This rustic goat farm is a hidden gem for cheese lovers! We had a personal tour and tasting with Alessandra, the passionate cheesemaker behind it all. The cheeses were incredible—from fresh to a year-aged, each one packed with flavor. We especially loved the ash-ripened and the bold year-old variety. It was amazing to taste how the same cheese evolves over time. The surprise star? The fresh goat yogurt with red-peach jam. Creamy, tangy, and unlike anything we’ve had before. The jam was the perfect sweet finish. If you’re into strong cheeses, authentic farms, and real craftsmanship, don’t miss this place! I highly recommend them.

Our family visited this working goat farm for a tour/tasting, and it was absolutely a highlight of our entire Italy vacation. Emanuele and Alessandra were fantastic hosts and welcomed us to their farm with open arms. We felt, if only for a couple of hours, like part of their family. The goats, horses, and dogs were so very friendly and a joy to interact with. Oh, and the cheese they produce is FANTASTIC! Do not miss this wonderful farm if you are near Orvieto!

Our Civita airbnb host suggested and helped us arrange a goat cheese tasting with Alessandra and her husband. We are so glad we did! It was fun to see the farm: the goats, Cinderella the donkey, the chickens, the dogs and the rest. You can tell they love the animals and the animals are happy. The farm is self sustaining, with the organic goat feed raised right on their property. The cheese tasting included bread and a local wine and made a filling meal. We sampled 12 or 13 types of cheese and yogurt and bought several. We highly recommend both the cheese and the “tasting” experience.

While researching for our vacation in Tuscany and Umbria we stumbled across this incredible looking farm online. There wasn't much information ,but the photos of the their incredible cheese drew us in and we had to find them. We drove for hours from Firenze, down dusty roads. We thought we were lost , even worse what would happen if we popped a tire? Well, we made it! and man was it ever worth the journey. The family was warm and inviting. We spent time there meeting their family, goats and horses. The cheese was next level! we bought more than we could eat. Who could refuse!
