Hands down one of the best breakfast spots around! The omelette was packed with flavor and cooked perfectly, and the service was top-notch—friendly, fast, and welcoming. But let’s talk about those Nutella waffles… absolutely heavenly! Perfectly crisp, loaded with chocolatey goodness, and topped with a gooey treat. We’ll definitely be back!

Came here last minute and had to check out the high reviews. It was overall good-ok. Our waiter was friendly. Out of all the items on the menu, our server only recommended the shrimp tacos. The shrimp tacos were good but not the best I’ve tasted. I felt like the truffle fries needed more truffle. The best entree we agreed on was the spicy Thai salad with chicken. It was flavorful and fresh. Overall it was good-ok.

It was an ok place. The food looked good and tasted good. The service, a little off; noticed he was very attentive to a table behind us but wasn't the same with us. He picked up their dirty plates before the check and kinda just left ours at our table. Only issue with food: Waffles looked amazing but didn't taste freshly made.

I visited this restaurant today and man what a treat! We tried the bacon dates which were phenomenal!! Forgot to get a picture but they are a must try. I also had the stork burger. This burger was hands down the BEST burger I've had in my life!! Wow!! Chefs kiss! The service was also excellent. Miranda was our server. She was quick, knowledgeable, and very friendly!! To add to, the music that was playing made the atmosphere feel fun and inviting. I will definitely be back soon!

At first glance you might second guess going in, but let me tell you it was well worth it. I understand why they have such good reviews. The food was excellent, the coffee was good, and the service was amazing! We are not from this area and always look for good places to try, and we are super happy we landed at the Fat Stork Restaurant. Thank you ☺️

Truly LOVED this place. Friendly atmosphere, AMAZING food!! Steak tacos had perfectly cooked, medium rare steak (how I asked for it), and an amazing chop of veggies! On another day they had a short rib, that was better than my Grandma used to make!! Truly wonderful.. and filling. Jose said the chef there, truly has a passion for his food, and it was evident with every bite. My most highest recommendation!!

Brought my oldest daughter her for a daddy daughter date after her soccer tournament. Ordered the Chipotle egged Benedict and the Oreo waffles. My daughter was impressed with the waffles both in taste and presentation. The chipotle eggs Benedict was beautiful and honestly I almost ordered a side of bread to make sure I didn’t leave any on the plate! Very nice atmosphere. Our waiter was fantastic! Definitely recommend!

Met some friends for dinner and they recommend we try Fat Stork. Walked in and seated immediately. It's in a strip mall with a cozy decor with a grass wall with lights. Several booths on the sides and tables in the middle. I ordered a large Caesar Salad which was fresh and truffle fries both very tasty. My husband ordered spaghetti and meatballs. Nice portion size with three meatballs and garnished with garlic bread on the sides. Our friends also loved their meals. Stork burger and steak tacos. Service was wonderful came by often to fill water glasses and cleaned up the table timely. Looking forward to returning to try other items on the menu.

Tonight I visited this high-end gastro pub that's been in business for just two years, and it definitely exceeded my expectations. The restaurant had an inviting atmosphere, with friendly staff who promptly seated us at a great table in the center of the open dining room. The menu was easy to navigate, offering a variety of options including tacos, burgers, salads, and pasta with meatballs. In addition, the jalapeno mashed potatoes stood out, and I was eager to try them. My wife opted for a very strong Sangria, and I kept it simple with water on the rocks. For my main dish, I ordered the Stork Burger with bacon and cheese, accompanied by the jalapeno mashed potatoes. The food arrived quickly, within fifteen minutes, and it looked just as great as it tasted. The burger was plump and juicy with cheese dripping down the sides while the mashed potatoes were perfectly seasoned with a mild jalapeno heat that wasn't overwhelming. The service from our server Jorge was excellent and he was attentive and friendly throughout our visit. The bathroom was in need of some attention, as it was clean but could benefit from some maintenance. Additionally, the small metal chairs, while visually fitting with the restaurant aesthetically, were uncomfortable and caused some back and thigh discomfort. Next time, I'll opt for a booth to avoid this. Overall, I had a great experience, and I would definitely return for the food and service, with the hope of a more comfortable seating option.

