"One of the few dine-in halal Chinese restaurants in NYC (and one that’s been super popular for years), Fatima’s is delicious, the portions are generous, and the food is always fulfilling. The menu ranges from various types of chicken/beef/seafood dishes, along with noodles or rice, chef’s specials, and dinner specials. There’s no real way to go wrong here, but their orange chicken is one of our favorites. It has the perfect balance of spice with a hint of orange zest. If you are in the mood for something sweet and savory, the sesame chicken cooked in the chef’s special sauce is also one of our go-to options. But if you’re looking for something less traditional to end your meal, order some classic fried chicken, which is juicy, crisp, and tender - assuming there’s still room both on your table and in your stomach. Unlike many other fast-food Chinese restaurants, Fatima’s is very spacious, which is another good reason to break your fast with family and friends here during Ramadan." - Jiniya Azad, Tahirah Baksh, Sameen Choudhry

Update: really economical lunch special. Most dishes are around $8. Less busy and i would go again for lunch rather than dinner for the reasons stated below. Previous: Had heard a lot about this restaurant and its quality of food but was an average experience. Wait was approx 40 mins. The place is small and very crowded. Service is super fast and staff is accommodating. We ordered fried dumplings, chicken lo mein, sesame chicken, Hunan chicken, chicken corn soup and hot and sour soup. Hunan chicken was very good and flavorful. Soup and dumplings were also good. However sesame chicken although crunchy and sauce tasted good but was all batter and hardly any chicken. Lo mein had no vegetables and could have been better. Probably won't be going again unless I am in the area due to distance and wait.

Food is absolutely delicious, I've never been a huge fan of Chinese food but this place may have changed my mind. The food is very affordable especially the dinner menu. The place was clean and the chairs comfortable. Service-wise the waitress was courteous, helpful and kind and responded politely and quickly to inquiries and requests. I definitely will go here again.

The food was good. We took a plater for 4. Forgot to take the picture of crispy shrimp fry and fried rice and soup. The quantity and quality was good except the fried rice. The amount of rice was not sufficient for 4 persons.

Love the food! It’s Chinese food but halal and NO MSG! Perfect for Asian food lovers who love to have halal food. We tried General Tso’s chicken, honey chicken, beef Szechuan, veggie rolls, hot and sour soup, and sesame chicken plus ma po tofu. Love them all! But the resto is sooo busy. They don’t really have big space but enough for around 40 people. I usually do the order and pick up. Much better and faster as well.

Hands down my favorite Chinese take out spot in NYC. I live in Brooklyn but my wife and I have taken the over and hour hike on the train numerous times just cause we were craving it (once it was 3 times in one week 😅) The beef lo mein and chicken with broccoli in garlic sauce is our go to 👌🏽👌🏽😭
