Celebrating a late birthday linner... heard so many amazing things about this place and saw on Check Please and DDD with Guy Fieri. We started with the Stracciatella and meatballs both were delicious 😋 Up next is the marmalade pizza 🍕 😋 excellent recommendation 👌 all the flavors paired perfectly! Definitely worth the drive and wait! Make reservations as we got right in!

We were visiting Flagstaff and wanted to have some local fare. This place really stood out. Our server, Issac, was fantastic. Knew the menu perfectly…made recommendations that we ended up loving…and was Johnny-on-the-spot even with several other busy tables. We had the margarita pizza and the Fat Olive pizza (‘cause why not, right?). Both were exceptional. You could taste the authentic italian in these pies. So good! This is a must if you like good pizza. 🍕

Google
Absolutely fabulous experience! The food is so fresh and well prepared, that atmosphere is cozy, and the service is top notch. We had salad, pasta, and desert. There was a tiny wait to be seated at the pizza bar. So much fun was had watching the staff prepare and bake the pizzas. The food was delicious and our server was exceptional. Will definitely stop in again when next in town.

Google
Make a reservation. The place gets packed. There is a parking lot to park so that's convenient. Went on a Friday night around 7pm and the wait for two people was 45 minutes (we got seated in 25). Note that the high top tables and bar seats are reservation only as well. So you can't even walk up and sit at a bar seat. Food was good. Got the Misses Piggy pizza and another pizza. Also got the rigatoni. Pizza was a bit floppy in middle and probably couldn't have been cooked a couple minutes longer. Rigatoni with ragu sauce and sausage was very good. Side Cesar was a good size for 2 people to share. I would come back. Apparently Guy Fieri from Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives came and ate here and featured this place on the show.

Fat Olives Restaurant Fat Olives is another of those restaurants made infamous by a visit by Guy Fieri. My wife ordered the Belgio Dolce Pizza (one of Guy’s top choices) and an ice tea. I ordered the Chicken Ensalada along with a House Made Italian Soda (Blackberry). The food was fantastic. The manager was very friendly and was very pleased with my post dinner review. The service left a little to be desired. But the waiter was new so I’ll give him a little slack. We had to ask for extra napkins twice and our drinks didn’t manage to be delivered to our table until we were about ½ way finished after we reminded the waiter that he hadn’t brought them to us.. (Waiters/waitresses were responsible for making and delivering the drinks at lunch time. We had tried to have dinner here the previous night but they didn’t take reservations and the wait was 1.5 hours if you wanted to at there. We called ahead at lunch time but could not reach a person. We were led to believe that no seating was available until after 8:00PM that night. We drove there just in case and found there was no waiting. I told the manager and he was shocked by our findings. He was going to look into and fix the problem right away. 10% discount is available to Vets, police, and first responders.

Google
My wife had the Belgio pizza which she loved and said it was one of the best pizzas ever. I ordered the special and after a wait was told they had sold out thirty minutes prior to my order although the special board was still up. They replaced the special with the lasagna. I found the lasagna, which was mostly mozzarella cheese unsatisfactory. I understand it was one of their best sellers but the cheese just took over the dish. I did not ask for a discount but Mike our server took it off the bill. The salad was excellent and I would go there again and try something different. As a side note Mike was great and deserves a perfect review and brought this rating from a 4.5 to a 5.

Google
This place is absolutely spectacular! I have a gluten sensitivity and was able to eat a pizza without having any digestion issues. The food is amazing, everything from their appetizers, salad, pasta, and pizza. I would recommend splitting something with whoever you go with so that you can try different things. Definitely get there early as they get very busy and there can be a long wait. The food is reasonably priced, at about $17 for a pizza or pasta meal.

Google
I wanted to love this place but we got pizza, and I like a thin crust that doesn't flop. Their crust is thin but it flops like crazy. It's wood fired pizza which is cool but it was too charred (black char) for us. Maybe we'd like it if the wood fired oven wasn't quite so hot. If you like a burnt char taste then it could be for you. Service was good...people seemed nice...and the atmosphere is awesome. Really cool looking pizza oven. They said they keep it between 800-900 degrees.