A day of shopping with a friend and it was lunchtime. So I went to my trusty Yelp app and typed in..restaurants in my area...Fat Stork popped up, the reviews and pictures of the food looked promising.. so off we went. This lovely quaint little restaurant was just what we needed. The place was cozie, the staff was friendly and watching them work you could see they all worked together. The food was full of flavor. Both my friend and I had the steak tacos for the sides I had fruit, and my friend had a salad with lemon vinegarette. We will definitely be back, maybe for breakfast.

Date night with my husband, cozy ambiance. We love the Fat Stork, the food is always over the top and super fresh. The fresh herbs add so much flavor. We started with chips and salsa it comes with guacamole ,sour cream and pickled onions. My husband had shrimp tacos, they were stuffed and delicious. I had the Stork burger, made exactly how I like it medium rare. We both had side house salad, it's light and mouthwatering. I can't say enough about the presentation of the food and service. The servers are checking on you to make sure you're happy refilling water. You can tell the food is prepared with love and care. We topped off our meal with tres leches. We have brought many friends here and it has become their favorite too! I'm so glad the Fat Stork is close to my home.

I went to have dinner with my father and we were both greeted with excellent customer service at the door. Our waiter made sure to check up on us multiple times and refilled our waters and asked if everything was good. When our food came out, my father was Enjoying it and love the mashed potatoes along with his steak. I had the fettuccine Alfredo with shrimp and it was a little on the creamier side, but I enjoyed it. I definitely would go out there again to see and try other things that they have on their menu. This is a place where you could go as a small group of friends or have a little date night.

Great local place with really good food. We saw this place on Yelp and decided to give it a try. The staff was welcoming and very attentive. There was a variety of specials to choose from. The prices were very reasonable as well. The Shrimp Fat boy was loaded with shrimp and very good. The Churrasco (skirt steak) was also a generous portion and cooked to perfection. Great value, good food, a local gem and must try.

Saturday afternoon girl outing and decided to come here because... well, the reviews of course! It's in a plaza, ample parking with decent signage for you to see the restaurant from the street. We were seated quickly enough by the friendly staff. There seems to be a 50/50 mix of loyal customers and new people. The rag they used to wipe the table needed a change though it smelled like old it was an immediate turn off, got table wiped again and decided to stay. Could use some renovations for sure but it lends to the local diner type vibe despite the cool name. We had margaritas but nothing special (margarita mix) since there was no bartender. My food was mediocre at best but my friend had the fish tacos which were tasty and her fries were awesome. I'd probably try it again in a few months if I had to but not sure I'd go out of my way to return. It's not terrible but it's not the best y'all have recommended either!

Good food for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Service is great too. My only negative and it's a big one for me is, if you are going to charge 3% for credit card transactions, you should let people know ahead of time to let them decide how they want to pay. It was not posted on the bill, on the menu or anywhere in the restaurant. We were not made aware of this fee until after our credit card was charged. Had we known, maybe we would have paid cash. Just add that into the cost of the food and don't charge it or post it somewhere! Thats just sneaky and shady to me.

We've wanted to go to the Fat Stork for a while and we finally got the opportunity. I saw signs on the window that claimed it was the place with Davie's best burger so I got the stork burger. It was a hearty burger and very tasty. Also very juicy. Very very juicy. Nothing wrong with that but you should just be aware. The restaurant itself was cute and had string lights and faux brick on the wall. It was a quaint little space. Our service was a little spotty and it might have been they were short staffed or it could have been the 16+ party that was there taking up all of the staff's attention.

Nothing special Fish tacos served cold and dry - no freash flavor combinations. Parsley appears to be the only herb they use. You dont know till you go.. I have absolutely no reason to return.

Found this place on Yelp, fell in love with the pictures and decided to try with my partner. Did not disappoint. The food is delicious and made to order so you will be waiting for a little bit but it is worth the wait. The flavor and amount of food is worth the price you pay. Fat Stork is cozy and family friendly. Love the relaxed decor and it is good for a relaxed lunch date or a solo date with good music! Does not look like much from the outside but will not be disappointed Alejandro is an amazing waiter who has amazing attention to detail and has been very accommodating and honest when we ask about the menu. Highly recommend!!!

