Fat Rabbit Social House replaced one of my favorite brunch spots in Austin – Forthright Cafe. As such fat rabbit had some big shoes to fill, and not only did it fill them, but it exceeded my expectations! Service was quick and efficient, staff was very friendly, and food was delicious! The entire menu looked so good, it was very hard to choose what to order. I ended up getting the truffled deviled eggs and the truffle goat cheese and bacon sandwich. Both very delicious and would get again! For my gluten-free folks, there are a few items marked as gluten-free on the menu, but they also have gluten-free bread which they can replace for anything that comes with bread and they also have gluten-free waffles (which I will need to try next time). I can’t wait to come back and try other menu items!

It was bad!! Nothing seemed fresh In ordered a Bloody Mary to start and that was the highlight of the meal! For food, we did: 1. Truffles Deviled Eggs: they weren’t fresh and they looked so sad. Additionally, they had too much of a lemony flavor and that is coming from a person who loves lemons! 2. Truffle Sandwich: the description sounded way better than the actual sandwich. It had zero taste. 3. Chicken and waffles: BAD!! There were two types of fried chicken as you can see in the pic, the non-crispy one tasted cold. The waffles weren’t crispy.

What an amazing new brunch spot! The decor is lovely and homey like you’re pulling up a chair in a friends kitchen. The owner could not have been more friendly and accommodating. Tried several dishes and while all were tasty, the real stand outs were the goat cheese balls and truffle bacon and egg sandwich. YUMMY! We will definitely be returning again and again.

This place exudes fun vibes and offers great food and drinks! We had brunch there and really enjoyed it. The pork pastor was so tasty and offered all the protein I wanted and needed! Equal parts locals and visitors made for a lively scene. Perfect place to hit if you are coming in off the hike and bike trail. There is also off street parking and two parking garages nearby. Highly recommend!

Absolutely loved this new brunch spot! The atmosphere is incredible—warm, creative, and full of those thoughtful little touches that make it stand out. The ownership clearly cares about every detail, from the service to the presentation. The cocktails were outstanding, beautifully balanced, and even came with adorable rabbit-shaped garnishes that made the experience extra special. And the goat cheese balls?….Out of this world…crispy on the outside, creamy on the inside, and absolutely addictive. This place is a must-try for brunch lovers, and I’ll definitely be back soon!

This is such a cute spot! We are in town for ACL and met some friends here. The atmosphere, from the playlist to the decor, immediately let me know I was going to love this experience. The service was fast and friendly and the food was absolutely INCREDIBLE! I had the goat cheese, egg and bacon sandwich on PERFECT sourdough bread. My wife had the French toast and it was delicious served with some fresh fruit. But the biscuits really stole the show. We had the biscuit basket and one of our friends had the biscuits and gravy. Truly the BEST biscuit I’ve ever had. We had such an amazing experience!! Will absolutely be back!

What a cute spot! Parking was wonderfully easy - they validate parking for the garage under the restaurant with a QR code on your receipt when you order, or you can park in front or on the street. My acai bowl was tasty, and the waiter was so careful to make sure he was certain about which items were gluten free and celiac safe. We got a 10 person table reserved for my friend's bday and it was so lovely!

I had brunch here while visiting Austin. Loved the restaurant's aesthetic and food/ drinks were delicious. This restaurant offers both indoor and outdoor dining. Looks bright and very clean. Staff was very welcoming and pets are allowed. Menu offered Breakfast and lunch options. I highly recommend starting with fried goat cheese balls 10/10. So delicious!! It's goat cheese has the pleasant aroma of lavender not overwhelming and although balls are fried its not greasy. My favorite part was that it comes in a honey and cracked pepper sauce 😋. I need to learn how to make these at home. Next I tried the truffles goat cheese bacon and egg sandwich. Very good and large portion. I opted for breakfast potatoes but honestly think it tastes better with the fries. Service was quick, we made last minute reservations and didn't have to wait at all. Great location and highly recommend for a simple,modern and delicious brunch.

Open for breakfast and lunch. They do have a parking garage below them it's $7 for every 30 min and a small parking lot right out front. They have a nice shaded patio and indoor seating Hot or iced coffee drinks. I got an iced mocha and it was bland Starbucks makes a better one Portions on the food was decent for the price. The açaí bowl was nice and sweet. We ordered it as an appetizer but it came out with our food and worked perfectly for a dessert, the potato's with the bendedict was the right amount of salt and crunch, the brunch burrito had a protein option and pretty filling, the crab citrus salad was nice, light, and refreshing but could use some cheese. Overall I would come back if I could park in their lot and not the garage.

This place has a very cute cozy vibe with good brunch options and adorable bunny decor. The waitstaff was nice though I felt our waiter was preoccupied and was wearing a sweatshirt that looked dirty. I had a very delicious perfectly mixed matcha latte followed by the chicken and waffles. I felt the chicken could use more seasoning. My friend had the American breakfast and really liked their bacon. I tried the potatoes and they were seasoned very well though I prefer them to be crispy. Overall it was just ok. Good spot and pretty affordable but I didn't any wow factor.

Tucked away on the first floor of an office building is a new brunch spot. They do have parking out front and plenty of seating. It was pretty empty when we came on a weekend so we were seated quickly. Service was kind of a miss as it took a long time to get noticed. It wasn't until the front hostess had to flag someone down for us. We ordered the American breakfast with fried chicken and the chicken and waffles. The American breakfast was pretty standard, but the potatoes were bland. Could definitely use any kind of seasoning! The chicken and waffles were nothing extraordinary. The chicken was crispy, but dry, and the portion was pretty small compared to your size of the waffle.

Stopped in for a bite and beverage, visiting from Denver for some golf and music. This is a go-to spot for delicious food and cocktails. Warm goat cheese bites are delicious and the burger- yummm! Rachel took great care of us and the ambiance was fun and inviting.

The chicken and waffles are goooddd. Especially the chicken. I like how they added glazed pecans to the waffles it created a really nice crunchy. The butter and syrup also pairs great with the waffles. We waited about 30 minutes on a Saturday around 11:30PM, it was pretty busy. But there's nice parks to walk around and see nearby

Love this spot! Great food, cocktails, killer playlist. Inside and outdoor seating. Everyone has been so wonderful and attentive! Try the tomato soup. So good!

Service was terrible. We sat without acknowledgment or water until we asked for it, then the server was so rude. When I asked if they had a wine list, he said "no" without making eye contact. After he took orders he asked the bartender to tell me what wine they had but then walked away without actually taking my order. Also- the only sparkling wine they have is Wycliffe which is embarrassing for a restaurant. They're also making many cocktails with it - Aperol spritz, French 75, etc.
