Great food, good drinks, and good service. We stopped in when everywhere else was full. Though we got there right at opening there about, but got seated right away. It definitely filled up while we were there. My husband and I split the courses but all the food was fantasic. There wasn't anything that we wouldnt order again, though we will be back and probably try something new as well. Oysters were fresh, greens were fresh, pasta was fantasic and desserts were solid. Worth a try.

FEDE IS A MASTERCLASS IN RESTRAINT We walked in on a Tuesday in the dead of winter and the room was full, a calculated flex for a place with no phone number and a handwritten menu posted as a blurry photo online. If you're this good, people will find you. The service is refreshing. Our server, Jen, didn’t give the "everything is good" script. She ranked the pastas with zero hesitation (Lasagna, then ravioli, then spaghetti) and was transparent about which seafood was local and which wasn't. That level of honesty is rare. The standout for me wasn't the lasagna, which was excellent, but the baby mustard greens. Some chefs are scared of bitter, assertive greens and bury them in heavy dressing. Here, the greens were sharp and peppery, dressed so lightly the vinaigrette felt like an accent rather than a disguise. It’s the kind of confidence you only see in a kitchen that trusts its ingredients. This place runs perfectly even when the owners aren't in the building, which is the ultimate hallmark of a professional operation. If you’re in Astoria, trust Jim at the Bowline and eat here. Outstanding meal. Started with bright, clean-tasting oysters (from Netarts). Nice mignonette with them. Radiatore with lamb ragu hit all the right notes. Chewy, tender al dente pasta, rich, full-flavored sauce with generous mouthfuls of lamb, topped with just the right amount of parmeggiano. Side of spinach was salty-sweet, cooked with minced onion and topped with more parm. Bread provided with the meal, a nice touch these days. The atmosphere is light and friendly, wait staff was cheerful and attentive. Wine list and desserts looked tempting; I'll try them next time. I can see why it's a popular spot.

Great meal! If you like pasta this is the place for you. There was I believe 11 options for pasta. We got 3 and if it wasn’t house made it’s such high quality we couldn’t tell. Great drinks and dessert as well! Staff and service was 5 stars!

While Fede may not take reservations, they are the best example of good things come to those who wait. Mid-week wait time was only 30 minutes, and well worth it. Incredibly fresh seafood and fantastic homemade pasta, and an amazing staff. Worth the drive from Portland just to eat here. Will definitely be returning on our next trip out.

We are so lucky to have Fede! This place is wonderful. I’ve been here many times since they opened and I’ve always had an excellent meal. Truly, I’ve never had a disappointing dish here—everything has been delicious. The lamb radiatori, lasagne and mafalde are a few favorites. Their wine list is great, their cocktails are very good (I love the ship report), Faith is such a warm and kind person, everyone who works here is a total sweetheart, and the prices are very reasonable for the quality and portions. Just a gem in every way. I’m glad they don’t take reservations—just plan ahead and get there early to put your name on the list.

Tonight we had the fennel salad, pork shoulder, Tagliatelle pasta, beans with nduja, and tiramisu. All excellent. One of our favorite restaurants and certainly the best Italian restaurant in Clatsop county.

As the restaurant claims, they serve authentic Italian food and I would agree. Although I am not sure if they take reservation as we were able to walk in a reserve a table. Seafood soup is great. Full of flavor and the portion size is acceptable and reflective of the price. Cabonara: Pasta is made fresh. However, the flavor might be a bit too strong of parmasan. I know that some people like it that way. Just want to put it out there in case people care. Technique is good. Lamb Ragu: This dish is excellent, I forgot what the pasta shape is called but is paired nicely with the rest of the dish.

