Fausto's Mexican Grill

Went to Fausto's during business hours - the door was locked. Nothing was posted to let the public know what was going on. This was the third time this has happened since the beginning of 2024. I peeked through the stacked cups that they use to block the view of the kitchen from the outside. Two people were busy doing things. I knocked out the door, no response. If Fausto's Mexican Grill wants or needs to make a change to their business hours they should post it and give a reason. Perhaps we will understand and be compassionate. BUT IF Fausto's CONTINUES TO IGNORE THEIR CUSTOMERS' NEEDS THEY MAY FIND OUT THERE NO CUSTOMERS TO IGNORE. After all, we took the time to visit their store, made plans, and made the arrangements for the order. When they are not open during their business hours WE have to make other arrangements. What if they had a problem that required action from the police and 911 said 'We're kinda busy right now could you call back later, or maybe you could seek help from a private security firm.'? Would Fausto's feel upset, left out, or under-served? I think we all know the answer. BTW, the food is good when you can get them to open the door.

Affordable and delicious! I highly recommend the street tacos combo 👍🏼 The fountain drink selection was left with more to be desired, a nitpick nonetheless.

From the moment you enter the guy at register was amazing and knew the menu. The food was fresh and tasted amazing. Salsas are always fresh and area clean.

Mucho delicious. Great tacos and prices. I was surprised when they served up full size tacos. I was expecting the street taco size. I have to admit I like this place better than tacos el gordo. I ordered an asada and alpastor.

The Fausto's in Henderson near Foothill College is GREAT! The one in Henderson on Stefanie St. is OK but meat is not as tender as the Foothill College Fausto's. This one, The Enchiladas were packed with meat 2x the other locations. Nothing but MEAT TASTE. No Red or Green Peppers. Obviously, the taste was a bit overbearing. The other locations were a LOT better. As a Chain, I would expect more consistence between locations. I can't eat here because it's too much meat and no flavor. The taste doesn't compare to the other 2 locations. They should bring someone from the Foothills location and show them how it's supposed to be done. I have to toss this order and find something else for dinner. Too Bad.

Great food. Fresh and made to order. Staff is absolutely amazing and the restaurant is always clean.

Tried the Carne Asada Plate here and the food was good however the guacamole was not thick as it should be, had more of a sauce consistency than of guacamole. The portions were definitely better than other places around. The staff is really nice and fast!

This is a good Fausto's location, though some things are definitely different from the others. They really load up the burritos and their green sauce is crisper and more cilantro'd than the green sauce at other Fausto's, while their red sauce is more habanero-like than the cayenne-like red sauce at other locations. Staff is friendly and fairly quick (they and Silverado are the nicest Fausto's staff). Space is all bigger tables, and not too many of them compared to other Fausto's, though while they get a few people all the time I've never seen it packed. Parking is a bit cramped, sometimes with a lot available and sometimes totally packed. The lot is easier to get to on Rainbow, though if you're careful and willing to crawl through you can get to it from the north entry on Robindale (be warned: it's a tight maze and cars/pedestrians seem to come out of nowhere a lot, so you need to go slow). It is hard to get out on Rainbow if you want to go north, but again if willing to snake through the lot to get to Robindale it's easier to get north from there.

Unfortunately the chicken tacos are no longer any good. The chicken used to be fresh white chicken meat that was shredded. I really, really enjoyed them especially on $1 Tuesdays. Now the meat is mushy in texture, and has an off-putting taste and flavor to it -- almost as if it was old, leftover meat. It was so bad that I had to throw out the rest of the food. Very disappointing, to say the least. I don't know if it was a cost cutting measure or what, but I will no longer come here as there plenty of other nearby spots in town for Mexican food.

This for sure is my go to spot for mexican food on the southwest side of Vegas! It may appear like a hole in the wall kind of place on the outside, but don't judge a book by the cover because the food and service are top notch. I have stopped by for lunch/dinner on many occasions and have tried different items and the quality has never let me down everything from carne asada fries, california burrito, tacos, and rolled tacos. Most of the time I usually take my food to go, but the wait is never bad. They do have a few tables there if you want to sit and eat in. They also have self service soda are and a salsa bar and pickled veggies which are the bomb. If you want horchata, they have that too just get ice from the machine and they will fill your cup. There's plenty of parking in the front. When I went on a weekday afternoon around 2pm, I ordered some chicken rolled tacos with a combo, came with 3 tacos with guacamole and cheese as well as beans and rice. I drank a soda while waiting and was in and out in 15 minutes. The guy at counter was fast and asked if I wanted red and green sauce which both complemented my meal nicely. Definitely recommend go try it too! .

