Bomb as* food ! Food was made to order. Great seasoning and portion size. Price points were slightly above average but would say worth it! You can add your own toppings to burgers - like a salad bar which was new fun thing! Only annoying thing is we have to pay .50¢ per side of dipping sauces - we did get tenders and fries, I feel they should be complimentary with those very universal dippable food options! THOUGH sweet potatoes were the best ever had! Staff was nice n efficient.

This was our second successful Uber eats purchase. We got a little hungry later in the evening. Luckily Fat Ronnie’s is open until 11. Not a huge selection of burgers, but you are able to add sauces and topics which leaves limitless possibilities. There are also other delicious options on the menu. The food arrived quickly and warm. Burgers were wrapped in aluminum foil to make sure they stayed hot. The fries weren’t as hot, but were crispy and delicious. I had a fat Ronnie and added guacamole and chipotle to mine. I think this burger is a great value because you’re able to add guacamole for free. Most places give an up charge. My wife got portobello on hers, also no charge. Overall great value for what you get. More importantly, the burger was friggin delicious. It was cooked and seasoned perfectly. I tasted the juices pouring out of every bite. The guacamole on top of was creamy and smooth. There was so much I was able to take a spoonful and tasted by itself. It was better than some Mexican restaurants Guacamole. Huge surprise. Just an amazing experience at Fat Ronnie’s . One of the best burger places I have ever eaten from. I highly recommend if you are just visiting Miami or live here. Five huge stars!

My turkey burger was good af! It's like I made it at home. When you order your food, after the bread and patty is done, they call you back for your condiments to be placed on the burger. You can take your time and see what you truly want. I don't know if they always do that or just because it wasn't so busy. The burger may be on the pricier side but it's well worth it. My only gripe is that these burgers are waaayy too good to be served with these wack fries. The current fries are dusted with flour. Please switch those out for steak fries or crinkle fries to serve with those amazing burgers. Location is great..there is outdoor seating so you can people watch.

My dining experience was okay and could have easily been 5 stars. What led me to 3 stars was the experience. The food itself was good, what I didn't enjoy was the ordering, and atmosphere. When I ordered my food the woman who took my order didn't ask how I wanted my burger cooked. After I orderd I went back and asked do I get to pick how I want my burger prepared she said I could have medium or well done. The other things I didn't enjoy were - 1. There was a large speaker hanging from the cieling by the speaker wires 2. Theres a bar with a couple of bottles of hard liquor on display but I couldn't tell if you could order a cocktail 3. There were some banks of lights off and one back corner where there was a tv on but lights off and a tarp around the area 4. The food isn't served in a tray, at least mine wasn't, just gave a me a burger weapped in foil and a cup of fries. I saw some people get theres in a basket. 5. My final gripe is the size of the fountain soft drink, its very small and you cant serve yourself. They have great fries but the portions of fries is bigger than the soft drink. Maybe they have different sizes but I wasn't given a choice when ordering and the drink they gave seemed like it was in a child's cup. I would visit again cause the food is good, but I hope they pay better attention to the details.

Whether you live in South Beach or you are visiting on vacation, add Fat Ronnie’s Burger Bar to your list of places to try. I am giving this 5 stars because the burger and fries were delicious and I can’t give it 4.5 stars. The reason for the half star reduction is the ordering process. It is weird. You order the burger and then sit down. They call you when it’s ready and you go to the counter to choose the toppings. It would make more sense for them to have you select your toppings before sitting down and they can assemble the burger when the meat is done. Besides that quirk, it’s a great burger. The price is justified by the size and flavors. They really do a great job. It’s well seasoned and juicy. The fries are perfect. The service was slightly above average, but nothing to reduce the start rating. I’ll definitely visit again.

It’s hard to ruin a wrap and cheese fries and somehow they managed to do both. I ordered the chicken wrap with cheese and the cheese fries, and for whatever reason they decided it was a good idea to slap slices of cheese on both and melt it??? It was actually just plain gross to the point where I took a few bites and threw out the rest. My coworker ordered the lobster cheese and stated there was no flavor. I don’t get it with these people lol??? I’ll never come back. Save your money and your time. Wish they weren’t that bad, 25$ down the drain for nothing.