Came here with a group of friends for brunch on a Saturday. This is a really great addition to the neighborhood. First of all, the service was amazing. Our server was friendly and knowledgeable. I ordered the Nutella French toast that came with a toasted marshmallow sticking out of it and a side of sausage . It was as fabulous as it looks in the picture My friend got the avocado toast with a poached egg. The portion was huge. She couldn't even finish it. She said it was delicious and filling. She liked it so much that she took it home to eat the leftovers. The BLT was prepared perfectly, as was the omelette. The restaurant itself was crowded, but there was not a line. The lunch and dinner menu looked interesting. It had good choices. We will definitely be coming back.

We kept hearing people talk a about Fat Stork. It caught my attention because of the name. I loved the name. So funny. And catchy! We came here for dinner and it's a small and charming space right on Griffin & Pine Island Rd area. A lot of interesting decor in the space. Cute. Our server was Rebecca and she was very friendly and attentive. Ordered a variety of menu items including the tuna tartare, grilled vegetables, kebab platter, steak kebab, churasco, fillet de dorado. The tuna tartare and churasco were our favorite dishes. For the $25 price point on the kebab platter, you don't get much and it didn't seem worth the price. The fish was tasty but a bit overcooked and dry. It's a nice local spot and we love supporting local businesses.

Clean and friendly. Very attentive and tasty food. Very impressed with the is restaurant. We normally come for breakfast but I was very pleased to see that their lunch menu is just as good.

I read good things about the Fat Stork. Somehow We didn't seem to think it was that great. The service was amazing but the food was lacking. The eggs benedict were cooked right but the tiny biscuut at the bottom was small and dry. The hollandaise sauce was okay, a bit too yellow for me. The fruit was nothing special. A slice of strawberry, a couple grapes and something that looked like canned pear. Overall I was not impressed. The classic breakfast was probably the best. A friend ordered it with truffle fries and sausage. The coffee was good and the server and took the time to make me a cup off decaf in the end. Hopefully it was what I ordered it just an off day.

Fat Stork offers a cozy, inviting atmosphere, and we found it a great place for group lunch/brunch. plenty of booth seatings and larger tables were available for bigger groups. Pretty big portion size for very reasonable price. Food was fresh and tasty, 3.5/5. The server was friendly and helpful - he kindly explained the portion size of everyone's order to make sure we were happy with our choices (some dishes come with sides and some don't), 5/5!

My friends and I came here for dinner last minute and we now have a new regular spot! The food portions were very big and filling. The steak tacos were delicious. The pulled pork pasta was also delicious and is a unique dish. Our server Jose was great and patient with us as we decided what to get. Overall a great place and the vibes inside are cute!

In for an early dinner on a Wednesday at 3:30. Nice inside with plenty of seating. ORDERED: Churrasco Steak medium rare with Chimichurri sauce applied $24.25 Came with a Cesar salad. Tender, Tasty & cooked just right. Already cut into bite size pieces. The only negative. For the price it could have been bigger. A small side of red beans and rice. $3.95 OK but pretty dry. Service was good. A long way from home. May go back.

My friends celebrated my birthday here and we had a very good time. It's a cute and intimate location. The place decorations are very cute. They have booths or regular tables. The ladies' bathroom has a very cute messaging. Also, it has a diaper changer, which is very important. Single bathroom for men and for women. The food was good but I had better breakfast. I would go back because the food is edible. My salmon was salty and one of my friend's food was really cold so she had to wait for them to make a fresh plate for her. The toast bread only toast on one side, which was weird I found the prices were on the high end. The customer service was very good. They were accommodating to our wishes. Very professional and friendly. That's another reason I would go back due to good customer service. If you're in the area looking for breakfast, bunch, or lunch, check them out. Oh, I forgot I had the peach sangria and it was very good!! However, the coloring threw me off!! It was red and had strawberries and blueberries inside for a peach sangria it was good dough so I'm not complaining as long as it is tasty in my belly