Wow, talk about a hidden hole in the wall. Located in a busy plaza consisted of mostly Asian food & beverages...this spot can def be missed. Very extensive menu...you got your usual delicious street tacos, burritos, pozole, enchiladas and a plethora of combination plates you can choose from. They also got carne asada fries!!! (or any other meat of your choice). The daily specials is what initially drew us. Came here on a Wednesday evening and their special was three rolled chicken tacos w/guac & cheese for only $2.50!!!!! In this economy, you cannot beat this price. It was delicious, fresh and portion was sufficient to get you full. Be sure to check out their salsas. Three different kinds and my fav was the red one. IT'S SPICYYYYYY!!!!!! It's not super like the orange habanero one. I'm a spicy kinda gal and this red one had a good kick to it. There's a green salsa for the mild folks. Can't wait to try their street tacos and asada fries. We will def be back!

Absolutely fantastic food. Can't say I have ever had a bad experience in the years of coming here. It had been awhile since I had last eaten here so I had to stop by a few days ago to remind myself of why I like it so much. I wound up getting a Super Burrito with an added side of beans and rice (because I felt like a pig that day) and the experience was as good as ever. The beans and rice were fresh and flavorable and just look at the size of this burrito! Absolutely packed with ingredianta and quite delicious. If you're a fan of places like Roberto's, I would highly suggest stopping here and giving it a try. And then trading those other options for this one as you will probably more than likely love the experience.

Save your money and go elsewhere. Vegas has too many taco shops to settle for bad food. First off it's always a warning Sign when your food is ready 5 mins after you order it. The carne asada street tacos lacked flavor and the meat tasted reheated. The carnitas had a off smell and they were dry and also tasted reheated. Another point I have never seen carnitas look the way they did. The only positive thing was the rice and beans were not bad

Was looking for a catering place for our house party, and found this place close to me and didn't regret. Call them and ask about all the option. The lady over the phone explained everything. We got a plate of steak (it was plain steak I wish I did the one with vegetable), shrimp, beans and rice all was fajita style. It came with complimentary tortillas and red and greed sauce. We order guacamole on the side (it was more like liquid style guacamole more like salsa verde, I expected more like regular guacamole but it was ok). It also came with a bunch of limes and pickled carrots and peppers. Food was very tasty i only took a picture of leftovers. They should also have catering menu somewhere on the Yelp so people know there is a catering options.

I was pretty disappointed in this place. I ordered 3 rolled beef tacos and my boyfriend ordered 1 bacon breakfast burrito and 2 carne asada breakfast burritos. The guy taking our order repeated it back to us to confirm everything was correct, which it was. When he told us the total, it seemed a bit high but we just shrugged it off. We took our order to go. When we got back to our house, it turns out they actually charged and gave us 4 breakfast burritos and 5 rolled beef tacos, which the math adds up there. Unfortunately, my rolled tacos were all burnt, so I took a few nibbles and tossed it. The breakfast burritos were pretty standard though. While we were waiting for our order, I noticed all the tables were falling apart. I understand this isn't a fancy restaurant, but it wasn't a pleasant experience. I don't think I'll be back. There are plenty of Roberto's or Don Chuys around town.

Food: The BEST bean and cheese burrito I've ever had. I crave it almost every week. I always get it with a chicken taco and 5 beef taquitos and they rarely disappoint. I also want a giant container of their red salsa because it's the best! Service: My husband picks up our food and says every time how nice everyone is. They never mind that I always need a ton of their red salsa with my order. I love this place!

Great food. Wow, are their portions big! I got a lengua burrito, to go. Whoa!! I got the makings of the burrito and 3 enormous, 12" tortillas. Yum yum yum! The food quality was great, in addition to the portions. I had enough to make 4 burritos. So good!

I have been eating Faustos several times a week for 25+ years. Prior to that, I was eating at Roberto's. I still go back-and-forth depending on convenience and location. Hands down, Fausto's is the best! The best one I have found is on Eastern and Horizon Ridge in Henderson. I've been going to that location since they opened about 24 years ago. Jose and Crystal are the owners. Jose was working there as a teenager when I first started going there. Super clean, great service... can't think of any downsides.

So happy this place is near my home, i've tried their burritos, menudo, and nachos. All really good! Their menudo has a good taste and their nachos always has good amount of meat in them. Definitely an awesome place for Mexican food in the neighborhood!

Usually don't come to this location but happened to be in the area. The menu is pretty much the same as all the other locations, however the menu prices are different. This location is actually more expensive than the other two locations I have been to. When I ordered and saw the total I asked the guy wow why so expensive it's not that expensive at the other locations and he kind of just shrugged like oh idk. At least now I know this location in price is different.

