LOVED the slushies. Never been to this place it was pretty chill. Although they gotta clean the floors they were too sticky to walk on. The seating is nice too with the sofas. I’d come back again just for the slushy 😊

Staff is always friendly and nice. 180 octane will get you where you need to go. 😵‍💫. Idk if they “allow” dogs, but one hot summer day I brought him and they were very welcoming of him. I got a 180, him water. ☺️👍🏻

Game Day Sunday at Fat Tuesday Philly. They have specials and the Philly Cheesesteak egg rolls are too good.

Dope area. Wings were surprisingly SOOOOOO good!!! Games there & a lot of stores close by.

This place was sticky and it smells like bathroom at the bar. The server was not professional see photo. She made the wrong drink. Then got made we sent it back. I asked was this the correct portion and she rolled her eyes and said , "we only have one".

9/10 Great service. Becky was doing her thing behind the counter. The atmosphere was nice on a Sunday afternoon close to evening. Not crowded at all. The food was served fresh and hot.

The greeter very nice and professionally. I went to use the restroom and my husband was still standing there without being served. Mind you the place is not packed at all. The bartender was too busy chatting and not reading the room. My husband finally went and gestured to serve us. The bartender just say oh I’ll be down there. We walked out. Coming from Jersey stopped in to have a drink and was very disappointed.

I absolutely LOVED this place. Would love to go back and would also recommend others to also go there too.

I had no problems with staff; all very friendly to me. The drinks were good, exactly what I expected. The only problem I have is this place looks very beat up. I never been to a Fat Tuesdays before but I've passed by plenty of them on vacations and they never looked beat up. They always looked vibrant and fun. This place looked sad plus they were missing several of the drinks. I probably wouldn't recommend this or come back. It was nice to try but I would rather go to one of the other locations of theirs.

Went here to meet people post a bridal shower for drinks and music. Parking: Metered street parking. Sundays on streets on the side of south street is free. On South Street, it is only 2 hours. Ambiance: ok. No music was playing. Maybe because it was Sunday. There should be music any time. Drink: I had the slushy mango with a shot of Jack Daniel black. I was told the drink would sneak up on you, but that never happened for me. I haven't been to Fat Tuesdays in some time, but I may go back during peak hours them again, maybe not. I hope you enjoy your experience.

20 minutes to get a drink, pee all over the bathroom floor, tv in black and white and at different times. Terrible experience.

On a beautiful Friday evening we strolled to Fat Tuesday and although it was still early in the day the experience was just as we remember! Large dark room, sticky floors, typical dive bathrooms and indoor/outdoor seating. BUT no one is coming here for the ambiance It's all about the drinks The ultimate frosted beverages did not disappoint. I had the 190 Octane and my lovely companion had the Pina Colada both with a shot of 1800! With every icy sip you KNOW you are getting what you paid for. It's the very grown up version of Italian ice with the perfect balance of lip smacking slush and the alcohol of your choice. So if you're looking for something to cool you down and heat you up ..you gotta drink here! We loved people watching from the balcony!

Went here on a Friday night, there was only 4 other people in the place. Lots of different options but everything was very expensive but strong. Service was ok but nothing to special. Very large inside. I don't think I would go here again unless they were having an event that I really wanted to go too.

Fat Tuesday is more nostalgic than anything. Slushy alcoholic drinks with not much expectations. I've been here many, many, many times! I haven't been here in several years. This is the first time I went during the winter and in the afternoon. Definitely different atmosphere than I've experienced in the past. I did not know it was as spacious as it was without it being super packed. We also did not have to wait to order our drinks. Before we were able to order our drinks, we had to show proof of vaccination & photo ID. Mask mandatory (again) too. Tried their jello shot and the "pimp juice" frozen drink. It was a nice amount of alcohol in the drink. Fun day drinking and hanging out.

BASURA !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The bartender wasn't welcoming at all ... & it's fair to assume that someone pissed in her Frosted Flakes.

I visited along with my wife! The bartender attitude was bad! Blue hair bartender was wonderful her co worker not at all! The most disturbing part about our visit! The staff allowed someone to sit at the bar with a full mask on only eyes showing! That is horrible and uncomfortable! This needs to be addressed! I hope you give the staff enough power and security to turn this type of people away!