5/11/2023- Came in for the first time with my boss for lunch. It's in a shopping center so parking was a breeze. We came in and we're pleasantly surprised by the adorable decor. We chose to sit in a booth. Our waitress Katia (I think that was her name) took our drink order (water) and explained a little bit the menu and gave us the specials. They have a pretty extensive menu which means lots of great options for lunch. We decided to share the guacamole toast. My boss ordered the fish tacos and I ordered the shrimp kabobs. The toast came out and it looked divine. Beautifully plated and had great flavor. My boss was super happy with her tacos and said that it had plenty of fish. She order a side salad as her side. My shrimp was perfectly cooked and seasoned. I ordered the fries as my side. These fries were sooooo good. The food was so great we decided to order dessert. We had their limoncello cake. Again, another nice plate. It came with whip cream, vanilla ice cream and grilled marshmallow. That was the icing or should I say the marshmallow on the cake. Highly recommend. We told our co workers and we are planning on coming back. They also serve brunch and if it is as tasty as lunch I'm bringing my run group here. The service was wonderful. Highly recommend!!!

Good food but slow service. We decided to eat here at around 8pm on a Saturday night. There were a few other tables occupied and they told us to sit wherever we wanted. The menu is a little pricey but not outrageous. They really only had one server and one other guy who helped her with the drink refills. I ordered the salmon with a starter salad. The food took a little longer than expected to arrive. Luckily, we weren't in a huge hurry. The service, in general, was slow. They were a little lazy with the drink refills and clearing the plates away. The salmon was good and the portion size was fine. I chose the rice and beans (you get one side) and I wouldn't choose that side again. It had a certain sweetness to it that was sort of weird. We passed on dessert since it was getting late. Would I go back here? Maybe. As I said, the food wasn't bad; it was just a little expensive. If they had coupons, that might encourage me to give this place another try.

Finally had the opportunity to stop in and check this place out. From the moment you walk in you are warmly greeted and the attention the wait staff gave was on point. Waiter was amazing, suggested on items that were specials that were not on the menu. We decided on the picaña for two (shareable) with jalapeño mashed and truffle fries which were all very good! We were very surprised that the meal was affordable and were pleased with this place from staff to ambience. We will be going back, have a few other items we want try out.

I've probably already left about five reviews for them. This place is so good. The quality is always top-notch. The chef is so nice. The staff is always so nice. The ambience is super cute. The food is always superb recently has been their spicy Thai salad and I had some wildcat salmon on top. It is so good. Everything is always so fresh. I can't recommend them.

We love the Fat Stork. We are more of a regular before 10am type of bunch. This place is wildly popular and gets very busy. The food is always delicious!

Recommend the chicken kebabs they are excellent. I have had the steak kebabs there twice and one time they were tough and the other time they were amazingly tender. This is a great place to have a casual business lunch.

Nothing special. Charges 3% on credit card charges. No substitutions. Not customer friendly at all.

As much as I wanted to like Fat Stork, nothing really impressed me. Some things were good, others were disappointing. I doubt I'd go out of my way to come back. I ordered the shrimp kebab as my entree. The shrimp were cooked well and had a nice char flavor from the grill. Unfortunately, the sauce they were served with was overwhelmingly sweet and really detracted from the flavor. It was much better once I added the juice from the lime wedge, however if the sauce needs acidity to balance it out, why wouldn't it be served that way from the start? I'm also a little confused as to why they referred to the side of veggies as cole slaw, as they weren't dressed at all. The plate as a whole was decent flavor-wise, but the way it was presented could definitely use some work. With my kebabs, I also got the caesar salad side. This was really not great. It was served with a fairly ridiculous amount of powdered parmesan instead of shaved as you'd expect, and the lettuce was still sort of wet when it was put together, which meant a simultaneously soggy and powdery mess. I tried my best to scrape off the powder cheese but it was really frustrating to try to eat. Our main waiter was nice enough, if fairly nervous. At one point a different waitress brought our food over and she spilled some on the floor and table and nobody really did anything about it. The restaurant itself had a homey sort of vibe, and seemed like it was full of mostly older locals.

Wow... such a great place! I heard about Fat Stork through Let's Eat South Florida. Everyone seems to love it, so we gave it a try. Our server, Alejandro, was the best..very helpful and so kind. The food is super fresh and delicious. Their jalapeño mashed potatoes are the best mashed potatoes I have ever had, really scrumptious. My husband had the penne with a touch of pesto and citrus butter. It was loaded with fresh, perfectly cooked vegetables. The portion was huge! We're so excited to add Fat Stork to our top tier restaurants!!