Yelp
One of the Best Pizza's you will find. We had one of the pizzas Guy Fieri had when he reviewed this place. Great touches like calabrian Chili oil and crushed pistachios make these pizza's stand out above other! Great wine list and reasonable prices! Great deserts, including Fresh stuffed Cannoli that had one of the lightest fluffiest fillings!!!!!! Parking is a little tight and be prepared to wait to be seated as there always seems to be a line!! We sat at the bar as there were just two of us and it was great as the waitress made sure we were well taken care of.....

Yelp
Awesome experience! Tasty food! The food is so good! We ordered pizza and the chicken parmigiana. They were both excellent. The pizza is very thin and you can fold it when you eat. It was freshly made and so good. Everyone loved their pizza that was in our party. The chicken parmigiana is awesome. The sauce is a white and red sauce combined. It's not acidic. It was so tasty! Everything is made In the brick oven. This pace is a certified Italian restaurant, Guy Fieri approved. I highly recommend this place to anyone wanting Italian. The old fashioned was also excellent. The r local red ale was yummy. I would return.

Yelp
Tried their award-winning Belgio Dolce Pizza--pretty good. The crust had a perfect balance of crunchy exterior and pillowy, soft center. The toppings were unique (crushed pistachios and Brussel sprouts), but overall it was an average gourmet pizza. Our food was served very quickly. Aside from that, the service was average. The place filled up quick on a Sunday. I went in about 10 minutes after they opened and was seated right away, but left just before noon and found people waiting outside.

Yelp
The pizza was so good! Our service was excellent and the bar area was cute and it smells so good throughout the whole place! Next time we're in flag we're definitely coming back.

Yelp
This was a cozy little spot to stop off for dinner on our way to Grand Canyon. It was a weeknight at 530p and already busy. Looks like there is a happy that ends at 5pm that is a decent deal. Ambience is busy, small, cozy, old fashioned style place. Service is a bit slow and inconsistent. Food is ok. Pizza was good, but also burnt. Grilled chicken on salad was pretty dry and overdone. See pics. It's a convenient stop, and maybe if you're here for happy hour, it'd be a better deal.
google avatar

Anabel H.

Yelp
Cute cozy place with delicious pizza and tasty drinks. We had the Margherita pizza 10/10 perfect crisp and flavor. You can't go wrong starting with a good Caesar salad and Stracciatella. They have great Happy Hour with food and beverage choices. Our server Liam was amazing!

Yelp
Yum! We were visiting Flagstaff and wanted something we could just pick up but that was filling on the day we got there. We went with Fat Olives! It was about an hour for the food after we placed the order, and this was on a Thursday night. When I went in to pick it up, it definitely looked busy inside! Service when picking up the food was lovely, very nice hostesses. For food, I ordered the fettuccine alfredo, which had chicken and mushrooms. So good! The chicken was grilled to perfection, and I loved it. The sauce was also spot on, sometimes alfredos can be very bland but this was seasoned very well. I can see why this place gets so busy! The portion sizes are generous and the price is pretty good. If we lived here, I would be coming way too often. If we are ever back in town, this will be on the list to visit again!

Yelp
This place rocks small town atmosphere with great family service and creative pizza. Glad timing worked for my trip from Cortez to Phoenix to find this gem of a pizzeria in Flagstaff

Yelp
This was the second time we've been here, the first being many years ago. It was just as good as we remembered! We got one of the pizzas featured on Diners, Drive ins, and Dives and it was Devine. The 10 hour Ragu with the meatballs was a nice touch! Even on a busy Friday night, we got seated quickly in the bar for two. It's a tight squeeze at some of the high tops but the service was quick so it made up for it. Highly recommend!

Yelp
On my recent visit to the Flagstaff area we found this place on Yelp and decided to check it out. There was a wait for a table when we arrived so we opted for seats at the bar. We ordered drinks from the bartender.. I had a peach sangria that was delicious & refreshing! We shared two pizzas the Carnivore which was delicious with its San Marzano tomatoes, pepperoni, fennel sausage, bacon & crumbled meatballs and the famous Belgio Dolce Pizza with the white base and finished with honey & crushed pistachios. They have a great menu, fast and friendly service .. I'm looking forward to a return visit. Check them out next time you're in flagstaff.

