8 Iconic St. Louis Foods and Where to Try Them - AFAR

"A longtime Hill neighborhood spot that has been serving the city’s signature toasted ravioli since 1956; the dish features breadcrumb-coated ravioli (usually filled with ground beef, though variations exist) that are fried until crisp, finished with a sprinkle of Parmesan, and served with warm marinara. The ravioli make a classic appetizer and pair naturally with the restaurant’s St. Louis–style pizzas for an authentic local meal." - Asonta Benetti

A local fav! Pizza- possibly the best StL style in the county- Go Vinny's! Pastas are fab too! Nice vino selection. Have used for catering several times & it was superior too.

Medium size restaurant,.Good atmosphere.food was good. Service was excellent by Reggie. After being away from home for years, this is a nice new option to try. The parking lot is small when it gets crowded in the evenings. Definitely worth a try. offers indoor and outdoor seating. .

Google
All the food tasted better than expected. They had a homemade unique flavor and was really tasty. I feel the pasta meal should come with a salad. We also had to ask for bread don't know if that's normal or the person forgot to bring it out. I didn't like having to walk up to the second floor to get in the restaurant. It was $70 that included the tip. That was for 1 soda 1 tea, side salad, lasagna, pasta con broccoli

Google
The food was quite tasty and reasonably priced. We sat in the rear where there is a bar and part of the room looks like a semi permanent tent structure. Infrared overhead heat was a bit much at times and the room was very loud. I am quite noise sensitive so... Our server was quite lovely. Attentive and willing to hang out and chat for a bit at times. Overall a good experience. Very good food, good service with what may be iffy atmosphere for some. Still I would recommend.

Google
Best St. Louis–style GLUTEN-FREE pizza I’ve ever had. Period. I’ve been searching for years to find a gluten-free pizza that truly tastes like real St. Louis–style pizza, and this is the first one that actually delivers. I worked at Pirrone’s Pizza for 10 years, so I don’t say this lightly — this gluten-free pizza is absolutely comparable to the top STL-style pizzas in the city. The crust, the texture, the overall bite… it finally scratches that classic St. Louis pizza itch without the gluten aftermath. 🙏 PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE — Firatos — keep these gluten-free crusts on the menu. I’m begging you. If you’re gluten-free and miss true St. Louis–style pizza, this is the one.

Google
I should have looked at the reviews from low to high. I don't know they have been in business since 1956 unless there are new owners?? Went 20 minutes out of our way (on a orad trip) to grab pizza to enjoy at the Arch. What a mistake. Burnt and tasteless. Frozen pizza would have been better. Waste of time and $15 as we through it in the trash., Terrible.

Google
Given the abundance of great Italian restaurants on the Hill, it's hard to find an Italian place elsewhere to stand out in St. Louis. Yet Farotto's does. Their menu has all your favorites, has a very pleasant environment / nice bar, and uses fresh ingredients prepared exceptionally well. The servers and bartenders and well trained and pleasant. Toss in an exceptional patio and reasonable prices. Still makes for my favorite Italian place outside the Hill.

Google
Getting a table for ten took a bit, but the waiting area kept us comfortable and in good spirits. Once seated, everything was fantastic. The staff was super nice, the pizza was ridiculously good — St. Louis style, but seriously elevated. The pasta was just as great. The atmosphere hit that perfect balance of cool without being too casual. I’d absolutely go back.

Yelp
I cannot begin to describe how much I enjoyed my experience at this place. From the food, service, ambiance everything was above and beyond. The manager Lindsey made me feel like I was a new friend. I could not be happier. Thank you again for a wonderful afternoon!

Yelp
Food is AMAZING you can't go without getting the toasted ravioli! A family friendly establishment with amazing service, food, and environment! HIGHLY recommend coming!

Yelp
One of my daughter's favorite spots - I dined here a couple times and it is a very unique place. First and foremost the food is tremendous and the service is tops. What stands out is the way this establishment is set up. I like all the different rooms and outside options. Bartenders are also top notch.

Yelp
We had a guest from Atlanta visiting here last month. She took us to a nice Italian restaurant. So we returned the favor by taking her to Farotto's. We got there and got a glass of wine while we waited for a table to become available. Our wait was not very long but we looked at the menu long enough to place our order immediately after we were seated. I got there and antipasto platter as my entree, my girl got chicken parmesan and our guest ordered garlic crusted salmon. The waitress who served us got us each another glass of wine. She was very attentive. The food arrived at the table fresh from the kitchen in less than 30 minutes! My antipasto board was too much for me alone so the ladies helped me finish it off. They were very complementary about the chicken and the salmon. The restaurant was packed yet we could converse quite easily without screaming. I love outdoor dining here! The value for your dollar here is very good. We will return soon.