Staying in a hotel near by and stopped in for convenience sake There is a great bar area with football playing and beer on tap The burger !!! The burger was phenomenal and I also got chatting to the owner Ronnie and told him how great the burger was ( I thought he was the server at this point ) He was so humble and proud of the compliment There's a lotta love in this business and you know what you can taste it in the food I'm a New Yorker and I know a good burger so do yourself a favour and skip ocean drive fast food joints and head here for a beer a drink and the best food

These are some of the best burgers I have had. The quality of the meat is high and you can customize it as you want. I have eaten there a dozen times and never been disappointed

Zero Hospitality and Zero Value for paying Consumers. Food was Average. As customers we evaluate service as equal to the product . On this day we purchased two Lobster Rolls for $85. The rolls were Average Value and the food was Average and met our need. But what lacked luster was the Value for Consumer. We should have expected it walking into a Burger Bar. The space was good for Fast Food and Big Groups. The chef guy seemed nice enough from afar and too the help but the cashier really changed our impression and ruined the value for a Lobster Roll In Miami that was supposedly from Maine. We would likely never return again and wouldn't recommend unless with the kids and fast group for fast food.

This place is such a hidden gem in Miami Beach! I went here to check out their new speakeasy, The Meat Locker, but I was definitely wowed by their food. I tried the burger, the lobster mac n cheese, and the fries with cheese sauce. Everything was so good, I wanted lots more! Definitely coming back asap. The owner, Ronnie, was also there and it was great to speak to him and learn more about his restaurant! The Meat Locker is a nice spot and you can take your food there and get great drinks as well!

it's a fine burger. A good burger even. The fries are ok. My review on the food. It's good. However, I spent $38 on a burger, fries and a 2 bottles of beer. When I went to ask for extra BBQ sauce, they want .50cents for any extra sauce. This is my review.

If you're in the area, you need to stop here and then check out the speakeasy inside! While I know they're probably no most known for the burgers, I decided to go for the lobster roll on this one. The roll in combination with the cheese fries was an absolute hit! The service here was pretty amazing as well & everyone was super nice and was patient with me when I ask for recommendations. I also got to learn a little bit about the restaurant history and how it's based on generations of their love for good quality food. Can't wait to see this spot grow in other locations and I plan on stopping every time I'm in the area.

Burgers don't get much better! Not cheap, but it's a big burger. Everything is fresh and service is top notch. Great fries too!

The food was amazing my burger was perfect and the cheese was actually cheesy, the fries were SUPER crunchy just how I like them so that was enjoyable and good staff they seemed chill. Super cool vibe and seating also has outside seating available but we sat inside cause we like booths.

Yo!!!!!!!!!! This place is BOMB! Yes that's my millennial coming out in me. Apparently that what this burger can do to a person. I got the smoked bacon and cheddar burger. The patty is so flavorful, fat, and juicy. It has a wonderful crust from the flat top grill. The buns taste homemade soft and chewy. They go the extra mile to butter and toast the buns. It's the perfect bun to meat ratio. The bacon has a subtle smoky taste for sure. You get to pick all the toppings of your desire to crown your beauty. The milkshake was sooooo good too. Really creamy, thick and silky and not too many Oreos. Do your taste buds a favor and try it!

We came in and ordered for take out we where pleasantly surprised. The menu was easy enough to follow. The burgers where great even for the pickiest eater and large portion to satisfy your hunger. They have seating for larger parties inside but also seating outside so you can people watch. It's my new burger spot on the beach. Enjoy!

The food was delicious. The veggies were fresh and we liked being able to select the toppings from the bar. My daughter and I had the fish and chips that was excellent.

Honestly it's a very decent and simple place. Actually it's pretty cool that you can add whatever you want to your hotdog! Just like in subway! They are kind of famous for burgers and lobster roll, but I wasn't in the mood for it today, will try to come to try it soon! But Hot dog is good!

Burger was so good i had to order another one, just gotta ask for the right level of cook for the meat. You can understand it's fresh meat and grilled on the spot. Service really good and quick. Pretty seats and tables and clean place. 100% would recommend

Been here a couple times now and I love it. It's my new neighborhood go-to bar. Ronnie is great and always around which just makes you feel at home (and also a plus there's a black-owned spot in SoBe). The bar is extremely intimate and also doubles as a sports bar which is pretty cool plus you get all the offerings that the Burger Bar has to offer.

Two or three things..I had missed Fresh Taste Friday because of a late workday at the cowfield..You can never get me to say no to burgers..the beach is my happy place. Combining these three factors, I stopped by Fat Ronnie's during Labor Day weekend. I noticed on Yelp Mobile that they're a new burger spot on the beach so off I went. Tucked away into the restaurant row just west of Alton & Lincoln Road, this is the Miami outpost of a Martha's Vineyard spot. The organization is "paint by the numbers" a la carte, where you select a basic burger and they add toppings. Like another reviewer stated, I saw they didn't provide a tray with my burger just individually wrapped. I don't know if this because of the Rona or being green..no biggie just...an observation. What makes Fat Ronnie stand out and worth a roundup is that in addition to sodas, beer & wine they also have a cocktail bar where I enjoyed their pretty potent 2 for 1 mojito. The only thing missing was the sugar cane stick. Service was really attentive as well! My burger was actually pretty tasty with the caramelized onions & bbq sauce. The patty was juicy and sizeable, and the bun fluffy. The green stuff - including banana peppers - were fresh as wwell. Sweet potato fries were decently crispy and not overly salted.

