"Set on Jacksonville’s Southside, Fast Eddy’s Quick Mideast is a fun lunch spot that makes unique dishes that vary greatly from the chain restaurants nearby. From the moment diners walk in, the smell of spices and roasted meat hits the nose. The menu is loaded with Middle Eastern favorites like hummus, falafel and tabouli to start with. The sandwiches at the restaurant are a fan favorite, with shawarma pitas and plant-based eggplant burgers. For a comforting meal, the spicy chicken curry, a chicken and potato stew of sorts, is the way to go since the recipe has been passed through multiple generations of the owner’s family." - Megan duBois

Fast Eddy’s is an amazing place to dine in! The food was absolutely amazing, such good flavors and portions, especially the Chicken Tikka platter. The service was beyond great, the staff were extremely kind, quick and humble. The atmosphere is very comforting and the staff make you feel like a valued person at their restaurant. I will always recommend this place to any friend after my wonderful experience here!

Google
Excellent customer service, great tasting food. We had steak kabobs, Philly cheesesteak and they were serving a wrap with a soup dip that was a special for the day! Everything was good! We visited after church service at Celebration Church! We will definitely come back!

Google
We tried this restaurant based on other reviews and it did not disappoint. The vibes were great, the server was happy to explain the menu, and most of all the food was soooo good. We had the beef tikka and magic carpet ride (flight of stew+rice.) The pictures are from after we started eating, I don't usually take pictures of food but after eating some I wanted to tell my mom and sisters about it because it was that good.

I never thought I would love a taco that wasn't Mexican. Truly. For the last few months, I've been working my way slowly through the menu at Fast Eddy's. Why slowly? Because each time I try something new, it's my new favorite and I have to have it a few more times before I try something else. They have so many amazing menu items and I'm not even halfway through the menu. Today I'm enjoying my new favorite, the Karrada Chicken tacos. They're one of three different tacos under their Baghdad Street Tacos. They are so flavorful and fresh tasting. I wasn't sure how'd I'd feel about the combination of ingredients, but one thing Fast Eddy's knows best is how to combine flavors and they did not disappoint. Now let me tell you about some other things that Fast Eddy's knows best: 1) They know how to deliver a welcoming and friendly atmosphere. For real, I've never experienced the level of customer service that I find is Fast Eddy's, not in any city I've ever lived in. After a few visits, you'll even feel like you're part of the extended family. 2) They know their menu inside and out and never fail to answer questions or make suggestions based on your likes/dislikes. It can be difficult at first to choose with such a diverse menu of unique items, but they will help you and you will love the food. Once you're a regular, it will still be difficult to choose because everything is so good! 3) I think anyone 40+ remembers the chorus and theme song for the TV show Cheers: "Sometimes you wanna go Where everybody knows your name" Well guess what? Once they learn your name at Fast Eddy's....they don't forget you and greet you by name on every visit. 4) Fast Eddy's has a fun environment with a rock theme. The decor and memorabilia is pretty cool, and I spot something new every time I visit. Because the kitchen is open to the dining room and the bar overlooks the kitchen, you can sometimes feel as if you're sitting in their family kitchen, visiting and enjoying a family meal, while everyone banters like family. 5) Their menu is outstanding, full of family recipes as well as unique, middle eastern twists on American food. They have it all, from tasty and unique appetizers to flavorful soups and stews to ginormous grill plates, and more. I kid you not. They also have mouthwatering sandwiches, fresh salads, and the best curry ever. And there's so much that I haven't even tried yet. 6) I've never had better baklava. Ever. Buttery, light and flaky, and an amazing flavor and not too sweet. They make it fresh in house. You can't go wrong ordering it for dessert. So if you've been looking for a reason to try Fast Eddy's, stop waiting. You now have six good reasons. Just go.

Google
Great little spot with a very interesting recipe. Mrs had the Tika skewers and I got the steak tacos. Absolutely delicious. Looking forward to getting back there to try some of the other offerings.

Google
I had a fantastic experience at this establishment! The staff was incredibly accommodating and went above and beyond to make sure my meal was perfect. The food was absolutely delicious, with the sauces being a standout for me. The chicken Tikka and spicy chicken curry were both flavorful and cooked to perfection. I was also impressed by the generous portion sizes, ensuring that I left feeling satisfied. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great meal with exceptional service. I couldn't have asked for a better dining experience. I will definitely be returning in the future. Highly recommend!

