The Best Restaurants in Tampa | Eater Miami

"It doesn’t get more farm-to-table than Fat Beet Farm, where diners can tour a working farm, enjoy lunch, and then shop for fresh items from the farm fridge to take home. Fat Beet Farm’s cafe is open for breakfast and lunch five days a week, serving quiches, sandwiches, salads, and a variety of freshly baked items. The farm fridge offers everything from heat-and-eat family meals for four to honey from the farm’s own bees, freshly ground coffee, and even dog treats." - Laine Doss

This is truly an amazing find. I lived in Tampa for 4 years and never knew about this place until recently. Met my friend for lunch here on a Sunday and the food exceeded my expectations. I got the Fat Beet hot chicken sandwich and blackberry lemonade for my main meal and grabbed some fresh cookies and sourdough croutons from the bakery to take home. There are lots of tables to sit at outside. You can tell everything is freshly made and it feels amazing to be able to purchase a variety of locally grown items. I will be telling all my friends about this place!

Google
What an amazing chicken sandwich! Had the perfect amount of mayo and it was the freshest brioche bun I ever had. Really great options for lunch and super cute outdoor seating. AND they made THEE BEST cinnamon roll EVER! Holy bejesus … delicious! Must try. Love this place and will absolutely be back!

Yummy yummy!! Stopped by Fat Beet Farm this morning and everything from the food to the drinks and desserts was absolutely delicious! The setup was organized, clean, and aesthetically pleasing — definitely a must-stop if you’re in the area. The only downside was the loud group of screaming kids outside, which made it hard to enjoy the peaceful atmosphere. Other than that, it was a great experience and I’d definitely come back!

We booked a tour and our tour guide was fantastic. She showed us all the things they had growing and showed us many things that are edible that you wouldn't think would be! They have a great thing going with their solar charged items and water irrigation system . We stopped and of course had lunch. We did the hot sandwiches and all the choices looked great. I had the Power Chicken Sandwichbwith their own grown microgreens and house made bread. DELICIOUS. They also have baked goods. I asked for the beet cupcake, but somehow looked away when he packed it up and instead got a blueberry corn muffin. It was still tasty. I haven't had a chance to try any of their ready made cold items but I will definitely have to.

Google
Perfect place for an al fresco brunch and to pick up a few fresh off the farm products. It’s basically a take out place with tables set up outside, no inside seating. You go in, order & pay, & take your tray of goodies outside on the covered deck to sit where you’d like. Lots of little cute photoworthy corners. Menu was varied with sweet & savory, high-endish breakfast & lunch menu. Everything looks fresh & delicious. They also have some quick-serve items in a fridge & some fresh produce. Everyone was nice & customer focused. Best quiche I’ve ever had! Cookies were good too. Kombucha not great, over priced. Overall, for the quality of what you are getting & if you appreciate what they’re going for here, it’s not a bad value. It terms of price alone, yes on the expensive side. Plenty of parking on a Sunday around noon with a relaxed vibe & good music. Will definitely return, if only for sweets & a farm animal tour.

We visited today for the storytime with animals, and it was DARLING. We had a great time exploring the shop and the barn. We were able to feed the goats and chickens! The only thing that was less than stellar was when we pulled in, the gates weren't open yet (we pulled up at 9:53 AM, event started at 10:00 AM). Because of the way people were pulled in, we were stuck out in the road, which was scary, especially with a little kid in the car. It was only for a couple of minutes, but it got my anxiety going! Overall, we'll be back for more events!

The best dining experience I’ve had in a while! The ordering system was great, and the atmosphere was inviting. The food tasted so organic. I highly recommend the lemonade 🍋. It has a natural honey sweetness and a hint of lavender, creating a delightful layered flavor.

Google
No idea we had a farm to table type of place here! We came for brunch around 11am on Sunday, and it was only slightly busy. Several other families there, with many young kids running about. We got the spicy fried chicken sandwich (with beet kimchi-very interesting!), and fried chicken biscuit & gravy. Both absolutely delicious, but will probably add a side of gravy next time, as the included gravy only barely coats the chicken- and my hubby likes it saucy. He also commented that he liked the biscuit better than maple street biscuit. Oh, and we got the bacon & spinach quiche for my young child, who ate it without putting up a fight- which is a huge win! Saw that they had a whole fridge of ready made food, and picked up a ton for meal prep this week. Looked delectable, but the jury is out til we try it this week. So thankful they had so many convenient and healthy options though!