Well worth the wait. Outstanding food and drink. Lovely space on the Astoria Riverwalk. Central kitchen so you can watch if you wish, great waitstaff. We had a lovely evening. The Sugar Snap Peas (a take on Edamame) was so incredibly good, I am going to try to make it at home. My wife had the huckleberry fizz to start ( outstanding mix of gin, home made limoncello, and huckleberry). I don't drink alcohol, so I am going by her delighted description. We started with the Burratta sitting in a pool of fresh pea puree and covered with several streams of great herbal basil pesto. It made a perfect pairing with the fresh warm bread brought with it. We followed with the Caponata, the eggplant was small halved japanese with sliced sweet onions and some large slices of bell pepper. Very good, but I prefer it a bit more chopped up and more caper/olive overtones The pasta was enough to make me want to drive back out to the coast again for another dinner. Fresh made, complex shapes and flavors and perfectly cooked... We had the Radiatori and the Creste de Gallo pastas. The Radiatori worked so well with the sauce from the large tender pieces of braised lamb shank. The Creste de Gallo with Asparagus and Parmesan was my favorite, but I am partial to Asparagus (which was just firm enough to stand up to the al dente Creste de Gallo.It wa My eyes were bigger than my stomach, and so we also had a large and tender piece of Sablefish with tomato and olives. It was divine!! Packed up a lot of it so we could get dessert Lemon tart and Flourless Chocolate Torte a nice end to a perfect evening

This place should just close. It's obvious they don't want to be here or be in buisness. What is it with this location. It seems like no restaurants seems to last here. Last month we drove an hour to find out they were closed and had gone to Italy. Tonight my handicapped wife walks all the way around to a sign on the door stating that they are closed and not seating anyone. Plenty of tables mind you. It was 5:55. They are supposedly opened until 9:30. They also don't take reservations. I also tried to call them but they don't answer their phone, it's a voicemail saying to email them instead. Frustrating.

A nice place on the coast to enjoy pasta. The views here are picturesque. Our server was super helpful in navigating us through the menu. I highly recommend the deviled eggs, ceasar salad with delicious albacore and the tagliatelle. Get here early because there was already a line before it opened.

Great wine list and what a view! Friendly staff too. We had fennel salad, a cheese plate and a ricotta toast that was excellent. Highly recommend the Gamay Noir (Jacob Martin, OR).

Came by right before they opened and there was already a line. We were able to get seated about 30 mins after they opened which was not bad. It gave us time to mull over the menu and we settled on: lamb ragu, papperdelle pasta, ceasar salad, oysters, and focaccia bread. The pastas were delicious. Sauces were savory. Salad came with pieces of fish and it was delectable! Our cocktails were bright and refreshing. Worth a stop if you're in Astoria.

"WOW" really encapsulates my partner and I's dinner experience here. We originally planned on going to the SEA Crab House, but saw the menu on the window of this place and couldn't help but change our plans. Their menu is broken into courses with the smaller/shareable plates in courses 1-2, and the heartier options in courses 3-4. Everything on the menu looked terrific, which made it so hard to choose. We ended up starting with the deviled eggs & arugula salad, and then each got a pasta for our main course. I really want to emphasize I am not exaggerating at all when I say that all of the food was absolutely splendid AND, if that isn't enough, the prices are great. My shrimp linguine was a very generous portion and only $18. The quality of the food compared to the price is probably the best I've ever experienced. Also, the deviled eggs are a must. On top of the food being great, our waitress was amazing. She was very nice and knowledgeable about the menu. It wasn't super busy when we first arrived (maybe 4:30pm), but the place was pretty full with people waiting by the time we left. After one dinner, Fede is 100% our new go-to dinner spot when visiting Astoria. I can't wait to come back and try other items on the menu!

Adorable Italian restaurant right by the water. We walked in at opening without issue. Deliciously flavorful Italian food with friendly service. Loved watching the sea lions from the window while we ate. Would recommend for anyone looking for a nice meal with ambience/views while out in Astoria.