Google
10/10 would recommend this place! Everyone was so nice and accommodating, and the food was nothing short of incredible! We tried the hummus and both styles of beef kababs. Everything was seasoned perfectly. Can’t wait to go back and try other items!

Google
I come here everytime I visit Jax. I enjoy all the food, service, and crowd that is served there. I got the big chicken with Taziki and garlic sauce(best sandwich I have EVER eaten), plus we got Nada Arabic Macaroni, the Falafel Sandwich, eggplant Masaka-ah, and the Penny-platter as well. “Rasa” served us and was fantastic. I love this place because they always make me feel like one of their family. Their mom should be very proud.

Kenneth K.

Yelp
I got the Beef Eddy and Nada's Arabic Mac for my girlfriend and I. Both the menu items were absolutely phenomenal and teeming with flavor. The people are very cordial. They walked me through the menu before I ordered and were fantastic. I don't leave reviews, but I felt obligated to leave one here. They more than earned their five stars.

Ray H.

Yelp
Fast Eddy's Quick Mideast is a total gem for anyone craving big, bold flavors. Their Beef Tikka is phenomenal--packed with dynamic spices and so tender it practically melts in your mouth. My wife tried the Mansour Street Tacos and declared them the best tacos she's ever eaten, hands down. Fast Eddy's knows how to spice things up and keep you coming back for more. The servers are incredibly helpful and friendly, adding to the welcoming vibe of the place. Plus, the prices are ridiculously inexpensive, making it a great spot for fantastic food without breaking the bank. If you're in the mood for something deliciously different, this place is a must-try.

Yelp
Ok. So, it's been a long time that I've been able to say that I am just simply blown away by this place! We came in on for lunch on a Saturday and it was crowded (always a good sign)!! This place is small and tables are limited however well worth the wait. Great vibes going on. There are 90s heavy metal, hard rock, and grunge posters and matching music playing (which my husband and I grew up with). We were immediately greeted by both owners/brothers and our waiter Justin who were all down to earth and attentive to their customers. We sat at the bar until a table was ready. They got our drink orders right away without missing a beat while we perused the menu. We chatted with a couple next to us who was also their first time--they shared their rave reviews of their meals (Big beef Eddy & vegan stew flight). Everything honestly sounded so good. Our waiter Justin recommended some items as well. But as with any Mediterranean or Middle Eastern restaurant that we go to for the first time, I prefer to order my usual, either a shwarma, kefta, or kabob to use as a comparison point. My husband ended up ordering the Big Beef Eddy with onion rings and I had the Beef kabob (more like a kefta but I knew that when I ordered) with rice, grilled veggies and Fattoush salad. ALL Delicious!!! Everything was perfectly seasoned, and meats were moist and juicy. Portions are generous. My husband and I both agree that this place is well-worth the 30 min drive to come back. Next time, we would love to try the stew flight and perhaps some of the Arsha's specialties. Ok, so maybe this will take a few visits. Tip: if you do typically order tzatziki, do try the garlic sauce with your order. At first I thought it was whipped feta with garlic but it is not! Delish! I bet it would be really good with fries too--just sayin'.

Becky J.

Yelp
The food is the best, service is better, and the ambiance feels like a neighborhood spot! The Big Eddy with chicken Shawarma was unbelievable! The juicy chicken and the warm pita bread have me dreaming about the next time I can order it! Highly recommend the Fattoush salad, the crispy bits and the vinegar dressing add flavor and texture. The steak tikka is so tender, the peppers, onions and rice made for the perfect lunch. We ordered the small size and it was super filling! If you enjoy Mediterranean food then you must give Fast Eddy's a try!

Renda H.