Yelp
So it was Sunday evening and I was scrolling looking for something to eat. I googled "pesto pasta" and to my surprise, Farotto's popped up. I was excited because I had only been here a few times but was excited to try their food. I arrived and per usual, sat in the bar area. It took a while for me to get water, so I was bit disappointed in that. When the server finally came, although I was ready to give him my entire order, as soon as I told him what I wanted to drink, he turned and walked the other way. When he finally came back, I ordered a small caesar and the pasta farotto. The salad came out rather quickly and although the parm crisps were good, that was about it. The balsamic dressing I got was way too salty and it made it tough to eat. I ate what I could tolerate but that was only to hold me over until the real food arrived and when it did, that's when things took a turn. First, I had NO idea the portions were that large. They could easily serve four people comfortably. The first few bites were underwhelming. What I thought would be the highlight of my dad ended up being a buzzkill. The pasta literally tasted like something of a frozen dinner. The sauce was watery, lacked flavor, and wasn't good. I literally had four bites and decided that was enough, so I asked for the check and dipped. This visit was a bit disappointing. I'd be willing to come back and give them another shot, but I also don't want to be left disappointed.

Yelp
Very cool open place.. first time weirdly.... It was really busy at lunch and still had great service. Loved the cannoli and flash fried spinach. (Off menu). Kudos to the friendly fast service & delicious food! I will be back! Great gf options!

Yelp
Farotto's is one of my favorite STL style pizzas and is located on Manchester Rd in Rock Hill. I've been there there times and I keep going back for the supreme pizza that is wonderful although is kind of salty. The place was pretty busy on a Saturday night so we grabbed seats at the bar and that was fine although a little noisy but they got out our pizza, arancini, and t-rav appetizers fresh and hot and didn't take too long at all. Friendly service too, maybe I'll get pasta next time I go back.

Yelp
I am a food and entertainment critic who covers the Chicago and St Louis markets. I call it like I see and experience it. I stand by my reviews. Farotto's has been a St Louis favorite since 1956 spanning multiple generations. The restaurant is still owned by the original family members. They've expanded it too. Their outside patio although still under cover is fantastic. They have a large bar with several giant TVs. On a warm summer night it's fantastic. I hold restaurants accountable. I look at their mission statement and how they describe themselves. Funny how the food and service does not back up the bold talk. What the owner claims since he started working at the restaurant since he was 11 years old was, he discovered that people really want from a restaurant is high quality food, the best service, and fair prices. Their mission statement boast can be assured of receiving quality meals with world class service. Let's talk about the world class service. As we all know St Louis was just under extreme heat with heat indexes of over 100. My first glass of water had Ice and was very cold on such a hot night. My ice had melted and when the server came around to refill, his pitcher had NO ice and the water was cool to slightly warm at best. C'mon, really! Common sense, and world class service says, get ice in the pitcher! I order their "signature" roast beef sandwich on a garlic cheese roll with fresh Parmesan potato chips. The roast beef sandwich was juicy, but I hate to say it, tasted and had the consistency like something from Arby's. I finished it but really didn't like it. I expected the garlic cheese roll to be bursting with flavor and it wasn't. You hardly tasted the garlic cheese. Honestly, if you want the FINEST Italian roast beef sandwich and truly a signature dish, the BEST in St Louis is Grassi's in Frontenac off Lindbergh and German Blvd. I was hesitant to try the fresh parmesan potato chips but I figured why not. Sounded good. The chips were home made which I like but there was literally no flavor. They must have really skimped on the parmesan. To be fair, let's talk about the pizza. The Light Italian Pizza was very good. Consisting of olive oil, mozzarella, garlic, spinach, mushroom, and large chunks of tomato was very good. Even just as good the second day as a leftover. Bottom line is this, go to Farratos, order what you want but do not get the roast beef sandwich. There's better elsewhere. Make sure the server has COLD water WITH ICE. Mr Farrotto needs to look at his mission statement and his philosophy and don't rest on his laurels. The bar keeps getting raised.