Yelp
Hands down sone of the best pizza I've ever had! My boyfriend and I came by for dinner while stopping in Flagstaff as the first night of our road trip home. And this was a fantastic way to start our trip. We were there in a Friday night about 6 and luckily were able to be seated in the bar area in about 20 minutes. The wait was worth it! The place was packed, but we managed to get ding off the best seats in the place by having a view of the brick oven and the guys assembling the pizzas. Brick oven style pizzas are my favorite and these were cooked perfectly. Plus, they had a great selection of pizzas with toppings that are fresh and delicious as well as some traditional.

Yelp
Definitely recommend stopping here for some amazing pizza! Initially we were hesitant since we had a ways to drive still and pizza can be a bit heavy however my husband convinced me after he saw that Guy from Diner Drive Ins and Dives had been here. We walked in and got seated right away however within 10 mins it started getting packed with more ppl! Service was quick and our server was super friendly! Within minutes we got our drinks, i highly recommend the cherry smasher mocktail! I appreciated that it was fairly priced given that many times now mocktails are priced so similarly to actual alcohol drinks! The mocktail was on the sweeter end but the tartness of the cherry and the carbonation made for an elevated cherry drink! We weren't sure what to get so we asked our server for recommendations and went with the Ms. Piggy Pizza! As you can see in the videos it's about 10-12" and there were about 8 slices. Between my husband and I, it was devoured! The Ms. Piggy is the perfect combination of pesto, a cheesy mozzarella & provolone. On top and around the center were the pieces of smoked bacon, and roasted onions which gave it a sweet flavor. The pizza crust was thin and crispy! Can't wait to go back and try other menu items!

Yelp
I am so glad we were told about Fat Olives when we were in town! Everything we had here was spectacular. I ordered the Parma & Arugula and I will be ordering this every-time now. I also normally do not like prosciutto but it was amazing on this pizza. Also if you are a chocolate lover, definitely get the chocolate mousse for dessert.
google avatar

Yelp
Everything was great! The food had lots of flavor! The salad was sweet and salty, the pizza was thin but good, and the bruschetta was great with the pistachios (something I've never had on bruschetta before). Overall a great dining experience with friendly staff, good food and a semi loud restaurant. Everyone was enjoying themselves.

Yelp
We came in for lunch with our kiddos and our fur baby. I loved their patio area, so cute. The service was great. Our server was very nice and checked in on us regularly. Now onto the food, we ordered the caprece, rigatoni, chicken Parmesan, and the margarita pizza from the regular menu, we ordered meatballs from the happy hour menu. Drinks, we got a peroni and house margarita from the happy hour menu. My son got a mock tail. The reason why I didn't give them 5 stars is a dirty water glass and the Caprece was not good. Everything else was good. Overall it was a great experience.

Yelp
First time's a charm with our order of Kenai Pizza with house-smoked salmon, ricotta, & mozzarella; also known as Guy Fieri's entrée. Such a cozy, quaint & romantic esthetic atmosphere with our seating that had a great view of the pizza stove oven. Kenai Pizza was served fast & still so warm to the touch that the cheese was trying to slide off, LOL. My boyfriend ordered Pomegranate Italian soda. He thought it had a bit too much cream. Wonderful staff that made us feel so welcomed, thanks so much to all the staff of Fat Olives!!

Yelp
This Cali girl was impressed! Ambience, service and of course food was AMAZING!!! Pizza and lasagne for 2 thick individuals-we shared and it was enough!

Yelp
Wow. This place delivers again and again and again. We had the lasagna, Caesar salad, olive appetizer and Berry Sangria. All were spectacular. Service was friendly and accurate. Only place with better lasagna is the Mona Lisa in Little Italy, San Diego--extremely high praise. They heat the mixed assortment of olives that transforms them. The lasagna is savory, gooey and simply delicious. The caesar salad was fresh, with nice back-note of anchovy. Only recommendation was salad could a slight bit more dressing--a wee bit dry. The sangria was tasty with a surprising strawberry finish. The wood fired pizza dominates the interior and gives a casual--welcoming vibe. It's a must try in Flag.

