Went for brunch and was pretty happy with it. The biscuits and gravy were pretty fantastic. Bloody mary was superb. I also got a pound of sliced brisket so I could try it out, and it was....mostly good. Brisket has great seasoning and the fat was rendered really well, but the brisket was a bit dry and a little tough to cut with a fork. Still really tasty though, and their BBQ sauce has a great berry flavor. All in all, it's the best BBQ I've had this side of Portland (Matt's BBQ is still the top for me in Oregon). Service is good and friendly too 😊 Definitely coming back to try more brunch items!

First time coming here service was amazing! We were warmly welcomed, i was surprised since they were very busy. Lonnie the owner made us feel welcomed and presented himself nicely. Their smoked wings are sooo goood and very hearty portion as well. I would recommend you try this even though they are a BBQ place. Brisket was great, im not big on bbq joints but will be back for there wings for sure saves me a drive to portland for a usual place i go to. They are busy so expect a moderate wait but so worth it! Give these guys a try they won't disappoint 👏

The dirty mac and cheese is next-level!!! Super creamy, cheesy, and just perfect with the smoky meat. The people there are super nice and friendly, and the portions don’t disappoint. Totally one of my go-to spots when I’m craving comfort food.

Been wanting to try this new spot that I saw on Instagram. It didn’t disappoint! The food and atmosphere were great! You’ll have to get the drinks, the cocktails are so good and well thought out. We tried the Midnight snack… bomb! Try it with a pickle back, Foxx recommended it. All the other staff we were very welcoming as well. We will be coming back.

Amazing food and service our waiter was very nice and the food as well as our drinks came out quickly. I definitely recommend the loaded tots and the sliced brisket (which is available Thur-Sun). Will be revisiting when in the area again!

It's been a while since I've had good BBQ west of Portland. This place delivered. Service was excellent, food and drinks were out quick despite it being a little busy. Really enjoyed the sliced brisket. We'll be back.

The new Fat Baby that had just opened yesterday (soft launch) brings a welcomed BBQ joint back into downtown. The cart that I used to go for BBQ had closed, so I was very happy to see this open. Since we came in the middle of Sunday, the food side was empty, but the axe side was bustling. So we got to order right away with the bartender at the time. Justin, who has FANTASTIC customer service, seriously. Felt very welcomed! Ordered the meal 4 two, with brisket, pulled pork, beans, and Mac & cheese. Along with chicken tenders and Cajun tots, 2 beers. Ended up around $70 with tip. Unfortunately the ran out of pork ribs or else I would have gotten that. The food was so filling, we still have a bunch for home and even lunch the next day (pending on your appetite). Everything was good! Some wishes is that I’d want the brisket a little fattier side for the texture, and the pulled pork with a little more pork flavor. The beans and Mac were great, but eat the Mac quick before the cheese cools downs and hardens. The tenders and tots were GOOD esp with the warm bbq sauce. Justin told us that everything is made in house, the pickles, the sauces, everything. The pitmaster smokes for 16-20 hours. I would 100% come again, a great date space mixed with the Axe throwing, lot of couples! I can imagine it be a great date spot on weekdays and weekends as more people hear about the food options. Also the cocktails and beer selection is fantastic! Come try them yourself!

Went today for brunch, beef brisket was buttery soft and tastes great! We got the brisket benny and the brisket slices. I mean come visit this place!

Food is relatively decent. But, finding the place with its teeny signage was less than great. The service sucked. He couldn't understand my husband or his friend. They have both lived in this country for 30 years. We went at 5pm tonight and they were out of sliced brisket. Mind you, they are closed until Wednesday each week. If they only have 5 items on the menu, it might be helpful if the waiter mentioned what they're out of when he gave menus. They were out of the one beer my husband ordered and getting a second beer proved to be impossible. The pulled pork on fries appetizer was good. Their shredded brisket already had their sauce mixed on which makes it too tangy for my tastes. Overall, we "might" return for takeout only. Get your supply figured out if you want return customers. I hoped this would be our bbq place here. Nope. Onward.
