay Park. Located next to Sprouts Farmers Market, the 3,500-square-foot restaurant is outfitted in all manner of repurposed farm trappings, including a decommissioned tractor; it’ll opens at 8 a.m. with a daytime menu that features a global panoply of egg dishes, from French omelets to Italian frittatas, Mexican huevos rancheros, and classic American eggs Benedict, all made with eggs from Eben-Haezer Poultry Ranch in Ramona. There’s also French toast and pancakes, plus lunchtime fare like salads and sandwiches; don’t miss the extreme Bloody Marys, garnished with a bacon-wrapped hot dog or a whole roast chicken." - Candice Woo
