The Newest Restaurant and Bar Closures in Minneapolis and St. Paul | Eater Twin Cities
"A beloved mainstay on St. Paul’s University Avenue announced it would close the weekend of June 17; a brief Facebook post drew many nostalgic comments from longtime customers who shared memories of bringing friends and celebrating milestones there." - Justine Jones
Walked in for dinner around 6 pm. Door was unlocked but no one was around. There was some incense that likely filled the air as you could actually see wasps of smoke filling the air. It wasn't unpleasant but a bit overpowering. I called out "hello" with no response. The smoke in the air was enough that I decided to leave and try somewhere else. I usually don't rate a restaurant I don't eat at but thought the atmosphere was worth mentioning.

The best Ethiopian food I have had in years! Freshly baked injera, amazing attitude, and kind people. There is definitely some wait time, and they don't have enough people to order quickly, but the food more than makes up for it! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT!

Excellent food! This is a new restaurant with some growing pains, but the food is amazing. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The menu has some really great vegetarian options. There is plenty of seating available. Expect a bit of a wait time here, but the food is high quality and fresh!

This place has really good food and it feels super authentic. Everytime I've been in there it's just been mostly a bunch of Ethiopian people just hanging out and chatting away. It feels really nice to see that. And the chef is really good and very nice. She even comes out to give you the food herself! The wait staff are really nice as well. Just always a really good experience. Definitely recommend for a good meal in Sioux Falls!

As a certified chef, I can exactly tell that their food isn't fresh. One day I returned my order due to finding a dead chockroach in the food.
Delayed service, horrible food test and odor, 0 sanitization and unprofessional kitchen cleanliness makes it an appropriate place to eat.

Really good. Interms of actual taste. It is close to authentic Ethiopian food. This is coming from an Ethiopian.

Yum! This is kind of a hole in the wall place with excellent food. There was only one lady working (cooking and serving) so service was a little slow but it was fine, as we were a group having a good time. I had the veggie plate for one and it was absolutely delicious. Good portion sizes and enough enjira so I didn't have to order extra. Delicious wine also homemade. The lady working was so genuine and lovely. The veggie plate was enough to take half home. Great place to eat a filling meal.