This little place sits right on the water off of 12th street. Get there early and expect to wait a bit- they don't take reservations and have limited seating. The max number a table can hold is 6. But it is soooo worth it!! It reminds me of the little trattorias I would visit in Italy. They make EVERYTHING from scratch, the pasta, the bread, the limoncello, even their special cherry liquor! Most of the seafood is local too, minus the rainbow trout. Faith the owner is incredibly kind and their waitresses Ann and Jen will make sure you are well taken care of. It was so fabulous I came both nights of my stay in Astoria. First night I ordered the pistachio pesto pasta. Second night I ordered a limoncello spritz and the seafood soup. The shrimps were so tiny and cute!!

Unique menu offerings and Italian tastes to brag about. While trying to close, they allowed us in and took wonderful care of us. Sherryl had a lamb and pasta dish, and I the pork and beef Ragu. Everything was delightful. We would heartily recommend every thing. Be ready for plentiful portions. And a very romantic setting and pleasant service persons. Thanks for allowing us in.

Impressive is how I would describe this culinary experience. The menu is simple and everything that came out was high quality and simply delicious. I love how you get to choose from several courses as you order, making it feel like more of a journey than a final decision. We enjoyed the marinara pasta and the lamb pasta (incredibly tender and well cooked). Our favorites accompaniments were the marinated mushrooms, the fennel tomato soup, the broccoli, and the house-made bread. There are 2-3 chefs in the kitchen running the show with several very attentive and kind waitresses. It's a cozy, niche, high end experience.

Best Italian restaurant on the north coast. Expect a little wait because they don't reservations. Pastas are fresh and flavorful. Also highly recommend the meatballs. The cocktails are creative and help the wait pass quickly.

Such a great place! It feels very boutique. They have very limited hours, and first come first serve to get a table. The menu lists choices under each course. You can mix and match in any way you want. The food was amazing! The whole thing felt like some brilliant person's hobby, in the best way. Did I mention the food? It was great! And great fun!

This restaurant has ok but the lack of customer service and pompous attitude make it one of the worst places ever to go!!! Empty tables and they wanted you to wait an hour to eat. The host was condescending and non customer friendly!! The owners are also full of themselves.

One of the top five meals I've had. The attention to detail was amazing. I had the ragu and my husband had the Bucatini. Both were amazing but his clams were the best I've ever had. The salad and bread were also amazing. Great cocktails and wine list. Service was excellent too! Only negative: could have done without the tiramisu, it wasn't at all what you'd expect. Can't wait to go back

Hate to say it but this is so not worth the over an hour wait time. I will never understand the business tactic behind not accepting reservations to be honest and definitely expected better after showing up at 5:30 and being sat almost at 7. The only saving grace was the deviled eggs. The pasta was overcooked and so gummy. Both pastas needed seasoning. We had to doctor it up adding salt, pepper and crushed red pepper in order for it to resemble something flavored. For a small town I could understand there aren't a lot of options but I definitely won't be waiting for this one again. Also I understand I have biased tastes coming from Portland and trying to compare restaurants to ours, which is unfair since we are the foodie city and great food is easy to find everywhere.

Fedé is unequivocally, hands down the best Italian meal my wife and I have ever had. Period. End of story. The staff were amazing (friendly and personable without being solicitous), the bartender is clearly a witch (she made the best Old Fashioned my wife had ever had - pure sorcery), and the kitchen put out the tastiest you can imagine (handmade pasta? Really? Now you're just showing off). 14/10 would recommend. And, before you smugly say, "Clearly, they're related to the owners", let me assure you we're not. We got into town late after braving Route 26 during the snowpocalypse of 2023 and were looking for somewhere cozy to have dinner. We found it in spades. Do your taste buds a favor and come here. You won't be disappointed. Unless you don't have tastebuds... then I can't really help you.

