Fat Barbies - Smokehouse

First of let me start with the level of service that seemed like it would rival 5 star hotels. The friendliness of the staff really made me feel welcome. Although the food really needs improvement, I ordered the brisket and ribs which were both too dry and hard. I could not finish my meal as me and my guest only had a bite before giving up. I hope this restaurant can improve themselves and focus on the most important thing in a restaurant the FOOD.

The food was fantastic!!!!! The pork ribs croquette was the best yet I’ve tried in Barcelona!!! The meat filling inside was tender n juicy!!! The St Louis BBQ pork ribs was also delicious! The meat can easily take off from the bone that’s how u know the ribs are good!!

Nice atmosphere and the barbecue smell is about everywhere 😅. I had the 300gr ribs and they were exquisite! As a starter the melted cheese with tomato. Tip: the kimchi mayonnaise is really good! BBQ tomato drink was okay, but not as great as the food.

Ok so I miscalculated the number of nights I had left in Barcelona/Spain. It turns out I had an extra day/night but I had already eaten all the Spanish food I intended to eat. So off I went to Fat Barbies for dinner. The server was fun and attentive (we were the only/first guests at the early hour of 7:30pm). The mac & swiss (mac & cheese) was beyond amazing, the St Louis ribs where right on point, and the vegetables and coleslaw were perfect. The brisket however was disappointing. I’m pissed off with @southerngracediner for spoiling me with unbelievably delicious tender brisket week after week. Now I can’t eat anything less. I actually knew this would happen and I very much regret “testing” them. I should have ordered the beef ribs. They were probably perfect. I really wish I could give them five stars. They really do deserve it. The restaurant is fantastic.

A nice, deep smoke welcomes you as soon as you open the door. All the dishes were delicious, order the bombs! And the veggies, you won't be disappointed.

The restaurant was nice decorated, staffs are friendly and attentive, the burger was good but the meat was too chewy. I love the wine, very nice, you should try it.

I absolutely loved Fat Barbies! I am really shocked about the negative reviews, the food was so tasty, smoky and tender! I found the prices decent (For two people - 38 Euros for beef ribs with yummy potatoes and a pastrami sandwhich with coleslaw salad + drinks). Really love it and will come back with more friends. :)

Not bad at all, first we had the provolone with cherry tomatoes and chimichurri, they set the bar high with this. Their chimichurri is fantastic. We followed this with the skirt steak and pork ribs, with a side of wedges, potatoes and coleslaw. The pork ribs were spot on, very tasty. The beef, I wasn't a big fan. The wedges were great and the coleslaw lacked a little something extra. For dessert we had the dulce de leche lava cake. That was a hit in our books. Big fans. The service however was fantastic, the space was amazing. I would come back to try something else. The burgers did look delicious, and would like to try the panacotta too.