Yelp
You must try their pizza! Fat Olives has such a great crust and cheese on their pizza. We had the Adovada and really liked it. Although, we added the chili oil and I wish we would've thought to add honey too because it was spiiiicy. I wish we would've gotten two pizzas because the 'za was definitely the star of the show. The Alfredo was decent, but didn't have a ton of flavor in my opinion. We ended with the cheesecake which was really rich but tasty. You can't ever go wrong with cheesecake! I was surprised by how affordable everything was. We'll definitely be back during our next flagstaff trip.

Yelp
First time here and it didn't disappoint! Waiter was on it. He got us our drinks and appetizer real quick. Will be back soon I hope.

Yelp
Service was excellent and server, Grace, provided excellent recommendations and background on the restaurant and VPN certification. Ambiance was authentic, and the quality of ingredients/flavor was some of the best I have ever had in the USA. Me and my wife will definitely be coming back on our next trip to Flagstaff!

Yelp
We came to Fat Olives after a friend recommended this place for after our North Pole Experience and we're so glad we did. Although the wait was long, it was absolutely worth it. Our server was super attentive and always filled our glasses, and the restaurant itself is cozy in its own way. The decor was nice and comfortable. We ordered the Wood Fired Stracciatella and honestly I want to take a bath in that and die from dairy intolerance. It was seriously one of the best things I have ever eaten in my life. SO GOOD. We also ordered pizzas, everything was great. We will definitely be back again when we visit flagstaff in the future.

Yelp
WOW! I am full and very happy writing this review after dining here for dinner tonight. We arrived around 4:45 pm and were seated immediately -- this place filled up quickly though for a Wednesday night! I wanted to try this place because I knew it was featured on Guy Fieri's show. Our server let us know that most items are flown in from Italy and they are VPN certified (a special distinction for Versace Pizza Napoletana -- reserved for authentic Italian). To start, we ordered the Fat Olive salad -- fresh greens, goat cheese, cranberries, candied pecans with a house lemon vinaigrette. It was excellent and fresh! Nicely balanced, decent portion and a great start. For our entrees, we ordered the Belgio Dolce, the Carnivore and a pepperoni pizza for our daughter. The Carnivore was good -- loaded with lots of different meats with a red sauce. The Belgio Dolce was excellent -- something very unique and different. Looking at the ingredients, you may wonder why this pizza would taste remotely good but it all works well. I am not normally someone who opts for white pizzas but it was so tasty -- shaved brussel sprouts and pistachios surprisingly worked so well with the other ingredients. I would absolutely order this again. I normally don't order dessert but felt I had to since everything else was so amazing. We chose the Tiramisu -- wow! So creamy and balanced -- possibly one of the best I have ever tried. I am not normally a Tiramisu person but this house made dessert is something I'd order again when we visit again. Isela was our server and she was excellent -- very knowledgeable about the menu and offered the best recommendations. It's been a while since I have had truly excellent service (even though it got super busy -- great job balancing it all!) We look forward to visiting again!

Yelp
I always enjoy visiting Fat Olive's when I'm in Flagstaff! The staff, vibrant atmosphere and infectious vibe are always fun and a feast for the senses. Our reservations were promptly acknowledged and my wife and I were whisked to our table. Unfortunately the table was roughly the size of a postage stamp. The corner we were at behind the bar only added to the feeling of claustrophobia. I was shocked when my Caesar Salad was heaped with a topping of what was essentially crouton dust. It's ground into a gritty, sandy like texture here. I much prefer a traditional, crispy crouton. I'm not sure who thought this was a good culinary idea, but I hope I'm never served a salad like that again. It only made matters worse that the romaine greens were quite underdressed. The food here comes out way too fast. I was only 5 or 6 bites into my giant crumb covered salad when our main dishes came out. Given that we were sitting at such a tiny table it only made matters more cluttered, awkward and uncomfortable. Not how you want to feel on a nice evening out. I had the Rigatoni dish which is baked off with Italian sausage and melted cheeses. I appreciated that it was served bubbly hot, sadly though the pasta was overcooked way past al dente. Had an unfortunate mushy mouthfeel. We did enjoy the Crème Brûlée Cheesecake, however the name is somewhat of a misnomer. It's basically just a slice of a New York style cheesecake with a caramel drizzle. I think next time I'll just stick with one of their reliable and tasty pizzas.