Yelp
Very very friendly staff! comfortable warm atmosphere, great menu and the food was delicious! I will definitely make a point to stop here again

Yelp
Fast Eddy's had amazing food and service! I won a gift card on IG and invited a friend to join me for lunch. We ordered so much food. Which was great because we had leftovers to take home;) We started with tabbouleh and fattoush. Both dishes were so fresh and delicious! Loved the tomato topper on the tabbouleh. And the fattoush was one of the best salads I've ever tried. Next, we had the falafel with tahini. Honestly, falafel has never been a favorite of mine. But I was digging Fast Eddy's! And you must try it with the tahini sauce! Then we had my favorite dish, beef kabob with whipped garlic spread and veggies. The beef was so tender and packed with flavor. My mouth is watering thinking about it! And I enjoyed the mushrooms too. You must try the whipped garlic spread. I dipped the beef in it. I tried the spicy chicken curry last, which was so yummy. Another super tasty dish with a little kick. I loved this spot so much, writing this review has me considering Fast Eddy's for dinner tonight lol. You will not be disappointed!

Jenny C.

Yelp
Wow! We started with the hummus appetizer and pita chips. I regret not packing the leftover in our to go container. We ordered the chicken shawarma pita sandwich with tzatziki and garlic sauce. Amazing and a generous serving. I could only eat half of it. My husband ordered the curry hi ken platter with white rice. He ordered the large and the portion size was insane! Very generous! It was delicious. Their French fries are great too. The server was a doll. Very attentive and friendly. Loved this place and will definitely return next time we are in the are. Thank you!!

Yelp
Finally the stars aligned and I was able to dip into Fast Eddy's for lunch. It was mid afternoon so finding a seat was easy. Ahhh a bar yes please the heart of the restaurant. My favorite place always. I was quickly greeted by Wilem ( name on receipt). He was fun and personable and grabbed my beverage. I have been stalking Fast Eddy's for a minute. Always thinking when I go there what I want and my mind changed with every post and every picture! After talking with Wilem and professing my love of Eggplant. I decided on the Nada Burger -fried with a side of Tabouli. The Tabouli arrived with a beautiful sprinkling of diced tomatoes on top. The flavor was amazing and so yummy. The kitchen area was busy and I enjoyed watching all the prep for evening dinner. Magically the "Nada Burger" was delivered. The bread was soft and held a generous slice of yummy perfectly fried eggplant. Within the sandwich was feta cheese, sumac onions, tomatoes and Babylonian Sauce. That sauce was the perfect accompaniment to the delicious "Nada Burger". Honestly, I never finish a meal and often leave with plastic and styrofoam. Today was a different day! Clean Plate Club for me. Thank you Fast Eddy's and staff. My day got better because of you!

Yelp
My coworker raved about this place and we all needed to go here for lunch, so we did. From the outside it doesn't look like much but inside, you immediately felt like family. Servers greeted you coming in and they were able to accommodate our group of 5 in the back near the register. Looking around you can see all kinds of rock band posters and photos (even some with the owner in it). I don't remember the gentleman's name that waited on us but he was very personable and welcomed us in. The folding menus were on the table so we grabbed them and decided what to eat. He started with me but I wasn't ready so I asked him to go the other way around the table. I finally decided on the Hammurabi Burrito (14" flour tortilla with garlic spread, pickles, sumac onions, Biryani rice, French fries, Amba sauce, Chicken) with a side of onion rings. Most of my coworkers got the Beef Eddy (steak in a pita with lettuce, tomato, pickle, onion, choice of sauce). My burrito was so big that I could only eat half of it. It's very filling and layered with flavor. It came cut in half which was appreciated. The onion rings were also massive and I ended taking them home too. The only thing that I wasn't too crazy about were the pickles. I felt like the burrito itself had enough saltiness to it already that the pickles overdid it. Other than that, it was good. Definitely grateful my coworker brought us here.

Michael S.

Yelp
Fast Eddy's is delicious and deserves your patronage! Not my first time but can't believe I haven't reviewed it yet. I always get the Big Eddy with Taziki and Garlic sauces (although that might change!). It's schwarma-ish; familiar middle eastern flavors, delicious chicken or beef and your choice of sauces. It has pickles on it too which is delicious and compliments the rest of it with a nice cut of acid. My partner got the Spicy Chicken Curry. Dang - this will be what I get next. It's a deep rich red curry, more like a stew. It's so warm, rich and flavorful. It's spicy but not really hot - it's near perfect. Got to add - we have had just epic service every time we're in. Everyone is friendly and accommodating- they ask and remember every one's names, and Justin in particular is great.

