Great Vegan options. Did lots of research before this trip for vegan food in Vegas, this place never came up. Happened to notice while nearby. Best vegan smash burger I've had. The vegan milkshake was great as well. There is a $1 beer with your food as well. Julian was very kind at the register. My gf wanted to share that the Mac and cheese bites on her burger was a great addition

If you don't eat here before you die, I feel sorry for you. They don't have nachos, but they have the Fat Texas, and that more than makes up for it. There simply aren't words for how good this place is. All I can tell you is that you need to come here. Do it now. Pull up the flights and get here now. Tell them the Nacho Man sent you. It won't get you a discount, but you'll get funny looks, and that's even better. Maybe just ask for Alex. He and everybody here are the best in the world.

Came in on Halloween and although the area is very busy Fat Sal’s is not too crowded. The service was great, Julian was at the register and took our order and everything came out quickly. I got the double burger combo with fries, it was all delicious. The prices are also good.

Located within the Freemont Experience. Wasn't a long line but we went on a Wensday. The wait was about 15 minutes. They make everything fresh so be ready to wait. We had two people in front of us so I can imagine what the wait is like with more people ordering. But the food is worth the wait. I ordered the Bacon burger and it was delicious. Around 14.99 the fries were not included and seasoned ones we ordered were 5.99 so it can rack up. The fries are Coated evenly with the seasoning and you get their Fat Sauce. They also have different types of sandwiches which look good also. Overall not disappointed. They take credit and cash.

This place has amazing sandwiches! Some very unique Mashups...My son got a smash burger with mozzarella sticks on it and was in heaven. The ambiance is very urban and chill with some cool paintings on the walls. The staff was very friendly and very helpful.

Was looking for a place to get some food and we found FatSals and it was SO GOOD! exceeded our expectations and the vibe was cool. It’s open seating, order at the front and sit anywhere you want. They have really good smash burgers and onion rings were soooo yummy! Definitely would go back!

Love the music, definitely upbeat vibes! We got the turkey club to split and an order of fries. Sandwich was super fresh and delicious, fries were regular. I wish I had ordered the cheeseburger fries, but the plain are fine.

We decided to give Fat Sal's a try, and we were sure glad that we did. Service was outstanding and the Sandwiches even better. It was so good the first time, that we had to go back for a second time. Who knew a Sandwich with Fries and Onion Rings would be so good lol. And basically if you share half a sandwich like we did each time, it's a great way to try what's on the menu. So basically with us going twice we tried Four Sandwiches ( WIN WIN ) and with a nice added touch of the $1.00 Beer it just adds to a great easy lunch/quick bite. Definitely don't hesitate to try Fat Sal's whatsoever, you definitely won't be disappointed. Great service and not too mention very clean both times we were there...

Stopped here for a quick bite . Maria and Diana were the best, Beautiful and friendly . The fat Texas bbq was just perfect , so full of flavor. I'm so glad I shared with boo , cause half was enough filling ! I will recommend 10/10 and I will definitely come back !

Golly this place was so so tasty! Definitely one of my favorite eats on Fremont Street. They even had $1 beers (probably about 8-10oz) with the purchase of a fat sandwich. Draft of Estrella or Shock Top were the options I believe. We were a big group so we tried the tuna salad ($19), Caesar Salad Wrap ($16), Smash Burgers and Reuben Sandwich ($17). I personally tried the Caesar wrap and Reuben and both were phenomenal. You could tell the ingredients were fresh, thoughtful and the serving size was big enough even for a hungry man. The Tuna Salad was a huge portion! It surprised me. Most restaurants don't have salads this good! I would easily order any of these items again. So happy we decided to eat here when there are many options in Fremont. The service was excellent and the restaurant was clean. Couldn't ask for a better lunch with a big group.

I recently placed a delivery order from this location and was so happy with my meal. I got the turkey sandwich, and wow -- it was huge (definitely enough for two meals) and tasted fantastic! The bread was fresh, the turkey had great flavor, and it all held together really well despite being a delivery order. What I really loved was how many different items and toppings you can choose from to build your sandwich. It's rare to find a place that gives you so much flexibility, and it made the whole experience feel fun and personalized. I also ordered mozzarella sticks, which unfortunately didn't quite live up to the sandwich. They were a little bland and tasted like lower-quality frozen ones. If they upgraded the seasoning or used a fresher style of mozzarella stick, it would match the quality of the rest of the food. It is a bit pricey, but considering how big the portions are and how fresh everything was, I still felt like it was a good value. Delivery was smooth and everything arrived warm and well-packaged, which is always a big plus. Overall, Fat Sal's is definitely a place I'll be ordering from again -- especially for their sandwiches. The variety of options makes it easy to create exactly what you're craving, and that's something you don't get at most sandwich spots!