Yelp
I ordered ahead of time via their website for pick up so i cannot attest to the ambiance. We arrived early and they were almost fished with our order. Which was great because The place was PACKED! We ordered 3 salads, one of every pasta and 5 pizzas. We were staying at an Airbnb across town and by the time the food arrived it was still warm and fresh. Not soggy or cold. Very fresh ingredients! I look forward to dining in next time.

Yelp
We took a mini one day trip up to Flagstaff from the Phx area and opted to eat here because there are so many rave reviews and because this place was featured on Diners, Drive Ins and Dives. Because many reviews say they can get busy and have long wait times we decided to eat an earlier dinner and went just before 5. We still ended up waiting for about 15 minutes for a table which isn't a big deal but as we sat outside waiting to be called to a table we saw so many people arriving, so its true that this place fills up and long wait times can be expected. We did order some of our food based on many reviews given on those items. To begin we ordered the wood fired stracciatella. It's a mix of cheeses served hot with crostini, evoo, honey balsamic reduction. The evoo and honey balsamic reduction are just a design on the plate and it's not much so keep that in mind if you were hoping for different flavor components for this dish. The cheese itself is very one note as far as flavor. I was comparing it to other hot cheese dips I have had at other restaurants and I was missing garlic and herb flavors to be honest. There was cracked black pepper sprinkling the top however. Some people reviewed this like it was the best thing they have ever eaten or they wanted to bathe in it, LOL. After trying it myself I wonder if these people who reviewed it that way have eaten out much because it definitely wasn't that good to be the best thing I have ever eaten or that I'd want to bathe in it LOL. I'd give it 2.5 stars out of 5. It was good and we all agreed on that but would we order it again, probably not. Dinner was Bolognese spaghetti (this was not ordered based on reviews, just what my son thought sounded good). The Miss piggy pizza and a side caesar salad for my daughter and I. The bolognese was good. Nothing that would knock your socks off or anything like that. For the cost I felt like the amount of protein was lacking. The portion was generous but again, the amount of meat in the bolognese sauce was lacking. The caesar salad was okay. We eat caesar everywhere we dine and this one didn't fall in our top 5. Instead of croutons, it was breadcrumbs instead which was different but I did miss flavorful croutons like most caesars have. The Miss piggy came highly recommended on many reviews and most people raved about it. It was creamy pesto, mozzarella and provolone blend, smoked bacon, mortadella, roasted onions and basil. It was really delicious! You can go wrong with those flavors. The crust on this pizza was chewy and light. The pizza could feed 2-3 people easily. We would order it again. My kids wanted tiramisu and a cannoli, which we had boxed to take to our hotel. Both were good. My son makes tiramisu at home and we all agreed his was better (I am not saying that because I am his mom either). I could have skipped dessert altogether but my kids have a major sweet tooth so dessert is a must for them. Some things to note, the speed of getting food and service was prompt. Everything came out fast! The server was on top of things as well. We were pleased by that. I did notice that they do need to pay better attention to cleanliness, however. One of the appetizer plates they gave us was dirty. Two of our three menus had hair (yuck!) in between the menu and the sleeve covering it and the drink menu had dried red sauce on it. That is never acceptable especially for the cost of eating here. I get this place is busy but all restaurants have slow times and that is when cleaning and spot checking should occur. When I worked in restaurants, menus were cleaned numerous times per shift by the hostess or front-end manager. The hairs inside the sleeve should be addressed right away. If the customer can see it then the employees can see it and should take care of it immediately. They do add a 4% charge to your bill, so be warned. We don't make it up to Flagstaff often so I don't think I would eat here the next time we come just because there are other places we want to try as well. This place is good and worth trying but its pricy and the food is just good not amazing in my opinion.