Kaneil S.

Yelp
Fast Eddy's is a solid option for lunch. After seeing some mouth watering pictures on Yelp I decided to give them a try. Now that I've been there a few times I recommend trying this place. I always get the Derby Fillies. Chicken, cheese, peppers, mushrooms and onions make a pretty good combination. The sandwich big so I only order it if I'm hungry. Service is always good. The owner is informative and accommodating. I always ask for my sandwich lightly seasoned and they always accommodate that request. Fast Eddy's is worth a try if you're in the area.

Miriam C.

Yelp
I had high hopes for this place based on all of the good reviews. However I didn't like the food I ordered, which made me sad. I ordered the egg rolls and they tasted kind of sweet and heavily seasoned. They were okay but not as good as everyone says. The chicken Eddy sandwich which is a wrap tasted sweet and heavily over seasoned. I didn't like the sauce on it at all. I've heard the customer service is amazing but I'm not sure as I did Uber eats. EDIT: I liked the egg rolls better the second day. I truly think I just had in my head what the food was going to taste like, and I was just wrong. My husband ate my leftover chicken eddy and said it was great. I just really didn't like whatever sauce they used. It ruined it for me. I changed my rating to 4 stars and I'll just chalk it up to that I don't like this type of food.

Mike B.

Yelp
After reading numerous glowing reviews about Fast Freddy's, we simply had to try it out for ourselves. The food was absolutely delicious and the owners were extremely friendly and helpful in explaining the various menu options. They even took the time to suggest some of their personal favorites! Needless to say, we thoroughly enjoyed our meal and are eagerly looking forward to going back and trying more items from their extensive selection.

Amber S.

Yelp
Most places that are great serve tasty food. A few have great service. Fast Eddy's has both. When you walk in, you're immediately greeted by one of the many amazing staff members (or sometimes the owners themselves). You are seated and then given a truly helpful rundown of the menu. I can confidently say that you can't possibly choose the wrong thing on the menu. It's all delicious. In my visits so far, I've had the lentil soup, sheikh mashi, spicy chicken curry, and the mixed grill. They were all delicious but I think my favorites were the kebab/tikka mixed grill and the sheikh mashi. Everything is impressively flavorful, even the fattoush salad. Especially the salad. When everyone looks away, you can find me licking the salad bowl. While rice is normally a backup, all of their rices here could be the stars of the show. And the chicken kebab? Whew! Now that's good stuff. The only thing I've had that was remotely off was slightly over-toasted pita, which was promptly replaced with new pita. I feel so great after leaving, both because of the food and the atmosphere. It feels like a place to come and be amongst family. If they don't know your name when you walk in, they know it before you leave. That means a lot to me, and I will absolutely keep coming back.

Jesika K.

Yelp
I don't know why it took us so long to come here but hot damn this place is legit! The staff is so fantastic and friendly and the food is craveble. We were planning future visits before we even got the bill. I was pleasantly surprised by the ambiance and that it's a sit down to order place so that was awesome. Get the garlic sauce, it's amazing. The beef tikka was so tender I didnt need the knife they provided and the spicy chicken curry melted in your mouth. The flavor on the fattoush salad is top notch. Go here already!

Vinny M.

Yelp
Ive been here multiple times and despite the very very few 1star reviews are disappointing that some ppl with zero taste buds are allowed to leave reviews, which does nothing but hurt the businesses! The service is 100% amazing and being such a tiny store the music they play and decor is perfect. These facebook groups should ban sole of these ppl from doing nothing but leave poor reviews just to leave poor reviews! Jacksonville has spoken and ther are 5 stars all the way

Ani K.

Yelp
Food is delicious, the service is friendly and fast and the fries are to die for! I go here atleast twice a month and we always get the shawarma roll with everything on it! It's big enough that it covers dinner and lunch the next day. Can't go wrong with it. Their fries though...are the best!

Scott E.

Yelp
What a great discovery next to our Winn Dixie! We were greeted and seated immediately by a staff member who explained the entire menu to us since it was our first time. We ordered the Big Chicken and Chicken Curry - two of their most popular items that incorporates the owner's family spices and 100-year old recipes. Both were delicious and made with love. The Amba and Tahini sauce were amazing. Raed, the owner, was a pleasure to talk to. Middle Eastern and American choices. We will be going back!