Yelp
The toasted ravs are outstanding and so is the staff! Excellent bar drinks. Our family has been coming here for ravs since Farotto's opened

Yelp
The biggest thing for me was getting a reservation for 14! We had initially requested the patio- then when I looked at the weather I was nervous and called them and they changed us to inside. No issues. We had great service and of 14 people we only had one blip. One had requested no mushrooms and it came loaded with mushrooms- it was promptly corrected. It all went so smoothly. My husband and I shared the GOAT pizza and it was so good! The crispy spinach on top was perfection. I didn't get any food pictures which is a shame. It all looked delicious and everyone was pleased- which is difficult to achieve with a large group!

Yelp
After getting back into town from a long weekend on the Mississippi coast (driving, mind you), I was in no mood to cook or to grab another quick/fast-food meal so we decided on a close to home stop. All I really wanted was to get a healthy-ish meal like a salad or anything not fried. My husband suggested Farotto's and I was too exhausted to argue against Italian. My eyes went immediately to the salads. Such a good variety of options. I chose the Beet and Chèvre salad. I can't lie though, the First Bites (appetizers) sounded amazing and I was secretly hoping my husband would suggest a starter like the Arancini Pizziolo but I suppose that makes a great reason to return soon. We both opted for small salads and to split a small supreme pizza. My Beet Chèvre salad was a work of art. A visually stunning presentation of a pretty basic salad with amazing flavor profiles. My only complaint, and I hate to call it a complaint because I LOVE goat cheese, was the ratio of cheese to beet. It was too much and overpowered the beet. The dressing and balsamic was DE-licious and those pickled onions...yum. Let's talk pizza...one of the best thin crust pizzas in town. Fresh toppings and a crispy thin crust cooked to perfection! The perfect ratio of sauce, cheese and toppings cooked to the perfect wellness; light and crispy with a well done finish. We were seated on the enclosed deck and it had a really relaxed vibe and heaters to keep it nice and cozy for the chilly evening. It was a breath of fresh air (pun intended) that it was not noisy, despite being pretty busy on a Tuesday night. The service was impeccable. From the time we walked in the door, the staff was very attentive, accommodating and friendly. Although our visit was for a lighter fare, the menu proved to be filled with many items that I'd love to try when I haven't been pumped full of southern fried delights for days. I will definitely go back.

Yelp
Hot diggity diggin' dog was it busy. Service was absolutely stellar, shoutout to Nicole. She was very attentive, checked up on us just enough. I knew that our table was very rowdy so i'm glad that she could bear with it. The place will be filled. That is a expectation. Restrooms and seating areas were sparkling clean! Nothing to complain about in terms of ambiance. Roomy and spacious, not crammed at all. Parking lot is a little small though. Prices weren't as great as I thought though, it wasn't at the right value in my opinion. Food was decent though, it was filling and well portioned. Just enough to eat by yourself or share with two, same could go for dessert. Dessert was absolutely delicious, not too sweet and light. I wouldn't come here again, the food I found only to be average but the dessert made up for it. It was nice to try Faratto's though, it was.

Yelp
If you happen to be on Manchester in the Rock Hill area be sure to stop by Farottos for an authentic Italian meal! We went on a Saturday afternoon and sat on their expansive deck with several tv's to enjoy basketball or Cardinals baseball. There were couples, families with young children and girls day out groups all enjoying themselves. We started with the complimentary bread basket which was so soft and delicious! Our appetizer of toasted raviolis came out quickly and was a large portion. The dipping sauce is so flavorful and the best I've had in this area. Shortly after we received our entrees. Go simple and enjoy the large portion of spaghettini and meatballs and you won't regret it! Our waiter was friendly and kept our water filled despite the large crowd. I just have nothing but the highest compliments for this establishment!

Rod B.

Yelp
Always good food and great service. Sometimes it is a bit too busy so plan ahead or order carry-out.

Sherry L.

Yelp
Everyone is nice and the food is amazing. The prices are reasonable and it is very busy.

Yelp
Well if you're in business for 69 years you have to be doing something right and I suspect Farotto's has been doing it right all that time. My wife and I went for dinner on a Wednesday night around 5:30pm. The parking lot was full, but there was street parking nearby. We were able to get a table for 2 inside after a few minutes of waiting and were promptly greeted by our server who took our drink order and brought us some water and bread. The bread was soft and chewy and with a little butter was a delicious treat with my House Chardonnay. My wife and I split a small salad which was plenty for both of us. It had a combination of blue cheese and provel along with green and Kalamata olives and Salami. It was a great salad. I ordered the baked rigatoni in a vodka sauce with shrimp. I was worried the pasta was going to be overcooked, but was really surprised that it was "al dente". The sauce was delicious and the shrimp that came with it were just fabulous and fresh. I tasted my wife's Lasagna and it was really good and she loved it. We were so happy to find this restaurant and are looking forward to coming here frequently and trying the rest of the menu. The restaurant has an air conditioned inside, a banquet area downstairs and a huge covered deck outside. Looking forward to spending some time on the deck in the fall.