This ain't it... slushy was cool. Tasty but damn near $40+ for a slushy with a, what had to be no more than a third of a shot of Goose added plus tip. Went on a Sunday, expected it to be empty but def won't return.

Stopped here for a drink and it had a nice time. Very spacious inside with some outdoor seating as well. Cool spot since south street is always very busy. Not my favorite bar but fun for a quick stop and drink!

2 stars for customer service onlwhich was seemingly decent. I had not 1 but 2 weak drinks! The drinks are to go only so you can't be inside with your drinks. I want to start off by saying I felt ripped off. A cheap styrofoam cup with a weak drink just makes it even worse. All they had were daiquiris and nothing else from the drink menu was available. I had an entire 16oz drink and didn't even feel the slightest bit of a buzz. My picture of a Fat Tuesday drink was not Instagram worthy. Such a disappointment! I won't be coming back here until they fully open.

Stopped in for a taste of some nostalgia. The 190 Octane didn't pack the same punch as what I remembered, but perhaps things are just different in Philly compared to Miami. The spot itself is pretty no-frills. A few tables, TVs tuned to sports channels, and music. It would never occur to me to order food from here as Fat Tuesday has always been a drinks only kind of place to me. The prices were much higher than I expected, and I was disappointed to find that souvenir cups weren't available. Service was really good though. There was only one woman on the bar and she handled the line really well.

Service was trash! We paid $5 to get in which is cheap granted but the place was packed and we sat in line for nearly 30 minutes waiting to place orders. We saw people leaving and the guy at the front was giving all of the guys who left before us refunds, so we decided to leave too but when we asked for our money back he told us rudely to "read the sign" which said no refunds and no exceptions we kindly reminded him that he gave the guys before us refunds and he said it was because he "knew them personally" but I thought there where no exceptions? Had he been nicer it would have been understandable but he was just rude and hostile.

All the years that I've been visiting south st & I never actually stopped in this place lol My friends and I finally decided to pay a visit. The only regret I have was the brain freeze for chugging my drink to hard LOL.

As part of our bike pedaling tour, this spot was actually recommended by our guides. When we first walked in (which took a bit because we were confused with the layout of the bar and how the entry/exit doors were labeled) we thought that our guides had made a mistake. It was completely empty, the bar had super low energy, and so we went to Reef, a couple doors down. After we got drinks from Reef, we decided to give Fat Tuesday another try since we had some time to kill (5 minutes) before returning to our bike. It was still empty, so my group of 6 sat at the bar and ordered shots. They weren't bad, but also weren't out-of-this-world. A 3-star "OK" review is pretty much exactly how I'd describe our experience.

Any time I come to Philadelphia. I have to stop here. This location is actually one of my favorite ones of the various locations I've been to. This time was slightly different . Well for starters I went on a Friday and the music was horrendous. -- They said they DJ was on a recess and wouldn't be returning until that Monday. Which was interesting. On top of that the service was extremely poor this evening. The servers were not tending to the tables. I had to order my food from the table. I specifically told the server that I wanted to order an order of fries without cheese or anything because I was a vegan she told me okay. She then proceeded to bring me the fries but they had cheese spilled all over them. She argued with me that I didn't tell her to add the cheese on to them. When I can certainly guarantee that I did ask her that. She said she'd let me know what it is a manager could do to accommodate me on this. I was later told that they don't take things back. For me this was baffling. In this day that a restaurant would not offer to meet the needs of a consumer especially as it relates to dietary restrictions. This review is generous and solely based off of the experience of the drinks. I'd still recommend going. This just really gave me a bad taste for them.

Very nice and cozy ambiance. Went with my two aunts and we loved the frozen cocktails with alcohol in it.

I've been to the Philly location twice and I've had great experiences! The drinks are affordable and you are able to mix the flavors if you would like to experiment. The environment has a good and chill feel to it. I always go with my friends and we always have a good time. I never had their food but they do have sandwiches and wings available to eat. My go to flavor is always Mango and it's good on its own without mixing. When I went to they're Bahamas location, one of the staff members made me aware that I was able to mix the flavors if I wanted to and since then I try to experiment. This time I got Mango and eye candy together and it was amazing. I love fruity drinks so it was definitely the perfect combination. I recommend this place if you do want to go out for the night with your friends or significant other or just by yourself if you want to chill out.

