This adorable diner has the friendliest staff and an assortment of delicious food! Everything was cooked fresh and portions were well labeled and plentiful for the price. (It's similar to an In and Out style but with a better selection and more satisfying.) I haven't tried other locations but this one for sure is a win! ☺️

Nostalgia is here but with a new paint job (on the outside). I ordered the King Burger (why order anything smaller?) and added cheese and bacon. The patty was juicy, seasoned and slightly smashed. I could go with more bacon than they gave but it was a solid burger. No new school buns here, keeping it old school, although this is a beefy 9.2/10 burger. I ordered the fat fries as the skinny fries taste like they are from a grocery store. I did half order with onion rings. First time doing this, will do it from now on. The fries are not very crispy on the outside but they are firm and soft on the inside. For crispier fries go with skinny fries. Fries I would give 6.7/10. The onion rings lacked batter flavor but had a solid crispiness and a sweater onion flavor. I give a 7.3/10. The store was clean and the employees are the best. My son ordered the smaller burger by accident, we asked to pay the difference and get a new king burger and they agreed. They didn't have to but that's good customer service. Drinks options are mid, they have Pepsi items. Would go back but it is expensive. $25 for what's shown.

I've been coming to this fatburger locations for decades Its the best location hands down! The food always taste great! The gentleman on the front counter taking orders is very polite and always greats you with a smile regardless how busy the restaurant is. He hustles and cleans the tables and organizes the fountain drink section hes all over the place. I have other fat burgers closer to me since i live by the los angeles airport. But i always love to drive out to buena park for a great burger. It never fails! Tuesday they have a special buy one original meal burger get a 2nd burger free! Cant beat that with a baseball bat! I hope this location never closes. Amazing burgers 🍔 😋

Best location ever! The food is fresh and perfectly cooked & seasoned. The employees are very professional and well mannered. The restaurant was very clean and well stocked with supplies. I am so happy we stopped by instead of eating inside the mall. I feel like dancing, they even got my chocolate banana shake right! Check them out.

The burger here was good. If you like a fully loaded burger this is the place for you; however, if you do not it is best to take toppings off. They offer two types of fries 🍟, thick cut and regular cut. I got the thick cut fries. They were good, but needed to be more crispy. Overall it was really good.

This place has been around for years but I just recently decided to try out the burgers. I went on a Tuesday and was told while I was ordering that the combo special gets an extra burger on Tuesdays until 6/30/25. Well, yes! Definitely took that offer. When I got my order I went straight to my car. Since it was so late already to have lunch, I opened up the burger that was wrapped so nicely and was very impressed to see that the burger patty was actually thicker than what I expected. The burger is like the size of a I&O double double if you compare the size. Definitely as filling as that. And the fries were fat! Cut a different way than usual fat fries! I was amazed, fries alone can fill you up. Definitely a good choice to grab a burger when I&O is a distance from you. Final words, try this place out and support small businesses like this because quality of food is great. Also support small businesses because they support the community. Delicious burgers. I came here when I was high on marijuana. It is right next to Knott's Berry Farm. Workers were friendly and the store was very clean. Didn't take very long to get my food.

After work visit on Wednesday To go order 2 classic burgers w/cheese, Phat fry + Skinny fry , 1 drink & cup of chili! Pass on the chili - Dining in is your best bet to enjoy a fresh off the grill burger because I despise cold food & my fries stale! Not busy when I showed up, only 1 person dining in.

First of all the best service ever! Being able to go in there and be welcomed late at night or even early in the morning is the best! The food even better craving a juicy warm burger with a side of fries, hits the spot. The place is very clean and well taken care of! Will be going back every time!

Amazing chili cheese fries, not to mention their chili cheese onion rings topped with grilled onions and of course their faboulous fresh cooked hamburgers. Been delighted since 2000 with this amazing burger name.

