Fairly good BBQ pulled pork and brisket. The tater tots loaded, we had with chopped brisket was delicious. The collard green weren't very good in my southern opinion, need some smoked ham hocks and a better natural salt, table salt sucks. It might help to have some apple cider vinegar or pepper vinegar on hand. The sweet was a pleaser for sure...I need to ask for lite ice next time.. The restaurant has a nice charm inside and comfortable. I found the staff, interacted with three of them to be warm, and willing to listen to verbal comments made during our visit. We hosted our employee holiday party there and it was a blast. The food was delicious and there was plenty with extra for everyone to take home. All servers were very accommodating and checked in on us frequently. The only feedback I’d have is the shelf area along the back wall is small when your doing food and drinks with a large group but we made it work. Thank you for a fun evening 😊

Not only is the axe throwing a ton of fun and a great date night or even family/group event! But the food and staff are also amazing! Ive not gotten a bad dish since going and my 16yo says these are her fave fries! Hubbie said the BBQ is on point comparing it to just as good as Busters. In fact i fear in writing this review well be competing for seating 😉 The staff are super helpful and friendly. Great customer service and attentive. It is a new family fave!

This was our first time trying this place, as we were in the mood for BBQ. I’m not sure if we caught them on an off day or if the glowing reviews simply haven’t experienced great BBQ, but overall the food was mediocre. The meat looked like it had been sitting for a while. The brisket was tough and lacked flavor, and the ribs were dry. The mac and cheese was especially disappointing. The only redeeming items were the greens and the coleslaw, which were decent. Unfortunately, I wouldn’t return or recommend this spot.

We had a great time axe throwing, which was a lot of fun! They have lots of projector games to choose from and the host was super friendly and knowledgeable. We then had some tacos and collard greens after, which were amazing!

Went for brunch and was pretty happy with it. The biscuits and gravy were pretty fantastic. Bloody mary was superb. I also got a pound of sliced brisket so I could try it out, and it was....mostly good. Brisket has great seasoning and the fat was rendered really well, but the brisket was a bit dry and a little tough to cut with a fork. Still really tasty though, and their BBQ sauce has a great berry flavor. All in all, it's the best BBQ I've had this side of Portland (Matt's BBQ is still the top for me in Oregon). Service is good and friendly too 😊 Definitely coming back to try more brunch items!

First time coming here service was amazing! We were warmly welcomed, i was surprised since they were very busy. Lonnie the owner made us feel welcomed and presented himself nicely. Their smoked wings are sooo goood and very hearty portion as well. I would recommend you try this even though they are a BBQ place. Brisket was great, im not big on bbq joints but will be back for there wings for sure saves me a drive to portland for a usual place i go to. They are busy so expect a moderate wait but so worth it! Give these guys a try they won't disappoint 👏

When I suggested to my wife that we go axe throwing for our date night she was skeptical at best. However when we arrived, the vibe was great, the axes were not too heavy (she actually rocked the 2 handed axe all night!) and we ended up having a lot of fun playing the different games projected on the wall. After our 1 hour session we sat and finished our drinks at the bar. We had intended on moving on to another spot for dinner but decided to stay and try the BBQ, which was an EXCELLENT decision. We got one of the big trays for 2 with brisket, pulled pork, collards, and cajun fries. Everything was super tasty and I highly recommend checking it out! All in all we had a great time hanging out there with the fun activity, great staff, drinks flowing, and scrumptious food! Thanks for making our date night a special one :)

Great prices, great flavors, great food, great drinks.... Sure, the service isn't the greatest, but the pros outweigh the cons. Also, Santa was there during our visit so the girls got to get pictures with him

Meh. Chopped brisket was cubed, unrendered fat, no bark or char, bland. Beer selection was meh. The sausage was horrible. Mushy - like it was all filler. It was bursting out of the casing. Extremely bland.

This spot was interesting to say the least. It has the potential to be so good and I imagine getting drinks and throwing axes would be 5/5. We walked in and were immediately greeted, we were seated and given menus. The spot is huge, it feels like a warehouse, decor is nice and I enjoyed the neon signs. The bar area and "play" area looked like fun too! Our waiter - only one that we saw the entire time - took our drink order and asked if we were ready to get food and we were. He came back twice to confirm what my mom wanted to drink then walked over with the can to show her what it was before he finally came back with our drinks. The food came out quickly and it was someone from the back who had been running everyone else's food. We were given no silverware and had to ask for it when the gentleman asked if we had what we needed. The shashuka was okay, the egg was cooked perfect, the greens were under cooked and they ask if you want bread or a tortilla. I got bread, it was a very plain soft piece of bread. Normally I feel like they give you something with more give to scoop the food up - sourdough or ciabatta. My mom's dish looked so disgusting, but it tasted absolutely amazing. Her plate, between the two of us was licked clean. We wanted to order something else since I wasn't eating my food and we wanted more drinks. We set all the food to the side and our empty cups and we could not for the life of us a get the attention of our waiter. He was bouncing around all the tables that were just coming in or had food come out but we couldn't get him. It was almost comical. My mom was tracking him trying to make eye contact and waving and he would help one table then put his head down and go the opposite direction. We ended up just walking back up to the front and then he came up and took our payment, apologizing for the slow service/wait.

Cozy little bbq spot in Hillsboro. Looks small from the outside but the building is deep! Has axe throwing area too. Service was fairly quick. Not much to report on their meats, I found them to be a little dry. Also wasn't a super big fan of their mac. The best thing we ordered were the cajun tots!

We decided to try this new BBQ place today. The service was excellent, but the ambiance was a little lacking. The vibe was nice if you are looking for a bar type atmosphere. There is an axe throwing area in the back so I think this is the sort of vibe they want. It just wasn't our preference. The food had some hits and some misses. We loved the chopped brisket. It was moist and flavorful. The pulled pork was dry and lacked flavor. The baked beans need a serious overhaul. They were not saucy and lacked flavor. Their menu selection is quite limited; brisket, pulled pork, pork ribs, and wings and today they were already out of the pork ribs at lunch time. I could see how some might want this atmosphere and come for the bar and axe throwing. We wouldn't mind eating here again, but won't make a trip to Hillsboro just to eat here.

Food was amazing and had a good atmosphere. Great place to catch a game or just hanging out with friends for a drink.

Came in on a Tuesday. Was greeted pretty poorly At 3:30. Was told everything wasn't ready because it's a Tuesday except smash burgers and pulled pork. Kinda confused if you're open probably should have everything ready. I guess call to make sure they actually got meat to sell. Drove pretty far to try this new spot.

Food is relatively decent. But, finding the place with its teeny signage was less than great. The service sucked. He couldn't understand my husband or his friend. They have both lived in this country for 30 years. We went at 5pm tonight and they were out of sliced brisket. Mind you, they are closed until Wednesday each week. If they only have 5 items on the menu, it might be helpful if the waiter mentioned what they're out of when he gave menus. They were out of the one beer my husband ordered and getting a second beer proved to be impossible. The pulled pork on fries appetizer was good. Their shredded brisket already had their sauce mixed on which makes it too tangy for my tastes. Overall, we "might" return for takeout only. Get your supply figured out if you want return customers. I hoped this would be our bbq place here. Nope. Onward.

Terrible customer service. Food is so dry and tasteless. The ambiance of the place is really nice so, what a waste.

Ambiance and Service were fantastic. Ordered BBQ Brisket Sandwich. NO BBQ sauce on non toasted bun, very little meat, mostly fat chunks. Meat was supposedly smoked, but no smoke scent or flavor.
