Fat Cow

We stopped here mid afternoon on a Friday for a late lunch, and the venue was really quiet, only a few people in the whole place. Very pleasant restaurant, and good service. We shared the double fish, which was plenty for 2 of us, and very good.

I went with a small group of friends on a week night. There were only 2 other tables. It took our food more than 40 minutes to come out and my fries were cold. We had to ask for refills and the appetizers came out with the main course. After reading all of the positive reviews, I’m not sure what happened that night. The burger itself was alright.

Got a delivery from the Fat Cow and I was glad I did! Can't comment on the building or service as I got a delivery order but the delivery driver was pretty good! The food itself was really good to! Mozzarella sticks were nice and crispy, the mini tacos were delicious and the burger I fit was almost perfect! No complaints, I'd give the fat cow a visit if I was in the area considering how good the food was on delivery! Video and Pictures are of the food I got!

First timer. Great burgers, fast service and good vibes. We got the BLT burger with ranch and the Gorgonzola burger.

Over priced and underwhelming menu. Service is horrific and I can understand why. We talked to our server who said the owners are lazy and pay next to nothing. They hire the cheapest they can and always complain. They can't keep employees because of this. Great location and I have no clue how they have stayed in business this long. Avoid at all costs.

Had a great time at The Fat Cow! Food was tasty & nice menu variety. Plenty of tables & room; the remodeling of this tavern is fantastic. Staff was great! Loved the tables in the tavern side made from the old bowling lanes out of the basement, just gorgeous! Live music occasionally- just check website first.

The burger was a perfect example of a marriage between a Sheboygan hardroll and Wisconsin cheddar plus Swiss is all about. The beef was juicy and not over or under cooked. Customer service was lovely and the atmosphere was so relaxing with all the natural lighting on the dining side. Clean restroom and the whole place was beautiful with natural wood in an Wisconsin style building. I'm glad my BFF took me here for dinner! I'm coming back to this place next time I'm in town. FYI. There is a full bar with pool table on the other side of the building.

15 of us walked into this restaurant on (06/28/2021) without reservation. We got in and found 2 young people, one at the bar and the other attending customers. These two "kids" acted better than most seasoned professionals would do. We helped them arrange the seats to accommodate our large group. The young lady who was attending other customers took our orders and kept up with our loud hungry and drunkard group. She made us laugh and laughed at our stupid jokes. The food was great but the young folks working at this place are a special breed. We are back at the office, still talking about the experience. Inside joke from our dinner outing: cumin! Well done. 5 stars! It helped that The Hawks won the game😀

Had the new ribeye sandwich on a hoagie with string style onion rings medium rare sautéed mushrooms and onions very very good Band was excellent My wife had a chicken ranch wrap she said it was excellent . So good food good service Highly recommend!!!!!

The food was awesome. Happy hour is great. Wing night got 2 dozen wings for under 10 bucks total

We had dinner here on 3/2/24. We have been to the Fat Cow many, many times and have always had a great meal. PLEASE take note that their food prices have skyrocketed!! I had chicken quesadillas and my husband had the Fat Cow Signature burger. Quesadillas use to be $8.99 and the burger $14.99. New menu prices...$14.99 for quesadillas and $20 for the burger! What the what??? In hindsight, we should have left but we truly believe in supporting small businesses. We understand raising price, however, $5?? How do they justify that?? Great food, nice atmospher, but we will not be dining there again. Furthermore, they need to update their website to include the new menu prices.

Went for the fish fry. They were out of the cod, so I tried the three piece perch. The pieces were so small that they added extra. The perch was crispy on one side and soggy on the other side. The onion strings were mostly breading--not much onion. Coleslaw was delicious with a little bit of horseradish! This was our first time ever, on Good Friday, so may give them another chance some day.

Came into the Fat Cow for the first time today and got that signature burger. Man oh man was that tasty! Incredible service from the pub staff and my food came out at a pretty quick rate! Really clean interior and I will definitely be back for more of what's on their delicious looking menu. Might be a little pricey to some folks but definitely worth it! Come check this place out y'all !

Ate here on a Sunday. Ordered a burger and onion rings. The onion rings were soggy and the burger was terrible. The waitress was nice and the beer was good. Those were the only redeeming qualities.

