"Fatsquatch, formerly on SE Belmont, specializes in vegan fried food and will be on hiatus through most of 2020. Chef Tom Fuller will experiment with mushroom-focused recipes under the name Earth Tone, including dishes like vegan fish and chips made with oyster mushrooms, mushroom stroganoff, and spicy vodka sauce over mushrooms." - Teresa Bergen

This was part of a fun vegan food pod. I was excited about the type of food there: fried/crunchy looking southern-ish food. Unfortunately the 'chicken' was a little strange for vegan chicken but super crunchy! I asked and they get their vegan chicken from a supplier so maybe if they switch suppliers it will be better. The vegan cheese grits were pretty good. The spiraled potato chips as well as the spiraled sweet potatoes were good, sweet potato more than regular. The loaded spiraled potato chips were really good. A friend (who is gluten free) had the loaded onion rings and even though they were pretty good found they were really oily. Our food took a really long time, as it was the more popular of the food trucks, but there was only one person cooking... So that could potentially be improved.

The absolutely BEST vegan food I had while visiting Portland. My pictures don’t do the food justice lol but the jalapeño poppers were excellent: super crispy, clean and fresh (if that makes sense). Not oily at all! You can tell they pour their food heart into this menu. It’s absolutely excellent. I also tried the cheese sticks. Delicious as well! I wish I had more time to explore the other trucks. This one is tucked behind 2 other trucks. You’ll miss it driving by. Just park and walk to where maps tells you to. It’s next to a Thai restaurant. It’s a mini truck food park. Herbivore (a vegan shop) recommended this truck so kudos to them! I can’t say enough. Excellent. Well done comfort food!

The loaded onion rings (vegan) were absolutely incredible! My best friend is slowly but surely converting me and this may have sent me over the edge! This food truck has got a great thing going!

Food was perfect, one of the best wraps I've ever had! Were visiting the area and needed to find vegan cuisine, they were highly recommended by a friend and after the fact, I can see why! We got the Ozark Wrap and sweet potato fries. Portions were very hearty.

Amazing vegan cart food! Their food has always blown me away, always delicious. They sometimes have specials posted on their social media, always keep an eye out because they know how to satisfy that craving. Staff has always been friendly and willing to give recommendations

A lot of vegan spots in this town phone it in, make a couple of good dishes and sit back and rest on their laurels, but fatsquatch isn't one of them. Everything on their menu is killer, but beyond that every week they have a special, often some really high-guy stoney baloney stuff, and I mean that in the best way, lots of sauce, lots of flavor, usually fried. The best specials tend to get repeated for the poor souls who missed them. On top of all that, I can count the number of vegan spots where a single entree fills me up until my next meal without snacks on a single hand, and this is one of them. Sometimes I even have leftovers which is basically unheard of but appreciated.

Good quality vegan gut bomb food. Flavors were solid, fried food extra crispy, and the potato salad was legit.

I can't really express in words how good the food is here. I've been so content with everything I've tried. My favorite is the Squatchy box which has the drumsticks in it. All the sides are good but I'm partial to the potato salad. If I lived closer I'd be eating here every day.