Haven't been to Fat Tuesdays in years. Bought a refillable cup long ago & the manager states they never sold this cup here. This is the only location I've ever been to & this is where I purchased it. His refusal to fill the cup & charge me regular price wasn't even an option. I would have paid full price for what I wanted but his attitude was horrible & argumentative. Won't be back again. Side Note: I was there when they opened for the day. It wasn't busy & they had no tops for their drinks‼

Every time I visit Philadelphia I go to Fat Tuesdays for a tasty, slushy, boozy drink. Usually the staff is laid back and super friendly. The last time was during the summer (low covid #s) and there was no indoor access, limited seating on the sidewalk and the employees were a little brusque. I figured it was the stress of operating without being able to do things in their regular fashion. I ended up purchasing face masks and skipped the alcohol since the lady cashier met me with the worst vibes. This time they were outright rude, particularly the female cashier with short hair (same one from before). I thought, be extra nice it may help. My friend and I walked up after having our ID scanned and said hello. Nothing. I was thrown a bit, but my friend was so excited to sip. I attempted to order and was cut off and told "no mixing flavors". Ummm ok. I chose one and she plopped the cup down and stuck her hand out. I beg your pardon? No total, but a hand? I wasn't sure if there was tax, finally she barked out "10". I gave her exact change. Rudeness does not deserve tips. No worries, I will take my business elsewhere in the area.

Fun Saturday night at Fat Tuesday! I enjoyed myself and was really digging the NOLA vibes. It was my first time visiting an actual Fat Tuesday restaurant. When I was in Las Vegas last year, I purchased a daiquiri from a Fat Tuesday kiosk inside one of the hotels. Other reviews claimed the staff/bouncer takes your photo upon entering. I did not experience that during my visit. I was asked for ID, the bouncer scanned it and I was able to get in. I was also not charged a cover. When I arrived, there was ample seating and lots of standing room. It was still early when I got there. As the night went on, seating was scarce and it got crowded. Luckily, it doesn't get too hot inside because they have the front door open constantly. The con of having the door open though is that you can smell cigarettes from the people going outside to smoke. That was one thing I wasn't too pleased about. You can choose between a small or large daiquiri. I went with 2 smalls and that was enough for me. There is a lot of alcohol (and sugar) in these things and it'll catch up to you quickly. I ordered the Rum Runner first and then I got the Creamsicle, which is banana flavored daiquiri mixed with 190 Octane. Both were exceptionally good. I was surprised. There are colorful bead necklaces hanging up on the wall near the register. I think they are available for purchase, but I'm not entirely sure. I can't forget to give credit to the bartenders. They were nice and asked if we needed anything throughout the night, despite it being busy and having to scream over the obnoxiously loud music to tell them what we wanted. I didn't get a chance to try the food. This is not the place to go if you're looking to get an entree or full course meal. They mainly have small bites, sandwiches and apps. My expectations weren't high for this place, but I ended up enjoying it and I'm curious to see how it would compare to a Fat Tuesday in New Orleans whenever I get the chance to go out there.

Came here on 4th of July and I was really surprised at the lack of turn out and service. There is no table service at this time and it took the bartender a while to acknowledge although the place was empty. And I have been to Fat Tuesday's pre-Covid where we were standing shoulder to shoulder. I hope they bounce back fast from the pandemic because they need it!