We come here all the time! I've so many pictures of their delicious food on my phone and I'm now uploading everything so far! Got the Original burrito back then, Carne Asada burrito, 6 rolled tacos with cheese and guacamole, bean tostada and cheese enchilada plate with rice and beans and finally their menudo! All tasted great and never disappoint. So good! Love this place! More pictures to upload! :)

Solid restaurant if you're looking for standard homey Mexican food. Prices are reasonable given the portions. It's been ages since I ate a hard shell taco but their chicken taco special came on a hard shell which was deep fried crunchy and much better than the store bought or fast food (Taco Bell) ones. The chicken was shredded white meat and lacked flavor. For $1, it's nonetheless a steal. The Al Pastor taco had generous portions of savory pork and is one of the better Al Pastor tacos I've had. The Fish taco is subpar and used small fish sticks, similar to what you'd find in the frozen section of a grocery store. Avoid the fish taco! Chili Verde and El Zarape both have a much better one. We tried both the green and red hot sauces. The green sauce was quite bland, so go full heat with the red one. The churro with cream was good - crispy with a soft center filling.

So after landing in Vegas very hungry but also knowing of plans to eat a heavy dinner at a steakhouse later had to choose wisely not with my stomach like I usually do lol. Didn't know what to expect here but got the five rolled tacos ( yes sounds like a lot!) with cheese and guacamole. Fresh, tasty and cheap! What more can you ask for! Liked it so much stopped here on the way to the airport going home and got the machaca plate for $10. The Spanish rice was light and fluffy, beans sort of runny how I like them and machaca as good as I've had anywhere else. Highly recommend for cheap eats!

They DO NOT follow ADA , American Disabilities Act. DO NOT SUPPORT THEM!!! The employee at the counter recused to lower his mask so I could lip read. I asked politely twice the if he was going to lower it and he shook his head. Worst manners I have ever seen, and I have seen plenty. DO NOT GO TONANY OF THEIR LOCATIONS.

I wanted tacos really bad and this place is right up the street so I figured I'd give them a try. The inside is clean, the staff is friendly and they have a huge menu. It looks like they have some decent daily specials also. I ordered one fish taco and one chicken taco over the phone. It's like a 2 minute drive from my house and my food was done shortly after I got there (which gave me a moment to check out the other items on the menu). I was hoping to be able to give more stars because of the cleanliness of the place and the friendly staff, but the tacos weren't that great. They were overloaded with lettuce and lacked flavor. I'm not going to give up on them though. I'm looking forward to trying some of the other items, and updating my review.

Found this place being near my home that I had just moved to. The service was a little bit slow but understandable as they were slammed with orders of in-person, phone, and mobile and there were only three people working at the time. The food was amazing. I tried the asada torta and it was cooked to perfection. It a small location and easy to miss but if you find yourself in the area and see it, definitely recommend checking it out.

I really want to like this place but the people here are so brain dead they never get the order right. How hard is it to put Al Pastor on some Nachos. It's on the menu but several times i come here they forget the Al Pastor on the damn Nachos. Its called Al Pastor Nachos. I want to say its a language barrier because they barely speak english but its more they just hire brain dead idiots to manage the cash register.

Worst Menudo I have ever had in my entire life!! I'm over 60 I've been eating it for decades. The worst maneuver I've ever had in my entire life stay away from this place.

Service was friendly and preparing was fast. Cleanliness was very clean and organized. The food however lacked for me and my husband. It was very bland, for us. The carne asada came in thick large pieces. The guacamole is very bland. I had asada nachos ordered to go and so asked for everything separate. Chips were fresh crispy and still hot. Chicken lacked seasoning. Value was decent. It was a large portion.

Absolutely terrible customer service. Placed an order ($50 worth) and wanted to change my taquitos from chicken to beef and within 5 minutes they were "already" made and wouldn't let me change them even though it was within 5 min that I called and the lady wanted to tell me it was longer than that. Decided to cancel the entire order because of the utter rudeness and lack of customer service. You want to lose a $50 ticket and a returning customer because of some taquitos that cost $2. Whoever answered the phone on Sunday 4:45pm needs to be fired honestly.

I've only tried breakfast burritos here. I ordered the chorizo breakfast burrito. If you really like potatoes, you will like this burrito because that is all you can taste. Very bland, which is odd for chorizo. Not for me.

The most mediocre Mexican food in the area. Dine In is even served in a styrofoam box lol.. order carnitas sopes and the meat the tried to hide under there was disgusting. Nothing but attitude from these jokers when I asked to re make it with asada. All you folks who rated this place high need your heads examined.