What a great burger. Found this place on a google search and I was not disappointed. Great service provided by Walter and Michael. I highly recommended this place.

My friend recommended this place, and it did not disappoint. It was quick to order and the food came out shortly after! You order and then you add the topping once the burger is done at the burger bar. Delish!! I ordered a burger with bacon and cheese and added tomate and lettuce. Wow! Talk about a juicy burger, probably one of the best I've had in a long time. The fries are to die for! We each ordered fries, sweet potato fries and onion rings. They were all great! My favorite were the regular French fries and with some ranch they would have been great, however they weren't serving side cups at the moment. Either way, the location is ideal, the food is delish and the service was great. Will definitely be coming back if in the area to eat there. My friend had the hot dog, and a few other items and everyone was very satisfied.

I have to take back my original review, because the service has declined tremendously!!! Its no surprise they dont have more business. Saw the cook eating in the kitchen with her gloves on... Disgusting. The food was cold and I'm almost positive the "cook" spit in it after I caught her eating with her gloves on. I will definitely not return, or recommend this place ever!

The burgers are too notch and the hot dog is easily one of the top ones we've ever had. Very cool place and they have a cool bar with tvs. We live blocks away so will back often.

OMGGGGGG!!! This food is EVERYTHING! This place does Lobster Rolls ALLLL the way right!! I had the 1/2 lb Lobster roll, sweet potato fries and a mango margarita! The chef ensures you get the 1/2 lb of lobster because I saw him weigh it LOL! Everything was fresh and made to order. Though it is on the pricey side..HEY! you're paying for lobster; it is WORTH every cent you pay. The place was clean and staff was super friendly. We chose to sit outside because the weather was nice. They do offer inside seating as well. If you're looking for a lobster roll in the near future...PLEASE do yourself a favor and check out Fat Ronnie's on Lincoln Road!

This place was a definite a welcome surprise. Ordered the Smoke Bacon and Cheddar Hamburger and my significant other ordered the Lobster Roll with a side of fries. OMG yum! The burger is huge and very filling. Very Tasty. Lobster Roll was also very large with meat overflowing. Side of fries were definitely shareable and equally delicious. Highly recommend Fat Ronnie's. staff was friendly helpful. Yum.

We found this place on yelp when we were planning our day trip to south beach. It turned out to be one of our favorite meals of the trip. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The food was high quality and amazing. One of the best burgers this foodie has ever had. It was flavorful, juicy, huge and cooked to perfection. The buns were buttery and toasty. The fries and onion rings were seasoned wonderfully and the portions were enough to share between several of us. The Mac and cheese was creamy, cheesy and cooked perfectly. Others at the table had the lobster roll and said that they were spectacular. We did not utilize the bar area, but it was spacious, clean and had a relaxing vibe like the rest of the restaurant. Indoor and outdoor seating available. Highly recommend and wish there was one in Indiana. The owner Ronnie came to check on us and clear the table. What a kind man he is. We wish him many more years of success!

I've been here a few times now. The food is great ! My personal favorite is the CGB- Cheese Sub ! Definitely check it out if you're nearby. However, the young lady with the light eyes needs to cheer up a little. I asked if I could please have a glass of water and she put a nasty face and was not friendly at all. I also saw her talking to other customers who I'm sure were tourists and she was not nice to them. I think this is wrong because we want fat Ronnie's to stay around in South Beach and if customer service isn't keeping our tourist around what is ?? I hope that maybe she was just having a bad day. Don't let this stop you from checking this place out !!!

My kid preferred to check out different restaurants whenever we travel, so we rarely go to the same place twice. But the burger here is so amazing that we have to visit twice after our first trip. Can't go wrong with the food, even I on a low carb diet couldn't resist the French fries. They're so good. I will definitely visit this place again next time we're back in town. Oh, happen to meet one of the grand daughter of the original owner, her name is Amani, very friendly and accommodating.

The waitress at register was great. Out of town and she was so helpful on procedure. The side was Mac and cheese was fantastic!!. I had the American baconI burger. Angus pattie was thick and I was impressed. Then u can go through and ask for anything u want for ur burger. I told the crew it was GREAT. I told them I'd be back for Mac&cheese for breakfast. 5-stars!!!!

Burgers had NO seasoning and Way over cooked. But the onion rings were ok. Just add seasoning and ask what temperature.

The food is amazing, the quality of the service is great, it is indeed pricey which is expected of south beach, but I'd pay any amount of money for those onion rings again! Amazing compliment to my burger, almost out-shadowed the burger but I could be biased, I really love onion rings.