The quality is finally back @ Buena Park Fatburger! I have been a regular customer (2-4 times a week) for many years. A couple years ago I noticed a lot of changes taking place. This was a good thing when it came to the actual building, but then not long after, the changes began with the food. Smaller portions, burger meat changed, "minute maid" type lemonade....... It was a very sad day for me when I realized I couldn't eat at my beloved Fatburger any more. Fast forward to today. Apparently the establishment has been sold to a new owner who has returned the quality! It was a huge surprise after not eating here for over a year and discovering Fatburger was BACK! A 54 years old, I have lost so many places that I used to enjoy eating at, so I am so happy to report that I can now happily return to Fatburger in Buena Park weekly!

Really nice service and people. We stopped by after going to Knotts Soak City and ordered a crispy chicken sandwich and kind burger. Everything was made perfect. The cookies are delish.

Fat burger has always been great quality. My kids also love their food. Easily one of my top 3 Burger chains in California I recently had an issue with an order and come in to complain. The manager listened and was understanding of my complaint. Remade my delicious burger.and compensated me for the French fries as requested. Big thanks to the staff

We decided to do Fatburger after messing around at Knotts. I got a Thousand Island burger with lettuce and tomato. My girl wanted the same, and it was ok. Some reason Fatburger is lacking in flavor now. It might just be certain locations I hope. Burger is really bland and lack of seasoning. I thought the thousand Island one would be better. Not sure If I'll be coming back to any Fatburger locations.

These are some of the best burgers money can buy. The flavor on these is something you can't get anywhere else. These are usually a late night eat for me but this very last time was with my son. They were busy for a Friday evening. Went in and ordered our usual, King burger with everything sans pickles. This is what you should be getting here (keeping the pickles if you like them). The flavor profile that the mustard and the relish gives this burger is like something else. I don't get people complaining that there's no flavor. Did you get it plain? Burgers are always juicy and cooked perfectly. The fat fries are my go to side here but don't forget the onion rings if you're eating with someone else. There will be enough fries to share and might as well get onion rings too. Everything is just the same as when I was a kid. So glad to know there's a place you can go to and will never disappoint.

Ordered via Uber after a very long day in the Disney parks. The banana shake is the only reason I'm giving two stars. The burger patties have zero flavor and the only reason the western was a little enjoyable is cause of the bacon and bbq sauce that made up for the lack of flavor. We got onion rings which were bland and had zero flavor or seasoning and fat fries that weren't salted or fresh. You could tell they were sitting for awhile. Very unimpressed.

Service was good. Food was straight-up great! Ambiance was ok, nothing special. As an official cheapskate; it's almost unimaginable I didn't give fewer stars, with it costing TWENTY-FIVE BUCKS for one person, nothing but burger, fry, soda! Even though it's just a burger joint, however: believe it or not, I'd still consider getting a gang of folks together and splurging on an outing there due to how big and spectacular the cheeseburger was that I had. One other thing that would be nice, would be if they upgraded to a more high-caliber beverage station

A place with friendly staff and great burgers! Definitely recommend the King Burger which comes with a thick 1/2 patty. The portion of the Fat Fries may seem small to some but trust me when I say that once your done eating them, they fill you up. What's interesting is that they have a wall dedicated to photos of those that have beaten the XXXL Triple King Burger Challenge. Will go here again

Fatburger is my favorite California burger. I'm sad that this is the only OC location, it's almost 10 miles away. But when we go it's always delicious! The meat and relish make the difference. Skinny or fat fries and lemonade!

First time here and I'm beyond blessed for Ashrakat ( beautiful cashier ) to help me decided what I should order. She sold me the banana shake with a little mix of strawberry! Oh my soooo delicious ! The turkey burger is sooooooo delicious thank you Ashrakat for the recommendation l! It's very juicy and it's not dry like some places. My biggest reason why I'm posting this review is because of Ashrakat she made my night enjoyable and wanting to come back again! And also the rest of the staff are so nice and attentive!

