Fatto a Mano Bethnal Green

I travel the world sampling local and heritage cuisine. This is a great little spot under the train tracks in Bethal Green. A low rumble of the train crossing overhead mixed with the quiet mix of eclectic music all awhile gazing into the open kitchen creates a quaint and lively atmosphere. All of this before the dough is freshly made and tossed just before being married with the toppings of menu proven pies or whatever your hearts desires. The house pies are artisan crafted by expert peal shiffflers. The wait staf is attentive (which is rare in London) and very accommodating. Do not sleep on or pass on “Fatto A Mano”. I will be attempting to recreate their pies!!! Come get some -Str8

Thank you so much for a beautiful lunch. My best friend and I came here with our small babies after visiting the Young V&A. We were made to feel so welcome on arrival, and the staff were so friendly and attentive. They helped us with high chairs, even cut our pizzas into slices so we could eat one handed with our babies! The pizzas were delicious - everything about our meal was excellent. I’d been worried about finding somewhere nice to eat after visiting the Young V&A, but now I know we can sit down for fab pizza right around the corner. Huge thanks!

It never disappoints, interesting winter specials at £19, big cornicione, thin base, pizza is larger than at other chains. Good fried lasagna bites too. Prices slightly above average but reflecting generous portions.

My boyfriend and I have been several times eating in Fatto a Mano in Bethnal Green and it was great every time we went! The food is amazing and the staff is wonderful, specially Amanda and Jess who were very kind and helpful all the time. We also have a treat from a promotion/prize! Thank you and see you soon!

A fabulous pizza restaurant with outdoor and indoor seating. It was lovely to enjoy the late afternoon light. The pizzas were amazing, the chewiness of the crust is stunning and the toppings were flavourful and juicy. I loved the ‘njuda pizza, it had the perfect amount of heat. I found the desserts less notable than the pizzas.

Excellent pizza - the dough was spectacular and the pizza ingredients were fresh and rich in flavour. The reviews definitely are true - this place has some excellent pizza. Highly recommend. Everyone was very happy campers and all smiles. Also, the service and assistance with children is wonderful. Really endearing staff. Thanks - we will be back 😊

Brilliant new local place. Such amazing vegan pizzas (and garlic fries), great drinks and lovely pizzas and dips. Highly recommended and our servers (one was called Ayeesha and the other was a lovely and tall person) were amazing.

The special Ti Amo Napoli is one of the most disgusting pizzas I’ve ever eaten. It has an extremely sharp taste most likely from the green sauce that makes it inedible. However what made this one of my worst culinary experiences was the two long brown hairs in two of the slices. See photos, absolutely disgusting, will never be ordering from here again.