Zachary B.

Yelp
Fast Eddy's is more like *Excellent* Eddy's. I have been to many Mediterranean restaurants. Many of them left me nonplussed. I got food for the whole family, and we received great volume, variety, and quality for what we paid. I will add this to my list of favorite restaurants. I am not from Jacksonville, but stopped here while traveling. We will be sure to frequent this restaurant as often as we are in town. If you are not fond of Mediterranean, then give this place a try. If you are fond of Mediterranean, this place is must eat cuisine. The staff bent over backwards to ensure that we were pleased with our experience. Mission accomplished.

Ace L.

Yelp
Mannn that food was definitely firer .. had the steak sandwich man o man it was delicious and the salad was fresh . I will be back to try the stew heard was amazing as well . This place is definitely worth a try if you haven't

Rose H.

Yelp
Quick service, delicious food, great atmosphere. The servers were all extremely friendly and on top of checking in and making great recommendations. I went with a friend for lunch and ordered the fried eggplant sandwich with mixed vegetables- I didn't really need the bun, and ate the middle of the sandwich- it was so delicious I would get it again! The vegetables were fresh sautéed or grilled and everything was seasoned well! I tried my friend's French fry: I don't know how they do it but they were perfectly crisp without the grease! And, they were seasoned perfect. I will return!

Melissa T.

Yelp
Another 5 meal at Fast Eddy's. I've been craving falafel for 4 years, yes 4 years ! And now that I found Fast Eddy's it's all I want to order there. And it seems all my hubs wants is the Hammurabi burrito. Flavors are a magic carpet ride through The Middle East. I promise to switch up my order next time - maybe. Oh, and BTW they have the most amazing onion rings we've had anywhere. Just dip 'em in that hot creamy homemade sauce ( I can't remember the name of). Go quick to Fast Eddy's!

Jamie W.

Yelp
Yum, yum, yumminess greets you here! I have been wanting to try this spot for quite some time, but don't hit this side of town very often. Today was my lucky day. First thing you notice are the amazing smells wafting out of the restaurant the minute you open the door. Second you are greeted (today by China) in the most amazing way - like you are family they've been waiting on seeing all day. I was having a hard time deciding what to try, and China took the time to explain the menu, how it's laid out, explained some of the dishes I'm unfamiliar with, and then gave me time to peruse and decide. I went with the Beef Eddy w/onion rings. I chose garlic sauce & tzatziki sauce for my toppings. The onion rings, although not made in-house, seemed as if they are, as they were crunchy, perfect, and definitely tasty. The beef was cooked perfectly med-rare, and the pita nice and warm. I could only eat half, and that was pushing it! I was visited at the table several times to make sure all was well, and I can't wait to go back for more. China promises me their falafel is great (I'm a bit of a falafel snob - LOL). So maybe that's next on my list to try.

Dustin B.

Yelp
Incredibly nice staff, I was actually blown away. Ordered lunch to-go online for a meeting and after being in the restaurant for literally 1 minute, they were insanely nice, helpful, and thankful for ordering from them. Haven't even tried the food yet but I will be back simply because of how they treated me and others while there. Great job, staff!

Chris C.

Yelp
Went back for the first time in two years today. And the only thing that has changed is that the food and service and overall vibe is better than it was two years ago and it was outstanding then ( If that is possible). Brought a friend for his first visit and all he was rave about everything. The big thing above having great food, that he noticed is that the food reflects heart and love for what you serve, along with personality. Wish we lived closer to come by more often. Thank you.

Candice W.

