Fat Rabbit Social House replaced one of my favorite brunch spots in Austin – Forthright Cafe. As such fat rabbit had some big shoes to fill, and not only did it fill them, but it exceeded my expectations! Service was quick and efficient, staff was very friendly, and food was delicious! The entire menu looked so good, it was very hard to choose what to order. I ended up getting the truffled deviled eggs and the truffle goat cheese and bacon sandwich. Both very delicious and would get again! For my gluten-free folks, there are a few items marked as gluten-free on the menu, but they also have gluten-free bread which they can replace for anything that comes with bread and they also have gluten-free waffles (which I will need to try next time). I can’t wait to come back and try other menu items!

What an amazing new brunch spot! The decor is lovely and homey like you’re pulling up a chair in a friends kitchen. The owner could not have been more friendly and accommodating. Tried several dishes and while all were tasty, the real stand outs were the goat cheese balls and truffle bacon and egg sandwich. YUMMY! We will definitely be returning again and again.

This place exudes fun vibes and offers great food and drinks! We had brunch there and really enjoyed it. The pork pastor was so tasty and offered all the protein I wanted and needed! Equal parts locals and visitors made for a lively scene. Perfect place to hit if you are coming in off the hike and bike trail. There is also off street parking and two parking garages nearby. Highly recommend!

Absolutely loved this new brunch spot! The atmosphere is incredible—warm, creative, and full of those thoughtful little touches that make it stand out. The ownership clearly cares about every detail, from the service to the presentation. The cocktails were outstanding, beautifully balanced, and even came with adorable rabbit-shaped garnishes that made the experience extra special. And the goat cheese balls?….Out of this world…crispy on the outside, creamy on the inside, and absolutely addictive. This place is a must-try for brunch lovers, and I’ll definitely be back soon!

This is such a cute spot! We are in town for ACL and met some friends here. The atmosphere, from the playlist to the decor, immediately let me know I was going to love this experience. The service was fast and friendly and the food was absolutely INCREDIBLE! I had the goat cheese, egg and bacon sandwich on PERFECT sourdough bread. My wife had the French toast and it was delicious served with some fresh fruit. But the biscuits really stole the show. We had the biscuit basket and one of our friends had the biscuits and gravy. Truly the BEST biscuit I’ve ever had. We had such an amazing experience!! Will absolutely be back!

I had brunch here while visiting Austin. Loved the restaurant's aesthetic and food/ drinks were delicious. This restaurant offers both indoor and outdoor dining. Looks bright and very clean. Staff was very welcoming and pets are allowed. Menu offered Breakfast and lunch options. I highly recommend starting with fried goat cheese balls 10/10. So delicious!! It's goat cheese has the pleasant aroma of lavender not overwhelming and although balls are fried its not greasy. My favorite part was that it comes in a honey and cracked pepper sauce 😋. I need to learn how to make these at home. Next I tried the truffles goat cheese bacon and egg sandwich. Very good and large portion. I opted for breakfast potatoes but honestly think it tastes better with the fries. Service was quick, we made last minute reservations and didn't have to wait at all. Great location and highly recommend for a simple,modern and delicious brunch.

Best brunch I’ve had in a long time! That truffle breakfast sandwich was melt in your mouth and the goat cheese balls were so good we ordered another round! Quality food, great drinks, the perfect patio playlist, and outstanding service…I’ll definitely be back at Fat 🐰 the next time I’m in ATX. 💯

I am sincerely impressed with the staff at this restaurant. I brought my 5 year old with me and the hostess came around from behind the podium and leaned over to talk to my daughter and ask her about her stuffed animal. It was very genuine and so cute. My stroller was graciously accommodated and then our server was also incredibly kind to my daughter. The food was quite good, probably the best waffle I've ever had. My daughter enjoyed her French toast and hot chocolate. Such a great, lasting experience we had and I already have another reservation.