Yelp
We've eaten here a lot since they've opened, and it's a favorite of our two DIL's. Decides to go for breakfast this morning... We all got some form of the biscuit sandwiches, and my wife got the chicken salad (doesn't eat bread). They are LARGE sandwiches and VERY filling. The sausage had some spice to it, but not enough to overwhelm. Mine was sausage, egg, and cheese. Really enjoyed it! Our only complaint is we wish there were some kind of indoor seating, especially since we're in Florida Even if the back porch were included it would make a HUGE difference and we'd maybe eat here more often. We do love how they're dog-friendly, though!

Yelp
I've been a regular at Fat Beet Farm for a while now, and every visit feels like a breath of fresh air. I really enjoy their Sunday mornings yoga in their rustic barn. After yoga, I always treat myself to a bite from the cafeteria, where the food is as fresh as it is satisfying. They also host various events at the barn. I took one of their beekeeping classes which was a great experience. Not only did we learn about bees and harvesting honey, but we also got to enjoy the honey with freshly made biscuits afterwards. One of the things I love most is exploring the farm grounds. Touring the property gives me a firsthand look at the sustainable practices in action--from rainwater collection to composting--and it's inspiring to see eco-friendly values in practice every day. Knowing that the farm is not just about great food but also about community education and environmental stewardship really resonates with me.

Yelp
This review is for one of their Soecial Events but I love everything about Fat Beet Farm. They partnered with the wonderful Chef & owner of The Tides Seafood Market in Safety Harbor for one of my favorite foodie evenings and the best one with my dad, Terry Devaney. When I told dad I wanted to do the Special Shrimp Boil with the proceeds to benefit Fat Beet Farm's educational programs for kids ands people with disabilities, he said heck yeah and even treated! We had an amazing time Fantastic food I could go on and on about as all 4 courses were delicious. Best Shrimp Boil I've ever had and the Bananas Foster Bread pudding with real whipped cream is something I'll try to duplicate. It was out of this world yummy. Thank you The Tides Seafood Market & Provisions, Chef and his amazing wife Mary Kate for an amazing meal. Our tablemates @ Table One rocked Best table and so much fun! The Bees Knees cocktail of the evening was delicious with strawberry puree, lemonade, vodka and mint. I had the best bartender add a bit more mint, some fresh squeezed lemon and a small splash prosecco for an even bigger #win. She is awesome And thank you to our gracious hosts Tim, Jen and Family for a proper and wonderful shrimp boil & for all you do for our Community www.fatbeetfarm.com Definitely stop in for brunch. Their homemade soups are great as is the Spicy Crispy Fried chicken sandwich. And they have so many awesome farm to table take homes like dressings, herbs, micro greens, salad mixes, soups, entrees and one of my personal favorites Dark Chocolate Coconut Granola Pro tip check out their website so you can sign up for a farm tour when it's available.

Yelp
I was so curious to check out Fat Beet Farm and very glad I did. The whole place was adorable but I primarily visited the restaurant area. I had a delicious sandwich and side of mac and cheese-- the portions are large enough that I definitely didn't need both, but since I don't live nearby and wanted to try them I went a little overboard. There were so many things in the shop and i on the menu that sounded great! The staff was friendly and the space lovely for sitting outside among the plants on a nice day (under shade!). The market aspect was another great touch with plants, baked goods, fresh items in the farm fridge, and more. It was a fun spot and I'll definitely be back next time I'm in the area.

Yelp
Love how peaceful and quaint the atmosphere is a Fat Beet Farm. Went for their Sunday morning Yoga and it was amazing. The yogi was gentle and friendly. We also stopped by the bakery/cafe after yoga to have breakfast and it was delicious. I ordered the egg & cheese biscuit and a carrot muffin. Both items were delicious. I will be going back soon.