Great new addition to the restaurant line-up in Davie. This is a small, family owned and operated restaurant with a gourmet touch in everything they make. It is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, and in addition to their regular menu, they have daily specials listed on a board just outside the restaurant. Service is always friendly and fast, and prices are very reasonable compared to other places with similar quality dishes. If you like veggies, I highly recommend their grilled veggies appetizer. Great seasoning and smoky flavor. Their shrimp kabob is also a winner. If you like red meat, they always have a few options, including skirt steak, sirloin steak and pulled pork. This is a nice neighborhood restaurant with an excellent chef. Give it a try if you are in the area.

Good food , in a diverse parking lot! Food is cooked fresh to order with pleasant staff! Menu is not terribly large but it does a little something for everyone's tastes. Portions are large and very fulfilling. I would try this place again . Live laugh and smile!

We found this through Yelp as we were in the area and looking for lunch one day. It was quiet inside and the service was good. My sister had the Spicy Salmon salad, which she enjoyed, but the spice kept creeping up from the salmon and it ended up being was a bit too much for her. So she couldn't finish it. I ordered the Shrimp Kabob, which came with a teriyaki/soy sauce base and a side of slaw. The shrimp kabob was good - flavorful and cooked perfectly. I didn't like the slaw, due to the pieces of cabbage being too big with not much of a dressing, so I felt like was eating a mouthful of raw cabbage. The prices were good, and we would definitely return. While I would get the kebabs again, I would also like to try some other dishes.

I came here for brunch and they still had the breakfast menu so I decided to order breakfast. It was good. Service was great, décor okay as well. Fat Stork is a small restaurant located in a plaza which I drive by all the time on Griffin Rd so it was nice to experience a place I have never been to. The truffle fries are amazing, I love me some truffle fries!!! I had that with scrambled eggs, sausage, toast - the typical breakfast. Interesting enough that Fat Stork is owned by 2 Ukrainians. I would like to go back for dinner or lunch if in the area. The pictures of the food look good.

The Wolfpack had dinner here tonight . The Fat stork is one of our favorite local restaurants . We ordered pork tacos with rice and beans. The tacos were rich in flavor and the rice and beans were just like homemade Latin style! Our server Jasmin was friendly . She has a great smile and was very attentive. Jasmin made sure we enjoyed our dining experience . When In Davie, stop in , enjoy their unique crafted foods. Remember to ask for Jasmin when you arrive !

Went here with a few friends for brunch and had an amazing time with them. I decided to have a bagel with lox and two poached eggs. I didn't like the lox personally, couldn't tell you what was wrong with it though. I also had two beers, which can never be a negative. I tried my wife's bacon, which was good; nice and salty. Our server was very attentive and helpful; making sure that my wife's situation with her dish was taken care of. At the time we came, the music wasn't too loud; making it the perfect level to not have to yell across the table to have a conversation.

The servers were welcoming, friendly and attentive. The ambiance was homey. And this mushroom burger was incredible. The fries were cooked perfectly. Crispy. Soft. Not oily or soggy. We were very pleased with our experience.

The food was delicious. We came for lunch. I got the mahi tacos and the flavors were amazing. My boyfriend got the BLT and the Caesar salad. Portion sizes were good and the ambiance was great. Music was good and the placed is decorated really nice. Our server Tracia was extremely attentive and cared how our experience was. We will be back to try the bites on their dinner menu and hope to be served by her again! She made the experience great and deserves kudos!

Saw this place on yelp, and seemed like a great place to visit. Came here for dinner with some friends. It's a very mom and pop type vibe, great for a casual/quiet lunch or dinner. Our servers were great! Very friendly and helpful, informed us of their specials and available desserts that weren't on the menu. My friends and I ordered the mahi mahi, salmon, and mini steak kebabs. For starters, the presentation of the food is great! The steak kebabs were cooked to perfection, the sauce tastes like a mix of barbecue and some sort of teriyaki sauce. It paired perfectly! My friends really enjoyed their dishes as well. Salmon was flavorful, and the mahi mahi tasted fresh. The jalapeño mashed potatoes were delicious! Have never had something like that before, and I was pleasantly surprised. Not much of a kick to them, but the jalapeño adds an interesting flavor. Fries were paired with a pink sauce. We ended our dinner with a caramel cake. Definitely recommend, not too sweet and paired perfectly with the ice cream. Will definitely be returning soon!