Yelp
any Italian food establishment that has grape vines around the entrance is a must try... this places lives up to it's local reputation as the best in flagstaff. This will be a pizza review only, but both the Margherita and pepperoni are mandatory orders when visiting. To sip, we got the house sangria which only enhanced the pizza bites. This place is very busy during peak hours, you just gotta get on the list and wait it out .. it will be worth it.

Yelp
Two years after being a little let down by my first visit, I decided I was ready to give Fat Olives another try. They scored big for Most Improved! My server was so nice and accommodating, food came out really quick after ordering, and the pizza was piping hot! I am so glad I asked about half and half pizzas, which are allowed to the extent the base is the same. I ordered half Di Fungi half Shrimp Fra Diavolo but with tomato base instead of pesto. I can't decide which I liked better, they were both fabulous. The Di Fungi, I almost ordered without onion, but SO glad I kept the onions on - they were wonderfully roasted and sweet. The Fra Diavolo was so unique - shrimp on pizza?! To err on the side of caution I got it without Calabrian chiles and with some chili oil on the side. The shrimp were a little sparse - one slice did not have any :( I'm still not a fan of the two high top tables in the center of the bar side of the restaurant and was glad to be seated along the wall this time. It made me not even mind the high top. The two in the center are just too close to each other for comfort. Pretty price at $50 after tip for one pizza, a non-alcoholic beer, and a market salad which was only greens that were pretty stemmy, + dressing. All in all I'll now consider this as an option on my future visits to Flag, based on the quality of the pizza and service.

Yelp
After moving in the girls @nauflagstaff this weekend, we wanted to have a special final lunch together. We decided on Fat Olives @fat_olives near downtown Flagstaff and campus on route 66. Luckily there was no wait for a Sunday lunch. Usually this place is packed. There is parking in front of the restaurant and also in a large side lot. Pizza is the specialty at this restaurant and it is a VPN Certified pizzeria by Verace Pizza Napoletana. They adhere to strict age old principles in the art of making true Neapolitan Pizza. They only use soft grain "00" flour, fresh yeast, water and sea salt for the dough and only imported San Marzano Plum Tomatoes, mozzarella de bufala, extra virgin olive oil and fresh basil. All of this is helpfully explained on the menu and by our wonderful server!! Everything we ordered was fantastic! We ordered: - Cherry Smash Mocktail - Amarena cherries, fresh lemon, basil, soda, served over ice - YUMMM - Wood Fired Stracciatella Antipasto - Housemade mozzarella, sweet cream, ricotta, sea salt. Served with house crostini, EVOO, honey balsamic reduction, cracked pepper, Prosciutto di Parma - Burrata Antipasto - Fresh mozzarella with a creamy center drizzled with a honey balsamic reduction, Prosciutto di Parma, basil chiffonade, house crostini, calabrian chili oil - Kenai Pizza - White base, ricotta, house-made mozzarella, pecorino romano, house-smoked salmon, dill cream, sea salt, EVOO, red onions (What @guyfieri ate!!) *Add Arugula (like a creamy lox bagel pizza) - Margherita D.O.C. - San Marzano tomato D.O.P, fior di latte mozzarella, parmigiano reggiano, fresh basil, EVOO (nice basil flavor!) - Carnivore -San Marzano tomato D.O.P., mozz provolone blend, hand cut pepperoni, fennel sausage, smoked bacon, crumbled meatballs (Simply Delicious - Yes, tried every pizza!!) - Fat Olives Signature Lasagna - Ten hour ragu, ricotta, mozz provolone blend, Grana Padano, basil chiffonade Hubs mentioned in the evening that he could really tell this restaurant used the finest ingredients because he had no heartburn or digestion pain after eating here. I noticed that I felt great as well, unlike how I usually feel after eating pizza. Seating is available at the bar, table seating in two rooms, and additional bar seating at the wood fire oven to watch the dough for pies being tossed.