Yelp
I came here after an 8 mile run/walk and this was the perfectly fresh refueling meal. I got the roasted turkey club on sourdough and I removed the bacon. The sandwich was so flavorful and satisfying. I could taste the roasted flavor on the turkey. I also got the butternut squash soup and the hibiscus berry kombucha. these items along made me want to instantly come back and try all of the other food items on the menu. I love the farm to table concept and it's a very, very relaxing and endearing energy inside. I also treated myself to a chocolate chip cookie, which had a very decadent and cakey texture. I finished the chocolate chip cookie much later on at the end of the day and it stayed just as good as when I tried it in the early afternoon. there were so many items here that I really wanted to try, but I just couldn't get it all done in one trip so I will definitely be back.

Yelp
Finally got a chance to visit Fat Beer Farm and everything lived up to the hype! We went on a rainy cold day so we did not explore too much of the farm but there are tours you can sign up for and other activities. Their bakery is a dream, everything looks amazing but we decided on the carrot muffin, chocolate mocha cookie, banana choco muffin and blueberry scone - all were very good! The highlight of the food though was their gumbo, chicken lemon basil sandwich and the chicken biscuit!! Everything was delicious and flavorful! They have tons of goods to take home as well. We got basil oil for our salads and soups and sourdough bread which is a huge steal. Saw someone walking out with 5 loaves! Definitely a cute spot and can't wait to sign up for activities for our kid when he's older!

Yelp
Always a delight! Fat Beet Farm makes all efforts to offer a great, fresh selection of goodies with many grab-n-go options. I picked-up granola, tuna salad, and more to eat in the coming days. The turkey sandwich and gumbo I ordered were ready in a reasonable amount of time. The patio seating is cooled off with fans. I'm a fan!

Yelp
I came here on a Sunday by myself around 11 AM. There are plenty of parking here. Family and pet friendly! Customer service is solid 5 stars. I ordered the chicken & biscuit with honey on the side. I also ordered a cold brew. The mac & cheese and rolls. Very cute spot for a date or weekend breakfast/ brunch. 5 stars on cleanliness & open space. They offer venue space rental for events. Weddings ( Barn theme) I personally think is so romantic! I would definitely come back and try other hot sandwiches. I really enjoyed the gravy so I definitely would recommend that.
google avatar

Brittany S.

Yelp
Had been wanting to try this for awhile & glad we did. Got the bacon, egg & cheese biscuit with a cold brew! Soooo yummy and fresh. You can really tell everything is produced there. Can't wait to tour it one day and check out more of the events they off!

Yelp
I made it out to Fat Beet Farm in mid-December 2024 for lunch. It's a beautiful little area, somehow managing to feel secluded despite being just off a busy highway between Town'n'Country and Oldsmar; the seating is all outdoors on the farm's porch. You order inside at a counter and they bring the food out to you. The service was fast and quite friendly. They have a large selection of premade salads and sandwiches, along with bakery goods, breads, and "take and bake" dishes to bring home. But I came for the "Cafe Menu," mostly breakfast/brunch items and hot sandwiches. I had the smoked beef French dip, which was terrific--the roast beef is good, to be sure, but the freshly baked bread was the star of the plate. The breakfast items look terrific, but trying them is for next visit!
google avatar

David W.

Yelp
This place is adorable! The food and coffee was all well made and fresh. They have some pre-made made food to purchase as well and a patio at the front and back of the building to relax. Will definitely be back to check out more about this local hidden gem.

Yelp
I have been hearing great things about Fat Beet Farm for a few weeks and I finally got the chance to try it this past weekend. If I could use one word to describe everything, it would be FRESH! I love the farm to table concept. I got the farmer's breakfast, that consists of two biscuits, sausage gravy, fried chicken, tomatoes, and micro greens. The chicken was so juicy and crispy. The biscuits were perfect! So buttery and melt in your mouth soft. I went on a Saturday morning and it was not too busy. The food came out very quickly and we were able to sit outside and enjoy our food. From the bakery, I grabbed a cinnamon roll and the blueberry pie and both were to die for! Highly recommend stopping by for a breakfast/brunch if you get a chance.

Yelp
Awesome concept: a farm that does farm-to-table A great place to meet up with family on a Sunday morning and let the kids run around. The food was fresh and great but...the fried chicken sandwich I had really needed some work. There were more than a few bites that were just batter and gristle, with no chicken underneath. The breast was also overly flat, like it was pounded down for eaiser frying. I prefer a much more plump and juicy breast. Members of my family didn't have the same issue as me though, so maybe my breast was just an outlier.
google avatar

Jessica S.