We (two ladies) ate at the bar for lunch...bad option. The incessant sexual banter and lewd comments directed at the female bartender was annoying AND distracted our conversation. We were hoping to catch up and enjoy our time together. Maybe a dress code would remedy this issue. We couldn't stand it and truly left early to get away from the banter. We probably won't return or recommend the place.

After waiting and waiting and waiting and waiting we first were told it would be 45 for food. Ok. 30 minutes later we are told it will now be an hour. Our waitress never even took our order. So Nope. Don't bother. I'd love to post a picture. Unfortunately we were never allowed to order.

Nine of us showed up hungry and tired after a long rainy day at the races and we were treated absolutely royally by the Fat Cow staff. They quickly got us drinks and appetizers while they set up a large table in a closed section for us, and then served us some truly amazing food. I tried my first cheese stuffed burger, which I regret agreeing to split with my mother because I wanted to eat the whole thing, and I ate way too many waffle fries because they were so delicious. Also highly recommend the fried cheese curds, pretzels, and totchos(definitely get those). When we return to Wisconsin we will definitely return here as well, absolutely wonderful food and hospitality.

Ordered wings for half price wings. They took forever and then when the server brought them to the table they were boneless, I didn't order boneless and didn't want boneless. And they weren't even good. Way better options for wings around.

The service was a bit slow, some of the menu items we wanted were not available, staffing was light, and our food wasn't the best. I do understand the new chef was still in training and the person who was to train him didn't show due to an emergency. I'd give them another chance, the German band in the back was very entertaining. (It was hard to hear because they had a music-station on the TVs in the bar area.)

It was ok. Nothing special. Service was a bit frazzled. Clean. It has the basics but won't wow you.

We've been here multiple times and it's always good, until this past Friday! It was EXCELLENT, cod fish fry was spot on and Terry the bartender is awesome! Can't wait to go back! Keep up the good work!

Great beer and appetizers! Sara Schroeder, the new manager is an asset to the place. Her customer service skills and hospitality experience are a welcome addition to The Fat Cow! She knows how to make an awesome old fashion!

We sat outside. The burgers were awesome. We had a mushroom Swiss and the other was to have cheese curds in the middle. Would recommend either. Waffle fries also good. They gave a live music but didn't stay for that. Great service. Waitress was very attentive and checked on us often.

My husband I and went there on a Friday night. It was not busy at all. We sat at a table. I ordered a hamburger and cheese curds. My husband ordered the cod, french fries and a cup of clam chowder. While we waited for our food, they decided to rearrange some tables that were pushed together for a large party. Instead of picking the tables up to move them, the staff DRAGGED them across the floor making this obnoxiously loud noise! The clam chowder came out first, and it was not warm and tasted like it came from a can. It didnt taste like clam chowder at all. GROSS! Cheese curds came out as app. they were really salty tasting but cooked ok. My burger was done ok and the fries were good. The cod was dry and the breading was flavored weird. It kinda tasted like onion ring batter. We had to ask to have our drinks refilled which is irritating. I will never go back!!

Went for apps and an old fashion. The apps came out cold. My old fashion was not muddled and was awful. Hopefully it will get better.

We're from out of town and stumbled across this place on a Sunday afternoon. Interesting menu, great food, generous portion sizes, and super friendly staff. (I recommend the loaded tater tots!) We will definitely come back if we're in the area again!

I was so excited to hear new owners had taken over. Sadly it has not improved. New Years eve was a complete fail. My wine was served in a plastic cup, I asked for a glass & the bartender told me it wasn't allowed. After begging he pulled 5 wine glasses out & all had lipstick in them!! They advertised to come hungry because snacks would be served. The only snack was a tiny bowl of pretzels & when it was empty there were no refills!! We were at a table but had to continue going to the bar for drinks. The new owner stayed at the end of the bar talking with friends the entire nite. By 11 p.m. there were less than 25 people! I live a minute walk & have no desire to ever go back. The few who had paid $50 for the prime rib & chicken dinner were disgusted. The meal was served an hour late, chicken was raw & beef was fatty & dried out. The only thing that looked good was the store bought cheesecake. Very sad to see a local businesse do so poorly!