This place is great!!! I was across the street at the Sprint store and I got some unpleasant news. I was trying to upgrade my Samsung to the 3 1/2+ foldable option. The dude behind the counter, Derek, I think his name was, was like "nah dude that's gonna be an extra $50 a month". I was like "HUH!?!?! Hell no!" I asked to talk to the manager but Derek said he was the manager. Idk why these Sprint store employees think that they're so powerful that they have to flex on working class people like myself. Like, where does Derek get off on knowing that I'm out here rocking a Samsung 2+, which is basically obsolete, when he could just help me out and hook it up. For the uninformed, the Samsung 2+ was really cool... like 4 years ago. It wasn't even foldable. I was trying to explain that to Derek who probably wasn't even born when the 2+ was released. He told me that he could get me an iPhone 9x for next to nothing, but I was like "I appreciate the offer and I'll take it under consideration", knowing full well that I wasn't actually going to. Anyways, I was equally upset by the fact that the Flyers just lost the big game, against our classic rivals, the Penguins nonetheless. Needless to say I was fuming. I was punching a wall in an alleyway and my knuckles were bloody. For a second I thought I could see actual bone... but then I saw Fat Tuesday. I noticed the neon sign across the way, and it was like a signal from god almighty. I was like "Fat Tuesday...? More like 'F*ck Yeahs-day'". I started out with a crisp, cool bud light. It went down smooth, almost too smooth. I knew I was in it for the long haul. It was a good thing that I took a scooter. I lost my license after some bullshit went down in 2015. It was total bullshit and I wasn't at fault. I did my time all the same. After the bud lights I moved on to some tasty cocktails. They have one that the bartender invented and recommended called the Twisted St. Lucas or something. It was veeeeerrrryyy strong. There's a dented up scooter somewhere on 5th St. Don't get me wrong, I wasn't "overserved". If anything I was underserved! I was just livening up, coming in to my element, even preparing to sign up for some karaoke. The bartender dude, Kieth or something, tried to cut me off and tell me that they weren't doing karaoke that night. They have a stage and there were people on it who were singing... I'm pretty sure. I know Keith was just doing his job and being professional but I could've easily had one more drink and still managed to belt out some Billy Joel. Keith is also a fan of Billy Joel. He and I had the chance to talk while I was waiting for my cab. Fat Tuesday has a phone charger, but only one, which is why my phone was dead and Keith had to call me a cab. Also, if you're considering getting a Samsung 2+, I'll save you the time. Don't! The battery life duration is shorter than my second marriage. My second wife, Jolene, was kind of a tough nut to crack. I wanted to travel and she wanted to settle down and have kids. That's a whole different story. I was explaining this to Keith while we were waiting for my cab. Keith has also experienced some really traumatic shit. We'll just leave that at that. Anyways, Fat Tuesday is da bomb! Looking forward to many more good times!

Stopped by with my wife to get drinks. We usually get plastic cups that has the logo on it and today we got styrofoam cups, wasn't a fan. But overall the drinks are BOMB and the vibe is always good along with great customer service from employees!

This was my first time coming to this bar and our group had ordered several drinks from their slushee machines. Tried to order food after several patrons were looking at the food menu 1 minute ago and actually ordered food, which they received. I was told that the kitchen closed by a bartender who were too busy on their phone than serve. Several other patrons ordered food after me and received their food, suggesting that there may be a level of discrimination towards non-regulars.

Never fails with a good slushy drink .. would never order food from here just drinks . I got the " pain in the ass" which is the rum punch mixed with pina colada.. parking is horrible ! In the middle of the strip "south st".

Nice selection of flavors available. The drinks aren't weak at all but still taste good. Service was quick and pleasant. Nice spot to pick up some drinks especially during the warmer months to cool off!

normally i wouldn't go to places on south street but we went to celebrate a birthday and actually had a lot of fun. i was sad the strawberry drink machine was down but made due with the large variety. the bartender was really nice!

I never knew there was a Fat Tuesday's in Philly!!! This is definitely one of my favorite stops when traveling to the islands or to Vegas!! I went on Monday, Memorial Day, in the afternoon. There were a few patrons in the actual bar, and a few more outside on the stools. The drinks were great! Just like I remember, but there was a homeless man that kept running up and down the stairs next to where I was sitting. It was a bit nerve wracking but besides that, it was a great place! Drinks were reasonably priced.

