Yelp
I came back to this place because the burger is really good, unfortunately my return trip was a terrible experience.
I ordered on Yelp/GrubHub, and saw that my order was ready. I rolled up, but my order wasn't on the shelf where they distribute orders. The door was locked (my first experience here also resulted in a locked door, a locked door makes more sense at 11pm than noon, guys). One man had been waiting, I tried knocking on the door. No answer. Pretty soon a literal flurry of people start approaching the door. They're down with this place, but this place wasn't down with us.
I tried calling, but the mailbox was full. At this point I'm a little livid because 9.9/10 of my ordering experiences are pleasant and quick. It was at this point where I was like, alright I better get comfortable.
More people showed up, more confusion, finally a dude answers the door but was really rude to the person.
Fortunately, for me, I just stayed silent, read Reddit, and the same dude offered me a coffee while I waited.
Ultimately, I waited an hour for a Fckn Good Burger.
The disaster that happened was chalked up to the WiFi going out. I hope that's true, not sure where the music was coming from, maybe they're using CDs or an MP3 player?
My advice for the business:
* Don't lock the door in the afternoon, or at least answer the door on the first of 10 knocks (from different people).
* Put out a sign saying you're swamped, I can be sympathetic to a popular joint.
* Maybe lower the volume on the music a little bit. I definitely have acute tinnitus right now. It's not bad music, but it did become a little torturous hearing The Ying Yang Twins incessantly sing, "Beat the p*ssy up," I just wanted to eat a burger
I'll probably be back, I eat at a variety of local places, but I don't write reviews often. I want to give good reviews to everyone, and maybe this is a lesson for me to actually write those reviews for the consistently good joints.
It's hard out there for restaurants, but don't shoot yourself in the foot!