Food was amazing. Some of the best authentic Italian we have had. Lasagna was very thin light layers of pasta, not heavy overbearing cheesy mess that often get in other Italian restaurants. Fresh, handmade pasta, delicious flavors. Also had Carbonara, was also a light pasta. Chef driven, scratch kitchen, all handmade fresh, excellent food and service. Cute quaint restaurant

We loved this place! There was a wait but we expected that on. Friday night. The staff was great about getting us drinks so we could sit and catch up with friends we were dinning with. The host was so attentive, regularly updating us on our table. The food was fantastic and serving sizes were moderate size but perfect because there were so many yummy things to try! Thank goodness they were not bigger. I would have needed to roll to my car! Great experience. Def would go back. And we may go again during our stay in town!

Ohmygoodnesssssszzzzzzzzz! This place is amazing. The ambiance, thr decor--so cute. Location is great, of course. The courses are allllll yum. So, I found this place sort of by accident, when wave watching during the epic storms. The meat plate was HUGE. Three days later, I'm still snacking on it. The salad was yummmm not overloaded w vinegar or dressings. Simple, pure, yummm. As food should be served, so you can TASTE their true flavor. Hubby ordered the seafood soup and he was amazed at the wide selection of freshhhh seafood in it. I had a very hard time choosing but went with the rage. Noodles are hand rolled and so thin. (All their pasta is made in house.) Sometimes less is MORE. The sauce was excellent. Then the dessert. Hubs chose the lemon tart and I stole a bite. Flavorful, not oversweet. Perfect. Then, I chose the orange olive oil cake. The dessert of the year for me. I'm going to dream of it. Waitstaff is incredible. Owners are present and active in menu selection. This is NOT Olive Garden. Thus is true Italian food. I would suggest trying it...but I can't. If you try it...I will never be able to get in. Maybe go to Taco Bell. I don't want to ruin my odds at getting a table. Don't worry...I will happily describe every meal I eat there so you can live vicariously.

Amazing food. We came in at 5:30 on a Friday night and got our name on the list, went nearby and had a glass of wine and they called my phone 20 minutes before the time they predicted. The food was absolutely exceptional. It was the best Italian food we've had outside of Italy. We're here for two days and we are coming back tomorrow.

Gem trattoria right on the river in Astoria. I had what was certainly the best meal I ever had in Astoria. Everything was delicious and wonderful. This is a small, intimate, yet open space with super friendly service. Beer, wine and cocktails. They had is with the opener cheese platt we. So so good! An amazing arugula salad next. My girlfriend ordered the lamb paparadelle , which was outstanding. I had the lemon to ick fish with sides of lemony delicious leeks with parmigiana and braised mushrooms. So glad to see this place open. I plan to return many times.

Food made with love. Wow, we were very impressed with our dinner from Fede last night. The romaine salad with albacore was THE best salad I've ever had. The spaghetti carbonara was heavenly. The braised lamp pasta was perfect. We finished the meal with chocolates that melted in our mouth. Thank you for a memorable meal. The service was good. No reservations, but well worth the wait. Coming from Bellevue WA area and felt the price for the meal was fantastic.

We like to support our local restaurants as well provide a fair assessment. My husband & I have submitted separate reviews. First off we arrived early around 4 pm to enjoy a nice view as the daylight hours are short. We had a table seat next to a large picture window (pics already posted). It was great other than the very loud clattering of pans as they prepped for the evening, unaware perhaps how loud it was. The wait person was delightful, friendly and checked back appropriately all through the evening. I give her a high score for service. We started with the house wine which was pleasant, decent value but not complex which was fine. We tried items from each of the courses available. I will speak to my order only. We had 2 appetizers. They were pleasant and as expected. One was vegetarian and the other with meat. Although I ordered the one with meat I preferred the vegetarian crostini for overall flavor. My salad was a simply country style cucumber, onion, parsley with a olive oil vinaigrette. No salt or pepper was offered. It could be a bit more imaginative with flavor. A fresh, small loaf of rustic bread was tasty, served room temperature. Olive oil or butter was an extra charge. I don't think this is a good idea. My main course was the lasagne. This I would say is one of the best I have had. The pasta sheets were thin, the composition well balanced and flavorful. I would order this again no question. I was full so I didn't order another course other than desert & coffee. I had the orange olive oil cake with fresh whip cream. It was delicately flavored and pleasant. I will try to make this at home. The espresso is from Astoria Roasters where we aways get our beans so this was a plus. Overall we had a pleasant evening and our dinner was acceptable however, I'm not sure I would take visitors to this establishment. If they can get a reliable menu no matter what is ordered. If you base your food service as "fresh", it shouldn't be a reheat. I think there is great opportunity for this place perhaps if they dial it in a bit more. They were open to feedback through our waitress however the owner or chef didn't take the opportunity to come over although there was adequate time. The place got a bit busier after 5pm.