Yelp
So many fresh items! So healthy and such a great find! We got the spinach and artichoke rigatoni, a fried chicken sandwich, biscuit, lemonade and kombucha to eat there. We bought tuna salad and bbq chicken to take home. The tuna salad was the best I've ever had! It was so flavorful without that weird fishy smell! It was so so good. Even my picky toddler loved it. I would highly recommend this place!
google avatar

Lori D.

Yelp
We booked the walking farm tour and thoroughly enjoyed it! Kaitlin was a wonderful tour guide. It was interactive and so informative. We got to taste, smell, and touch herbs, vegetables and microplants. We fed the chickens and the goats. We learned about aquaponics and were able to view the bee hives. After the tour we enjoyed a delicious brunch with some fresh items from their farm. I would so recommend this location and especially the tour. You can also buy pre made food to take home. You can sit on the front patio and watch the kitchen prep. Everyone we came in contact with who worked there were very friendly and helpful. I even bought some honey to bring home!! We enjoyed the breakfast sandwich, the Mac n cheese and the chicken sandwich.

Yelp
Such a neat and unique place to eat as well as be educated on hydroponics It's a beautiful property with a barn, farm etc and there's all kinds of areas for seating and pictures! The employees are so sweet and kind explaining their concept and menu.
google avatar

Yelp
Food was fantastic. Regardless, customer service should be a priority as well and it was subpar for my friend and I. We were a party of 4 (two minors) and from the time we arrived until we left was a rude disregard to your customer. There is no one to greet you or direct you to go inside the bakery to order, when you enter there is no warm greeting with acknowledgement and no menu for the hot items (you have to know or look at your phone). Don't try to walk around to look at the barn or farm without a tour appointment. Won't return but the food was great.
google avatar

Yelp
First time and I can't wait to come back! Everything we ordered was delicious. The quiche was a perfect blend of eggs, spinach, bacon and the crust was perfection. The baked goods, where do I begin?! The Mochanut cookie, so good, the brownie, perfectly moist. The service is great and it has such a great family atmosphere

Yelp
Sunday lunch after church with the family. I had passed by the nearby Fat Beet Farm and decided to try it out. Easy to find, most parking is on a grass lot on the north side but also parking in the rear. Because the inside is basically order and/or pickup, there are covered patios in front and back plus tables on the front lawn. The most difficult part was getting all the orders together for four adults and two teens. We let several customers go by us while we occupied one of the two order kiosks. Finally the crew decided on two Cubans, two French Dips, Power Chicken, Butternut Squash soup, Bacon Spinach Quiche, Mac & Cheese, Chocolate Muffin and Blueberry Pie. Paid for order then picked up drinks, cutlery and napkins and sat at a large table. In a short time our meals came. As our usual practice, we shared our food. Cubans were good, French Dips were good, Mac & Cheese ok. Power Chicken was excellent. The Spinach Quiche was good but my wife's is better. Butternut Squash was excellent. The Chocolate Muffin was a flop, not even my wife, a Chocoholic, like it. But the Blueberry Pie was the favorite. Wonderful ambiance, great fresh choices and nice patio seating for nice weather. Wish we could have seen the Farm.

Yelp
I have been wanting to try this place for so long and finally got to last weekend. My husband and I came for breakfast. I ordered the bacon quiche and a cinnamon roll and he had the sausage egg and cheese biscuit. It was all delicious. The sausage, he said was so flavorful. I'm not a big sausage fan so I didn't try, but I did get a taste of the biscuit and it was so good! All of the baked goods looked amazing, we brought home an apple pie. The ordering process was clear and simple - order hot foods at the kiosk or register and baked goods at the counter. All of the market items are self serve in the fridge and center. They also have coffee but we were already sufficiently caffeinated for the day. We ate out on the patio behind the building which was peaceful and made us forget where we were for a bit. After eating we took a walk around the grounds which are beautifully cared for and organized. We decided we will send the kids next time they have a camp to learn all about how the farm works. So happy to finally check out this hidden gem! We will definitely be back to try more.

Great food with great staff. Very friendly and welcoming environment. You can taste the quality ingredients! Highly recommend!