Yelp
Hop on over to Fast Eddie's Quick Mideast and feast upon a symphony of great flavors and dishes. Walked in the establishment to a warm and sincere greeting from the staff. Help or guidance was offered with the menu and I was even offered a little tasting sample. In moments I had my bearings and was ready to order!! Hummus and pita chips- ultra smooth and incredibly creamy, this is no store bought hummus. Lovingly made in house and served with crunchy, fresh pita chips. A+ Booreg Beef egg rolls-- these babies are a must order item!! Had no idea what to expect but figured If it was Wrapped up in a fresh crispy egg roll it has to be good --- but I was blown away-- in fact we even had a little tiff break out at home because my boys argued over them!! A+ Arabic pasta dish-- it may look a bit less than appealing but your tummy will thank you!! Oh so savory and delicious and filling!! We ate off this for a couple days. A+ Not pictured-- is the Boorgle. Is this even a word? Well I don't know but if not, it is now because we discussed it by name for days and even went back for more takeout one day later!! A++ Spicy Chicken Curry-get you some!! It's not super spicy but it's a solid dish that will make you smile, warm you up and fill your belly!! A++ There are so many things we need to get back and try-- and we shall very soon. See you there!

Aricka D.

Yelp
I'm going to go back and give this place another shot based off the reviews alone. The people here are AMAZING!! So kind and full of energy & I appreciate good energy. The place is small but it's inviting. I got the shawarma and the presentation was beautiful but the flavor didn't match up. My pita was cold & possibly stale, the onions were huge and it was just meh. We got hummus for our table and it tasted kind of bitter. The fries were great! I love a good French fry & these passed the test for sure. I'm going to go back.... People this kind deserve a second chance. I will update when I do

Andrew H.

Yelp
I was craving a chicken finger sub and they did not have one on the menu. This is what they made up special. Chicken, bacon, provolone, lettuce, tomato and spicy ranch. Absolutely epic and appreciate their creativity. If you are craving one it is now called "The A.H." I cannot say enough good things about this place.

Jason M.

Yelp
Absolute perfection! Tasty middle eastern food. Owners & staff who absolutely care about their customers. Ambiance of a heavy metal strip mall restaurant. The food & the service will keep me coming back for more.

Sue H.

Yelp
Here from out of town. Based on the reviews we ordered online to go. Back to the hotel. Chicken curry and beef shawarma were amazing. Would definitely return

M E.

Yelp
Fantastic friendly service- they treat you like they have known you for years! Very knowledgeable and helpful about dietary restrictions. Classic home style flavors if you have middle eastern friends or family the food reminds me of my friends cooking! Cozy ambiance nice to sit and enjoy your meal. Will be back!

Ridge S.

Yelp
Amazing FLAVORS!! Yes I yelled that because the flavors scream at you. There is nowhere else with these flavor profiles. Today I started with tabouli which was so freshly perfect. The main dish was Spicy Chicken Curry with with rice. Absolutely phenomenal dish. The owners and staff provide excellent hospitality. Highly recommend it even if you don't know middle eastern food.

Derron A.

Yelp
Stopped by here in a whim. Spent a day in Jax to check on property in the St. John's area. Yelped this place and met the owner and a patron who were THE COOLEST people I've met in awhile. Definitely check this place out. The food was amazing but it was second to the atmosphere, imagine that.

Bret B.

Yelp
So. First of...free 2 starts because I had this delivered, and there's no the restuarant should be held liable for a drop in quality due the the delivery time (although Victoria was delightful on the phone exlaining my options). Second 3 more stars...because this food was better in a delivery than a couple of the competitors closer to home arewhen sitting in their restaurant. Got the beef shwarma with garlic sauce and tahini on the side. The beef was juicy. You need napkins handy juicy. And perfectly cooked. Not overcooked as often tends to be the case. It was also properly sliced to the right thickness. Some places seem to think they're making a cheese steak, and slice accordingly. This was just right. With the tangy tahini on the side, it was marvelous. Best I've had so far in Jacksonville. Got the falafel appetizer. Have to admit, I too am a bit of a snob. The color was quite dark, which had me a bit worried until a took a bite, and erased all worries. Great flavor and texture. Not too dry (ate the first one without tzatziki sauce). So good in fact I ate them so quickly I forgot to take a picture. The fries were great too. Still crisp even after the delivery time, and plentiful (had to eat some to see the food). Excellent flavor. The portion sizes are large. You could easily feed two with the single Big Eddy and the fries. Very pleasant experience.

Audrey A.