Great and friendly service. Nice menu not sure what the background of Italy but was very nice. Good focaccia and fresh breath. Appetizer was spot on. Main house had class. Cooked perfectly. Not too pricey

This dinner was delicious and very affordable! I had a cocktail with lemoncello which was very tasty. We shared the meat and cheese appetizers as well as the burrata. I had the ravioli for dinner which was delicious. I sampled the fish soup; it came with a ton of seafood! This was definitely a very tasty spot for an Italian dinner!

This place was sooooooo good! Everything we had was tasty and well made. We ate everything, no leftovers. Service was great too! The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The ambiance was relaxing, kind if romantic depending on where you sit. Love this place and can't to go back. FYI- this place is busy so if you don't get there early, there's a wait list.

We had an incredible time at Fedé. All of the food was delicious, and the service was excellent. They don't take reservations so we got there early, but they didn't rush us or anything as we enjoyed our many different courses. The plates are very reasonably priced and we were able to try many different options, all of which were delicious (get the leeks!). The sweetest part was Faith, the owner: she shared with my boyfriend the kind of vermouth in their Manhattans and where in Portland to find it, and even better yet, when my boyfriend forgot his vintage shirt he had purchased at the restaurant, Faith came and found us at a nearby bar to return it to us! Truly the greatest dining experience we had in Astoria.

This is an amazing little gem of a restaurant! I absolutely loved every single item I had. Tomato ricotta bruschetta, arugula salad. Roasted broccoli, mushroom ravioli, eggplant vegan pasta and ending with a delicious perfect espresso. Also delicious wine choices! Can't wait to go back!

Excellent service and wonderful food. The Seafood Soup was delicious and a meal by itself. Great way to celebrate our anniversary.

Astoria - You are SO lucky to have Fede. It saves the cost of a plane flight to Italy. What a delightful place! The food is simple, authentic and tasty and the service is spot on. We stopped in yesterday with another couple we all loved it. We shared a number of plates from all the courses from the oysters to the octopus. The aromas, textures and flavors are perfect. The wine list is well curated. We will be back.

A true highlight, and a town that is nothing but highlights! The food and service are phenomenal. Could not have had any better of an experience. I have gone multiple times, and it is always a treat. The rotating menu of fresh ingredients along with the trusted favorites make dining here a wonderful experience every time we come to town. I can't wait to come back!

We found Fede on Yelp and were so excited to try it and it did not disappoint. While a smaller size, the tables are not cramped and the open kitchen allows diners to enjoy the aromas of their and other meals cooking. The service was outstanding - our server was friendly on top of her game. The food was all fantastic in flavor with a bonus of very reasonable pricing. We will definitely be back -