Yelp
Thank you Yelp for a great fine, for the most part. 4.5 stars. Found this place for lunch while on a road trip. Excellent food. Pizza comes out hot and is delicious. Great lunch selection but their main menu is excellent. The staff were super friendly! Our host Teigend and our waiter Aaron are excellent. Attentive. And even went above and beyond to make sure my elderly parents were comfortable. Beautiful restaurant and clean private bathrooms. So why the slight knock? We sat at the pizza bar and got a great view of the open kitchen. Though the pizza chiefs and staff were excellent to the customers, I couldn't help but notice the tension and even the way the staff spoke to each other. I'm hoping it was just friendly chatter among coworkers. But no one seems to smile around each other as they staged the food. Perhaps I'm over thinking it. Still highly recommend. And will visit again if I'm in the area.

Yelp
We frequent flagstaff and this time we hit the jackpot with fire ovennpizza. Fat Olives did have a long wait but goven it was Saturday worth the wait.. The Adovada was not available, however, the famous "Belgio Dolce Pizza" was no let down. With a zing the spicy dipped artichokes gave it a quick kick that did not last nor spoil the flavor. The cheese was perfectly melted with the taste of lingering clay from their fire oven. Crust was perfectly complimented with crushed pistachios. The kids split a regular order of rigatoni plate which even had enough left overs for next day. The lady of the night had "Fetuccini Alfredo" topped woth savory grilled mushrooms bathed in olive oil. The prices were reasonable and the service was fast which made up for the wait line. All around highly recommend a must do when in Flagstaff. Best part kid friendly, waitress brought over crayons and pizza dough to entertain the kids. Huge plus! also with the ambiance of family style environment all were unaware of our loud kids due to evryone having a great time with delicious food.

Yelp
Fat Olives is a MUST when you're in Flagstaff. We've come here the past 3 times we've been in Flag and they hit the spot every time. Whatever the wait for a table is, we wait. The food is incredibly delicious and fresh. I always get the pizza, it's definitely some of the best I've had, the pasta is great too but the pizza takes the cake. Additionally, the food is very quick to come to the table, which is phenomenal! Service is quick, very friendly and helpful. I'd highly recommend Fat Olives to anyone for some delicious Italian food. I'd also like to note the authentic feel of the restaurant itself, being able to see the kitchen from your table and watch the pizza being cooked and made, with the brick oven right there.

Yelp
I came here for a quick sit down with a friend. We arrived and it was SUPER crowded, this place has definitely built up a loyal clientele, and rightfully so. All we had to eat was the Belgio Dolce Pizza, and wow it was great. The flavors go so well together, I wish we tried other dishes but it was a quick stop. Service was good, food was good, no complaints!

Yelp
The hosts would not put me into there list I kept going in and each time they disregarded me don't go up to the hosts if you go book on OpenTable but the food is usually good just the hostess is horrific

Yelp
Got the vegan cheese! The pizza was amazing and the service was above and beyond! Make sure to get your reservation early! It took 1hr and 30mins but it was so worth it. Dish: The crust was thin but soft and fluffy (if that makes sense). The pork tenderloin was super tender, juicy, well seasoned and definitely was spicy! Ambiance: I love the paintings around the place and the vibe was really fun and sociable! The bar being a part of the place definitely helps with laughter going around!

Yelp
My girlfriend found this place while we were on a road trip, and wow the pizza here is fantastic. We decided to try the Kenai Pizza because neither of us had ever had salmon on a pizza before. To our surprise, it was actually very good. The blend of ricotta, romano, and mozzarella cheeses complimented the salmon perfectly. The Italian sodas are also very good. I tried the pomegranate one. It was good but did have a little too much cream for my liking though. The staff was terrific with good service and the inside was nicely decorated and felt very Tuscan. I recommend stopping here if you're looking for a great pizza spot in Flagstaff, AZ.