COVID did not get in the way of the customer service these gals are serving up! Up one set of stairs with ID in hand and you can enjoy chilled libations as you descend down the other flight. I was sold on the Piña Colada until I heard someone order the "Cat 5," so I figured, "...when in Rome..." and grabbed that jawn! No entry into the actual premises once you climb the stairs, but no worries...the big window is open and they are dishing out liquid vibes. They have a menu of pre-made slushies for your sipping pleasures. No mixing guys, unless you buy more than one flavor. Hand sanitizer is out for use and your mask is a must for entry...up the stairs. They take exact change, contactless payments and most importantly tips. My drink was $10. The Cat 5 was a head banger so I'll be sticking to the grass I know, The Piña!!! If you're looking for a place that approximates NOLA slushy drinks, then go to Fat Tuesday. If you want to pay a $10 cover after 8pm to go to a clubby atmosphere where they take your photo when you come in because they think you might do something worthy of arrest, then go to Fat Tuesday. If you want to watch all sorts of sports and get made fun of for order beers, then go to Fat Tuesday. If you want to sit on the front porch and people watch, then go to Fat Tuesday. Or just don't go, I guess. Yeah, you're probably better off.

Wow!!! Ever heard of 7 Eleven? Of course, right? What about an ABC liquor store? Duh right? Okay great! Well they just had a baby and named her FAT TUESDAY!!! What a great place to enjoy an adult slurpee around some great company. I had the Super Man as well as the Mango Madness! They were outstanding! If you love Mangoes like I do get that one first! You won't regret it! This particular location size was above average. The venue location has gender specific restrooms and the front half of this venue is exposed to the outdoors which makes the actual venue feel a lot larger than it actually is.

It's crazy how you can spend so much money in an establishment and they be so rude! We went to Fat Tuesdays in Philly and the lad behind the counter was extra rude. She refused to turn the music on. One of the patrons was not happy with their drink, because she never had it before, and the lady did not accommodate. We asked if she could turn the music on and she said that they do not have music. I asked if it was too late and she just turned around and said "THE MUSIC DOESN'T WORK!". We were a party of 13 and everyone ordered a drink. I feel that we were not given courtesy. We were ignored. The lady behind the counter left and never said anything. My group were talking amongst each other and the lady turned the TV to full volume! She purposely did things ro push us out of the establishment. My group had come from a really nice dinner and decided to grab a drink. Totally unprofessional. #FatTuesdaysPhilly #SouthStreet

So after our friends did a lot of traveling I walk around the city in Philadelphia end it just so happens they had a FatTuesdays there plus I love fat Tuesdays because of their drinks. So this place is located right off the main road of where all the bars are at the place itself is pretty big with a little DJ booth located in the corner also this place serves food but only for a few hours for some reason. We came here in the daytime spoke quick stop but came back the next night after which the place was packed had great music good vibes and of course those drinks were delicious. FYI on busy nights there is a $10 cover charge for some reason but overall this place is worth coming to.

Fat Tuesday's - what can I say?? It's exactly as it sounds! Are you looking for a bar with frozen alcoholic drinks and a just OK atmosphere?? Then this is THE place for you! I myself am not a sweets person, so that could jade my opinion but, I just didn't love this place.... I think you have to really commit to the frozen, sweet drinks and then maybe this is the place for you. Let me add in that I did not eat any food there soo you should read other reviews for that perspective. PS. It smells like hot dogs in there. (But in a good way)

Terrible service. Just came in today to get a drink around 4pm! At first, I was so excited to see a Fat Tuesday because I love it at Vegas but the waitress that helped us today had terrible attitude. Learn to put a smile on when you have guests coming in...She also poured the drink in a way that wasn't mixed like they do at other locations, terrible presentation. Disappointed at this location.

I didn't like it here at all. There's not many good things I can say about Fat Tuesday's. It's overpriced and they charged a $5 cover charge to get in. It's located on South Street near 5th Street. I would suggest taking an Uber here unless you're very patient or get here early in the day because free parking is all but impossible to find late night. There's a parking lot across the street, on the other side of the buildings but charges $20 for two hours to park. I wouldn't suggest even taking a chance to park somewhere on or around South Street because they were constantly writing parking tickets and towing cars. Upon entering Fat Tuesday's, there were people gathered outside and there was a strong presence of weed as I walked in. I paid a $5 cover charge and entered. There wasn't a whole lot going on here. A lot of people sitting and standing around conversing with their friends. It's a big open room with TVs around the room on the walls with basketball on. I most likely won't be back.