Fatburger is -so- good. So good. I have good memories of Fatburger from when I lived in Pasadena. Me and my best friend would cruse down to the Beverly Center, check out a game store that was nearby, and then hit Fatburger for a Fatburger, Fatfries, and a chocolate shake. I really wanted to eat at Fatburger and I found this one near Knott's Berry Farm on our way back from a family trip. It was in the process of getting painted on the outside, so they're working on maintenance, which is a good sign. Inside, the menu got more complicated than it used to be in my memory. Not a bad thing, really, but there are a lot of side options and several versions of the Fatburger. I misjudged completely and ordered a Fatburger with a pound and a half of meat. I also got chili cheese fries. Whoops. That was -way- -way- -WAY- too much. But damn, it was good. My two children ate their regular sized burger and had their choice of toppings, and devoured their fries. The restaurant itself was clean, the bathroom was clean, and the young lady behind the register knew what she was doing and was quick and efficient, although a little abrupt with tapping signs to show what options were. I can't really blame her too much for that though; she's working at a burger joint near an amusement park that caters to tourists from out of the area. It has to get old explaining what the multiple side options are when there's literally a sign right in front of you. I was able to laugh it off, but I was looking to enjoy myself at this place. Anyways, the burgers were good, but dear lord; the prices were insane. For three of us to eat (including my super huge burger...seriously, guys, that was way too much and I'm an idiot for ordering it), it was still over SEVENTY DOLLARS for burgers. Four of us ate at a sit down service restaurant in Pasadena later that day for less than that. We even ordered two drinks from the bar. So the price at Fatburger is absolutely incredible. It's disappointing, because I'd highly recommend the place, and the food is great, and it's served well, and there's a lot of it, but the price is just incredible. Twenty four dollars for a burger combo is steakhouse prices. So be warned before you go...this is more of a monetary commitment than your typical fast food joint.

When was the turkey burger changed from a real ground meat patty to a processed meat patty? It's been many years since I've been there. I don't mind spending money on good food, but $25+ for a crappy turkey burger, fries and a shake? The only good thing was my shake. I sat there eating my food looking at Lovey's picture thinking "if she were here, this wouldn't happen". Very disappointed and will not return.

I was really looking forward to try this place, especially the thick fries (fat fries). I was let down the burger Pattie's were not seasoned and bland, so were the fries no salt on them what so ever. I also wanted to try the chilli fries and not even with the chili on the fries did it give it any flavor l. The service was good just wished the food was too

But, dont take my word for it.... you need to come down here and taste it for yourself. PERSONAL EXPERIENCE: I have eaten at this Fatburger location no fewer than 6 times and Being a Pollopescatarian (one who eats chicken and fish) their turkey burger is the most delicious one I have found... FATBURGER TIP: The fat fries stay hot way longer than the skinny fries. This is a helpful tip if you are doing take out and have to drive 10 to 15 minutes to get to your destination. END GAME: From one time locations in Florida to one in a casino in Arizona to locations all over Southern California, this franchise remains my favorite burger chain. Like I said, come try it for yourself.

Awesome service, food and staff. Location is dirty and they don't clean tables out side in order for their customers to enjoy food. I recommend but get your food and eat elsewhere.

Came in during COVID times. Got a custom fat burger fat fries and a drink. Also got 2 other meals including chili cheese fries and a shake. The burger was alright. Not super juicy but has a charbroiled kind of taste. Reminded me of Burger King. The fat fries were hot but too soft. They needed more crunch. The chili in the fries taste like it was Hormel from the can. There was not enough cheese on the fries. The banana milkshake was good. Over all 3 meals for like $55 was way to expensive for the taste.