***Long, informative review!*** I go into this review with a small amount of bias: I worked under an Italian chef that used to run his own dinner service in Astoria from 2015 to 2017. I moved out of the area shortly after that stint, but I still check the town out from time to time. This place caught my attention, and I decided to check it out. Twice! Night 1 was incredible. We came in around 6:00. * The mortadella crostini was a very good appetizer. Mortadella, artichoke, EVOO and good bread? Hell yeah. * The romaine salad with albacore was much better than I would have expected. It had the subtle nuances of a caesar salad, with chunks of albacore laden throughout. * The spaghetti carbonara was absolutely incredible. I hadn't had carbonara that good since the last time I was in Brooklyn. The thick, but loose emulsification of the eggs, guanciale fat, pecorino and pasta water was perfection. And housemade spaghetti, to boot! * The yellow bean dish with vinegar, white wine, garlic and EVOO was perfection. Perfect side dish. Night 2 was noticeably less impressive than night 1. We came in shortly after they opened, around 3:30. * The deviled eggs were pretty good. Well prepared, but, yaknow, nothing spectacular. * The creste di gallo dish with eggplant, tomato, cheese (don't remember what it was specifically) was pretty underwhelming. The tomato sauce was pretty acidic, and the eggplant almost tasted like it was simmered from raw in the sauce. Salt would have helped the dish tremendously - all I was able to taste was pasta and undercooked tomato. * The madalde, in the style of cacio e pepe, was delicious. I would have been impressed if they managed to mess this up. * Ravioli with ricotta, fennel, salmon... man, that was not very good. Either the pasta was worked too much, or it was undercooked, like below al dente. To boot, it tasted like an overwhelmingly bright salmon pâté, with nothing to balance that flavor. Cooks should always taste their food before sending it out - I would have not sent this out. * Additionally, someone at my table got the clam linguine - it was very dry, with almost no brodo, and incredibly underwhelming. I encouraged him to save bread for the brodo before it came out, but there wasn't much to speak of when it was served. The drinks, although good, were all entirely too sweet. I was surprised to find the amaro nonino to be the least sweet drink I had. At the end of the day, Fede is doing Astoria a huge favor by being around and providing its food to the community. I'm hopeful that this place will become the best restaurant in Astoria.

Had a girls weekend in Astoria.... All about the wine and food. Thought we would give Fede a shot. What a disappointment. We tried several red wines trying to find one that was palatable. They were all awful. Finally settled on a bottle of Rose. Ordered the focaccia bread to start, it was dense, flat, tasteless and oily. The entrees were not much better. During our meal the cook burned something with pepper and it caused most of the restaurant to cough uncontrollably. I had to get up from the table and my meal to be able to breath near the door that the staff had opened to try and get some air. The service was less than desirable. We will not be going back.

Such a wonderful restaurant!! The staff are attentive and committed to providing a fantastic dining experience. The food is fresh and amazing. All of this with a spectacular view on the river!

Owner Faith was so helpful setting up a special celebration dinner. She thoughtfully printed keepsake menus with a personalized tie for our friends' anniversary. The only negative: the space is loud. Sound-absorbing panels on the ceiling would be a nice addition. Fede is an amazing addition to Astoria's vibrant dining scene. Our group of four sat gaping at the menu because there were a ridiculous number of fabulous choices in every category. My friends loved their mortadella crostini. My ricotta and preserved tomato crostini were lovely. The ricotta was a rich, creamy base for sweet cherry tomatoes, and all were perfectly seasoned. The fish stew was a huge hit with both who ordered it, including the lifelong commercial fisherman who insists on perfect seafood. The broth had hauntingly complex layers of flavors. The mussels disappeared quickly, along with every drop of broth. Two very different pasta dishes got highest marks. The fileja with Calabrian chile and sausage paste, tomato and onion highlights the sweet vibrancy of tomato, and is underscored by rich sausage and very subtle chile heat. Perfectly balanced. I opted for bucatini in a salted roe-olive oil dressing with fresh salmon eggs and green onion. Umami bomb with rich salty deliciousness throughout the dish. Amazing! Two of us had lemon tart for dessert. Both disappeared quickly. Limoncello was served in a little bulb-based liqueur glass. Lovely end to a fantastic meal! I'll be back in Astoria this afternoon...about to look up what time they open since there's so much more menu to explore!

