Fatburger & Buffalo's Express

My family and I heard about the vegan shakes and here and said, “Say less!” We aren’t vegan but we need dairy free, iykyk. The restaurants has fun 50’s vibe with the layout and decor. The indoor space is a bit small with maybe 3-4 tables and some counter seating. The outdoor patio does look much bigger so we’ll be back for the in the summer. The service was excellent. The young man at the counter was patient and made sure we go what we needed. We wait maybe 10 minutes at the very most and got our food brought to the tables. We ate in the restaurant to get the hottest food possible and it didn’t disappoint! I got the thousand island burger for that In n Out burger flavor from Cali with everything on it and it was DELICIOUS. The veggies on there were fresh, plenty of sauce, and the burger was crisp on the edges like a good smash burger. It was messy and gooey just like a good burger should be. This is not what I would call a gourmet burger, for that I would go to Five Guys, but this burger was excellent for that simple smash burger kind of flavor. The vegan chocolate shake was good, though I wish it was a bit creamier, but it’s hard to find a vegan shake in Chicago so I give it extra points for that. The skinny fries were perfectly crispy on the outside and soft inside. It was bit on the pricy side but we did get the vegan shakes which have an upcharge for some reason. All in all we’ll be back to try their chicken as well as another great burger, fries, and shake.

The restaurant was very clean and there was music plan which helped with my mood. The GM was very helpful as he explained everything as far as food and how long it would take for our food to be ready. There were two people there before my party came in and we still received our food in the exact time that he said, we should expect it. The food was delicious, it was well seasoned just so much flavor. I really enjoyed my food and the entire atmosphere that I noticed. I was dancing while I was eating. My shoulders just could not stop. I was in the mood. I will definitely be back

Awesome. What a experience to try the XXXL. Not for the challenge but for the love of a good (Fat) burger... My son did the challenge and concord it within the 15 minutes... 🫡. The service was top notch... 💯. The atmosphere was nice. My only complaint would be the hard seating on the inside. That just means get your food, eat your food, then go home... 😋. I shall return... #FatBoyGottaEat lol

I recently ordered a burger from Fatburger, and I was very disappointed with the quality and presentation. The tomato slices were thick, uneven, and not fresh, and the vegetables were thrown together very messily. The sandwich looked sloppy and unappetizing, as you can see in the attached pictures.

Delicioussssss! A bit pricey for the demographic in the area but well worth the price!!!!!! Food is cooked to order! Not like McD's! You have to wait for greatness. I got a large cheese burger, onion rings and a cookies and cream shake. For the meal I added a shake for $4. So my meal was about $20. I went through the drive thru and my customer service was stellar!!! My cheeseburger was massive and seasoned well! Happy that they don't add ketchup cause I hate it!!! My onion rings were fried with a light batter, lightly salted and just delightfully delicious! My shake was made with real ice cream. I really enjoyed Fat Burger!!!! Everything was hot and fresh made with quality ingredients! Very reminiscent of Top Notch but with a drive through! I highly recommend!!!!!

What can I say about a place that has so much energy. It was very welcoming atmosphere, music, and staff were all wonderful. I ordered the XXL Fat Burger (1½ pounds) this hamburger was one extremely juicy burger. Onion rings were good. I chose the skinny French fries. Which they were a little on the cold side. But over all this place is really good. Keep up the great work.

I haven't gotten my food yet but I've been in the drive thru for 50 minutes and I can't get out! It's after midnight and each order is taking over 10 minutes. Just 5 cars ahead of me and I've been here this long? Staff is having conversations that I can hear through the intercom and as slow as they are they should probably talk less and maybe move faster. First and last time coming here. Edit: I came home and ate the Impossible burger. I'm almost done and I feel what I think is a hair and it is. I pull out of my mouth a long hair which was obviously cooked into the meat because as you can see from the photos, it's literally attached to the food.

From the time I walked through the door. I was literally greeted by the whole staff. When I say great customer service. The breakdown of things as far as what would be great to try for first timers were great suggestions. I really enjoyed myself while waiting for my food. The atmosphere will definitely have me coming back. I’m excited to see something with so much energy in the neighborhood. 😊😎💯