Yelp
Farotto's has an amazing huge patio (which is enclosed and heated in the winter) and is a great dinner spot! For my entree I got the pasta farotto. It was a big portion and absolutely delicious. Everything my friends ordered looked tasty as well, I will have to come back to try more of their menu. Our waiter was very attentive and had good suggestions for menu items to try.

Ron H.

Yelp
10/10/25 Lunch for 4. Not our first time. Upstairs, a beautiful day, Our server Nicole was great, food excellent and all the pasta was served as if it just came from the oven. (very nice), casual atmosphere. Well worth the drive from far South County, Of course we will be back, Ron H

Yelp
Well we met our county friends for a meet up before we went to the ballgame. They shared their spare tickets they got from another friend. We parked at Farotto's and drove downtown to the game in 1 vehicle. Our friend's kept saying "The supreme pizza is my favorite pizza and it is the best pizza I ever had. I do not like supreme pizza so much but I did order the Margherita pizza with the red sauce, (you can choose your choice of sauces ,cheeses and of course toppings). My pizza was fantastic!. The red sauce had a great mouthfeel you could taste the tomato sweetness highlighting the basil and mozzarella cheese. Simple but elegant. The ladies both ordered the Spinach salad. This collection of flavors walnuts,sun-dried cranberries, feta cheese and red onions with a raspberry vinaigrette dressing sou ds great. I did not taste it but the comments when asked were mixed. Mostly the feta cheese was too salty. Perhaps not drained enough. One liked the saltiness the other not so much. Decide for yourself.I was impressed with the menu offers. I would put this up against any restaurant on the Hill (the Italian neighborhood) in south St. Louis.

Yelp
In town for wife's funeral. Married 55 years. We live in California. I wanted St. Louis pizza. My hometown. Four of our party of six did not order pizza. Only me and one friend. He liked his ok. I could not eat mine. I think it might have been the provel cheese. Only in St. Louis. Waitress and manager were really terrific. Took it back and took charge off the bill. Also very apologetic when they did no wrong. Other dishes were ok I was told. Actually tasted part of roast beef sandwich and did not like it very well. Woman who gave it to me said it was just ok. I thought employees here were just really good.
google avatar

Ken M.

Yelp
Visited with friends. Not disappointed. Service was great. The server was attentive to our table and took drink orders and food orders in a timely manner. Answered questions about menu items and was correct in his assessments. Food was served quickly and all orders were at the correct temperature. Special request were met. Flavor was great. This is a definite stop to place. Even my request to have the heater turned down just a bit was met with a smile. Do yourself a favor and stop in for a great time and meal.

Cresta W.

Yelp
Service was slow, back patio was nice. Waiting on drinks from front bar and not the bar in front of us seemed odd and took forever. Food was just ok. Pizza was much better last time and dressing was barely there on salad
google avatar

Greg S.

Yelp
First off I have to say this was mine and my friend (Red) 3rd or 4th time dining at this establishment. The first time here was very good each time since has been less appealing. This experience on a Sunday at 4pm was the least impressive. To start with the linen napkins at our table we're both badly stained from something black on them. The service was good by waitstaff and bus help. The food not so. I had the spaghetti and meatballs at $ 19 in a red sauce that was thin and runny, the taste of the sauce was garlic and salt. The meatballs were ok a little to salty but ok. My friend Red, had cannelonni in a white sauce $14, the sauce itself was thin and runny and red stated it had no real flavor, she had two to three bites and asked for a box. We also ordered garlic cheese $8 bread, when it arrived to the table it was not hot, the cheese bread had no taste except garlic. The wait staff did a good job and service was quite good, however the pasta and cheese bread was not as good.
google avatar

Michelle L.

Yelp
First time here and was glad we stopped by, please beware the parking is rather tight so you may have to drive around a bit to find a spot. They have inside and outside dining available , full bar, TVs, specials and a private room for events. The house salad was good but the star of the show was the Meat Lovers Pizza, cracker thin crust covered with a deliciously flavored sauce and loaded with a combination of mozzarella and provel cheese, bacon, pepperoni and sausage and baked to perfection. Definitely a must try if you are in the area.
google avatar

Dorothy G.

