An Essential Guide to Eating Your Way Through Alberta | Eater

"It’s almost guaranteed that every time you stop into Farrow, an all-day sandwich spot with four locations across Edmonton, new sandwiches will be available. Recent standouts include a behemoth pulled pork sandwich with creamy dill slaw, and a fish faux-let (get it?) packed with vegan nuggets, guac, pico de gallo, and nacho chips. Pour-over coffees are their other specialty, so look for the daily roaster feature and don’t leave without a mega-sized stuffed cronut." - Kate Dingwall

Google
I got the Grick Middle, It was a generous portion for a breakfast sandwich and mostly very good. The arugula and rosemary aioli were nice bonuses compared to plain lettuce and mayo in many other breakfast sandwiches. However, it was SO salty, overpoweringly so by the end of the sandwich. I also would have preferred sliced tomatoes to the tomato jam and that would help manage the insane saltiness.

All 3 locations always make great sandwiches is like they have the formula down packed . Friendly staff .

I wandered in on a random weekday 30 minutes before closure and tried the Montreal smoked meat sandwich and the raspberry cronut. Both were quite delicious! I just wish that they carried sparkling water as all the options were pop or other sugary drinks. Either way, would definitely go back for lunch.

I've been a fan of Farrow for years, however I rarely visit the Downtown location as it's not the most convenient. Today I decided to place an order over the phone as I was nearby. I called to order the feature and the vegan option for pickup. The person who answered the phone had some attitude when I mentioned I wanted to place an order, letting me know they closed on 30 minutes. I said no worries, I'm only 10 minutes away. The attitude didn't change when I got there but oh well, what can you do? My gripe with my experience was when I got home, the vegan sandwich was unlike what was on the menu, no roasted corn and no pickled onions, which was us strange because it's called 'KoRn The Band-wich' so I expected there to at least be corn. Instead, it had pickles and tomatoes. Now, I'm sure they ran out of the intended ingredients, however, I would have appreciated them letting me know that they were out of those ingredients, as I likely wouldn't have ordered the sandwich. Instead I had to eat something that I didn't exactly order. Not the worst thing I've never eaten but definitely a disappointment compared to what I was expecting.

My boyfriend and I love Farrow, and usually come to this location when we are out and want a quick bite. Often we are helped by Liam, who is super friendly and offers great service! We also love that you have a dedicated vegan sandwich and vegan treats, and I always enjoy grabbing the crossword :) We’ll be back soon I’m sure!

Super kind staff please visit this place, their sandwiches are delicious (I ate it so quick I didn’t get a photo) and I was given this cookie that was just the right texture and taste. I genuinely will visit this place many more times

Visit: June 2023 The atmosphere was nice, aesthetic, and quite cute. I got the chef beef sandwich. The sandwich was pretty balanced in taste, s good balance between the salt from the meat with the fattiness of the sauce, and the fresh greens to cut through it all. The chips were a nice texture component, but I found that there was a bit too much in there and it messed with the eating experience a bit. Overall, tasty sandwich, greet atmosphere, friendly staff, but a bit pricey given the size of the sandwich

I went to the famous Farrow when I was in Edmonton to try their doughnuts. I have to tell you that they are delicious and worth the walk of a few km! my friend tried their cronuts and sandwiches and also loved them! The staff are really super nice and the vibe 10/10 - I recommend this place

Yelp
Great sandwich and donut and really quite quick service. Seating is limited at lunch, but turns over relatively quickly. Restroom is basic but serviceable. Art is fun: the ceiling especially so.

Yelp
Great sandwiches with fresh ingredients. Only concern I have is it can be quite busy during lunch breaks (12:00-1:00) and often will be lined out the door. Roughly 20-25min wait during busy times.

Yelp
I have tried the Farrow thats on 109 st. And it was delicious. I never thought it could get better. Farrow on Jasper Avenue is a small sandwich shop with just a few options. I ordered the vegan sandwich and a coffee. The vegan sandwich was pulled jackfruit with pickles, lettuce and olives. The sandwich was $11.95 and the size is pretty good. Let me tell you that from the bread to the condiments, Farrow nailed it. Without a doubt the best sandwich I have ever had. I highly recommend for anyone who wants to try something new. The coffee was also pretty good but the star of this show are the sandwiches.

Yelp
Unbelievable flavours and the best bread. So great. An incredible find. A couple of picnic tables outside to enjoy such great combination of flavours

Yelp
I came here to pick up a downtown dining week lunch special as requested by my in-laws since I was making takeout rounds from various participating restaurants. The OG sandwich was the only sandwich special being offered when I came, but it's a pretty good deal. The combo included a drink and a dessert...I'd say that's a pretty well rounded offering! They are covid protocol compliant, max people limit posted at door, one way traffic flow and designated spaces areas as capacity allows. I got the food about 5 minutes after ordering (not long at all for 2 combos!) and my in-laws said they really liked the sandwich (pulled pork) & the churro blondie cookie sandwich: the size of the sandwich is more like a foot long sub in my eyes to be honest! Now that I know this creative place exists AND that they make CRONUTS, I will have to come back to eat here. They also have vegan bbq pulled jackfruit version of the OG which also has me curious about that...and I'm not even vegan!

Yelp
Absolutely love their sandwiches and is our go to whenever we are in need of a on the go lunch. Only issue lately is that the service and time to make the sandwiches have gotten longer and longer. Today I only had one person in front of me and we waited at over 20 min for our 2 sandwiches.
