Farook Halal Food

Wonderful halal cart! The food was flavorful, fresh, and crazy inexpensive. Agree with some other reviews, if the pita was a little crispy it would be 11/10. The white sauce and lamb are especially good. The lettuce was a little wilted, but for the price I can't complain. Skip the two-block-long line at Halal Guys and support a smaller place.

Very good halal. The combo over rice was delicious. The chopped pita and the loyalty cards are the best parts of this place. However I do wish the pita was a bit more grilled and I wish the salad had a bit more in it and maybe some more variety in vegetables. I know that’s not standard for halal cart but I do think that is what would make this a 10/10 for me instead of 9/10. Nonetheless though very delicious and I recommend trying if you’re in the area.

Hate when vendors take advantage of you. He flipped the screen so I couldn’t see the total price, turns out charged me $2 surcharge for using my phone to pay. Came here bc of the good reviews.. but I eat halal carts most days, and this quantity of meat isn’t more or better. Sharing my experience here so you have a heads up!

The hot sauce is real hot sauce not tobasco.

Really small amount of rice compare to others no much flavor sorry it realy plain just food coloring tricks you, but the price it's great no one beat that.

The best halal cart I had during my time in NYC, whether chicken or lam over rice it hit every time without fail and the red sauce also the best I've had. Farook super awesome #1