I Should start by saying I have bad food karma so hopefully, my experience is an exception but I somehow doubt that. My wife and I tried out this restaurant for the first time with high hopes. To be fair, my wife had a very enjoyable meal that she would rate highly. Me on the other hand, well read on. The second course consisted of a salad with arugula as the leafy green. The arugula had some freezer burn and was a bit leggy. By that I politely mean, the leaves were overly mature, making them even more bitter than usual. Next I had the lamb dish which was just fine but unimaginative. Then the problem dish arrived. Pork shoulder. Frankly it looked a bit odd. The carrots looked like something I remembered from middle school. Oddly for me and for some instinctive reason I started pulling the meat apart to take a closer look. My first impression was the fat seemed to have a odd consistency. Then came my big mistake, I eat a piece! It was a gross combination of reheated warm and freezer cold. In that moment it was as if the lipstick has been wiped clean off the pig. They were just reheating food! After a minute or two the person waiting our table asked if everything was OK. I explained the above and was then asked if I would like something else. That was it, not even an acknowledgment of this epic mistake from the chef or the owner, who were standing not more than 20 feet away from me. And by the way, this was 5 o'clock in the afternoon and the restaurant was, well almost empty. My hopes were high for this place, but it seems they are making the classic chef Ramsey mistake. The menu is far too ambitious and the food has an inconsistency found in restaurants that are taking short cuts to make life easier for themself but will inevitably drive customers elsewhere. If you are thinking of trying this resteraunt, they maybe worth a try but proceed with caution. For me, reheated food especially pork isn't my thing, sorry.

We had a true 10-star experience here! First, the space: It's located in a grand old building and is pleasant from outside (think wharf-y quaint). The inside is light, airy and inviting (not to mention very clean)! The bathroom is upstairs and the beautifully restored building still has that old building smell that I thoroughly enjoy. Next, our arrival. We were very warmly greeted as we walked in. We excitedly studied the menu and ordered some tasty starters: the deviled eggs are wonderful, the cucumbers were awesome, and the buratta was great. Two in my party ordered the fish soup and were surprised that it was much more complex, with mussels, etc. They reported that it was exquisite. The wine and cocktail menu was sufficiently long and had something for everyone. Now, for the food: Dear lord, the food here out of this world! I'm kind of a finicky eater, so I didn't try the mushroom pasta or the rainbow trout that my family ordered, but they said everything was absolutely DIVINE. I ordered the tagliatelle because I love meat sauce and it perfect. My brother ordered the lasagna (which was my second choice) and let me have a bite. OMG, I believe that the Fede lasagna is the best I've ever had! When we go back, I'm totally getting that! Next, let's discuss dessert. WOW! Ah-mazing! We got the orange olive cake and lemon tart, the latter of which was so stunningly delicious that we ordered a second slice AND the flourless chocolate cake. We all DEVOURED the lemon tart! Last, but definitely not least, the service was impeccable. Faith and Jen took such good care of us! And some members of my party can be a little taxing on ANYONE'S patience! But Faith and Jen handled it SO well and addressed every request and annoying question with patience and grace. We don't live close enough to come back here soon, and I regret that. This is my new favorite restaurant and I WILL return. I have to taste that lasagna again before I die! (Sorry I didn't post any pictures with this review.)

Came in because all of a bar and customers were recommending this place. From a distance and walking in, it felt very homie. Faith and her husband really make this place great. Great vibe. It's a must in Astoria. The service was phenomenal, friendly, smiling. Everything you want. The food was great. 4 course meal. Deviled eggs where amazing. Fish soap was so great, the taste was exquisite. Also the Octopus was sooooooooooiooooo good. Try for yourself.

I was very hopeful when I heard there was a new Italian restaurant in town but unfortunately I was disappointed. Chicken was dry, lasagna was tangy, raviolis were undercooked, appetizer was a slice of bread with a thin slice of meat laid on top of it, small portions, confusing menu, the salad was lightly dressed greens, long wait, crowded space. I feel bad leaving a bad review but I really did not enjoy anything about this meal or experience.