You will definitely get your moneys worth here at Fat Sal's. Not only are the portions generous but the type of food I'd just gonna fill you up. Seriously heart, comfort food. Burgers, double burgers, hot sandwiches, cold sandwiches, FAT sandwiches, hella good fries, and I didn't try them, but amazing looking milkshakes. A regular meal may gain you 3 pounds. The pastrami western double smash nearly ruined me. So tasty but so freaking filled with calories. Maybe just a little too much meat and bbq sauce. The Italian sandwich was also good. Totally different genre. This was clean. The establishment is clean too, especially compared to most of the places here in the downtown Fremont street area. That means they put some effort into upkeep.

What a cool place! My second time within a month in different cities! The service was great. Their sandwiches are amazing with such wild combinations. I enjoyed the Fat Texas! OMG... it was so delicious! I had bbq pastrami, chicken fingers, mozzarella sticks, bacon, french fries, melted cheeses, honey bbq and mayo, all on one garlic hero. What a combination! Their seasoned fries with "fat sauce" are THE best!!! Be sure to order a Fat Shake... either #4 or #5.... AMAZING!

RUDE RUDE RUDE !! We were walking Fremont and my Dad got hungry and we were kind of a big party but everyone paid in different orders. My husband ordered promptly and I needed a moment to read each option. The person taking our order VERY obviously was not happy with me trying to figure out what I wanted. There wasn't anyone in the restaurant! Ugh. NEVER AGAIN

The flavor and quality of the bread is exquisite. The meat is succulent and juicy. The toppings were delicious and it all meshed together well. The garlic aioli was of a superior quality. 4 Stars because it was hot as hell inside this place. Please close the doors and invest in top notch AC full of Freon. It was 120 degrees outside that day!

Only based on their Italian Sub vs. Jersey Mike's for value, taste/quality, portion... Jersey Mike's all day. Their fries were really good though

oofta!....Well the initial allure of Fat Sal's is undeniable, simply based on its name. As someone who appreciates all things indulgent, I can't help but be drawn to anything with the word "fat" in it......I'm fat too. This place ALSO seems to have quite an inflated sense of self-worth when it comes to their burgers. The prices here are a bit on the steep side. it's a fast food style process, order at the counter, take the vibrat-ey, buzzy thing and go fetch it when ready......BOOOORRRING! The Burger and fries weren't spectacular and it certainly wasn't terrible....the needle sits somewhere in the dead center. It filled you up-that's it. Therefore i have no complaints and no special kudos. Sorry Sal, your feelings are important but so is an accurate account of events. Would I label it "good"?- Yes, yes I would...and flavorful. Would I go back?- Erm....maybe not a special trip, BUT I'd return if it was right there & i needed a convenient bite to eat on Fremont. No knocking the place though, there are some things on the menu i wanted to try still.... If you need to use their restroom, they have a code and you cannot get that code until you buy something and have a receipt. That's a fantastic idea, but why were there 2 codes on the receipt if they are both labeled "restroom"....HA.

The food was nice and hot and tasty. Fries heavy salt but delicious and fresh. Service was ok and cashier was helpful. No table service per se..

You order at the counter and choose where to sit. We shared a cheesesteak sub which was okay. The bread was good but it was just kinda of plain in my opinion. It was also pricey for what we got. It was really loud in the restaurant too.

Perfect hangover cure. You get your food fast and area is clean. Staff is welcoming. It's right next to heart attack diner, which was too hospital-like for me. Got the Fat Sal and the smash burger. It was really great. Also a side of onion rings.

Walking down Fremont Street and thought I'd try out Sal's. Had the Honey BBQ Chicken. Good sandwich and very filling. $20 with a drink, pretty good deal. Worth a visit, probably a 2nd for me.

I chose this place based on its 4 1/2 star average rating and on the convenience factor, it being an easy walk from the Plaza. In my opinion, the place is over rated. Read on. I chose the Italiano consisting of "Ham | salami | pepperoni | provolone | sweet or hot peppers | shredded lettuce | tomato | onion | vinaigrette | Italian spices | on a hero." I found it to be just OK. I've had much better Italian subs elsewhere. The problem with fawning Yelp reviews is they create an expectation that most places have a hard time living up to. The drill is you order and pay at the counter, and they give you a thing that lights up and buzzes when your food is ready. It was fine, and the employees were friendly. Ambience wise, it's a casual, seat yourself place. It was fine, and I have no complaints about that. Would I return? the Magic Eight Ball says unlikely.

Located on the Fremont street experience. Great one-of-a-kind fat sandwiches. Staff was friendly. The place was clean and offered tables and chairs. The sandwiches were huge! Very tasty and full of everything. The fat cookie was decadent and still good the next day. It was too big to eat in one sitting. I bit expensive ($60 for 2 sandwiches, a cookie and drinks) but the sandwiches were very filling. 2 people could definitely share 1 sandwich and be fulfilled.