Yelp
They were able to sit us quick despite the restaurant being full which was great! The waitress was nice as well. We got bruschetta and it was refreshing. I got spaghettini with meat sauce and it was delicious! The meal was a large portion which could've been a shareable meal. The seasonal drinks were amazing as well.
google avatar

Daniel B.

Yelp
Wow. This was our first time here and despite the "vacation menu" the options were good, the serving sizes were massive, and the taste was on par with the best Mediterranean food I've ever had. The service was more than sufficient for the crowd at the time (2pm). We will definitely be going again outside of their summer vacation to try their full menu.
google avatar

Katie W.

Yelp
We went to Farotto's for my husband's birthday dinner. Nicole, our server, was fantastic and answered all of our questions. Upon entering, I couldn't believe how much the restaurant had grown. I have not been there in over 10 years, and it looks totally different, for the better. We sat on a covered patio with a full bar and plenty of tables. The food was just as I remembered. We started with cheese garlic bread as an appetizer, got a small house salad, small Caesar salad, pepperoni pizza, and chicken parmesan. Everything was delicious, and the service was quick and efficient. We may have found our favorite Italian restaurant.
google avatar

Parker B.

Yelp
Farotto's has always been our go to for birthdays and celebrations. We sat on the back porch tonight. The atmosphere is always fun. They were accommodating to our large group of fourteen. We ordered the toasted ravioli, garlic cheese bread, meatballs, pepperoni pizza and house salad. They have the best toasted ravioli in St. Louis. They are crunchy with the perfect amount of filling. We love their pizza but it is very thin St. Louis style. My only complaint is their parking lot is small. There is a street behind the restaurant where you can usually get a spot.
google avatar

Diane B.

Yelp
Nice atmosphere, great service and food, love their pizza, drinks and salads! Very accommodating for guests

Yelp
I've been coming to Farottos since I was little, and it always delivers! We came here after a cold walk at the park for lunch, and a delicious meal on the heated patio was just what we were looking for. We got there right when they opened at 11, and we're welcomed warmly. I ordered a Diet Coke and we were given warm bread. Their patio is fabulous and so great all year round, definitely one of my favorites! My friend and I split the veggie pizza with chicken and I got a small house salad. It's the StL classic with provel which is always a win in my book. The pizza is stl style, square cut and crispy crust. Delicious. My dad got pasta which looked incredible- it came with fresh mozzarella on top, and my stepmom raved about her turkey melt. Service was great!

Rick K.

Yelp
The pizza was really good service.Excelleit's really nice atmosphere inside. We sat outside in the patio.

Yelp
Delicious food and ambience. Nothing. Service was spot on and food was delivered hot and fresh. My first time but not my last time. Enjoy! Great family restaurant!

Yelp
My friend had his rehearsal dinner here and the food was absolutely delicious! We had a private room downstairs. Started with lemon pepper chicken skewers (a bit dry and bland but lean), and smoked salmon on pesto toast with feta (everyone's fave). The 2 salads were my favorite. Caesar with these delicious crumbly croutons and shaved parmesan and the house salad with provel cheese (I have heard about this St. Louis native cheese and it was so good!) The butternut squash soup was so delicious. It was rich and creamy and so smooth. They gave massive serving spoons with it so I just drank from the soup cup like a warm beverage. The toasted ravioli was good with the marinara. I have heard so much about it. There was also carbonara which was very delicious and rich and cheesy au gratin potatoes. There was also some chicken and beef which I didn't really eat since I am not a huge meat person but the mushrooms on the beef were good. They finished with lemon squares which were also good. Can't wait to come back here and try more items! We parked next door in the open lot.

Debbie K.

Yelp
First the good news! We had a really good waitress and although some of the food was stone cold by the time we ate it ( see below) the chicken spiedini was outstanding! This is the long winded part but I feel people should know how private events work at Farotto's. We had a family gathering in a separate room in the restaurant. It was very difficult to get anyone to actually talk to me on the phone so everything was done by email with "Melanie" Farotto's website gave a minimum of $500 in food and drinks for reserving the room in August , when they emailed the contract it stated $750 minimum. They " honored to $500", said the website wasn't updated. I said I was grateful. The appetizer buffet for 16 would be $400 but with drinks I knew I could hit the $500 minimum. The contract had another surprise, there is a 23% " labor charge" that is not a gratuity. I emailed to ask if I was expected to tip our lone waitress on top of the labor charge. Answer was " up to you but most people give gratuity ". I did speak to Lisa LaRuffa when I gave my credit card info a few days before the event. We agreed the food would come out 30 minutes after the event started. I said some of us would be early but go by the reserved time of 5pm/ food out at 5:30. The minute we arrived they started bringing food out ( 45 minutes early! ) and I told the waitress it was supposed to be later. She said she couldn't do anything about it now. When she looked at the catering order at the end of the event it was written in there but no one communicated it to the waitress. The 6 kids meals were ice cold. Most of the food was barely warm from sitting there but we ate it. They refilled some of the items and it was REALLY good hot! I love Farrotto's food, we used to go there a lot but we moved away. I was hoping my family would get to see why we liked it so much. By the time they added the 23% labor charge, 3% credit card fee , and sales tax I felt it was really overpriced. My $472 initial food bill was over $700 with all the fees. I think with drinks ( which also had a 23% labor charge added! ) it was $1100. Then a well earned gratuity on top for the waitress.

