An Essential Guide to Eating Your Way Through Alberta | Eater

"It’s almost guaranteed that every time you stop into Farrow, an all-day sandwich spot with four locations across Edmonton, new sandwiches will be available. Recent standouts include a behemoth pulled pork sandwich with creamy dill slaw, and a fish faux-let (get it?) packed with vegan nuggets, guac, pico de gallo, and nacho chips. Pour-over coffees are their other specialty, so look for the daily roaster feature and don’t leave without a mega-sized stuffed cronut." - Kate Dingwall

I wandered in on a random weekday 30 minutes before closure and tried the Montreal smoked meat sandwich and the raspberry cronut. Both were quite delicious! I just wish that they carried sparkling water as all the options were pop or other sugary drinks. Either way, would definitely go back for lunch.

Super kind staff please visit this place, their sandwiches are delicious (I ate it so quick I didn’t get a photo) and I was given this cookie that was just the right texture and taste. I genuinely will visit this place many more times

Always love going to Farrow, by far the best sandwich place in the city! They always have fresh ingredients and it's a lovely little spot to sit down and enjoy a breakfast or lunch sandwich. They have weekly features for meat and vegetarian options, as well as new "cronuts" they feature! They are a doughnut that's made with croissant bread, if I'm not mistaken. They are always a treat, and the sandwiches are always good and filling. The grick is easily the biggest staple of theirs, and I go all the time with friends. Really good prices, great quality, and awesome service!

This cute little place was just a block from our hotel so we decided to grab a quick breakfast. We ordered the Grick and it was made PERFECTLY! The egg was perfection with a nice soft yolk and the bacon.....YUM! Wow! Everything in the sandwich was spectacular! And then I eyed up the homemade doughnuts and HAD to have one...or two. I had a chat with the baker and was so nice and let me know everything was definitely homemade. What a great experience with amazing staff and amazing food. I can't wait to go back tomorrow for breakfast!

I'm so glad that this sandwich shop was close to the hotel during my short stay in Edmonton. I've tried their breakfast and beef sandwiches, and a cronut. Everything was great, although having no sugar on cronut would be better since it's already very sweet :) The warm breakfast sandwich was something unbelievable and I'd add it to my top 3 best sandwiches ever. Great staff at the counter and cool design. Definitely a very pleasant surprise overall!

I grabbed the OG today for lunch and walked the 2 blocks back to work to eat it. When I got there and opened the Sandwhich the bread was soaked in sauce and totally wet/soggy and it wasn’t cut in half so it’s just a large soggy sandwhich. The flavour was okay but they need to package it differently to avoid the sauce dripping all over the bread I had to throw half of it away cause the bread was just mush.

I chose the chef beef. The sandwich ingredients look weird because there were chips inside but surprisingly it taste awesome. If you want beef sandwich I strongly recommend farrow!

Yelp
Great sandwiches with fresh ingredients. Only concern I have is it can be quite busy during lunch breaks (12:00-1:00) and often will be lined out the door. Roughly 20-25min wait during busy times.

Yelp
I have tried the Farrow thats on 109 st. And it was delicious. I never thought it could get better. Farrow on Jasper Avenue is a small sandwich shop with just a few options. I ordered the vegan sandwich and a coffee. The vegan sandwich was pulled jackfruit with pickles, lettuce and olives. The sandwich was $11.95 and the size is pretty good. Let me tell you that from the bread to the condiments, Farrow nailed it. Without a doubt the best sandwich I have ever had. I highly recommend for anyone who wants to try something new. The coffee was also pretty good but the star of this show are the sandwiches.

Yelp
Unbelievable flavours and the best bread. So great. An incredible find. A couple of picnic tables outside to enjoy such great combination of flavours

Yelp
I came here to pick up a downtown dining week lunch special as requested by my in-laws since I was making takeout rounds from various participating restaurants. The OG sandwich was the only sandwich special being offered when I came, but it's a pretty good deal. The combo included a drink and a dessert...I'd say that's a pretty well rounded offering! They are covid protocol compliant, max people limit posted at door, one way traffic flow and designated spaces areas as capacity allows. I got the food about 5 minutes after ordering (not long at all for 2 combos!) and my in-laws said they really liked the sandwich (pulled pork) & the churro blondie cookie sandwich: the size of the sandwich is more like a foot long sub in my eyes to be honest! Now that I know this creative place exists AND that they make CRONUTS, I will have to come back to eat here. They also have vegan bbq pulled jackfruit version of the OG which also has me curious about that...and I'm not even vegan!

Yelp
Absolutely love their sandwiches and is our go to whenever we are in need of a on the go lunch. Only issue lately is that the service and time to make the sandwiches have gotten longer and longer. Today I only had one person in front of me and we waited at over 20 min for our 2 sandwiches.
