Fat City

I haven’t been to Yard Bar since the renovations. But they have made some nice improvements, especially with a large roofed area over the tables. The change of food was an interesting idea and I think Fat City Stacks is a good replacement. It’s simple, the menu is small but it gets the job done. The burgers were better than the chicken in my opinion, and the Fat sauce is good too (not sure why you have to added to your burger instead of it just being on there to begin with.) Overall an enjoyable experience even if you don’t go into the dog park like us, but not a place that will blow your mind by any means.

I've followed this restaurant for quite sometime, wanting to try a burger and Fat City didn't disappoint. The burgers are small little morsels of flavor with every bite (maybe 3). Thin meat, onions pickle and delicious buns make for an awesome eating experience. It's obvious they use quality products because these burger are better than most. If you're looking for good food ina not so crowded side of town, with a nice atmosphere then give this place a try. Service is exceptional too.

A newer restaurant opened by the people who run Peached Tortilla, this fast food joint on the same concept as White Castle serves Stacks or small sized burgers, also has floats and some beers. Ordered the 3 stack combo and a chicken stack, the 3 stack came with a choice of fries or tater. The stack was excellent, great tasting. The chicken stack was okay, lacked the kick. But it's the place for beef stacks. Gobble some stacks up, reasonable pricing.

I definitely recommend this place, especially if you are at Yard Bar and want a bite to eat. Everything was hot and fresh. The tots were delicious. They don’t really need to be dipped, but they are top notch with the ranch. The fries are tasty with the sriracha ketchup. The smashburger sliders have crispy edges and are pretty cheesy. The chicken sliders were great, but the tender was pretty small, I had a lot of bun leftover (see pic). They could honestly cut the tenders in half and put each on one bun.

Cutest little cheeseburgers ever! Similar in size to White Castle but much better tasting in my opinion. The cheeseburgers are simple but have good flavor. The chicken sandwich is delicious I get Nashville hot nice and spicy. I alway order online and pick it up and it’s ready within 15 minutes. Conveniently located right outside the yard bar. The staff are friendly. Everything is small so I usually order 2-3 burgers. They come in boxes of 3 on the menu!

It’s situated near Yard Bar and it’s a nice dog park for the dogs. They get supervised by the dog ranger while you can enjoy a drink. If you get food, then you can come back to the dog park once you finish eating on the other patio side. They offer doggy meatballs for your pups so everyone can enjoy the meal!

Fat City is a good addition to Yard Bar, where people can enjoy food in an outdoor space that is adjacent to the Yard Bar dog park. In this space, dogs are on-leash since it is not a fenced in area- it's simply an outdoor space for people to dine at Fat City. You can bring your dog for a bite here then head into the dog park (but food is not allowed in the dog park). They have basic burger stand foods- beef/chicken burgers, potato sides, chicken tenders, floats, ice cream. Overall, an okay burger. I was a fan of the thin beef patties. Plenty of parking in their lot. Also a fine place to eat even if you do not have a dog of course.

They remind me of White Castle, but with a twist. Their signature Fat Sauce reminds me of Sriracha mayo and they have interesting sauces like Togarashi Ranch and Sriracha Ketchup. The sliders are pretty good. They're flat patties, so they have a crispy texture, but still flavorful. They chicken stack was pretty good too. It was served on Hawaiian rolls with Togarashi Ranch. It's a pretty dog friendly establishment and is attached to Yard Bar, a dog park bar. They have Cornhole, Giant Connect 4, and a few putt putt holes to kill time. It's a nice place to hang out.