Yelp
Have been going to Farotto's for 30+ years. Always order the Toasted Ravs and a Bacon pizza, have a Stella or two, leave fat and happy. Today went there with my wife and sister and her husband. Decided to try something than our "usual". Ordered the Chicken Spiedini with Risotto. It was delicious and the best Risotto I have tasted. The service like always was great. Even with the temperatures outdoors in the low 20s the Patio was warm and welcoming. The Chicken is a Seasonal disk menu item, I hope it sticks around for a while because I will order it again.
google avatar

Savannah K.

Yelp
Farotto's is great! The food is all delicious - from the apps, to sandwiches, pastas, pizza - everything! The staff is so friendly as well. Cute outdoor area to enjoy a beverage while you wait & also a covered patio area to eat. Indoor seating available but I recommend the outside area. There can be a bit of a wait but there's a reason.
google avatar

Brett G.

Yelp
A STL staple. The best thin crust St. Louis style pizza in the city. Attentive service with both a more traditional inside space and a nice pseudo-outdoor patio/sports bar space out back. Tempted to give 4 because the pricing is a little high for St. Louis but it's good enough at what it does.
google avatar

Lizzy L.

Yelp
I came here for lunch on Friday and LOVED the brightly lit, spacious dining room that felt like I was dining al fresco. We tried the lasagna, toasted ravioli, and mushroom risotto. Service was wonderful. The lasagna was delicious and I enjoyed the flavorful and fresh sauce. My mushroom risotto (I added chicken) was rich and creamy with flakes of parmesan cheese and i had enough for leftovers the next day. My daughter highly enjoyed the crispy toasted ravioli which came with a big container of marinara sauce for dipping. I think I've found my new go-to Italian restaurant!

Bob G.

Yelp
In town from Ohio. Our table had the the pasta and meatballs, lasagna, ravioli and baked penne ala vodka, all excellent. Great staff

Yelp
The salad was delicious. I had to take the leftovers home and there is enough from a small salad for another meal. My spouse ordered a meat lovers pizza. I have never had such thin crust and the toppings were tasty. Again, enough left for a meal. The next time I go, I plan to have something with anchovies, black olives and sliced green Oliver's. I am also going to have tiramisu for dessert. They also have cannoli. The service was friendly and competent but a tad slow. We actually sat in their covered porch and it was a perfect day for it. Not too cool and sunny. No bugs.

Yelp
Excellent St. Louis style pizza. The best crust I've had in STL so far. Nice atmosphere.

Yelp
I got the large beet salad and it was skimpy and the beets were pickled beets like from a jar. They might as well not have this on the menu. Very disappointing

Yelp
Our server was really good by being prompt with our meals and checking on us every couple of minutes. My daughter and I also give the food two thumbs up!!

Yelp
I just recently moved to Saint Louis and I hate to admit it to my new fellow Missourians, but I am not a fan of the toasted raviolis I have tried. That all changed when I came to Farottos. The toasted raviolis were perfectly filled, had the perfectly toasted crunch and paired so well with their delicious sauce. The service has always been great here, but Nicole was top notch! She was very personable, knowledgeable and made sure we had what we needed and more. Thank you Nicole! Plus they have the best Saint Louis style pizza in town!

Yelp
It was very very good. Got a sausage pizza with onions and tomatoes, and it was amazing.

Yelp
While this place is usually quite busy, and can give the appearance of a casual sports bar, the pastas are delicious. The vodka sauce is remarkably tasty.

Yelp
We had takeout last night. Love the food. Our total for spegnetti and meat balls and special farattos paste was 45.00 dollars. Not sure but that seems to be a lot for two pastas and no drinks.
