Maria Agnese Spagnuolo opened the first Gelateria Fatamorgana on via Lago Lesina in northern Rome and has since expanded to Prati, Monti, Trastevere, and most recently, Piazza Re di Roma. Unique ingredients incorporate liquors, herbs, and spices.
This is the good stuff. Dark Chocolate, Lemon, Raspberry, Mango. Intense and real. If we don't get any en route, we will be stopping by again tomorrow. A bench and a couple of chairs just outside the front door. 9 euros for a 3-scoop for each of us both.

The ice-cream flavours were really original and unique and they also tasted really amazing! They just tasted really fresh and homemade! The woman behind the counter was also really friendly

A lot of tasty gelato selections. The four of us ordered a total of eight flavors, they were all excellent.

Delicious and unique flavors. It will be hard to choose without trying since all the flavors are so different. The Venezuela chocolate tasted amazing!

We shared a cup with basil/walnut, mandorini/ricotta and some pistacchio flavor. This was the best gelato we've had ANYWHERE. Not exaggerating. The worst problem was that we had just eaten lunch and could not eat any more. Sorry no photos but I could not trust my husband to hold the gelato cup long enough to get a photo!

Really good gelato. The price is fair and they have lots of flavours. We had the pistachio and coffee and can highly recommend them both