Really enjoyed our meal here. Cute place that was pretty busy on a Saturday. I had the fish tacos, which were really nice. Liked grilled fish and toppings. Great flavor overall and the fries were yummy. My husband had the Stork burger, which he said was great. He eats plain burgers with no sauces or toppings, except cheese and bacon in this case. So when he says it's great, he means the meat and quality is great. Not easy to get a thumbs up on a burger from him, lol. He had the mashed potato side and really enjoyed that as well. Overall, everything was great. Service was excellent too. I'm already eying a few things on the menu to try on my next visit.

It doesn't look like much from the outside, but the food is fantastic. I had the burrata salad, and it was the most flavorful salad I've ever eaten. Everyone in our party of four was pleasantly surprised by their meal. This is a huge win.

I saw the Fat Stork posted about on a Facebook food group and so I decided to check them out. The menu is pretty eclectic and depending on when you go determines the menu. Brunch is served Fri-Sunday. Lunch is Mon-Thursday. Dinner is every day starting at 5. There is some overlap in the menus but there's a lot of variety to try. The first visit we went for brunch. I had 2 perfectly cooked over medium eggs with potato wedges & toast. It also came with meat, however I don't eat meat so I asked for it on a separate plate for my husband. I also asked for a side of avocado. It was reasonably priced and while it could have been a little riper, it was good. I had coffee. The coffee was...well coffee. The potato wedges were perfectly cooked and nice and hot. My husband had the spicy Thai salad with chicken. He loved it. The house made dressing had amazing flavor but was a little too spicy for me, but perfect for my husband. Our second visit was today for lunch. My husband had the chicken tacos. His meal came with a choice of house salad, fries or a Caesar salad. He opted for the house salad and asked for the dressing he had last week. The house salad was your basic salad but the dressing made it delicious. He said he enjoyed the chicken tacos. I had the tuna tartar. Mine did not come with a side, which I was fine with. It came with 3 crostini's and was plenty. We ended the meal with a piece of chocolate cake. It was dense and delicious and not crazy sweet. There are no dedicated appetizers on the menu, but quite a few items that could be an appetizer. There was something for everyone and everything we have eaten so far has been fresh and delicious. The restaurant is clean and service was excellent. We now need to check them out for dinner.

We just happened to be looking for lunch in the area and found this lovely place! The decor is very cute and the staff was very friendly and welcoming. They even decorated a bit for the holidays. I thought the mug station was adorable as well. Super easy to join the waitlist on Yelp, but also we didn't need to really as we were seated right away. I was SO happy with my bagels sandwich and the house potato wedges. It was devoured so fast, I barely blinked. Salmon was fresh and the wedges had a great zesty seasoning. My bf liked his BLT buy definitely would come back to have the bagels sandwich. He also enjoyed the house potato wedges. Can't wait to go back to the some eggs benedicts for breakfast!

The Fat Stork, formerly Lunessa Cafe, is located on the south side of Griffin Road in Davie FL, just west of University.  I have been to Lunessa before so I had high expectations for the Fat Stork.  In many ways those expectations were surpassed. It has been open under this name for about two weeks from the time of this review.  And the only thing I am completely certain of is that they are still working out some of the kinks.  Especially when it comes to service.  On a Saturday morning the place was half full with two servers and they had a hard time keeping up.  There was also a language barrier which didn't help matters. The food is visually stunning, tasty and very reasonably priced.  Had the Nova Benedict with a side salad.  Fresh and flavors were perfect.  Two sides of bacon... Can't go wrong there, bacon was thick, crispy and not over cooked.  The star of my meal, and yes it was not the bacon, was the burrata salad.  It was soooo really good.  See the pics. I liked the subtle touches they made on changing the decor.  There is still the iconic mug display, but the greenery on the walls gave a much cooler vibe. Definitely worth another visit.  FAT STORK is a WINNER!