A good menudo must have callo, libro, cuajo, tripa and panal. The menudo in this store is missing some of parts which for the price I can say is expensive since is lack of all the parts and also the menudo must to be extremely clean so the soup doesn't have any smell in this case the menudo still have little smell but I am sure they can improve and also add the parts missing in the menudo. The soup has good flavor. Yes I will come back just to see if have any improvements.

Surprised it's not as famous as Roberto's because it's half the price and just as good (if not better ‍) Get the carne asada fries!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Great food reasonably priced. Better Roberto's than Roberto's. More consistent, better quality food, cleaner restaurants. Highly recommend.

I LOVE FAUSTO'S!!! My go to for Mexican food cause it's pretty much like Cali Mexican food. So it's BOMB! I will never go to another place. Even the taco shop it self is reminiscent of the good ones in Cali. Oh, warning, their red sauce is HOT!!! Holy shit! My nose never began running so damn fast LOL! Their green sauce is so good. Overall, Fausto's is my recommendation to anyone looking for that Cali Mexican food cause it will NOT disappoint!

My husband is really picky about menudo and this is one of his go to spots. The food is good and it's always clean inside.

This is my favorite Mexican fast food restaurant by far. Their carne asada fries are probably the best I tried. The meat is tasty and the amount of food they serve for the price is amazing. I have also tried their burritos, tacos, and other items. All of their food items are delicious. I recommend coming here and trying the carne asada fries. I do not understand that recent review that gave them one star for no manners, because the workers here are very professional and polite. I highly recommend this place!

This thing was as big as my forearm AFTER I ate a few bites!!! Carne Asada Chile Rellano Burrito... if ya don't know, now ya know...

Their super burritos with no pico, just onions and cilantro is the closed burrito I can get to burritos back home.

Good food! Large selection, have choice of meats, open salsa bar. Cooked fresh! Had three tacos, carne asado and chorizo breakfast burrito. The tacos where made full size with corn tortilla. Pico was diced just right size, nice and chunky with cilantro. The meat was was small bite size, could be a little bit more tender but still very good. The breakfast burrito was huge. Chorizo, eggs, potatoes and cheese. All food cooked to order. Very good!

My husband normally ordered at the Henderson location but Rainbow was closer. He said this location just like Henderson. There was one truck in front maybe 4 cars in the whole parking lot. We were early so we waited in the car. When knocking on the door at 8am, the man said 10 more minutes. Ok we finally got in. I think only one person opening the restaurant. Didn't have the condiments out yet. He was cashier and cook. We wanted fish burritos but he said there's no fish. Ordered omelette burrito, carne asada burritos, chicken enchilada. Waited for about 20mins. Food very good! Would definitely go back... just not at 8am. ; )

My husband and I stopped here for dinner. We were greeted by a friendly young man cleaning the tables. We were informed the menu is on the wall in the dining area. I ordered the two tacos meal with rice and beans. My husband ordered the burrito meal loaded with tender shredded beef, vegetables, and a cheese enchilada. It was seasoned perfectly with rice and beans. My tacos were crunchy and loaded with shredded beef, cheese, and shredded lettuce. Our appetites were quickly diminished by the hearty meal and we left more than satisfied.

This as wonderful authentic Mexican fast food restaurant directly competing and on par with Roberto's Taco Shop. Great Carne Asada, Bean & Cheese, Shrimp Cocktail and much more.

This place is amazing, everything is so good. It's always clean, food is fresh, portions are hefty and prices are low. Chicken tacos for$1 on Tuesday are delicious.

little mexican place near rainbow and windmill. So many little mexican like Roberto or Don Chuy around town but Fausto you are goooood!!! Very glad little shop are blooming on rainbow from 215 & windmill!!! We wanted to grab a quick bite and we tried Fausto! they were having lunch but as soon we walked in they all got up to take care of us. the kid at the register taking our order was very polite and helpful. We ordered a beef torta combo and i had 5 yakutia with steak and guacamole! their red sauce is hot hot hot... i added some salt in it :) their fries were crunchy and hot and very good :) $15 for 2 including fountain drinks little clean place near home while we were enjoying our meal more clients walked in which made me happy for them (Fausto's team) will come back :) thank you for the yummy torta steak, lettuce, tomato

Great service and great food. Much better than Robertos. The servings are HUGE too. Will definitely be back again.

Order The best Al pastor fry's, add onion and cilantro. There Horchata is fire highly recommended breakfast burritos are amazing as well with a side of jalapeños.