Yelp
Don't sleep on Fat Beet Farm! Tucked away in a residential/business area this farm is hidden gem to say the least. We volunteered on a Saturday and couldn't resist going to the cafe and bakery. First, volunteering was amazing. Everyone was so kind and knowledgeable. 100% will do it again. Atmosphere: A stunning farm with lots to offer. The cafe and bakery has no indoor seating and is jammed packed with yummy goodness from quiches to a wide array of dessert and kombucha on tap. Food: Everything was delicious. The quiche was well seasoned with lots of gooey cheese. The tuna sandwich with microgreens was out of this worth. The black out muffin and cinnamon bun were exactly what I like, not too sweet and packed with flavor! Service: Everyone at the farm was great. Youre constantly greeted and provided with whatever information you are seeking. Seriously, go here now!
google avatar

Teri M.

Yelp
Farm fresh! Love this place, it's one of my go to's! I've tried a variety of menu options and they have all been so good! They offer volunteer options on the farm, which is so great for our community. Egg and cheese biscuit 10/10, crispy little soft at the same time biscuit. Yum! And the vegetarian Reuben that has a fresh sauerkraut, seriously, so good! Tuna salad sandwich from grab and go, another yum! I want to try more of their bakery offerings. They look delicious!
google avatar

Gina T.

Yelp
Great food and nice servers and cute farm. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because it is pretty expensive especially for lunch. Biscuits were amazing!
google avatar

Vicky F.

Yelp
Pretty cool spot as long as it's not too hot (patio seating only). Food was already prepared (quiche, salad, sandwiches, pastries) so we felt like while it's not bad food, it's a bit pricy for counter service and not made to order food.
google avatar

Tony B.

Yelp
This is a great place to make you feel like you stepped out to the countryside but in the city. The food was amazing will definitely will be back.
google avatar

Carmen Z.

Yelp
Great farm market! The staff are friendly and efficient. You order via a kiosk then pay at the register. You get a number on your receipt then find a place to sit. Staff bring the food out when it's ready. Outdoor seating with plenty of fans. The food was delicious! I had the Power chicken sandwich on GF bread and a GF cookie. Hubby had a meaty focaccia with a side salad and daughter had the mac and cheese and turkey club. All food was great, we will definitely be back!

Susan V.

Yelp
I get to go there when visiting family in Tampa and so wish there was one close to us. I've never had anything that was awesome and surpassed my expectations. I take a cooler and fill it up! The bakery, their own fresh grown produce, the grab and go meals that are all prepped are all awesome delicious and healthy!! It's also a farm with tours available!
google avatar

Fran S.

Yelp
Food is fantastic. The sourdough bread we took home did not last very long, it was gone in 2 days!
google avatar

Tina L.

Yelp
Family owned business & very clean! Excellent customer service. My chocolate chip cookie was so fresh & not too rich in flavor. It was just right & soft...yummy delicious. I saw a worker help a customer with a disability carry their order to the car...very sweet & humble.

Yelp
Stumbled upon this gem as I was driving home one day. Fat Beet Farm is a must visit in the Tampa bay area. From their amazing backstory, to their beautiful property, and delicious food there's something for everyone here. Upon arriving there's plenty of parking in the lot or over flow parking in the grass. It's green and beautiful on the property. Fat Beet Farm is a farm, kitchen, and bakery. Inside you can order anything from salads, sandwiches, quiche, baked goods, and a variety of soups. I've been a few times now and we've tried the french dip, the biscuits and chicken (only served on weekends), quiche, cinnamon roll, Greek Salad. Everything here is tasty. I'm always so tempted by the baked goods and they are known for having delicious banana bread. They also have a farm fridge full of take and bakes such as stuffed peppers, chicken, meatloaf, mashed potatoes and lots more. Don't skip past the beverage fridge with cold brews, juice, and kombucha. You can also purchase some swag and additional products in the store. Everyone that works here is so friendly and great customer services. Although you can't sit inside there's plenty of outside seating around. Shaded with fans as well. They are also dog friendly! YAY. They also do farm tours, yoga, and private events. So glad I found this place and can't wait to take more friends and family here.
google avatar

Charlie G.