If you are walking along Freemont street and see the sign...and you want to nosh...it is worth the stop. Got a pastrami western double smash and the friends got traditional subs. Go for the subs...burger wasn't smashed, just fried. The subs were big and tasty. The big complaint is the menu is constantly in motion (seemingly as my old eyes tried to focus on it) and I couldn't read the menu fast enough to see what we really wanted. Onion rings kind of average as well...think under fried pre made frozen product. Would I go again? Hell yes! Would I uber from the strip? Weeeeellllllll...maybe not. If you seen the sign, be drawn to it...and get a sandwich, even if you slow the line down to read the menu

Great food, good service...... The service here is the best you will find in downtown. The food is amazing !!! So satisfying and will keep you wanting more. I will be back for sure.

Do me a favor, head to Fremont street and get the vibes STARTED at Fat Sal's. Insane burgers, insane sweets, speedy service and a great spot to sit down and people watch right on Fremont. Oh, and a FAT tuesdays in the same building? Get hammered and get the burger of your dreams all in one spot. I had the Baffalo chicken double smash with some regular fries and it made me realize that I had been missing something in this life. And it's got mozzarella sticks and buffalo sauce on it. Head on in and speak to head honcho Julian and see what burger fits you, you will leave satisfied. So tasty!

Amazing food. Huge portions. Gotta try this place. The Banh Mi was outstanding but the Chopped Cheese and Fat Sal were great as well!

While on Fremont Street stopped by to grab a sandwich to share. We decided to try the Holiday special. Turkey, dressing, gravy and cranberries on a yummy bun. Large sandwiches and $1.00 beer. Counter help was so friendly. A very good deal and fresh ingredients.

Pretty cool decor with good food. Albeit the price is pretty high but it's in a premier area so I guess it's expected. I'm told they offer a military/veterans discount for those who that applies to. I went on a Tuesday evening so my food came out quick also and the staff was nice. The place had about 3 big screen TVs also so it's probably a cool place to watch a game as well. I tried the fat jerry combo which definitely deserves to be called fat because it was so good. Even the fries came out well also. I will definitely come back to eat here again probably on a cheat day or on a day when I'm craving something like that but the price will probably keep me from frequenting it unfortunately. I would recommend to others check it out!

Owned by friends Josh Stone and Sal Capek, with financial backing by Jerry Ferrara of HBO's "Entourage" since 2010, the group's first Las Vegas location recently debuted on Fremont in the midst of all the madness near the East end. Debuted on 9/11/24, a soft-opening preceding, it is inside a shared space with rap blasting that guests are invited to choose overstuffed Shakes, Fries and overstuffed Sandwiches ranging from an $18 Fat Sal to the $99.99 Big Fat Fatty featuring thirty inches of Burgers, Steak, Pastrami, Bacon and more. Open daily at 11:30am, till midnight on weekdays and 2:00am on weekends, service is friendly albeit new and Food comes out hot whether it be a Pizza Burger on its Potato Bun or the exceptional riff on a Bahn Mi using Ribeye with Onion Rings. Less impressed by fried Potatoes, mostly limp even in areas not buried by toppings, fans of "Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives" may consider The Fat Jerry before ending their meal with a thick Milkshake or Fat Cookie that stuffs Chocolate Chip Dough with Red Velvet and Cream Cheese Frosting.

The food here in is just as good as the OG in LA. This place is HUGE 4-5 times larger than the one in LA. They had music, not sure if it's because it's opening day but it made the ambiance quite hip. The service was exceptional. I'm so happy there was a great service. I will definitely be back. It is quite pricy but you get what you pay for, A LOT OF FOOD!!

The service is always friendly and efficient, making the experience even better. Perfect for satisfying those over-the-top cravings foe when you're visiting DTLV.

Food was fire ambiance is chill and nice for a quicker bite. But tbh the sub was small compared to price... which was bothersome but I get it. Everything hella expensive. Idk it's the only thing holding me back from going here more often.

this is like if Steak + Shake had a cousin that always shows up Late to the party. i ordered seasoned fries. waited 8 minutes. fries were my only order. it was not crowded. + still , my fries were not hot at all.

My sandwich bread was soft, the meat was plenty and the sauces were spot on what I enjoy. I was like, there's a mozzarella stick and chicken finger in my sandwich, yes please! I also ordered tater tots, a pistachio ice cream shake and some plant based "chicken" strip Buffalo fries.

I had the Fat Breakfast. Was too much food for 1 human. :) Was pretty good. Locals, show a work badge for 20% off.