Yelp
Ohhhh yeeeahhh baby. Finally got to try this place out and it's what shwarma dreams are made of. Food was cooked to order and fresh. Vibe is chill and casual. Ordered the chicken tikka which was moist and well seasoned. Rice was fluffy, too. The beef shwarma was fantastic. Beef was flavorful, there's just enough tang and I really loved the pita. Service was great, I was greeted as soon as I walked in and helped immediately. I didn't get a chance to talk with the owner (I believe) but he was super helpful and friendly with a couple that was ordering. His personality and passion for what he does was evident in their conversation. Will definitely come back!

Kim F.

Yelp
This neighborhood restaurant is a jewel in Jacksonville's crown! It's family owned by 2 brothers who love family, friends and food; and when you walk in your greeted and you can tell they have never met a stranger, and they're happy to see you. Their food is a fantastic mix of Middle eastern dishes and all America sandwiches that have been handed down from their mom and they have perfected over the years. Everything I've eaten has been amazing! The staff are welcoming and super happy to help, I get my food to go but they always offer me a glass of water if I wait for more than a minute, and you can tell they're happy to work here. The brothers Wiam and Raed are always there and are so happy and welcoming. And I love the vibe here, the brothers are into heavy metal music and always rocking out but not so loud you want to bang your head on anything, and I love the band posters and decor, but mostly I love that they have a poster of Mother Love Bone, the band that started the grunge movement out in Seattle! Please go and enjoy this wonderful restaurant that we're so lucky to have in Jax! I only have 1 picture because I always forget to take one before I start to inhale this food!!! It's so delicious

Yelp
As always, you will never find a better Middle Eastern restaurant, than fast Eddy's!!!! I took a friend from high school here for dinner tonight because it was something she has never experienced. She trusted my judgment to select the meal. Like me, she loved the salad, falafel as always authentic as authentic can be!!! We both split our meals, she did like the Arabic macaroni more than she liked the beef kebab. Personally, I love it all I have never had anything bad here and the customer service between the brothers is beyond outstanding. It's amazing how every person that comes in they know by name and it's as if they were welcoming you into their home. True home cooking authentic to the culture and food for the soul.

Yelp
Outstanding great food. Amazing Mid-Eastern dishes. Many family recipes. Many other choices if Mid -Eastern is not your taste. Service second to none in NE Florida!! Good music with a rock vibe. The owners Raed and Wiam are simple the best!! If you are going on your lunch break they have a quick and inexpensive lunch special menu. Give it a try you will not be dissatisfied!!!

Yelp
This place is awesome. The staff is friendly and knows the their dish in depth to provide recommendations. I came in slightly hungry and ordered the Beef Tikka. My appetite opened up once the food came. The smaller plate was well portioned. I loved how the seasoning and charcoal flavor was imparted into the veggies and beef. The veggies were tender and the beef was just right. The rice mixed well with the veggies and beef. Everything was topped with sumac seasoning. I love how the flavors come together in the dish. The restaurant was busy and the staff handled it. The team lead and patrons praised the staff for the excellent food. The overall atmosphere and ambiance is positive all around. I will definitely be coming back to try another dish. A well deserved 6 star review.

Yelp
I really hate to give this place a 3 star review, but it's not based on anything about quality of food or service. The owner served us on a slow day. He was sooo nice and recommended several things to us since it was our first time at this place. All the food was hot and fresh and well prepared, but unfortunately both myself and my wife are not fans of curry. All the food had the same curry flavors inside of it besides the chips and hummus and the side salad which were both delicious. The other two items that were recommended were Booreg Beef egg rolls and the Shawarma. I've had a Shawarma overseas before so I was already familiar with the flavors but again it was heavily laden with a curry flavor, same as the Booreg Beef egg rolls. I just wish the flavors were mentioned in the menu but of course what chef discloses how he spices his food. I'm not a fan, but I'm glad he's got a huge following because the food was hot and fresh and properly prepared. Service was outstanding and he was so inviting and nice to us while we were there.

Yelp
The reviews for Fast Eddy's is the reason I decided to check this place out. Ordered a chicken wrap with tahini, tzatziki, and a side salad. The tahini was really good. The wrap definitely needed sauce or something extra. It was good, but it was $16. The side salad was a decent portion. Again, the reviews are really great so I will def check them out again.