Yelp
Stopped by Fat Beet to get some of their banana bread... as a friend said it was delicious. Also picked up a chocolate chip cook, and a bag of microgreens with edible flowers. Ate the cookie on the way home... and it is a bit sweeter than I like, and more of a shortbread type cookie, all crunch, no chewiness like I like in my chocolate chip cookies. When I got home, I took some of the banana bread over to neighbors... otherwise I would eat the whole thing. I did have a slice when I got back... and this too was much sweeter than I like. America has a huge sweet tooth, and businesses cater to that. One of the neighbors I took some too mentioned how sweet it was too... and he has sweet tooth. Probably won't buy baked goods there again. Made a huge salad out of the bag of greens and they were wonderful. very fresh and tasty. These I would buy again! I need to stop by there for lunch... their sandwiches look awesome!

Yelp
Loved it from the very start of this business! It's family oriented and they offer so much for all! Service with a smile, they always make you feel welcome & the food is fabulous! Check out there daily fresh baked and all the food is of the highest quality

Yelp
Food was really good here. They grow more than beets, including micro greens, lettuce, herbs, and radishes. The beets weren't in season, but they still offered a delicious beet and goat cheese salad. The basil dressing they added was so good, and we were told it came from their farm. The biscuit and macaroni (cavatappi) and cheese were delightful as well. You can sign up ahead of time for tours, but you can't just go randomly exploring since it is a working farm. They have yoga some mornings and offer space for events. I think there may have been an upcoming baby shower when we went, but I'm not sure. You can order in their market and then eat the food there on a covered patio or you can grab food to go. They have water, hot sauce, salt and pepper if you eat outside. Their kitchen had the biggest sourdough starter I've ever seen, and you can purchase breads like focaccia, regular sourdough, and others that are made with it. They also have pastries like cinnamon rolls, pies, and scones but it sounds like those aren't made with the starter. It was slightly more expensive than I expected, but the food tasted amazing, so I think it's worth it.

Yelp
My Mom lives on the east coast of Florida, and heard about this place through a "one tank wonders" show. Since I had never heard of it, I decided to stop by on a Friday for lunch. It looks to be a large parcel of land, with "field trip parking" on the right as you pull in, and regular parking just past that. I went into the store/market area, and was surprised by how small it was, because the building looks so large. In the shop they had a counter to order food at, as well as baked pastries, bread, and merchandise available for purchase. They also had a refrigerator of preprepared food like meatloaf and green beans, which looked divine, but I had more stops to make so I couldn't take it with me. What I did try was their spinach and bacon quiche which came with a side salad. I also could not resist trying their ready made oat milk lavender cold brew latte. After paying, I brought my tray to their covered porch, where they have about 8 tables, and a counter to eat at. The quiche was outstanding, and the salad was wonderful, since it consisted of various types of greens that they grow at the farm. I also bought a blueberry scone and an oatmeal cookie for the next day, and they were wonderful as well. I need to go back and take the tour they offer, so I can hear their whole story, but in the meantime, I look forward to trying other items on their menu.

Yelp
Needing a late lunch I brought my husband to the farm. How delightful it was to sit outside under the fans. Plenty of seating area to put your trash and recycle. I was happy. I had the squash soup and a biscuit said I still dream of today soft flaky, buttery flavorful didn't even need the honey and butter they gave me. My husband had a French dip sandwich, fantastic fresh bread baked at the farm with fresh made beef very good. We also need something for later so we got a fresh chicken sandwich with a dressing and micro greens on a fresh brioche bread. We also bought the blackout banana bread. As well as they are home baked brioche breads. This is a great place to come grab and go. Food is readily available in the refrigerators as well as fresh baked items Friendly staff reasonably priced for super quality product.

Yelp
We had their breakfast and it was so good, however it is very pricey for just a breakfast sandwich.

Yelp
The absolute best breakfast and brunch spot in Oldsmar, and probably the Bay Area! We love the farm, the property is so lovely, and the staff is always friendly and helpful. Love that you can order to go!