One of the best burgers I've ever had! I chose the smoked bacon and cheddar burger with lettuce, tomato, chipotle sauce, onions, and pickles. The fries and onion rings were on point as well! Usually I go to shake shack which is right down the street; 3 minute difference in walk. The size of the burger is far beyond the size of shake shack's. It's enormous. The owner, Ronnie, came to our table multiple times to make sure we had everything we needed and just had a simple conversation about the food and these crazy COVID times. The two ladies (who look very much alike at the front counter ) were also amazing and made sure we had everything we needed. I've been on a healthy eats kind of vibe lately, so I'm glad I chose this place to have a "cheat" meal. Thank you guys for the food and I look forward to coming back again one day. Cheers!

The thrill is gone. Great burgers are not so great when the owner of the restaurant can't seem to grasp that texting my wife and repeatedly asking her to join her for a drink while feigning friendliness with me. Uncool, Fat Ronnie.

Is not easy to write this bad rating review, this place changed 1000000% for the worst ( look at my first positive review below ) and the question is how can a burger joint like this ( a burger joint ) be the best and become the worst in less than 1 year ? Is called lack of service and lack of attention from ownership. PERIOD A) As you can see on my first review, I loved the portobello mushrooms burger ( with the same toppings see you see on these picture ) but what I was served today was one of the worst burgers I have ever been served in my life, the unique beef flavor it had a year ago is gone ( TOTALLY GONE ) I ordered a well done burger and this is not even medium rare. TERRIBLE FOR A $20 burger. B) while I'm writing this post ( and the camera above me films the only 4 people in this restaurant 2 drunk ladies at the bar employee and my self ) I can see and hear the only employee ( which is also the bar manager ) laughing with her drunk friends at the bar, as clearly whenever she got up today her only goal was to give major attitude to the patrons and mainly to the influencer that walked trought their doors @7pm Gracie the best burger I had in Linclon RD. C) the drink I ordered is supposed to be a Manhattan well is nothing but a very cheap liquor with ice, I will leave it here on the dirty table ( I had to clean before sitting down ) to see who could drink it, because is the worst Manhattan I have ever tasted in the 20 years plus I have been legally able to drink. D) I asked her for utensils and she even got upset because I asked for utensils to eat a burger lol this woman is the worst employee and the worst image for any company more less a restaurant but this is a failing restaurant so they deserve that management. E) there's flys everywhere while I'm typing this review and the camera is filming, I already have killed 2 mosquitos hopefully they are not part of toppings of these horrible burgers. F ) for failure PLEASE save your money and don't even think about dining here or drinking here , their overpriced menu it doesn't match the quality or service I received once. I give them 1 to 2 years before they have to close.

This place is a MUST thing to do if you live in miami beach or just passing by Best burgers ever ! Short menu but no need more every one of the burgers in that menu have a great taste The staff super friendly and fast they make you feel like you are at home !! Funny fact there is one of the cookers a guy with lot of tattoos that he already know how i like the term of my meat and what sauces i put on it S/O to him best burger cooker of the county it feels good when they give u a 5 star service like that Finally just pass by you will not regret it !!! Its a fact you will become a regular just like me

My partner & I decided to take a mini getaway out of NYC for a couple days. Came across fat Ronnie's on IG & since we're both burger lover's of course we had to stop by! I got my burger medium well and OHHHH MYYYY GOODNESSSSS !!! So delicious!!! I added, caramelized onions with lettuce, tomatoes, chipotle mayo & jalapeños because I personally love spicy anything ! :). The buns were grilled to perfection & definitely buttery & was just absolutely mouth watering! So much flavor. I barely took a breathe in between each bite! As for the lobster roll ! That was beyond delicious as well ! Toasted butter roll & the lemony zesty flavor on the lobster was amazing ! & the staff was very helpful & super nice! Would definitely come back & highly recommend. They have a mini bar there as well which we didn't get to try out but I have no doubt that it'll be good !

Burgers and fries were good. But $100 for 4 burgers 2 fries and 4 drinks seems a little steep. I thought there was a mistake but 2 plastic cups half filled with cheap red wine for $12 each made for a quarter of the bill!

Genuinely the best burger place me and my family have ever been to. I got the bacon and cheddar burger, and it melted on my tongue. I wish this was available where I live, because this is something you can never get enough of. It's very affordable and in a convenient area. My family says they have a toppings bar, too! It's just... the best place I've ever been. I never write reviews, but they deserve it.

This was our First time here and definitely won't be the last! Service was great and I was honored to meet Ronnie himself. My fiancée is always critical about how saucy her burger is and this spot was on point with that, plus she added An egg and it was eggactly what she needed to satisfy her hunger!