Bar tender/Cashier was rude for no reason. I came in excited because it was my first time at a Fat Tuesday. I didn't know how to order & it not sure if that upset the employee (she is Caucasian with short hair). She made my drinks & I paid. I asked her if I could sit at any table & she nodded looking the other way. I still said thank you & gave her a tip. I just didn't need to be welcomed like that, she ruined my experience. Maybe I caught her on a bad day? I see there's a sign that says "help wanted" on the outside & maybe she's the only one working? (The bar was almost empty) Not sure but I hope she isn't like that with all customers. Not friendly whatsoever.

Due to its great location, and wonderful opportunity of "people watching" if you get a balcony seat, I will give this place two stars. If it wasn't for that, it would only get ONE from me. This place is dirty and expensive. The drinks are decent. The size of the place is decent too. I'd rather walk down to the Continental and be crushed by the crowd. The drinks are better. The crowd is better. The whole atmosphere blows this place away.

Highly disappointed in the customer service experienced yesterday night as well as tonight Aug 19th & 20th 2021 to be exact. We traveled out about two hours just to get turned away because either the workers decide when they want to close. Or the business just needs to update the closing time. The website as well as yelp mentions that this location closes at 1 am but arrived at 12 yesterday and got turned away and again today around the same time we went through it even worse. The worker not sure her name red head was so nasty to us. We walked in and I went to the bathroom, she was inside sweeping and looked at me with an attitude and said were closed with an attitude. I asked could I use the bathroom and she still declined. She walked us out and I said it's not fair to close early especially not knowing if people are traveling from a far distance. Fat Tuesdays is pretty well known and hard to find. I would work on this ASAP because this is a huge inconvenience. Driving from Brooklyn to Philly we could have honestly just went to AC & went to wet willies. I hope this problem is fixed soon so know one else experiences this, it's not a good feeling at all.

It was my first time and I wasn't impressed at all. The bartender was rude. Also wasn't very attentive. Doesn't serve in order either. We sat at the bar waiting to be noticed but she didn't, then served those that got there after us. I've been to many Fat Tuesday & this might've been the worst one yet.

Do not come here. Locals only. They will make You feel uncomfortable. And pretty much as nicely as possible "ask you to leave". I say I wait till the gentrification is complete. Then Maybe try this place.

I've been coming here for years, but I haven't paid cover in a long time. A few times, I've waited in line, but once they say there is a cover, I decline and just walk away. My greatest tip is that if they are charging a cover, it's too crowded and you should head anywhere else. We had a reservation in the area, so we decided to stop in and share a drink. We went with the candy bar and it was pretty good. Chocolate and vanilla vodka flavors with a shooter. On a Sunday night, it wasn't too crowded. We were able to grab a seat and just relax for a little bit. This place is great in the summer time during the day. Just sitting out by their front window with a nice cold slushy drink.

Hmm... Fat Tuesday. Where do I begin describing such an utter catastrophe of a bar? Let us begin. The bar is known for it's slushee-style drinks, which range from approximately $9 to $10. These slushees have the same amount of alcohol as the slushees you buy in the movie theater and are filled with sugar. Save your money. Fat Tuesday doesn't allow music recommendations. Meh, fine. I understand. But, despite being a 21+ establishment, often the DJ exclusively plays CLEAN tracks all night. Ruins the song and vibe. Wack. You can't open a tab. The line that you wait in for food/drinks reminds me of the one you wait in for McDonalds. Slow, rude service, and a complete lack of organization. The servers are often nice. But no tabs cause the line to be slow because the server has to constantly keep running a card and the customer has to sign a new receipt each time they buy a drink. Jfc. The owners of this place clearly don't know how to run a bar or they just don't trust their customers to have a good time. This bar has potential - it really does. But, there are some glaring business practices here that make my head twirl. My advice: go somewhere else for the night. There are plenty of better establishments on South Street and you get to save $5 from the cover charge. Or, go see this place for yourself. Do what I did: spend 45 minutes there with your friends and talk about how horrible this place is for the rest of the night. It's a good conversation topic.

Probably on the bottom of my list of Fat Tuesdays I've visited. The staff could have been more friendly. The drinks were the same as the other locations. This location wasnt as lively and fun as the other Fat Tuesdays.

The electric lemonade was so good! It definitely helped me cool off on the 99 degree day! Much needed!