Yelp
Fat Olive's was excellent, and worth the wait (about 15 minutes for a party of 4). The servers were all very friendly and attentive. We sat outside, which was nice. The patio area is largely covered. The food was delicious! The Margarita Pizza was a good size for one person, so you probably wouldn't want to split it unless you had more food. The other dishes we had included the lasagna, which was good, and the flourless chocolate cake, another winner.

Yelp
TL;DR: Get to Fat Olives as soon as you can. It's top tier pizza without any pretentious vibes, you can't make a bad choice with their menu and there are plenty of Gluten Free options! I have been to Flagstaff my fair share of times and the fact that this was my first trip to Fat Olives is downright criminal. My group started with the Burrata which was to die for and for just $4 you can get a gluten free bread option (it's just their GF pizza crust plain with spices, but it's delicious). Next to the pizza, they are serious about pizza. They have pies certified by the Italian government because they import the ingredients from Italy and cook everything in an Italian pizza oven. We went with the Belgio Dolce which was a selection by Guy Fieri when he visited. It is hard to explain how good this pizza is adorned with brussel sprouts and pistachios amongst a slew of other toppings this may sound a bit strange, but everything went so perfectly together! Pictured below is their regular crust version and the GF version. For dessert we finished with their gluten free flourless chocolate cake which was thick, decadent, and delicious. It was hearty but not too rich as some flourless chocolate cakes can be. We left full and happy, the service was great, the atmosphere was quaint and lovely, you can't go wrong with a pie from Fat Olives if you're in Flagstaff.

Yelp
Spoiler: you really should stop here while in Flagstaff! Their food is amazing! Let's start at the beginning...with a name like Fat Olive they had a lot to live up to and they delivered! The wait was 30 min, which wasn't too bad and an indication that a their Yelp status was "on the money". Our waiter's name was Matthew and he was awesome! He gave us some recommendations and we decided to split the Olive Pizza and Chicken Parm. Man! Both were delicious in their own right. I didn't have room to finish it all but couldn't help myself squeezing it all in since it was soooo goood. Props to Fat Olive for staffing their establishment so well from the hostess, waiter, the kitchen to the manager (who greeted us at the end verifying we were satisfied). Front-to-back, beginning-to-end, the experience was stellar! We will be back to vote with our dollars!

Yelp
We heard this place was the best pizza in town as we were passing through, and it didn't disappoint. We shared a salad and pizza and were very happy with the quality. It was 4:00 on a Saturday afternoon and packed.

Yelp
Got three pizzas to go. Maragarita, the Belgio Dolce, and bbq chicken! Top favorites were the margarita and belgio. You just can't go wrong with a classic margarita and the belgio was so unique you just have to try it.

Yelp
We ended up coming in for lunch, there was no wait. We had very great and fast service. We got a pizza and a kids butter noodle. Both were great. I got the Italian margarita. It was good and STRONG! If you aren't an alcohol drinker I would skip this. If you like amaretto, get it!

Yelp
This is such a cute place! I ate on the patio during a nice day. The staff are knowledgeable about the menu. I would STRONGLY suggest to get the pizza over pasta if you come here. Pizza is their specialty first and foremost, the pasta just doesn't compare.

Yelp
Hands down best gluten free pizza in the state! Wow. Service was soooo good. And the artichoke appetizer? Phenomenal. Can't wait to visit again!

Yelp
Finally had an opportunity to check out Fat Olives for an early Saturday dinner. Diners beware: the happy hour is POPULAR, we had to wait about 20 min for a table at 4:30pm. The restaurant is large with amble booth, low-top, and bar seating. I joined a group of 6 and had no issues with the booth seating. Two pizzas of note: the Belgio Dolce and the Farmers (with added egg!). The Belgio Dolce pizza's claim to fame is that it is both award winning, and the icon Guy Fieri gave it a try. The honey drizzle was a standout and the meat selection paired nicely. The brussel sprouts were enjoyed by all- even by folks who typically avoid them! The Farmer pizza is a vegetarians dream with great toppings and an unexpected sweetness. Adding a cracked egg was the perfect addition. All pizzas enjoyed by the table had stand-out crusts- seriously so good! I look forward to coming here again both for the great menu and exceptional service.