Ordered to go: western bacon with fat fries...it had been a very long time since I had been to a Fat Burger and I will be visiting this one as often as possible. Nice juicy patties and ingredients makes the burger burst with flavor! Plus the fat fries are super addicting! Paired with an Arnold Palmer you can make yourself at the drink fountain and ready, set and happily dig in! I had forgotten how DELICIOUS these burgers are. Only down side, the bread kind of fell apart a little bit when I got back to my place to eat, probably from the BBQ sauce seeping into the buns but nonetheless, I was VERY satisfied with my meal. The staff is super friendly and I love how they cook your food to order, the way it SHOULD BE! The restaurant is super clean and I'll more than likely dine in. Can't wait to go back!

They get three stars because the staff is nice. 1.5 stars for the cuisine itself. The food is fine. I don't have any criticism, but it also really isn't extraordinary or special. It doesn't warrant the laughable prices. I had the Impossible burger with added cheese. The additional $1.25 for a single slice of cheese is a lot to me, even if it's vegan. I also had the vegan banana milkshake. I was told it came with vegan whipped cream, but it was served without whip because it wasn't in stock. There was no discount for this, and I wasn't informed till after paying, and no discount or perk was offered to make up for it. And this shake was over $13 after taxes. Thirteen. For a milkshake. A vegan milkshake, sure. But come on. There wasn't even whipped cream. Overall, prices are steep. Really freaking steep. And the quality is kind of mediocre, not special in any way. I'd prefer Nice Guys in the future for a similar vibe with more vegan options and lower prices. Or Carl's Jr., which has its own respectable Impossible burger, again for less money.

Just moved here from the east coast. And it was my first time having Fatburger in 10 years when I had it in Vegas for my friend's bachelor party. With that said I don't remember it being this good. I ordered a half pound burger with bacon and ameican cheese online for pickup. When I arrived I was greeted by Oscar. The ETA for the order was still 10 minutes away but Oscar said it would only be a couple of minutes. Oscar made the experience much better. He was polite, friendly, and attentive. The burger itself came out about 3 minutes later. It was hot, fresh, and juicy. Not to mention huge. It filled me up more than a In-N-Out 3x3. While I like both, I thought fatburger was the better burger when you feel like you want a heavier burger. Something more robust with bacon. With that said I will be heading back in the future for sure.

If you like to pay for overpriced food, this is the place for you. Not worth coming, Id rather go to McDonalds than come here ever again , and the whole family agrees, my son loves happy meals from McDonald's, but when he revived he's overpriced kids meal , he was really disappointed in what he received and so was I. Never coming here again. Don't recommend. Don't waste your money

The young lady who rang up our purchase was friendly and asked all the right questions regarding our needs. The store was clean and neat. But the food could have been hotter. I'm not sure why it wasn't. Maybe that part was me. But everything was still warm so can't ask for more than that. I had only ordered from this one through Uber so was glad now that COVID has let up to finally be able to go in person. Will definitely be back.

Burgers were really great. I'm writing a 5 star review really because I saw one of the most exceptional customer service I've ever seen from a teenager. Samir was the kid who I saw did a fantastic job servicing customers. I think he's barely legal to work and yet he provided service like he was the manager. He asked me if I was ok multiple times and asked if I wanted any other sauces. I saw him wiping the floors when he did not have to. Another table's order was messed up and he made sure the order was corrected right away. He did whatever he could to make other customers happy. Great job Samir.

Loved the customer service ,everybody there is so nice ,they made sure that we are comfortable .The food is very well seasoned and tasty and would definitely recommend the onion rings and shakes specially the banana shake.The ambience is nice and cool and family friendly.

Solid spot for anyone looking for something more than your regular fast food burger. This has been a go-to joint for my family for many years and has a throwback interior theme (circa 1960?), jukebox included. The burgers themselves are quite unique, overall quite good. They come in several different sizes, ranging from medium to XXXL (I think there even used to be a "baby fat" size, which was smaller than medium). It's hard to describe them, but I would characterize them as being somewhere between a traditional greasy fast food burger and some of the gourmet burgers you might find at like a Five Guys or Umami Burger. They are also known for their fat fries, which are basically like steak fries--and they go quite well with ranch or ketchup.