Yelp
Fat Beet Farm is our favorite "go to" for fresh bakery goods and easy Saturday brunch/lunch. Every trip to FBF leaves us with happy taste buds and full bellies. The ready made items in the refrigerator case will rescue you when you have last-minute dinner guests, company from out of town, or when you just don't feel like cooking. Our favorite ready to go meal is the pulled pork and the White cheddar mac & cheese. Be sure to leave room for a tasty pastry or cookie for dessert, and be sure to try their fresh micro greens and bright salad dressing vinaigrettes. Fat Beet quiche can't be beat! Treat yourself and buy the whole Bacon and spinach quiche, and impress your guests. It reheats beautifully in your convection oven and the buttery crust is perfection! I bet they wouldn't even mind if you pretend that you made it yourself, just be sure to hide that big giant bakery box.

Yelp
I love FAT BEET FARM! I'm so happy to have found such a wonderful place! I've been here so many times and have always had the best experience and the yummiest food. I love their salad dressings too!

Yelp
This is by far the best hidden gem in Tampa!! Everything i've tried here has been amazing and you really can't go wrong ordering anything. Some of my favorite menu items for lunch are the power chicken sandwich, butternut squash soup, carrot cake muffin, and the bahama blue pie. To top it off, they also have a variety of items in their farm fridge you can take home that could be a great dinner option. My favorite items from the fridge are the lilys chicken and the stuffed peppers. For a bonus, you can buy the basil oil and make the lilys chicken yourself as well. There is not one bad thing I can say about Fat Beet besides that I wish they were open longer hours and on Monday and Tuesday. I'm upset I didn't know about Fat Beet sooner. Highly recommend checking it out!!

Yelp
Everything was fresh and delicious. Service is a little strange. Have to pick own pre-made salads from cooler. Hot food menu is separate. Not a lot of service - pretty much on your own. But we would go back!

Yelp
Fat beer farm is a hidden gem over in oldsmar area. I came here for a yoga event they were partnering on to reveal their new event space which was beautiful and spacious. The farm itself offers guided tours of where you can see how they make all their veggies. The farm is pretty much organic but not certified organic. They make their own fertilizer too. It's pretty cool. They supply a lot of well known restaurants in the area with veggies like the edition! They have an on-site restaurant with delicious food. Their biscuits are a guilty pleasure.

Yelp
Came in today around 1ish and the place had a steady crowd. There is parking in the back and also grass parking in their overflow lot. Signage up directing you where to go. 2 Patios available for seating to eat there and it's first come. They have utensils and napkins available at specific locations on the patio as well as water. When we arrived we proceeded up the stairs and to the right to go place our order. Walked in and the place was a bit crowded and chaotic. Just crowds of people all throughout the facility with 2 registers available to place your order. They have hot food that you can eat there or they have refrigerators with prepared food that you can grab and heat at home. There were soo many people just everywhere in there that even the staff was like we are available for who ever is ready to place their order. We walked up and placed our order for 3 sandwiches with chips and a drink for each for a total of $45. I then went back in later to get a chocolate chip cookie, banana muffin and Mac and cheese to go. After placing the order we found a table on the patio and waited for our buzzer to go off to then go back inside to get the food. We ordered the turkey sandwich and pulled pork sandwich. I got a green tea with no sweetener and my daughter got a sweet black tea. Food was just ok, nothing to really rave about. The turkey sandwich was missing flavor like needing something salty. We added the mustard sauce that came with my hubs pulled pork sandwich and that made it soo much better. I actually enjoyed the pulled pork sandwich more than the turkey. The Mac and cheese was ok, not very saucy. The cookie was really good and they also have gluten free available as an option. The place is cute and the outside setup is nice. Easy entrance and exit. Just would recommend a cleaner process of ordering and pickup. Perhaps staff bringing the food to your table or having a separate pickup area. It's gets pretty chaotic inside.

Yelp
Definitely sign up for the tour, I think it's $20 and you have to register in advance. It's about 1 1/2 hours and super cool. Also a must is the Farmer's Reuben. The family who runs it is so friendly. And we lucked out that Tampa Posies were there selling flowers. Lucky to have this so close to us.

Yelp
Nice greens, breads, and to-go products but very expensive! I like the vegetarian Ruben a lot but am so surprised it doesn't come with any side item at all.

Yelp
This is our new favorite place for lunch! Amazing sandwiches on fresh baked bread and farm fresh salads. This place is farm to table so everything tastes super fresh! My favorites are the French dip sandwich and the farm salad with watermelon radishes. Favorite dessert is the cinnamon roll. Service is always friendly and food comes out quickly.