Yelp
Fast Eddy's Quick Mideast in one word; great. There's a reason why this place has amazing reviews. The food here is top-notch. The environment is warm and welcoming. The owner's are interactive and want to make sure you have a great experience. The 90s band posters on the wall provide a sense of nostalgia, but the food is seriously the star. The Wicked Garden appetizer consisting of perfectly fried vegetables was an absolute success. Their dipping sauces, including their whipped garlic spread are amazing. Can we talk about falafel? Unlike a lot of local joints in town serving dry and bland falafel, Fast Eddy's KILLS the falafel game. The beef tikka was expertly cooked to perfection and juicy. A variety of the soups and stews I found to be a touch over seasoned, but that is a matter of personal preference as I'm pretty salt sensitive. Overall, I would go back time and time again to try more of the menu. Looking forward to more visits, and I strongly advocate if you're looking for some seriously good Mideast eats, that you check out Fast Eddy's Quick Mideast. Had the Beef Eddy today which was a delicious steak shawarma to die for!

Yelp
I don't even know where to start. This restaurant is amazing and the owner was so personable and engaging. From the time we entered to leaving, we were made to feel like family. The food was so flavorful and rich. We came late and were still cared for so well. Personally, we felt bad about staying until closing, but we got to talk a lot with the owner and he brought me out a sizable sample of the chicken stew. If you're wanting to try something different, I would get the magic carpet so you can try the range of different stews. You could also go with what you know. Hubby got the mixed plate of grilled meats and veggies. You'll be surprised at the love and seasoning that goes into the dish. Reminds me of when I cook at home. Definitely recommend and we will be going again. Get the mumba and garlic sauce and thank me later. Maybe ask for more than one lol It's different, but good. Kids eat free on Sundays!

Yelp
Fast Eddy's Quick Middle East is an absolute gem that deserves every bit of praise it receives. From the moment you take your first bite, you're greeted with clean, fresh flavors that simply burst in your mouth. The use of herbs and aromatics is nothing short of masterful, hitting your senses with every dish. What's truly remarkable is the variety and consistency of excellence--I've frequented this establishment numerous times, trying something new with each visit, and I have yet to be disappointed. Fast Eddy's is a testament to culinary innovation and dedication to quality, making it a must-visit destination for anyone craving an Middle Eastern culinary adventure

Yelp
Hands down the best restaurant to eat in the area!! The local owners are so personable and the food options are great, even if you don't like middle eastern food. The rock atmosphere is a nice unique touch as well. I was so excited to eat it, I forgot to take a picture first.

Yelp
Amazing service, excellent food and ambiance is top notch. It is easy to see why this place has a near perfect 5/5. Menu is large and options are varied. Enjoyed food so much that with the input of the owner I ordered take out for company dinner tonight.

Yelp
Down and Dirty: I have tried Fast Eddys and few times, both dine in and take out, food has been good every time. Service with a smile and super friendly. They make you feel at home and not like any other restaurants out there. Take out needs a little more quality check as they did mess up my order and I didn't check it till I got home but the food was still good. Service/Atmosphere: Best service anywhere. It's like Cheers "where everybody knows your name". Friendly, fast and welcoming. Very attentive and the whole staff work together as one to make it all work. Only thing I would recommend is quality check on the take out orders. Food: We have tried the chicken and beef tikka, the chicken eddy, the beef eddy, the philly, the curry, the hummus, kids tenders, mac and cheese, and fries. Everything is delicious! Plenty of food and made with fresh ingredients. Their sauces are home made and delicious too. Pricing: Fair pricing for delicious and plentiful amount of food. All in all, go here. Get you one of everything and thank me later!

Yelp
Good food and drinks with friendly servers! Family owns middle eastern foods with local beers on Taps. Owner offered free round for locals and first time customer like me visiting my family... small but cozy ambiance place to visit!

Yelp
Drove past this place many times, today we finally went in and it was amazing. The ambiance is fun, hard rock music and rock and roll posters on the wall. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Made us feel very welcome. My wife went with the spicy chicken curry and it tasted delicious! Great flavors and spice. I went with the Beef Eddy. Steak with veggies with garlic sauce. A lot of great tastes going on in the this pita wrap. Peppery with a good contrast in textures with cool, crunchy veggies. The onion rings were very good and very big. Both meals were very big and you're not leaving hungry. Highly recommended Fast Eddy's, we will be returning soon.
